The customer did not join a 2-month plan. We do not offer any 2-month plan. She joined a monthly recurring plan.The "annual processing fee" has zero effect on the date the membership was joined. All members are drafted for this as it is THE ONLY fee affiliated with the membership. We do not charge any processing fees for monthly drafts, cancellations, upgrade/downgrade, or freezing. We charge ONE processing fee every May 15th for every member regardless of how long they had the membership. By her having this processing fee on May 15th, it made it so she did not have to pay a cancellation fee. We have the billing authorization form laminated that is presented to the client at the time they join, and it is protocol that they are handed a printed copy once they have signed it electronically when they leave. The device that they sign is an e-pad. That is the only electronic device that our POS system has affiliated with their program. We can not control the way the device is manufactured. We do not intentionally have a "blank signature pad" as it seems to be being portrayed. As a business, it seems very unfair that we take all of the proper steps within our ability to sign customers up and have all of the supporting documentation, yet this customer can say they had a "verbal conversation" with the associate that is completely opposite of the way the membership works? Again, we offer a ton of options so there is something for everyone because the VIP membership isn't for everyone. Some people want short-term packages which would be the auto-expire ones that I mentioned (7, 14, or 30 day passes) and once they run out they can purchase more if needed. "VIP Pricing" is for recurring clients which is why we give them a discounted monthly rate. We have proved the way our pricing and membership works.

I was not told that there needed to be a billing cycle before I could cancel. I even told the girl who waited on us that we only wanted tanning for 2 months. She did not inform me that we needed to go through a billing cycle. You are saying that I could not cancel until after going through a billing cycle and I need to give 30 days notice. The membership began on 4/1/17 and since I need to go through a billing cycle which would be 5/1/17, I actually would not be able to cancel until 6/1/17-based on what you are saying-which would mean I need to join for at least 3 months. Again, I clearly stated that we only wanted 2 months. I would never have considered joining at the rates you quoted in your response and any other rate was not discussed when we signed up. I was not shown and pricing that is supposedly available on the counter. There were 2 girls working, so maybe the 11 x 17 is available on the other girls counter. When I signed the BLANK PAD as instructed by the girl that cashed me out, she just told me to sign, so I assumed I was signing for the 2 months service that I requested. I was not shown what I was signing for. Therefore, I also was unaware that I was agreeing to a $25 processing fee that I was charged after I already cancelled my membership. Again, I was not given any paperwork stating I needed to go to the different location on a weekday. I was told verbally. I was also not informed that I could have done so in writing until AFTER I made the inconvenient 2nd trip to the other location on 5/2/17. An upgrade made absolutely no sense-what purpose would an upgrade serve when I was cancelling a membership because it was no longer going to be used.
