Honest Air

Service was great, called them because AC not working I agreed to pay the $85 service call. I have been under a maintenance contract with them for 5 years, when the technician Phil came out he found the drain pipe from the compressor was clogged solid, he cleaned the pipe out and charged me an additional $60 I called to complain because that is what I have been paying them for last 5 years to clean and it's not been done. I spoke with the receptionist at the Englewood office about the charge she stated she would have the office manager call me, that was last Thursday never heard a word from them now that's what I call poor customer service don't use them!!!

Inspection report was done on my house. They failed and want more money from me.
BEWARE!!!!!! Honest Air Conditioning of Venice, inc. is anything but "honest."

Honest air conditioning of Venice came out on 12/9 to do an inspection report on a home I was purchasing. I have called 2x now to discuss a problem they missed upon their inspection. My AC leaks and delivers a minimum of 2 5 gallon buckets filled with water per day. It leaks so badly the ceiling has fallen in. Both times I called the receptionist informed me I didn't actually have an inspection and they just came out to confirm that they work. Upon speaking with the office manager, who was the most useless human being alive, she informed me if I did not wish to pay them $85 to come out for further diagnostics there was no reason to further continue the phonecall. She then told me I had misinformation, as I did have an inspection report. Upon asking what my other options were she told me I could pay $85 or we could hang up. I called for the first time on 2/1 which was well within my 90 days.

So which is it? They clearly don't stand behind their work, and they have 0 customer service skills.

Why would I re-pay them an additional $85 to diagnose a problem they missed the first time around.

Honest Air Conditioning of Venice INC. is an awful company. I highly suggest you go elsewhere. They are crooks and ripped me off heavily.

As usual we've had a great experience with Kyle and Theresa. Communication and scheduling coordination with Theresa were easy and efficient. Kyle's on site work and explanations were, as usual, top notch. He's not pushing anything on me, but explains and points out equipment situations that will need attention with an older system. His appearance and demeanor on site reflect well on Honest Air Conditioning. Kudos to you for employing top notch people.

Received an e-mail from Theresa at Honest Air to remind me to schedule my Preventive Maintenance inspection. I called her and she set up the day and time to fit my schedule. She is always pleasant and informative. She called me the night before the inspection was do to remind me of my appointment.

Had my semi annual maintenance check on Oct. 10 performed by Kyle. He has been here before and always conducts a through inspection. Very pleasant guy and quite informative about Heat Pumps. Put a pound of 410 refrigerant in my system per my request as it was reading a little low.
Friendly tech. Highly recommend him for the future.

Honest Air has more than lived up to expectations with both installing and maintaining our air conditioner. We find all of their employees very professional and knowledgeable. Elvin does our routine maintenance and has been a pleasure to have in our home. He is polite and excellent in explaining what he is doing and the reasoning for doing so. Arranging for our 6 month maintenance checkup was very simple - we received an e-mail notification and called the office and was immediately set up with an appointment which suited us. What we appreciate with Honest personnel is that through the many years that we have been with them is that their technicians are always friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They are always quick, clean and honest. They have always fixed any problem they found, after making sure we agree to their actions. They are also very truthful about the condition of our 11 yr old unit, they do not try and encourage us to buy a new one but do inform us of the exact current condition. We have been happy with Honest's professionalism for many years now and hopefully for years to come. We trust them.
