I had Joyce Factory Direct install a very large bay window for me last yearIt is wonderfulThe installer was prompt, did a great job, was very kind and polite, did not damage my flowers, and hauled all of the old windows and mess away! His partner had a death in the family and was not able to help him that day and he did it all by himself I was very impressedMy friend did help him get the old window on to his truck for haul away

We have been unable to get our window replaced which has a "double lifetime warranty" We can't even get a call back from Joyce Factory Direct Below is a timeline showing my efforts: Called: 12/(on or about) - Called Joyce Factory Direct to initiate a warranty claim for one of my windows which had cracked I was advised that due to the upcoming holidays that it would take extra time to get the window done I stated this was ok as long as my window stays intact (but wouldn't be acceptable if it breaks of course) I was told I would be contacted to schedule the repair/replacement as soon as the window came in 2/- Called Joyce Factory Direct, asked to get an update on my claim Was told [redacted] (Production Mgr) wasn't in, was told to expect a call tomorrow (2/21) Asked about why I haven't been able to get my window fixed/replaced having called several months ago, was told I'd have to discuss with *** 2/- Called, was told [redacted] (Production Mgr) wasn't in and that I

we had them do jobs, the First one was all new windows ....the windows were way late coming in but the Installers were great and did a great job, the Second Job was a complete siding Job, to say disappointing would be the understatement of the Year, The crew was horrible, Cigarette butts all over the Yard , ran out of Supplies 4-times that had to be special ordered, Slow as I have ever seen ...it took Months to do this Job, customer service was non- exsistant once there were problems Marty the sales guy went into hiding, after about three months we basically just gave up ...its still not done but we are tired of the fight with these people ...all the crap you hear about siding people ....this is were it comes from Companies like this ...the crazy thing , They ASKED for this review even there memory is lousy

I contacted Steve's Factory direct on May 18, to have some warranty work completed on my gate hinge that had cracked and broken into two separate piecesAfter speaking with [redacted] all most one year later our gate hinge is still not fixed and due to weight of gate hanging by one hinge has cause damage to other hinge now requiring both hinges that hold the gate to be replacedWe have heard one excuse after another as to why no one as come to fix the hinge"We are awaiting parts." "We have had a large turn over in employees, trying to get everyone trained." "The weather has not been cooperating." "It's been too hot for employees." to the last excuse of "You are next on our list for repair, we will contact you on Monday with date and time for repair." That was months ago After paying $14k for a fence and being less than years old when first reported should not be having these issues We have done all that has been requested of us to have pictures of hing

There was some miscommunication on the service date, everything in our system and call recordings showed the service appointment to be on February 27th We apologize for the inconvenience Our service technician has remedied the service for the time being but we are planning to review the area again once the weather warms up and it can be safely reviewed, inspected and resealed as needed to prevent any future issues or leaks We apologize for the service inconvenience and plan on thoroughly inspecting and addressing the situation in the near future
I chose Customer Service issues as teh complaint but it could go more than that The salesman who came to our house told us they have their own premium wood and that everyone goes to them for materials Well, when the delivery of wood showed up it was from [redacted] once completed the fence was very flimsy as only two cross boards where used and nothing in teh middle so my lb dog could have gone right thru the fence We requested a 12' gate on the front and it was installed with the boards on the inside so someone could have climbed right over if they wanted also the gate was installed 6" off the ground so my little dog could go right underneath it The gate was also installed with 4xpost when the contract stated 6xpost I was told I could build a deck on top of my fence by the salesman well that is not true The chain link part of my fence has bent poles and the gate took a month to get installed the contract was signed early July Work was started on S
I was approached by " [redacted] " because I had met with their marketers a year earlier, but had not agreed to have them do the workI was told that the company was under new ownership and they were righting all of the wrongs of the pastI met with them, read these reviews, QUESTIONED THEM ABOUT THESE REVIEWS, and was assured that the "new owner" was working to resolve all of the previous issues and that they were moving forward with renewed commitment to their customersWell, all of that was a lieThe "new owner" is the daughter of [redacted] (previous owner, who was in charge when the poor reviews of the past were written [redacted] is still running things, still in charge of everything, and when [redacted] was in the hospital, his daughter, despite being the "owner" was unable to refund my depositHere's the short version- I agreed to have windows completed but was denied a loanI called times over the course of three weeks asking someone to call me to let me know how my refund would be issuedOn the 4th call I threatened to call the police and file a theft through deception reportI received a call backApparently, [redacted] was in the hospital and unable to issue refunds, but he was coming back on Monday, and I would have the refund within 1-weeksI called a week and a half later- [redacted] had gone back into the hospital and no refunds were issuedI asked them about a back up plan while [redacted] was out- there isn't oneI continued calling and finally (today) physically went up to their officeI called them when I was on my way to let them know I was coming, and M (production manager) said that was fine and she would have my checkI got there and the office manager told me I couldn't get my refund because she still hadn't talked to [redacted] (weeks since being told he was coming back on Monday)I told her that I had been lied to about their being new ownership and she told me that S (daughter) was the ownerI asked why S was unable to sign refund checks for her company, and was told that S left [redacted] in charge of that- despite him being unable to perform those duties due to health issuesI asked for M and was told that she was there but "I don't know if she wants to be bothered." I had to actually suggest to the office manager that she check with M, since she knew I was on the wayShe did, M came out, and I did receive my refund, but it has taken more than phone calls, threats to get law enforcement involved, and me physically going to their office to get this resolvedThere is NO WAY I would do business with this company
Form the moment the works showed up to install are Windows they were very polite and courteousThey treated my house like it was there own and they left it cleaner then they found it The quality of the windows was exceptional they work very well and look great will be recommending this company to friends family and anyone who ask
LOVE my new windows! The installers came in got the job done and were out of the way before I knew itVery efficient and cleaned up beautifullyI have a wonderful 'cross breeze' and am able to hear all kinds of sounds from nature and an amazing view! Thank you Joyce!!

I had entered into a contract to have upper second floor deck replaced by Joyce Factory Direct They removed my satellite and reinstalled it to the new deck The satellite service stopped working, so I contacted Mr***, sales manager for Factory Direct, who agreed to pay the $service fee for [redacted] Network to come out and evaluate the problem I had been speaking with staff at the company?s office to coordinate getting the money promised I have constantly been given the run around for two months now They kept telling me the check is in the mail, or there was a problem with the mail service Now they just outright lie to my face with all the excuses not to compensate me I believe it is important to be specific in the multiple ways that I the customer was inconveniencedStarting with the actual day the project was completed, I was not called to be informed or prepared in any mannerThe contractor showed at my home, I was not there, forcing me to make arrangements t
Joyce Factor Direct and Co-workers, Thank you so much for the wonderful job that you have done on our house! Your team was very good at making sure every detail my husband and I had in mind was ment! The contractors were wonderful in many way: The first way was how fast, but perfection that you did on the siding, Gutters, Trim, and bu***ing a wall to enclose our garage door and added a beautiful window in place of it! Our house looks much newer and bigger! The Second way was how you made sure at the end of the day that you had all the scraps and your mess picked up and loaded up in your truck to depose of it! I have had companies leave their trash all over the yard for us to pick up and it was wonderful not having to do that at the end of the day! The third and most important to me was that you took time out of your day to show us what you were doing on the house and to make sure we were happy with the work! I also was very impressed how you did with our two big dogs and all our outside cats, the workers never once made themselves feel like they were strangers and gave them all pets when they arrived in the morning to make the animals and the workers day move swiftly! You also made it fun for the kids that love to watch you the window by waving to them or talking to them through the window, they enjoyed seeing how, and what it takes to make a house look wonderful! My husband and I are very pleased with everything that we got done to our house, and we would recommended Joyce Factory Direct to anyone! I want my $refund for canceling the contract On January 16th I signed a "today Only" priced contract and gave them a check for a depositThe deposit would be refunded provided I cancelled the contract within business days either by certified mail or in personI would then receive my refund within seven to ten business daysMy wife and I decided to cancel the contract by going to there office in Stlouis on Monday January I spoke with the receptionist and she happened to have my file on her desk minus the $checkShe said the check was in a locked office and didn't have the key and would mail the check back to meTwo days later I noticed the check had been run through my checking account on the 19thGiving them the benefit of the doubt I decided to call them after having waited daysThey apologized for the error and told me the refund was sent to me on Tuesday the 26th of JanuaryWhen I called on the 1st of February to find out where the check was
