Review: We never had a pest problem but a door to door salesman came to our door and I decided to sign up for pest control service as a preventative. They came out for service and bugs started appearing everywhere. I called and they came out again. Same thing happened 3 months later. They had to keep coming out after their service. After seeing bugs I called to cancel my service as we had a problem that didn't exist before they started treatment. A friend familiar with the industry said some companies put something in their solution to attract bugs so the company has to come out more and makes more money. I have no proof that they did this. I called to cancel and they refused to let me cancel without a $143 cancellation fee. I explained that their service wasn't working and I shouldn't be held liable. Since then they cancelled our service, charged the fee and won't return calls. On my last call the person I spoke with (Steve) said that the owner wouldn't likely call me back because he isn't interested in hearing customer complaints.Desired Settlement: I'd like the $143 cancellation fee refunded and for them to never come to our home again.
