I have been a customer of Preferred Pest Control for approx. two and a half years. My wife and I are very happy with Preferred and brag to our neighbors about their service. We have experienced nothing but professionalism from their technicians and have not been bitten by any mosquitoes since we started their service. We will continue their service as long as they are in business.
I can't say enough about the wonderful service Preferred Pest, Termite & Turf have provided to me for the past year. I have been treated with respect. They have provided a great service at a fair price...and that includes educating me on their procedures. Great company!
Initial Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2016/03/30) */
A full refund was given as Leonard was unable to accommodate the customer's demands. Leonard's district manager actually contacted the nearest Revdex.com office (Roanoke) before the full refund was given back to the customer to make sure that we were...
handling this issue in the best manner. Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaint.
We purchased through Groupon and were very pleased with the service , I could not believe all the things that were included in the service, they sprayed in every room, in garage and all around outside of house, I was so impressed that they cleaned all spider webs on outside of home with brush, and sprayed in flower beds also very impressive, I have used other company's who come and half spray and leave, not them they take there time and do it right . Thank You so much would recommend them to everyone , if you use other companies who barely spray, then you need to try this company they are Awesome!
professional, reliable, affordable, and I would recommend these guys any day for all your pest needs!
We have been SO very impressed with Preferred Pest Control. They are professional, courteous, NO pressure whatsoever, and their follow up is amazing. We would HIGHLY recommend them to any and all looking for a pest control company that is worth the money spent!
Summer is almost gone and no mosquitoe bites and no mosquitoes, what a fantastic job Preferred Pest does. Its been three (3) years with the service of Preferred Pest my family and I have lived mosquitoe free. We live in the woods and you would think the mosquitoe population would be unbelievable however, with the help of Adam who is our technician for Preferred Pest, we do not have to worry about those little biting pests. I would like to say Thank You to Sam and Adam for doing an exceptional job.
I purchased a Groupon, the respresentative came out and immediately knew what my problem was and how to reslove it. Due to my schedule it was a week before the technician was able to service my home, but he did his job came out 1 more time and the problem was resloved. Both men were polite and professional. I would recommend this company over and over again.
I have been waiting on delivery of a 14x28 building that I purchased back in December of last year. I purchased a pre-assembled 14x28 building from this company in good faith based on my previous transactions with this company. The building was used and that it needed repair before being delivered. Salesman initially quoted delivery time being 4-5 weeks. It took the company three weeks for the building to be repaired. After the building got repaired the delivery got pushed back three times due to weather which I understand. I had been patient through this process. I asked them if I could get delivery by a certain date and the CEO stated that he would rather give me a refund than move the delivery schedule around to deliver my building which I had paid in full. They gave me a temporary shed to put my belongings in meanwhile, so that satisfied my needs at that particular time. Couple more weeks go by and still delivery. Through this entire process I have been the one calling to check on status of delivery, not them calling me with updates. So finally we schedule a day for delivery, I was told the truck would be at the location to load the building up around 12pm. Knowing that I took a half day off work to go move my vehicles around to make it easier on the delivery driver. 4pm rolls around and I finally get a call from the district manager stating that they could not get the building on the trailer due to the ground. He also stated that even if they could have gotten the building on the trailer they couldn't deliver it since they did not know the ** department of transportation laws. There are certain time parameters in which they are legally able to deliver the building. So after that weeks go by again and I'm still waiting on delivery. I decided to call the Delivery manager at the corporate office and she was under the impression that I had received a refund and no longer was pursuing the building. I told her that I had been waiting for delivery since day one. I have called the CEO several times trying to relay my dissatisfaction with the entire process and he is yet to return my call. I purchased the building toward the end of December 2013 and it is now April 8, 2014. This company has cost me time off of work and just pure frustration. I feel this company is truly lacking in the customer service department. Desired SettlementI am not asking for anything from this company other than the building I had originally purchased. I believe 4 months is more than ample time to deliver a building.Business Response Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaint. Unfortunately we have had a VERY wet winter. It was impossible to get this building out in a timely manner until the surrounding area had dried out significantly. The customer failed to mention that we had given him a "loaner" building to use until we were able to deliver his building. Regardless, this matter should be resolved as we DID get his building to him this week. Customer service is very important to Leonard as being in business over 50 years with over 50 stores will attest to.Respectfully submitted, [redacted]Consumer Response Yes I did receive a temporary building and that did satisfy my situation for a while. However the lack of customer service I received was terrible. Honestly what kind of customer service is it when the District manager will only text a customer and will not return phone calls. I have saved text messages to prove it. My building did get delivered on 4/15/2014. However there were some problems with the delivery. The delivery drivers removed two speed limit signs and some of the communities paper boxes and never put them back up upon exiting the neighborhood. I had a resident ask me about it and gave me a hard time because he could not read his papers because they were wet because the drivers did not put back up what they took out. Also the building was not set straight, it is sitting crocked in the yard. I told them it was not straight when they delivered it. Overall my experience with this company has been unsatisfactory and I will NEVER do business with this company again.
I purchased a new trailer from Leonard located at 228 Zeb Robinson Road in Henderson, NC last month. The product does not function properly.I purchased a new trailer from Leonard located at 228 Zeb Robinson Road in Henderson, NC last month. Since then, I have made numerous trips back there due to a severe vibration in the trailer. They stated that it is a tire issue so they put a new tire on there. I let them know that the problem is still occurring. However, when I returned today there was yet more confusion and the tire hadn't been correctly ordered. The unfortunate resolution offered by [redacted] was to contact Carry-On because it was between me and them. Upon contacting Carry-On as advised by Mr. [redacted], I was told that it is an issue between me and Leonard. Both sides are blaming the other side with no resolution. I bought a trailer from Leonard because they are supposedly 100% backed but that is not the customer service I am receiving. If Leonard does not in fact back Carry-on trailers, then that to me is false advertisement to there customers. I want a resolution on this. If I had wanted to take a chance on having issues with a trailer, I would have bought used instead of new. I refuse to have mismatch tires on a brand new trailer and I want this situation remedied immediately. Hopefully, this form of communication will reach a resolution because thus far I am getting NOWHERE. Desired SettlementI would be satisfied with either a replacement trailer or a refund in full of my investment. However, this would also need to include the additional money that I have already spent titling this trailer with the DMV in the amount of $121.00Business Response Leonard's District Manager has been in touch with consumer and is in progress of resolving issues.Thank you for the opportunity to respond. Customer service is very important to Leonard.
I purchased a brand new enclosed trailer and it has been leaking and they have repaired it 3 times and still have not fixed the problem and I get the run around and keep getting lied to and they dont want to replace the top or replace the trailer I have not hauled anything in it yet and the payment is about to be due!!!!!Product_Or_Service: 6x12 [redacted]Desired SettlementTo replace the whole top due to leaks and rust or replace with new trailer and pay for tag transfer and all paperwork with the finance company!!!!Business Response Mr. [redacted] is scheduled to receive his new trailer today, Monday 3/30. Our store manager said he has stayed in contact with Mr. [redacted] to keep him informed of status. Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaint.
Defective cover on a truck. It leaks, back door pops open and the seal around the window if defective.I acquired a new truck that was owned by my father who is now deceased. My father had purchased a cover for this truck from Leonards on 5/16/14. When I took possession of the truck in July 2014 in had less then 500 miles on it. There were problems with the cover and I started taking it over to Leonard in order to get it fixed. All I have been getting is the run around ever since. I have talked to numerous people in management about the cover. One name [redacted], the other is [redacted]. They made an attempt to try and fix it on 12/14/14 however the repair just made it worse. The seal on the window bows and after they fixed it, its bows more. You can stick your hand inside the seal of the cover. I spoke with [redacted] in Jan 2015. He said that he was going to contact someone in the corporate office and have them contact me. I never heard from anybody. I looked up the number to the corporate office on my own. A man named [redacted] contacted me in February. They had someone from out of town to look at the truck. He said that the cover needed to be shifted back and that would correct the problem. He told me that someone would contact me about repair, however, I haven't heard from anyone. Yet another broken promise. I think that the cover is shoddy workmanship and I think that the company is taking advantage of me. Everyone (6 different people) I have spoken to has promised to call me back, but I haven't heard from anyone. Item #[redacted]Amount $2192.42Payment Method [redacted]Desired SettlementI would like for them to take the cover back and issue me a refund for the total amount.Business Response NC District Manager, [redacted] did leave a voice mail with his cell phone number for Ms. [redacted] to call him and set up a time to meet him at the Jacksonville store since she did not want to deal with the personnel at that store. [redacted] said he never received a return call back from Ms. [redacted]. To avoid further miscommunication, I have relayed all information to [redacted] and he will contact her by her email address that she listed in complaint.Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaint.
Review: I purchased a storage shed from [redacted] location in June. Upon delivery, their people bent my the gate of my fence. It currently looks awful and won't open all the way anymore. I contacted [redacted] when it happened. He told me he would fix it that next week. When I called that week to follow up I was told he went on vacation. Since that time I've repeatedly called him to fix the gate and keep getting the response of "I will fix it tomorrow or I will fix it next week but no action has occurred. It's wrong for a company to break something upon delivery and not repair what they've broken. [redacted] lack of action in this matter has told me he has no intention of fixing the gate.Desired Settlement: I want the gate fixed. My understanding is that they will have to remove the old post and put a new one. I just want my gate back in the condition it was before they bent it.

Leonard's Store Manager and District Manager went to customer's house on 8/28/14 and met with customer. Adjustments were made to the post and customer knows a repair crew will be sent out later to finish the job. Customer was given District manager's contact info and seemed satisfied. Customer service is very important to Leonard as being in business over 50 years with 50 stores will attest to. Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaint. I apologize for the lateness in my response as I was waiting until we were able to go to site to meet with customer.Thank you, [redacted]

Leonard Building did come out to my home and work on the building. However that did not resolve the problem. They stated they would be back next week to pour concrete to stabilize the posts.

Review: I bought a metal building in Sept 2013 and the roof is leaking. I have been to the store and talked to the manager on 12/30/13 and I have not heard from them about replacing the roof. I have electrical equipment like a generator and saws and tools that have water on them. We have had previous issues with them and could not get a response from them until we contacted their corporate office.Desired Settlement: I would like the entire roof replaced and not patched. It leaks all over.

Review: I bought a building from Leonard Buildings local distributor in mid September 2014 to be delivered on Sept. 29 when I bought the building if had a few issues like a broken window and some siding with holes in them. They told me that after the building was delivered that it would be 2 weeks and some one would be out to fix window and any other issues.Well they delivered building on Sept 29 as promised, I was in the process of moving into my new home on that day so I showed them where I wanted the building and how I wanted it sitting, I then continued in my moving they set the building and left while I was away picking up another load of furniture as soon as I got back I realized they had set the building crooked in the yard I immmediately called the dealer and he assured me that when they came out in 2 weeks to put in new window and fix other issues they would straighten building.Well 2 weeks went by no window icalled numerous times always told that was on the schedule and by this time the floor had started to warp up because the didnt put enough supports under the floor called again same response man will fix when he comes to put window in, well after 2 months after the purchase a man shows up to put window in and says that is all he does he doesn't have a work order for the rest of the work.So I call customer service in Mount Airy and they assure me they will address problem well they didnt I have called numerous times with know results and this has been going on now for 6 months, my building is still setting crooked in yard with holes in siding and warped floor.they even just took broken blocks to sett ramp on for access to building this is a very poor quality service from this company.Desired Settlement: I would like them to come and fix the problems with the building and stop putting me off.

From: [redacted] Sent: Thursday, April 16, 2015 10:29 AMTo: Kelly MaceCc: [redacted]Subject: ID # [redacted])Importance: HighI am in receipt of the above complaint. Our customer received and signed for the building on 09/27/14, with no mention of repairs needed. (See Attached)We did receive an initial request , about a broken window (only), on 10/09/201, from our Retail Sales Location. The window was replaced on 12/15/2014, at which time we became aware of the additional needed repairs. There have been delays due to the unusually wet/cold weather in our clients area, as well as some missed communications from our Retail Sales Location. We apologize for these delays and are working to resolve any remaining issues. Several of our phone calls have resulted in having to leave a message, with no return call. We now have the customer’s e-mail address (which was in the complaint), and are trying to contact to finalize a repair date for the week of 04/27/2015.We value our customers, and I appreciate this matter being brought to my attention. I am sure we can come to a quick resolution.Sincerely, David W. H[redacted]Rent To Own Division; ManagerLeonard Buildings Inc.(336)-415-3446
