Steve and Gary were friendly and prompt and were able to communicate clearly and consistently. They diagnosed the problem with my Subaru right in my driveway and then sourced and procured the necessary parts. It was a pleasure to watch them work their magic, and shortly after they'd gotten back with the parts, the Subaru was back up and running. I will definitely recommend this business to anyone having car trouble, and I will be calling them again for future repairs and services.

L&S Mobile Auto Repair has helped me numerous times with my aging 2002 Impala LS with over 247k miles. Every repair has been fair, on time and fixed within the time frame estimated. These guys were great. They were fast and they come to you! They were honest with their prices and assessments. I went to Goodyear and they wanted to charge me insane amounts to have my brakes and rotors changed. These guys did it for way less, were faster, and still provided a quality service and product. HIGHLY Recommend.

Here's the deal. We've all heard of, and some have experienced auto mechanics who take advantage of a customer's ignorance when it comes to engine repair. It's happened to me. I know just enough about engines to get me into trouble - I'm not real knowledgeable about diagnosing engine problems and the cost of repairs and so on.
So all I have to rely on is my gut instinct about the mechanic's integrity to treat me right & fair. To that end I always ask this question: "Are you good at what you do?" When I asked Mike this question he looked at me for a few seconds and answered, "Yes, I am good but I don't know everything. I have a lot more to learn because I want to be better." He went on to tell me about getting his degree in auto mechanics and how he plans to further his education.
He explained that they would come out to my house and run a diagnostic on my vehicle on site for a fair charge.
I had been told by other "reputable" mechanics my truck had a blown head gasket. Turned out it was nothing more than a bad water pump.
A new water pump, thermostat, and a couple of other minor related issues were recommended including new front end brakes (which were shot) and the repair price L&S quoted me sure beat the $2,800.00 I was quoted by one of the mechanics I checked out.
Bottom line is this:
I put a lot of stock in a man's character. Good character is something that is not achieved overnight. The ingredients of good character are honesty & integrity. Those values are born out of persistence and dedication to do the right thing, to treat customers fairly and give great service - consistently.
Mike and Steve at L&S Mobile Auto Repair are men of good character. I count myself fortunate to have found them and to have them work on my vehicle.
Would I go back to them again? You better believe it.

It is never a convenient time to have trouble with my car and it never seems to be in my budget when things occur. L & S Mobile Auto Repair takes the IN out of inconvenient. All I do is call and they come to my car and if it cannot be fixed in my driveway of work parking lot, Steve takes it to his shop to fix and returns it good as new! Great service, honest and friendly

My family and I moved to Nashville in 2010 from Texas. In a new State, we had to find new businesses we could trust to help with various things that came up in all aspects of our life. One of the issues we faced early on was Huge...CAR ISSUES! We were in a bind and I found Steve with L & S Auto repair and I knew I was not alone. Steve not only came to our residence but gave me all the quotes for my potential repairs so I was not surprised when it came time to discussing those sensitive details. Steve was prompt, brought all of his tools and repaired my vehicle in less time than was anticipated. I have to say after that experience, I am loyal to Steve at L&S and will continue to be because he and his company deserve it.
