After further review, the claim does not qualify for coverage as the failure is not due to wear and tear per the terms and conditions of the contract The failure was due to ice damming and the water freezing underneath the shingles causing the failure.Under the not covered section it clearly states failures caused by ice, snow, mud etc are not coverable Thank you

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response If you wish, you may update it before sending it.] Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is UNSATIFACTORY to me There was a Tech that was sent as an second opinion and his recommendation was as follows - " hold the dishwasher door and push as hard as you can on the soap dispenser door until it stays closed" - this is using "excessive force" and the company has a strict policy on "excessive force" being used on appliancesI informed the Tech they sent that I was not ok with this recommendation for I will break the soap dispenser door and the hinges on the dishwasher door in time using such forceAnd the response back from him was " that is what I am recommending and the dishwasher is not broke just use some force".I tried to cancel my policy and HSA has informed that my policy start date was 3/7/but I did not purchase the policy until 3/23/and they can not explain where the 3/7/date came from nor will explain how they are coming up with I have had days of policy coverage to dateNo matter how you look at it there is no way I've had days of coverage and they will not refund the correct amount of my refundThe refund dept states amount as $but it should be $The customer service rep was not friendly at all about it and hung up on me Regards, [redacted]

I spoke with a rep from HSA home warranty late last week to try and get the status of the heat pump unitAfter waiting on hold for a spell, I was informed it had been delivered to the technician company, which was confirmed after calling the tech companySo that is a winI'm still displeased with the whole ordeal though and how much longer it took to get the unit than what they saidHad this happened in the summer and I'd needed the air conditioning, I'd have been in an uncooled house for about weeks instead of the 3-business days they said when I was first informed that they'd be replacing the unitTheir lack of ability to effectively track shipments to the companies they use was very frustratingThey need to be better is the bottom line.Thanks!

Security of America (“HSA”) is in receipt of your letter advising of the above referenced complaint. Your letter has been forwarded to me for review and response. HSA has authorized Sneed Electrical & Appliance Service to replace a faulty lower oven relay board. The service contractor was unable to locate the replacement part and has requested that AHS order the replacement part necessary to complete the covered repair. Section F-9 of the HSA plan states that secondary damage, consequential damage or any damage caused by or resulting from the failure or malfunction of covered or non-covered “Component Parts”. Any damage resulting from the actual repair or replacement itself. Conditions beyond our control including delays in obtaining parts, relocation of equipment or labor difficulties including, but not limited to, additional costs associated with repair or replacement of a covered mechanical system due to space restrictions or location of the covered equipment. Any damage alleged to be caused directly or indirectly by the services or the timeliness of the services provided by us. Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.The complaint was that HSA only had two companies in the metropolitan area approved to make the repair One of which is a pool company that has parts on site and with their repairmen The other ( [redacted] Plumbing) is NOT a pool repair company so they have to order the parts My pool has been down for a week and a half May not seem like a big deal but we found out through this nightmare that HSA does not cover secondary claims So...if we get too much rain and our pool fills up and the liner is ruined, we are responsible for a new liner For example, when the heat goes out this winter and HSA only has one company in the metro area that can fix it...and my pipes burst, the cost to cover any pipes bursting and any damage is on the homeowner This is my complaint And by the way...the motor they are replacing is only $ So if they are willing to offer $622...they are getting ripped off by [redacted] Plumbing Unless they are replacing the entire pump We were told it only needed a motor [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] Regards, [redacted] ***
