The company denied my claim because they didn’t want to replace the two sections of my floor. The fridge roller is supposed to turn freely, not make scratches.
I recommend specifically requesting that this company does not deliver your Home Depot appliance.
Team 2 never showed up, marking the check complete incorrectly, wasting my day.
Team 3 fixed a leak, but as I'd later find out, should've checked everything else about the install - and they told me I was missing the bracket hardware needed to finish the install, but I could use the machine.
Teams 4 & 5 were thwarted by problems getting new hardware: first it wasn't sent to me, then I only received 1/3 of what I needed. I ended up buying it myself to hire a friend. Unfortunately, before that could happen, the power stopped working, so I called again.
Team 6 came and labeled the machine defective, so two more weeks passed until 4/9, when dishwasher no. 2 arrived. One of these men didn't wear a mask as required. Getting this scheduled required a lot of arguing because it had been more than 30 days even though the installation was never complete, and I was told if it couldn't be resolved after 4/9 I would have to find another vendor.
Team 7 wasn't sure they could pull out no. 1, it was so badly put into the cabinet, they said, but managed... and then discovered significant damage to the cabinetry caused by a drain leak. They said the drain, electric, placement, and everything about the installation was wrong. This is more than 2 months after the first installation attempt and five subsequent checks. I currently have no dishwasher installed until the cabinetry claim is investigated (submitted Friday 4/9 and as of the morning of 4/14 and a followup call/email, no one managing the claim has contacted me).
As a result, I can't use the hot water in my sink because there's no supply line connected. I can't use my microwave because I"m instructed to leave the fuses off to prevent problems. I obviously can't use a dishwasher, and my kitchen is a wreck.
This is unacceptable and has taken 2.5 months and a lot of time off and phone calls and waiting. I have been extremely patient for 2 months and need this fixed now. I don't trust this company to install anything else, and so I expect someone to make the cabinetry claim right, and provide compensation for the vacation time, inconvenience, and problems I've experienced.
Company has not send check for damage on removal of dishwasher.
Dishwasher removed on 6/30/20. Damage to counter top. Company issued a $75 voucher. Not received as of 8/20. Numerous calls placed, no resolution, no escalation, no call backs. Company admits they owe the money. Warehouse (where check is issued) does not answer calls from Cust Svc call center. No manager is available. Amount is not large, and does not begin to cover damage, but they do owe it. Unable to get name or phone number for company management. Company tried at one point to push this off to the mfgr of new equip, who told them no, rightfully so, since it had nothing to do with new dishwasher. Advised them today that I would file a Revdex.com complaint and a complaint with Home Depot who contracted them for delivery.
I want the $75 damage refund sent with confirmation that it has been issued and mailed.
I apologize that you have not received this voucher. I have submitted for a check to be issued through our company for $75.
The response is satisfactory. Will be interesting to see if the check actually arrives.
Thank you for your help in this matter, you got a response, when I could get none.
