I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

until I receive my refund check I will not consider this issue resolved.  my real problem here is that there excuse is just that, an excuse and unsurprisingly, it is just another excuse among all the others that have been listed here only in the past 5 months.  how many excuses can they be allowed before someone takes more serious action against this company.   I firmly believe that this company is intentionally withholding these monies from everyone in order to continue to make additional interest from it.  interest on a $100.00 isn't much but on a $100,000.00 can be considerable and obviously this company makes it a practice to withhold or never send refunds back.  until I receive the cleared check in my hand I will not consider the matter closed.

They offered trips that I could book myself for 5 dollars more on one trip and 2.50 more for another trip. Not prime weeks or 1 week before or after a holiday. Promptly cashed my $100 check. Still waiting for refund after 8 weeks. Seriously? No explanation why it would possibly take 8 weeks! I would NEVER deal with any company even associated with them.

Beware of IIG Promotions. This company will tell you that you will receive free 2 nights hotel stay, round trip airfare for two, and a 3-4 day cruise for two if you listen to their travel service presentation. After the presentation you are given a short amount of time to submit all of your requested options. Then you find out you have to send them $200 in a cashiers check to get started. Then If you book any travel within one week in front of or behind a holiday, (a 3 week period out of the 4 in the month) they will charge you a fee. Mine was $253.00 because it was a week after Memorial Day. Yes, I paid it. When I arrived at the hotel I was charged double because they(some company IIG contracted out to, oh yes, and gave my credit card number to) booked me for two rooms and two nights each. I spent 2 hours on the phone with my credit card company to get this resolved. Yes, the first night at the hotel was spent with the credit card company. IIG had given my credit card to a company without my authorization, who gave it to expedia. Expedia then did the booking, which they could not help me because they were not the original people who booked this.....Don't do business with this company. You will pay in the end, and I mean a lot more than your time listening to the demo of the company. Run!

people each year and I'm sorry that we cannot work with you on this further.  In this issue, we are very clear about our products and how they work.  There is nothing provided by us that would indicate this otherwise.  This is included in your terms and conditions which you signed off on when you registered with us.  We understand that most people do not read the terms and this is why we post this item about airfare not being included throughout the process, as some people have not been clearly informed about this from the marketing company at times.  We will dig into this miscommunication further as it is unacceptable.Please accept our sincerest apologies for not following up or providing this information to you upon request as this is something that could and should have been easily discussed with you on the phone when you called in.  I listened to the call and although there was not the direct question asked, the agent surely understood your situation and could have better handled this situation for you.  In this, we have suspended the agent handling your case and will refund your deposit post haste.  Please note, that our accounting office will process this as soon as possible, but under our policy of communicating refunds we report that it will take up to 6 weeks.  Feel free to contact us on the status of your refund within the next week as there should be an update from our accounting office by then to ensure you are taken care of.  If you have any questions or need any assistance, please contact our offices at ###-###-####.  The best times to call us are in the afternoons and toward the end of the week. DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH IIG. Their brochure is worded so that you believe if you pay the taxes on you 3 day 2 night trip the cost of the room is covered. We followed the guidelines in the brochure to the letter, not making any changes. When IIG sent an email about the trip there were room charges that appeared to be full rates and they stated that this was a discounted travel offer. They stated, "If your travel request is outside of the terms and conditions of your promotional offer then a surcharge has been applied to the governmental taxes/fees and service fees charged by our travel agency." They use this statement freely. After dealing with them on four occasions I as for the $50 deposit to be refunded. I was told I would receive an email giving the instructions needed to get the refund. Have to mail a letter and was told that it would take 8 weeks to process.

We can see where skepticism would exist for anything “free”.  We do not advertise our promotional offers and nowhere in our documentation do we state that our offers are “free”.  We do not want to misrepresent our products so we do state in the documentation provided to each customer, which no one should rely upon the representations of anyone outside our organization as to the specifics of our offers.  We also need to point out that we are a third party company, completely separate from the company that gave the promotional offer to Mrs. [redacted].  We are diligent in providing complete Terms and Conditions at several touch points so that consumers can make well informed, educated decisions about participating in our exciting offers.Further, as per the terms and conditions of the offer, Mrs. [redacted]’s first request happened to be during Labor Day weekend and next request is for Memorial Day weekend which are clearly holiday weekends.  We had also extended their offer due to not having turned in travel request documents previously as well.We will consider this a written form of Mrs. [redacted]s refund request and have sent it to accounting to be processed.  As per all documentation, the refund process can take 6 to 8 weeks from receipt of request.  She should have her $100.00refund in hand by the end of May as per our standard acknowledgement time frame and may receive it sooner.    She can call us at [redacted] if there are any issues.

Dear Ms. [redacted]: We are in receipt of the response filed by Mrs. [redacted]. The [redacted]’s were given different types of offers. She is correct when she states that she did receive this instruction for one of the offers – “A $50 refundable deposit in U.S. dollars, in the form of a check, money order or cashier's check will be required when selecting your preferred dates of travel.” This is in the Terms and Conditions for the Seize the Moment promotional offer, which is for 3 days, 2 night hotel accommodations only. The airfare product’s Terms and Conditions were provided in our previous response, which clearly states that a money order or cashier’s check is the only valid payment method. Our promotional offers, like any promotional offer, does come with restrictions and Terms and Conditions which must be followed in order to take advantage of them. We provide each and every customer with complete instructions with the Terms and Conditions. We returned the deposit for the air product back to the [redacted]’s because they did not follow the Terms and Conditions and instructions provided. In addition, the [redacted]'s submitted dates for the hotel and air offers that overlapped; in essence, they were attempting to use the two offers in conjunction with one another, and per the Terms and Conditions of each offer "This offer is not valid in combination with any other discount or promotional offer, nor is it valid for use with group travel."Thank you again for the opportunity to address Mrs. [redacted]’s response.  Sincerely, [redacted] Customer Relations Manager

party travel fulfillment company.  We have not ever and will not ever market anything of ours as Free.  In the event the company you recieved our promotional offer from did, we would greatly appreciate a copy of any documentation that offers anything "Free".  Our fax number is [redacted].

If he did not like the prices quoted, then I ask why would he pay for it? There are numerous e-mails (between 8/26/14-9/04/14) stating that his deposit is included in his final price. Also, addressing the attached document he provided, this is not a legitimate/original document it is simply a screen shot of his screen. Therefore it is useless. Meaning, he simply went to our website to try and recreate/forge his registration and make it look as though he did not choose an upgrade, when in fact he did. I have attached original Credit Card Authorization and original Travel Request Form which states he did indeed request an Inside Cabin (upgrade). By also signing the Credit Card Authorization he acknowledged that once trip is booked and paid for he cannot receive a refund. With all of this being said I hope he has come to realize that this open complaint needs to be resolved because we have done nothing wrong. We have guided [redacted] and his wife through the whole process. We are only guilty of trying to work with Mr. and Mrs. Young to make sure they are able to travel.We apologize for any inconvenience that this matter may have caused [redacted]. We provided [redacted] with the full and complete Terms and Conditions of the promotional offer that she received. We do this so our clients can make well informed, educated decisions about the exciting

promotional offers they would like to partake in. Our offers, like any other promotional offers, come with restrictions and must be adhered to in order to take advantage of the offer. We precisely state on our documentation that once travel is booked we cannot issue a refund. [redacted] booked her trip on July 14, 2014. She then sent an email on July 18, 2014 wanting to cancel the trip she booked. Per Terms and Conditions a refund will not be sent. We have tried to contact **. Ash several times, but have received no response.  [redacted]’s booking status is complete and she is able to travel. We are waiting on her response so she can redeem her trip.
