I just had my first checkup after joining Iceberg's service club. What a wonderful experience! They called before arriving (right on time too). The service man, [redacted] was so professional and polite. I can't ever remember having a better service call. He checked my furnace, cleaned it, changed my filter and batteries in my thermostat. He drained and checked my hot water heater too. What a deal ! I didn't owe any money. I feel so good about joining the service club. It is really worth it. I recommend Iceberg One Hour to everyone. They know how to treat their customers,
From telephone to leaving the work area cleaner than when they arrived, great service, great people and the right attitude. I've never been disappointed.

One year ago I had Iceberg One Hour install a furnace and water tank when I had purchased a 1954 home. This house is a cement slab home with porclein heating duct run. There had been an awful odor coming out of the duct run, and after talking with some neighborhood people the duct work was no good. I was recently diagnoised with Hyperosmia (acute heightened sense of smell) which I can smell molds, fungus and mildew which was causing my sinuses to flare up with a skin condition. I called One Hour and due to the furnace that I had bought was one that would not blow upward to have duct run put into the attic. The company discounted me for a furnace that blows upward and had did a very great job of putting the air duct up in the attic.
Once again great service, and I now can breather well again.
To let you know, the old duct run was filled in with cement.
Representatives were very knowledgeable about furnace and air conditioning. Also, did a thorough inspection of heating and cooling systems.
I had just bought a 1954 home, and the first weekend I was here carbon monoxide was being back drafted into the house. I had called a couple of company's to hear that they could not come out due to deer hunting season. When I had called Iceberg about my situation they were out here. The old furnace and hot water tank were tied into one pipe, and when the furnace came on it drew out the carbon monoxide from the water heater. A camera was put into the furnace to find many cracks, and the water heater was on it last run. I purchased a new high effecient furnace and water tank. The furnace I did purchased was in another warehouse, so this company put a temporary furnace in until Monday so that they can install the one I wanted. Throughout this whole procedure they explained and let me see all the cracks that where in the old furnace. I was still having problems and it was the pilot light in the water tank going out. It was negative air pressure that is in the house causing the problem, so they had fixed this too. All the techs that came to this house were professional, courtesy and cleaned up the area that they worked in. There was no pressure in buying the new units.
Great team of professionals at Iceberg's One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning. Started with [redacted]. whom we called to request a furnace check out, [redacted] was very nice, couteous and professional; answered any questions we had over the phone and let us know when technician would be arriving. [redacted]. came out to perform the furnace check out and tune up. The furnace did have issues and [redacted]. took the time to explain what they were, answer any questions and because they were significant enough clearly explained what the options were. [redacted] called supervisor [redacted]. to come out to help us through the options and answered any questions we had. The best solution turned up to be a new furnace and [redacted]. made sure the new furnace would be properly sized for the home. [redacted] was professional, very helpful and explain what the next steps would be. 2 days later [redacted] E. arrived to install our new furnace and [redacted] was friendly, courteous, explained details on the new furnace and answered any questions we had. Just have to say that was a great experience and super team!
3rd visit from this company, nothing but outstanding service both from the phone agent and the technician.
[redacted] and [redacted] installed my furnace/ac combo. Given the location of my furnace unit, the installation was extremely difficult. They were very friendly and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. I would recommend this duo to anyone. Unfortunately, [redacted] will be relocating and will be a great loss to Iceberg. From the salesman to the finished installation, I felt that we were taken care of and they did their best to make us feel important.

I just want to say that One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning always does a very professional job and the technicians are very knowledgeable and very personable. I always feel like I am there #1 customer. I would recommend their service without any hesitations.
Review: I purchased a tumbler from Harbor Freight and purchased their extended service contract. I called the local store and asked if they had a replacement they said they did and all I had to do was come in with the receipt and the unit and they would replace it. I drove 20 minutes to the store to find out that they didn't have them they told me to go across town to the other store or come back the next day as they had them coming in. I drove a half hour across town to the other store to be told they don't have them. I went back to the designated store and they said they can't order a replacement, they can't hold one when it comes it, they said they are first come first serve. I spoke to the manager who said she can't do anything other than tell me to come in every tuesday morning when they first open and see if they have gotten them on the truck; other than that she was completely unwilling to do anything.Desired Settlement: They need to honor their contract and get a replacement unit to me ASAP.

Review: I bought a tool box from harbor freight in madison. I had a coupon for 25% off and they said I couldn't use it because my tool box was an open boxed item. There's two things wrong with this one. My tool box was in a box and two. There's nothing in the store that's technically in a box of there saying my tool box was an open boxed item. To me this is false adverstiment!Desired Settlement: If you take the price of the tool box which is $200.44 minus the the 25% I would like a refund of $50.11

I have read the complaint. In order to address this further please provide proof of purchase. The 25% coupons exclude the toolboxes and this would be the normal reason why it wasn't applied. The fine print language specifies,

Review: Purchased a trailer to tow behind our vehicle. Store personnel signed title without a notarized signature. Tried to license trailer and department of motor vehicles refused, said title needs a notarized signature to be valid. We returned to store, gave the title back to manager and were told that they would get title notarized and return it to us. We still have the receipt, with vin numbers and we have now assembled the trailer purchased 9/30/2015. We have called almost daily and we keep getting excuses from manager. Today we were told by a manager, "I don't have an answer for you" Then gave our phone number to yet another manager. To my knowledge, it is not legal to sell a trailer without a valid title. I don't understand why this is such a problem.Desired Settlement: We would like a valid title, or a replacement trailer (the same trailer) that has a valid title, or, last resort, a full refund upon return of this unused trailer.

Review: Purchased extended in-store replacement warranty for $72 (2-yr) to replace one that was used after the generator I bought died shortly after three months. I was told that no receipt need be kept since all information was on the computer (and, indeed, I didn't need one to get the initial replacement. A year later, the generator died and on calling about the replacement, I was told there was no record on the extended warranty. I was asked if I had the receipt and I told them of course not, that's why I decided to buy the extended warranty. I explained that it was on their computer and the manager told me, "oh, that was the old system". Basically, they took my money but didn't record the extension - basically stealing it.Desired Settlement: I need a new generator ASAP (today!) so will have to go buy one so a replacement at this point is N/A. The $72 must be returned but the good will I had formerly for Harbor Freight cannot be replaced.

In regards to the complaint from [redacted], these are my findings:
The replacement plan that he purchased for the generator was used. The generator that he has is the “one time replacement” that the plan provided. [redacted] was under the impression that the 2 yr replacement plan covered an unlimited replacement of the generator for the 2 yr duration. Which is not the case. The plan covers a one time replacement of the product covering the 2 yr time period. In order for the replaced product to be covered after the one time replacement he would have to purchase another plan.
I have reached out and contacted [redacted] and apologized for the misunderstanding and my intent to resolve this matter. I spoke to [redacted] and told him I will refund him the $72.00 when ever he has an opportunity to visit the store.

Is entirely incorrect as I purchased a second plan for $72 when I received the replacement generator. I was under no false impression. They took my money for the second plan and somehow it didn't get registered. However, the store manager has agreed to refund the $72 so even though I reject this letter, this has been resolved.
