Review: Review: Fraud…..tried to sell me a “free” service! Misrepresentation! Internet Local Listings contacted my business which is an online school out of [redacted]. After claiming to represent Google, they promised that my site would show up on the first page due to their SEO activities. They promised that after receiving a payment of $[redacted], a person from the design team would contact me to help me set up my search words and to better explain how the services worked. As it turns out, nothing works!! The employee who was SUPPOSED to help me with my site, never called. I received an email om September 18, 2014, telling me to be patient while they worked to optimize my account and build an online presence.
I paid for the "service" twice, received no more assistance but I started to receive calls concerning payments for succeeding months after the October payment. . During each call. I would express my concern that no one contacted me about my services. Each caller would promise to make a note and have someone call me. Instead, I only get calls from the accounts receivable department asking for more money.
To date no one has called me to help me with services as promised. The last call was received today, December 18th, the accounts receivable department representative once again, took no responsibility for the unfulfilled company promises and instead threatened to send my account to collections.Desired Settlement: Desired Settlement: Admission of wrong doing, return of my initial investment of $[redacted], and quit harassing me

Response:
Internet Local Listings would like to
start this response by apologizing for any inconvenience that [redacted] may
have experienced in working with us for the Internet Marketing Campaign set up
for [redacted] Academy. When [redacted] signed up on September 17, 2014, we
collected a payment and began working on the account immediately. We attempted to contact the client several times without success and sent the account to our keyword specialists on September 19th, 2014 to have the keywords chosen so that work could continue to be done on the account and an email was sent to [redacted] to inform him that work was being done on the account. We then received the signed contract back (please see attached) from [redacted] and attempted contact again with no success. At this point, we had created the Google My Business listing which, is a "free" service and had also written customized content, obtained photos and worked their business listing into over fifty, 50, online directory listings. We would like to point out that while the Google My Business listing is a free service provided by Google, Internet Local Listings prides itself on being able to provide all of the work necessary for the creation and maintenance of this listing (and more than fifty, 50, others). The Visibility Package that [redacted] signed up for provided him with the Google My Business Listing, ten, 10, keywords with unlimited clicks, custom written SEO content, listings in fifty, 50, online directories, submission to PowerListings, Video SEO, access to our Marketing Dashboard, our industry leading fifty-nine, 59, day guarantee, a custom Google+ Profile, custom Yelp! Profile, custom YouTube Channel, custom Facebook profile, custom Twitter profile, custom Yahoo! profile and custom Bing profile. Each and every one of these products and services has been provided to [redacted] and are not free to the company. We do not believe in charging people for not providing work and. in fact, pride ourselves on the high standard of ethics that we've set in place for the entire company: this is why work was provided to [redacted] even though we were unable to get a hold of him.Internet Local Listings would like to point out that the signed contract (attached) goes into great detail to explain our fifty-nine, 59, day guarantee as well as our failed payment and billing protocol. With the work in the products and services that we provide to each and every one of our clients, our goal is for their business listings to find placement on the front page of Google but we understand that that's not always possible. In order to bring this ultimate success to each and every one of our clients, we provide our fifty-nine, 59, day guarantee that pushes billing monthly (until the business listing is ranking) at the end of the initial three, 3, month contract. [redacted] failed payment on November 17th, 2014 and at this point, his account was sent to our accounts receivable department in order to collect the payment that was due to us. During this time, work is still provided to the client as their online directory listings are continuously updated with keywords and maintained but we are unable to provide new work for the account as we are not being paid to do so. When [redacted] was contacted by our accounts receivable department, he was informed of all of the work that was done on the account and was asked to pay for the past due balance - At that point, any work requested to be changed by [redacted] would have been taken care of. In closing, Internet Local Listings is not able to process a refund as all promised products and services were provided to [redacted] although the third month that [redacted] agreed to pay for in the contract that he signed has not been paid for. We are more than willing to work out an agreement with [redacted] and are happy to talk about what is going on with your account.
Cslled 2 months prior to cancel and complaint about service not as advertise. False advertisement and my website is not posted on google or yahoo. Company called 2 months later on a private # to ask for $99.00 monthly charge when I already informed them to cancel my account. Lady representative I chatted with also try to make me pay $99.00 to cancel service which was suppose to be canceled months ago. Rep made threats to send me to collection. Worse experience I ever had with a internet listing company. Do let this company con you like how they coned me.
Awful scammers! They took my money and did nothing they promised. They messed up my google account and made changes making me look like a computer design company (not construction) with a before picture of a home instead of after my work, as my main photo. When I brought to their attention and wanted refund ....they stated "We will upgrade you and you will get social media, 10 cities on google and a weekly update on our progress" a couple months later.... Still nothing. I called to cancel and they argued with me that they have done everything even before looking my account up! How do you even know who I am? Such an awful fraudulent experience and the worst customer service.
Review: They keep calling regardless of how many times I opt out. There staff "[redacted]" a useless stack of ham that gave me incorrect address information on the company when I asked and dumped the call when I asked for a supervisor.
The harassment must stop.Desired Settlement: By all means put in your form letter of how it was a mistake and that it was an error.
I would love the owners name and phone number so I can call all the time and annoy the hell out of her.

Response:
Internet Local Listings would like to formally apologize for any
issues that have been pressed upon [redacted] in regards to receiving phone calls
concerning our internet marketing services. We take these issues very seriously
and have thoroughly investigated the matter. At this point, this problem has
been dealt with and handled accordingly. [redacted]'s phone number has been added
to our Do Not Call List as of January 29, 2015 and we have found the phone call recording to ensure that the agent responsible is
reprimanded as we have a no-tolerance policy for these matters. As a
precautionary measure, we would like to inform [redacted] that there are several
companies that provide the same services as Internet Local Listings that could
still be contacting the business number in question.
In closing, this issue has already been resolved as the phone
number in question - [redacted] - has been added to our active Do Not Call
List. If [redacted] has any other numbers that he would like added to the Do Not
Call List, they may be entered at any time using the form located at the bottom
of our website: www.internetlocallistings.com.
Review: This business misrepresented themselves as Google employees working for Google. This company is a scam and uses a false identity to take money from clients. They do not deliver what was contractually agreed upon. They do not properly address a client's concerns. They refuse to refund money if the client is not happy with services received or if the services a client was promised are never given.
This business has been reported to the Federal Trade Commission for scamming and presuming a false identity. They have had a DBA name change once because of poor reputation and too many complaints.
Our company paid for a list of services that were contractually agreed upon. After the 45 day guarantee by Internet Local Listings, our company was not happy with the outcome and wished to end the business relationship. Internet Local Listings will not reconcile with our company for damages.
Internet Local Listings promised to lead traffic and new clients to our company using keywords and a customized website. The website was not customized. Customization required an extra fee that was not disclosed at time of signing. Since the agreement was made in May of 2015, not one single customer has mentioned the Internet or a website as means of referral to our shop. It was not until this past week that Internet Local Listings shared any links of a website after the owners inquired what was going on with all the money they paid this company for a service. Internet Local Listings did not contact us for 3 months until we became suspicious and requested proof and documentation that work was being done.
Because Internet Local Listings refuses to refund on services they did not receive after causing damages to us, any and all government and legal action will be taken against this company until the money is returned to us.Desired Settlement: Internet Local Listings has only refunded one payment of $199.00. They refuse to refund the other payments of $400.00 and another $100.00 we had to pay a third party to take care of this issue for them.
There is absolutely no reason as to why these charges should not be refunded according to the contract. Should Internet Local Listings choose to keep the money and not refund us legal action will be taken.
Internet Local Listings did not accurately represent our company on the Internet and therefore adversely affected business. The damages and desired outcome mentioned here do not include any potential loss and therefore, we urge Internet Local Listings to refund the money before incurring any costs in small claims court.
Internet Local Listings did not even publish any work until July 1st, 2015 -- after 2 payments of $199.00.
The way Internet Local Listings represented themselves is an illegal felony.
