I would not recommend this company at all. I would have rather moved myself after this experience. I found the damaged several items, including a TV. The reimbursement for damages is based on weight in some cases. Think about that when you move expensive items that don't weight a lot. The also estimate when they deliver your items how long it will take to unload everything. Regardless of they end early, you are you charged for the estimated. I attempted to dispute this and they even accepted the fact that the team got done earlier that what was estimated. There was even proof of building cameras when they arrived and left and still I was not refunded the amount I was overcharged. It's another shady Miami company.
We confirmed the start and finish time with our men and signed paperwork. A proper refund was issued and reimbursement for the minor damage was also issued. Once again, Good Greek Moving and Storage stepped up and handled all issues in a satisfactory manner for our customer.
Work that was contracted was not completed and credit card charged for more than auth. Price gouged for gas cost e.g. $335 for driving truck 1.2 miles
On 6/19/19, I spoke with *** the owner of Good Greek moving and scheduled a move for 7/5/19 which then had to be changed to 7/8/19 which he agreed upon. I was told during his sales pitch and as seen on their commercials that ALL furniture and personal items would be blanketed and wrapped for free as a courtesy to customers. In addition, I was sent an email quoting a price of $179 per hour with a minimum of 3 hours and after 8 hours, the price would go to $269 per hour over 8 hours as overtime. I asked if I had to remove any clothing from the dressers and I was told that I did not have to remove any clothing or items from the furniture.
On 7/8/2019, Good Greek moving sent 4 men to my home and a smaller truck than had been anticipated. I questioned the mover about the size of the truck and I was told that he rented the truck from enterpriise rental? The men that they sent were not capable of completing the job. One mover was an elderly gentlemen who was 71 years old and unable to lift the furniture. Another mover told me he couldn't lift furniture because he recently had surgery to remove his appendix. The movers proceeded to tell me that the furniture was too heavy and they would have a hard time moving the furniture. During the move, I called "***" 3 times to inform him that the movers were struggling and I was fearful that they were damaging my furniture. Each time I spoke with ***, he put me on hold and told me that he would speak to his logistics team and get back to me. The movers were unable to move all of my belongings, they worked from 9:30am until 6pm and they did NOT reassemble my furniture. They damaged many items of furniture and broke 5 glass sconces from my chandalier, they broke a dresser leg off of the dresser, chipped the dresser, scraped the finish off of the headboard, chipped my dining room table and gouged my brand new bamboo floors. The evening of the move, I spoke with a man named "Andres" about the total and disputed his math as it did not add up to the quoted price. I authorized him verbally and in writing to only charge $2014.50 as they had already charged my card $100 the week before. However, he charged me $2464.28??? The move was never completed and I had to rent a U-Haul the next day to move my own furniture that they left at my previous address.
I am seeking a refund for the incomplete move, the cost that I paid to rent another truck and payment of damages to furniture and belongings.

I sure wish that my move was so easy after showing up two days late for pickup, the outsourced movers that Good Greek hired didn't wrap ANY of my furniture, including my mattress, besides some duck tape and blankets. Even worse, the driver didn't take proper inventory, so I wasn't provided with an inventory list. Upon delivery, I had to help identify what was in fact mine (I am missing items) and the majority of my furniture is damaged (including my mattress that I can't even sleep on). The lack of empathy and customer support is incredibly disappointing as I am a repeat customer who had a fantastic previous experience. Their response? Fill out a claim form and we will get back to you. Meanwhile, I do not have a mattress to sleep on, missing items, and damaged/broken furniture yet they still demanded payment in full. Shame on you Greek Moving and Storage . I expected more from you or at least what you promised and advertised.
Ashley J's. claim form was received and processed. A few mistakes happened but in the end Good Greek Moving and Storage stepped up and made Ms. J. completely satisfied.
Everything from scheduling my move to the way my furniture was damaged, rude unprofessional movers, 4 days later don't have my sofa. False advertising
I initially contacted Good Greek Moving and Storage June 7 2019, to handle my move to a new residence, June 27th, and was told it would be no problem to schedule. They asked for $100 deposit by credit card, which I gave, and assured me my furniture would be wrapped and protected for no additional charge (even so states in the advertising), which also turned out to be false. I called them a few times to get an estimate of the time they would arrive at my home to load the truck. They said they won't know until 24 hours before. They did call me June 26, 2019, and said I would be the second move of the day, so it would be sometime in the afternoon and I would be contacted 1 hour before the truck would arrive. June 27, 2019, by 1:30 in the afternoon, I still had not heard anything, so I called them. They put me on hold twice and then came back saying the job they are doing now is taking longer than they expected, and they would let me know when they were on their way to me. When it was 3:30 and I had not heard anything, I called them back, and was again put on hold and shuffled around from person to person. I was already concerned, as this is not a way to handle a customer who is waiting to move. Also, the condo to which I was moving, does not allow moves after about 6 p.m. At this point I was already in trouble. They could not reschedule the move because they are "so busy". Finally, after several more frantic calls to them, they arrived at 7:30 p.m. to begin loading the truck. I asked if they could load the truck and deliver the next day, in view of the late hour, and was told for $650 dollars for overnight storage!! They knew I had no choice but to go ahead. It took 3 men, 4 hours, to load the truck, complaining and playing around the whole time, which I wound up paying for, because the rate is hourly. I was sick watching the way they handled my furniture, and marred the walls of the home I was leaving. They kept telling me to stop worrying; of course they had not a care of the situation. They could barely communicate with me, as all 3 were English deficient. At 11:30 p.m. they were done loading the truck, but left behind a rolled up carpet that they didn't feel like taking. I now have to pay someone else to remove that. They showed up at my new condo just past midnight. Reminder that this is not allowed and besides that, who in their right mind would move in to anywhere in the middle of the night?? I pleaded with them to at least be quiet, which they purposely were not. I was physically sick and beyond exhausted with this whole situation. At 3 a.m., they informed me they are taking my sofa with them and would deliver tomorrow between 9-10 a.m., because they are too tired to handle it now. So many things went through my head, at that point. I was afraid I might never see that sofa again, and now 4 days later (July 1st) I haven't. I had to pay them by credit card, before they would begin unloading the truck, $1794.37. The charge was put thru immediately. I was given no receipt, and no corroboration that they even had my sofa; in other words, not a leg to stand on. Just for spite, they kept beeping the truck horn @3 a.m. on the way out of the complex. June 28, after several attempts to speak with a representative at Good Greek, I reached Shane, who says they took the sofa off of the truck and have it in a warehouse. He says he has been trying to get someone to deliver it to me, but they are so busy. This is obviously not a priority for them. I cannot believe that a company can do business in this manner, and would be surprised if they ever have repeat customers. Other than getting my sofa back, I feel that monetary compensation is not only warranted, but deserved, as I was overcharged and now have to pay to remove the carpet as described above, and my 4 year old washer & dryer are both scratched and dented. I have never been treated so poorly as a customer.
Number one, this complaint should be available for others to see, when looking for recommendations on a moving company, so they stay as far away as possible from this one. Number two, I would like the company to see this complaint so they realize they disrespected the wrong person; I will not be quiet about this experience. Number three: I want my sofa delivered at my convenience in perfect condition, and monetary compensation for the additional charges, and overcharges I have paid for their service.
Please fill out the attached claim form and make sure you've listed all damages prior to submitting back to us because only one claim form may be filed. Please return directly to ***@greekmoving.com for processing. I apologize for any damage and inconvenience.

They are missing the point of the complaint. It is not solely about the damage to my belongings, but the fact that I was overcharged, and treated poorly from all representatives as well as the 3 movers. That was fully documented in my original complaint. To reiterate, not only did the move take place until 3 a.m., which is not allowed in the condo to which I moved, but they were purposely wasting time, sitting around and making noise at that hour of the "morning". The rate is charged based on an hourly fee. I don't feel that I should have to pay for them sitting around and complaining how tired they were. Also, I was charged for the packing, which is clearly stated on advertising, is "free of charge". Then, they held on to my sofa because they didn't have the time to deliver it, for 6 days (July 3) when the move was June 27th). They are totally disregarding how poorly this entire transaction was handled and that there should be some concession to the customer. The damage to my things is a whole different issue.
We received the claim form and we sent the customer a settlement offer for exactly what she was requesting ($1,000.00 refund). Upon receipt of the signed settlement agreement, the customer will be reimbursed.
In order to put this harrowing experience behind me,I agreed to, and have received settlement, from the business. While both my belongings and I have scars and reminders of this incident, I chose to move on. If the actual move had been handled in the same way as the resolution, this entire situation could have been avoided.
Thank you, Revdex.com, for initiating the resolve.

On May 29th only 1/2 of our items were picked up. On June 4th after numerous phone calls the remainder were picked up. No date for delivery still.
There has been no communication, only vague answers on the remainder of our items (which is prohibiting us from moving forward in our new home with our belongings). We paid the full amount at the end of the delivery of the first 1/2 and still do not have confirmation of final delivery. Many items were damaged in first shipment. The lies about when 2nd batch would be picked up continued from 5/29 - 6/4 (which was the closing date on our home in Wayland). We have spoken to *** and *** and still no resolution. We are being held hostage by this company.
We want the remainder of or belongings delivered ASAP. What was supposed to be a "great moving experience" has turned into a nightmare. We were given a quote, a week before we moved we alerted them we had less furniture and told them the exact number of boxes. We were picked up at 5:30PM with little room left on the truck they drove. We took the remainder of our items into the garage to vacate our premises and it took 6 days for them to get another truck to us. There were repeated stories of where the truck was (or wasn't) breakdown, gas cards not working, etc. We had to contact our attorney who was ready to file a claim against them when they did finally arrive the evening of June 4th. They advertise 2 - 6 days delivery and obviously we have gone past that delivery date.
All goods have been delivered at this time.
I have heard nothing. Since I have filed this complaint - several items - totaling near $2000 have never been delivered and even though my husband drove to Palm Beach - he got no resolution other than to sit in a waiting room for 5 hours. They even refused to accept our claim on the premises "no one is in the office!"

Attached, is a claim form that has yet to be completed and returned to our office. The move was done at an hourly rate and charged accordingly.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
They never contacted me to resolve the issue at all. When I contacted them on what was and had transpired on April 30, 2019, The only response from the Manager of Operations (Zack) as I previously stated, he denied it and was prepared to defend themselves in court.
After witnessing my wife going through full withdraws due to the theft of her prescription medication (some controlled narcotics) and filling a police report on April 30, 2019, I thought my wife was going to die through the process. Not to mention the emotional, physical and mental duress it put us both under.
This also caused us a series of un planed events, due to the excessive money This has caused us, hotel room bills, food & beverage bills, doctor bills, and replacement medication costs.
The events that where caused by this: an eviction notice (due to the money allotted for June's rent, spent in the above mentioned, phone service cut off due to not having the funds to pay (for same reason) and WIFI Comcast, cut off for the same reason.
This recent events caused my wife to go into a severe mental breakdown over the thought of being homeless and becoming Baker Acted over her mental demise.
We sent the customer a claim form and it's never been returned to us. Upon receipt, we will process his claim.
I was charged and additional $159 dollars when I had already Paid 681.00. they overcharged me and will not return my money.
was overcharged by company for moving services and they refuse to return my money.
i want the $159.00 that was not part of the contract returned to my account. As the guy on the phone said my card wouldn't be charged and it was only to hold the truck so nobody else booked it.
The $159.00 deposit charged was applied toward the move cost. Start time 9:00am and finish time 1:00pm. 4 hours labor plus one hour travel time. Total hours 5 x $159 per hour = $795.00. Packing materials used $95.00. Courtesy discount -$50.00. Total $840.00. Deposit collected was $159.00. Balance collected on move day was $681.00. Customer was never told the credit card wouldn't be charged. We always charge a deposit and then apply the deposit to the move cost. Furthermore, customer contracted for a two man crew and we send a three man crew at no additional cost. Finally, we waived the 15% fuel/tax surcharge which was a $126.00 savings.
From the moment we met with Richie at our home for the guaranteed estimate, we knew we were in good hands. Was Greek the least expensive quote we received? No, but the quality, professionalism, and peace of mind was well worth every penny. The closing on our house was pushed back a week and with one short call to Richie our moving date was changed.
When Alex and his exceptional crew showed up the morning of the move, they were friendly and very professional. They respected our property, moved everything with care. Packed our TV and pictures perfectly. In 2 and a half hours had out 2nd floor condo and storage unit on the road to our new home.
Upon arrival at our new home (250 miles away) Alex and his crew unloaded everything with the same care and professionalism as when the loaded. Everything was put in it's place and arrived intact and unharmed.
We highly recommend Greek Moving & Storage and will be advising all of our family and friends who are in need of a moving service to consider no one else.

Good Greek did a partial move for me from SC to NY state. I was very pleased with all aspects of the move. Before the move, they answered my phone calls and replied to emails promptly. You actually get a person answering the phone! I gave a list of furniture to be moved along with pictures. The quote for the move was exactly the amount charged. No surprise add-ons. The movers arrived exactly when I was told they would. They were efficient and professional although communication at times was a bit challenging for all parties due to language issues. My furniture was treated well...blanketed and taped. It was held in place in the truck with straps. I had to give advance authorization on my credit card for the last 50% of the charge. I was worried about this. I should not have been. After safe delivery of furniture (again exactly within the time I was told and delivered directly from the truck), I received a call asking if I gave permission to charge the last 50%. (I was not able to be at the delivery site). I would give this company 10 stars if possible.
Thank you for the great review. Another satisfied customer. Good Greek Moving and Storage...Your Superhero Movers.
What can I say, I was in a motorcycle accident just prior to our move so I wasn't able to help my wife pack, I called them to explain what had happened and was told not to worry if my wife didn't get it all done then they could help her to finish and get everything moved. So now I'm out of the hospital and at my old house and there is still enough stuff that I'm gonna have to rent a 15' uhaul to finish moving myself! When I called I was told it was our fault for not making sure everything was ready and not making them do their job? Now in my opinion, if I hire someone to do a job I expect the job to get done I shouldn't have to stand over them forcing them to do what I'm paying them to do. They came highly recommended so I trusted them to do a job in my absence and now I'm having to do the job myself anyway! I guess it's true what they say... if you want something done right you have to do it yourself.
All items we were contracted to move were moved. Our men also took additional items that weren't on the original Estimate and didn't charge him anything extra. Our men did a walk through prior to leaving the residence and our men were told everything was taken. If he'd like to hire us again, we would love to help him move the rest of the goods for a nominal fee.
Alex and his crew were very professional and did an excellent job protecting our furniture
Thank you for the positive review. I'll make sure to pass along your accolades to our men. Good Greek Moving and Storage...Your Superhero Movers!
I specifically told this companies sales person that I had $1500 to use for moving. He assured me that it would be done for that amount. Total=$3200!!
I contacted Good Greek Moving about moving my wife and I from our house that we sold in Boca Raton, Florida to our new house in North Palm Beach, Florida. *** the sales rep assured me that our move could be done for $1500 because I told him that is all I had to spend. I wanted a representative from Good Greek Moving to come to my house and give us an exact price just like they advertise on the radio. He said it wasn't necessary this is a standard move for them and will be done for $1500. He never mentioned that they were going to charge me another $1300 to bring our stuff to our new house. Once they have your things they take full advantage. When the guys finally came to pickup our things at 5:30 pm many hours late with no apology they had a different overtime rate on their contract and I had to go along with it because our house was sold and our things had to be out of there that night. *** also said that they charge $100 for a storage unit for a month. Our things were stored for two days and they charged us $400. This was never mentioned or explained to me. He actually said he would try to knock the storage off our bill. Also even though they do tell you that there is a %15 gas charge they don't say for pickup and delivery. The 100 miles that they drove to move us didn't cost the $500 in gas that they charged us. This company is running a scam because they have you once they have your things in their possession. Their Yelp reviews prove what I am saying because everyone on yelp has the same complaints. I voiced my problems with the many secret added charges to the SALESMAN *** who said let this whole move play out and I will take care of you. He told me to call him to take care of my problems with this move and he had left the office already and has never called or written me about this.
I want a $400 refund for this terrible experience and to at least show me that they are a company that is concerned about it's reputation and they aren't just out to rip off the public. This amount won't get me to my original amount that I had to spend but at least it will give me a few dollars back and willstop me from having to pursue this further and not stopping until I get a much larger amount of my bill back.
We never guarantee our prices over the phone. We gave Mr. an hourly rate and charged accordingly. When Mr. moved into our storage his move turned into two moves because we have to load, unload, and reload and unload again. So, if *** gave him a price of $1500 for a move without storage it makes sense that his total cost doubled because of the storage and the two moves. However, in an effort to settle this matter quickly and amicably, we're willing to refund Mr. $500.00. If Mr. agrees, please have him call our office and speak to ***.
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
We accepted and received the companies offer of $500. They are wrong in saying we changed the move into two moves. That was the plan all along. I would recommend that everyone has someone come out and give an exact price in a signed contract.
Unprofessional, poorly packed, and overcharged.
I cannot believe the level of unprofessional service I received from this company. Not only did they break one of my priceless belongings without apologizing or telling me how to get reimbursed for it (something I had to call the company for more information about), they were 45 minutes late (I was the first appointment of the day), literally threw things into boxes without any care (many of our belongings were crushed and broken), and then the company tried to charge me tons of hidden fees. I specifically asked about additional fees prior to booking the job, so I was shocked when they showed me the bill and it was literally twice as much as expected. They also tried to charge me for 45 additional minutes of work AFTER they had finished the job and left. The movers put my belongings in huge boxes, one thing haphazardly thrown in on top of another, with no regard to the fragile items. The only room that was packed semi-well was the kitchen.
We are seeking a 40% refund from the company, as many of our belongings were crushed and broken due to their poor packin, in addition to reimbursement for our broken plate.
Good Greek Moving helped me move from the city and they really did an awesome job. Moving our couch into the new spot was a very difficult feat, requiring them to remove the front door, two sliding glass doors and lift the couch one story to the upstairs balcony. I also booked them on short notice and they showed up exactly when they said they would. I would use them again for sure and I have had very bad experiences with other movers.
Thank you for the positive review. Good Greek Moving and Storage is your one stop for "The Best Move Ever" from your "Superhero Movers"!
Great experience overall. The guys were efficient, polite, and fast. I really liked the teamwork between the movers. They communicated very well and seemed supportive of each other. The cost of the move was under the estimate which was great; the hourly rate is reasonable and was less expensive than other movers. The director of sales was also very nice, professional and helpful with all of our questions.
Thank you for the positive review. Another satisfied customer proving Good Greek Moving and Storage are your "Super Hero Movers"!
One word - Amazing. I've had some bad experiences with movers before, and was little weary of doing it again. But this company is the friendliest, promptest and most professional company I've ever seen. These folk could give everyone else a lesson in how to run a service business right. I scoured online for the five starts movers, and this one came in the first page. We moved from a three bedroom house. I know we had a lot of stuff so we requested a packing service as well. We received a quote from their office within few minutes - a flat rate quote for full packing service and moving service. What a great concept- one price for the entire move without hidden charges. The movers arrived promptly- at 9AM, and start to work right away, even so they packed and moved really fast - the time was not issues since it was a flat rate quote. The movers were very professional, friendly polite and knowledge, they used blankets on every piece and even crate our family pictures. The move went very smoothly and fast.
Thank you for the great review and feedback. Another satisfied customer that proves Good Greek Moving and Storage is your Superhero Movers.
I have nothing but positive things to say about Good Greek. We moved a 3 bedroom, 1 bath apartment. From the very beginning, They were responsive and professional. They came on time for a free estimate, and were very courteous. Moving day was amazing. They showed up 10 minutes early, and brought 6 guys. When I asked about this, I was assured there would be no extra charge, and there wasn't. They were extremely careful with all of our things, and wrapped all our furniture. They were also fast. Nothing was broken or missing, and they unwrapped everything for us. They also had free wardrobe boxes for us to use. If we ever move again, we will definitely be using them.
Thank you for the positive review. Another satisfied customer that had the "Best Move Ever" with Good Greek Moving and Storage... Your Superhero Movers!
We have used them to move us twice and this last great move-experience inspired us to write a review as they were super professional and pleasant to work with from start to finish and highly motivated to exceed our expectations as we told him that our first go was an average experience with some very minor issues but good enough to give them another go. The scheduler told us that we had an A-team of movers. He checked in before the move, the day of, and after our move to make sure all went well and we very much appreciated his friendly communications and desire to make sure that all went smoothly, which it did. The moving team called when on the way to our place and arrived early. The team was all very friendly and they hustled. We moved to a place with no elevator and three flights of stairs and they just chugged away while still being careful not to damage the walls or the items moved. It was truly a grunt-worthy job but they always maintained a positive, professional attitude, even while moving a heavy, oversized wardrobe around a tight stairwell bend, under a low overhang. We were really impressed and would definitely come back to them if we need to move again.
Thank you for your continued business and positive review. Further proof that Good Greek Moving and Storage are "Your Superhero Movers"!
They immediately took charge, and organized a seamless and efficient plan to get our items moved from three different locations to our office. It was good to see that they were willing to hire a mover who was deaf. Even so, he did a fabulous job, along with the other mover, both being directed by the leader. This crew went out of their way to ensure that everything was done to our satisfaction. There is no doubtthis is the moving company to use.
Thank you for the positive feedback. More proof that "Best Move Ever" isn't just our slogan it is how we do business daily. Good Greek Moving and Storage...Your Superhero Movers!
