My Chevy Tahoe broke down and needed a new rear end Steve and Mike helped me out with excellent service and steering me in the right direction on what needed to be done to ensure I got it back on the road quickly, safely and not paying for parts and labor the original shop was charging I will be taking all of my vehicles to L&S for Steve and Mike to work on in the future!! Thanks guys!

Here's the dealWe've all heard of, and some have experienced auto mechanics who take advantage of a customer's ignorance when it comes to engine repairIt's happened to meI know just enough about engines to get me into trouble - I'm not real knowledgeable about diagnosing engine problems and the cost of repairs and so on So all I have to rely on is my gut instinct about the mechanic's integrity to treat me right & fairTo that end I always ask this question: "Are you good at what you do?" When I asked Mike this question he looked at me for a few seconds and answered, "Yes, I am good but I don't know everythingI have a lot more to learn because I want to be better." He went on to tell me about getting his degree in auto mechanics and how he plans to further his education He explained that they would come out to my house and run a diagnostic on my vehicle on site for a fair charge I had been told by other "reputable" mechanics my truck had a blown head gasketTurned out it was nothing more than a bad water pump A new water pump, thermostat, and a couple of other minor related issues were recommended including new front end brakes (which were shot) and the repair price L&S quoted me sure beat the $2,I was quoted by one of the mechanics I checked out Bottom line is this: I put a lot of stock in a man's characterGood character is something that is not achieved overnightThe ingredients of good character are honesty & integrityThose values are born out of persistence and dedication to do the right thing, to treat customers fairly and give great service - consistently Mike and Steve at L&S Mobile Auto Repair are men of good characterI count myself fortunate to have found them and to have them work on my vehicle Would I go back to them again? These guys r GREAT!!! I have used L&S several times now !!!!put an alternator in and was very very satisfied with their work and professionalism!!! good ole boys that will shoot ya straight!!!! Had a water leak and overheating......blown head gasket and cracked head they told me what to do and recommended places to purchase a new car !!!they broke it to me GENTLEY!!! Can't say enough good things about these guys they will shoot straight goods bad or ugly!!!!

The guys from L&S have helped me time and time again The guys have worked on my truck which is a Chevy Tahoe but have also worked on my wife's car which is a Nissan Sentra So it doesn't matter if it is foreign or American vehicle The guys know what they are doing I also appreciate someone who is honest and will tell you what has needs to be done

My family and I moved to Nashville in from Texas In a new State, we had to find new businesses we could trust to help with various things that came up in all aspects of our life One of the issues we faced early on was Huge...CAR ISSUES! We were in a bind and I found Steve with L & S Auto repair and I knew I was not alone Steve not only came to our residence but gave me all the quotes for my potential repairs so I was not surprised when it came time to discussing those sensitive details Steve was prompt, brought all of his tools and repaired my vehicle in less time than was anticipated I have to say after that experience, I am loyal to Steve at L&S and will continue to be because he and his company deserve it I hands down recommend L&S Auto to anyone who is looking for an honest, dependable, above and beyond company to take care of their auto repair needs!!!

Honest good mechanicsAfter going back to the dealer for the past two years for a reoccurring problem, Steve Cooper found the problemThen he recommend I go back to the dealer, with his solution, to save me money because I was still under warrantyHe could have done the work and charged me but he had my better interest at heartWhen I had another unrelated issue I turned to L&S Repair again and they did the work to my satisfaction

These guys do exceptional work and their prices are very reasonable

I'm a former DIY guy no longer physically able to do the tougher stuffI take very good care of my cars and so am reluctant to let someone else touch themMy first experience with L&S was very positiveThey replaced the timing belt, water pump, plugs, and accessory belts on my Acura RL Since the RL has an interference engine, the timing belt is critical to avoid a destroyed engineIn talking with Steve it was clear that he knows what he's talking about and importantly will not tackle jobs that he's not really equipped to do correctlyThe car was ready on time and runs great
I'm having them install new front struts and swaybar links on my Saab next week

Convenience, honesty, and customer service - you can't beat that! Glad to have found a trustworthy mechanic for my turbo JettaIt's tough enough to get the bad news on repairs, but I have never been lied to or "up sold" like with other repair shopsThe owner is great and always goes the extra mile to come to my work, or home, or even give me a ride if necessary, including weekendsIf I ask for advice he gives it to me straightHe has been working on my car for two years now and it runs better than ever!

Before moving to the Nashville/Bellevue area in 2013, I had a terrific auto mechanic back in Kansas--someone I trusted 1) to tell me what really needed to be fixed, 2) to not fix anything that did not need to be fixed, and 3) to charge me a fair price for the work done I've been looking for someone here in Tennessee who could provide the same kind of service for almost three years I think I may have found my shop I was referred to Steve at L&S by a local auto parts store where they buy their parts I needed rear brake pads and a transmission fluid flush on our Scion They quoted me a worst case scenario price, depending on whether the rotors needed to be replaced once they could actually visibly inspect them Turned out, the existing rotors looked nice and smooth, so they recommended just replacing the pads and leaving the rotors alone Saved me $right there Because of the potential for the transmission flush to get messy on my driveway, they wanted to do the work in their shop They immediately drove me back home when I dropped the car off and then returned the car directly to me at the house when the work was done They seemed knowledgeable, honest and they saved me literally hundreds of dollars from what I was quoted from both a dealer and another local shop to do the same work This was my first experience with L & S, but if this is any indication of how things are going to go, they will be getting all my future business on our family's three cars A good, honest auto repair mechanic is worth their weight in gold

L & S Mobile Auto Repair has JUST left my house, after performing a minor repair that I couldn't accomplish on my own I am very grateful someone referred them to me- they showed up when they said they would, they did what they said they would, and they didn't try to up-sell me on anything Linzey (Lindsay?) was very courteous and was really the reason I decided to go with L & S instead of one of the plethora of mobile mechanics I found on craigslist Steve did a bajob because, even though the repair was minor, he executed it quickly (without dragging it out like some would so as to charge more in labor), and even offered helpful advice to keep the problem from recurring With a car as old as mine, I'm almost 100% positive I'll use them again!
