Like I said before everything is spelled out the first payment was made at delivery, all the monies are accounted for, and the sales tax is included in the payment of $601. What are you specifically looking for?

I'm sorry that this happened I will get that check for $130 out to you.

All the money that we received was accounted for. We applied for an abatement from the state of RI, if we receive this we will refund it to her.

It has been noted in the file and the customer will not receive anymore correspondences from Grieco Honda ever again.

I have been in touch with Mr. [redacted] and I will handle his concerns.

Tell us why here...Please note that we have filed for an a claim of refund for sales tax from the state of RI for Ms. [redacted], and that money will go to her if granted by the state of RI.  She signed the blue sales tax form that is required for all deals for registration in RI as well as all the paperwork with a RI address to include the bank contract.  If she lived in Colorado and wanted this car registered in Colorado we would have needed that address on all paperwork.  Please note that she had a car registered in RI previously, a copy of that registration is also attached.  We have send copies of the attached checks showing that all monies collected for registration have been paid out, and the refund is due her from the state of RI, not Metro.   She is also obligated to pay an additional tax when registering in the state of Colorado, that we did not collect for, and she did pay when the registration was processed in Colorado. We did not make up the RI address, nor the insurance card attached, this is all information provided by the customer.

I am checking in to this and will get back to you with an answer.

This is insult upon injury. This is not a payoff or a conditional payoff. You failed within your service process and scam my money. You need to refund my money, issue a formal apology, and then we can talk. Since you insist on stating I put negative posting all over social media and only interested in bad publicity, I will do it this week and contact my friends at WPRI 12 Eyewitness news. I will begin this Thursday, May 25, 2017 because you refuse to stop and do the right thing.

[I have had numerous conversations with [redacted] Honda directly, so there was never a need nor a request for anyone from Grieco Honda "to speak on my behalf". I was told on multiple occasions by [redacted] Honda representative that the car was classified as "formerly daily rental" by Grieco Honda, not by manufacturer. It is clear from multiple evidence that the car was previously used and abused. Both [redacted] Honda and Grieco Honda repeatedly refused to provide a written response to my complaint and/or written explanation of their findings - in fact, both entities repeatedly shifted the responsibility for such action to the other party. I have never refused a meeting with Honda representative, but have requested from Grieco Honda representative to provide a document (in writing) stating what the proposed resolution is, in advance of the meeting. Grieco Honda representative has, again, refused to produce such a document (e-mail, letter, etc.).

 Is this a joke? After two months of not doing your job, completely ignoring the written obligations and lying to your customer you simply inform me that the registration will be finally mailed? Why so suddenly? Did it happen, by any chance, because I wrote a complaint to the Attorney General office and other consumer protection institutions?During the last two months, different employees of this dealership reassured me so many times that the registration "will be mailed", "already was mailed" and so on, that, firstly, I have the full right not to trust this response. Secondly, at this point you owe me $130 for the registration transfer which was not completed on time + $20 fee for the copy of the registration I had to get from the RI DMV. And, lastly, I want a formal apology letter signed by Mr. [redacted] and Mr. [redacted] to be mailed into my name.As you can see, these are not extreme demands: I am not asking neither to be reimbursed for the time wasted for unanswered phone calls and coming to Grieco in person, nor for any explanation of why such employees as the above-names salesperson and some others are still holding their positions at that dealership.

There is some confusion on the part of the customer on this one. When a vehicle is leased you pay a month ahead, so when [redacted] left our dealership her first payment was made, she had 35 payments left which will reflect on her contract. I'm really not sure what she is talking about or looking for....

She came up with $1500 up front, here is a breakdown.1st payment 601.78Registration 110.00Doc fee 200Cash cap reduction 535.38Tax on cash cap reduction 33.46Reg tax 19.38This totals $1500Also, I'm unsure what she is talking about for Mass sales tax on a lease the sales tax is included in the monthly payment. I would love to help out this customer, but I don't believe my staff has done anything wrong.[redacted]General Manager
