I had a very frustrating experience with JustFly*** Their customer service was terrible Initially I booked a trip from *** ** *** with a return from *** *** ** *** My plans changed completely and I wanted to cancel the original plans and rebook just a one way from Denver to Boston on the same airline I expected to have a significant penalty to change but that I would be able to preserve some of my investment JustFly.*** gave me absolutely no value for my $400+ ticket and it took me more than three calls with several different agents and different answers to*** to this conclusion I felt they were intentionally misleading and they subjected me to long hold times before answering my questionsThe first agent I spoke with said that I could only preserve some of the value of my investment if I paid an additional $to cancel Then I would be subjected to a $rebooking fee from the airline and any difference in fare Also, I was told that I could only use the partial credit on the same itinerary with different dates within a one year period This restriction regarding the same itinerary (locations) did not seem reasonable, so I called again and spoke with another representativeThis second representative explained I could cancel for the additional $and get a credit which could be used on any domestic flight with the same airline We reviewed that I could expect to pay $for the rebooking fee but then I would have $toward the new fare preserving about 1/of my initial investment The only catch now was that he could not book the new reservation I had to wait hours I paid the additional $to cancel the reservation and have JustFly issue the credit The agent promised to send me a detailed summary of this transaction which I never received When I called days later to use my credit on a new domestic one way fare with the same airline, the representative initially informed me that I could only use the credit for the exact same itinerary, different dates After I objected, she put me on hold for several minutes She came back and and agreed that she could use my credit for another different domestic flight with the same airline The ticket I wanted to purchase, one way Denver to Boston on United was advertised for approximately $on JustFly*** *** *** *** *** sites Today's rep then proceeded to tell me that my new charge after applying the credit would be $ When I explained that my expectation was closer to $30, she said that the $published rate was for a new fare but not for someone using a credit Apparently, buying the same flight using a credit costs twice as much!!! I accidentally booked my flight from BUR-NYC for the wrong date (I got mixed up with red-eye flight dates)I called two days later panicked and and was told that they would allow me to cancel flight for $(she lowered it from $75) and that I can get credit to book the much cheaper flight the day beforeI asked her to book it over the phone before the price increasesShe apologized and informed me I have to wait hoursShe did not mention anything about fees involves with this new bookingWhen I called back in hours, I was told I can only book the same destination and departureThis was one piece of information that was not presented during my phone conversation, but because she was kind enough to lower my cancellation fee, I thought to myself, I'll let this one goHowever, when I went to book the flight again, I realized they are charging me $in fees, on top of the $I was charged for cancellation, on top of the $I paid for the original flightThat is a total of $in fees to use a $creditWhen I called back to tell them that this flight they advertise as $on the website shows up as $383, I was told "Well, of course, they must have told you there are rebooking fees." NoNo they did notI am so confused as to why none of these things were communicated with meHow do you charge me a cancellation fee and then a rebooking fee when both were given as options in your telephone pitch? She told me: "You can either cancel the flight for $and get credit, or change the date for $225, your best option would be to cancel the flight and book a new flight." Not once did she tell me I cannot book a regular flight on their website, that I have to book through a different link with different pricesShe simply said you can book the flight in hours with the credit from this flightI even told her, "There's a flight for $I want to book with my credits, can you do that?"That was her first opportunity to tell me that I might as well just buy the flight now, because my credits won't cover anythingBut she didn'tInstead she said: "You must wait hours to use the credits, and yes the flights may go up." The fees I was being charged to book from the "special rebooking website" equal the same amount as the credits I was given, so what credits was she talking about? One would assume that flight credit is used toward any flight advertised on your websiteIt was wrong of me to believe that the representatives would not withhold such important information before advising me to cancel my flightThen again, it was very obvious that the outsourced representatives were provided a script that they would not deviate fromI could have paid less had I paid *** *** take over the account*** *** charges $150, and if the flight you are changing to is cheaper, they will credit you that amountI could have paid less just paying the flight change feeIt would have also been cheaper to just not show up to my flight, rather than pay to cancel this and not be able to use the creditMost importantly, had I not been deceived, and had I been given the actual facts of what cancelling my flight would entail, I would have kept my original flightI would never have thrown away this type of money for a one day differenceI realize that there are always fees involved with all airlines and travel agencies, that's fairHowever, not a single person I spoke with was forthcoming about the actual consequences of what I was advised to doDo I need to read every single word on your entire website incase a representative is lying to me? I should be able to trust your word when calling these customer service representativesTo add insult to injury I wrote a long Email, detailing my complaint, and received a generic Email stating I must urgently call them for a time sensitive matterI called thinking maybe they wanted to make things rightI was wrongA customer service representative told me, "We Emailed you to say you must pay the fees when rebooking." Long story short, I was on the phone with different Justfly representatives for over an hour regarding $refund on Jan 12thI have emails and screenshots that proves that Justfly is responsible for the refundThey kept on repeating the samething without making sense or trying to understand what is an actual issueAt the end of the long consersation with one of the supervisor, Val, he verbally promissed me that he would issue the refund and it'll take about days to be processedI asked him to email me the refund receipt and he did send me an email right awayWhen I opened the email, it was the original purchase receipt, not the refund receiptI waited for the refund for a week anyways which never happenedI called Justfly today to make sure that the refund is issuedThey told me that they can't issue the refundIt went back to point I ended up talking to another supervisor and telling me the samething over and overThey wouldn't explain why they promised me that they
