1) They use different names .
“Linn star transfer, inc” –
“Forward Final Mile.”
Please HOME DEPOT.
LG or any company thinking to hire this company, please don’t do it. Try to find other delivery company.
They scheduled 3 times the delivery and never showed up or call to cancel.
2) BAD CUSTOMER SUPPORT-
The customer service is not helpful.
They have not communications with the drivers or the warehouse.
When you call the customer service is just to heard .
“I understand. I will send one email to the warehouse and call you back” .
And they never call.
In My case
1) They received my refrigerator , oven and dishwasher from LG on 29th of June 2022 . Today is the 09th. And I still no clue when I’m going to receive the Appliences.
2) The Scheduled on JULY 7th .
From 11- 3 PM. They didn’t show up or call to cancel. I lost the entire day of work for nothing .
3) They scheduled for Friday from 11-3 PM .
And also they didn’t show up or call to cancel.
I lost again the entire day of work for nothing .
4) They rescheduled to delivery Saturday. 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
No delivery, no calls no nothing .
BUT that does not explain the terrible and rude customer service. This company has a COMPLETE lack of care and courtesy when it comes to dealing with customers. I am reaching out to GE and cancelling both our appliance orders unless they can assure me they will NOT be delivered by Forward Mile.
I give them a F.
The refrigerator was delivered by Forward Final Mile on 01-05-2022 and dropped off in the middle of my kitchen. While I was clearing out the old refrigerator the drivers left without saying a word. They did not install the door handles, did not even leave the water line I paid for, did not move my current refrigerator that I paid to have moved, or anything. They just left. The refrigerator even has a deep scratch on it.
I was on the phone all afternoon and I finally received a call from the delivery company stating they could not come out for a few days. This is absolutely unacceptable. Now I have a disassembled refrigerator in the middle of the kitchen floor in my small kitchen and my old refrigerator here, too.
The company came out on 01-07-2022, without calling me ahead of time, like they told me they would. They even showed earlier than the time slot they gave me. My son had to leave work to run home and meet them. Thankfully, he works close by and had a roommate to let them in.
He found the two man team to be terribly rude. He asked why they left on Wednesday without saying anything and one told him they aren't waiting around 15 minutes for him to unload the old refrigerator. My son told him that was what the 15 minute delivery notification window was for but they did not call him.
When moving the old refrigerator downstairs, they removed the door handles and took the front door of the house off to get it out. They caused damage to the old refrigerator and the door frame of his new house door (custom door installed less than a year ago). When they were leaving he mentioned the damage and the guy said, "That's the risk you take having us move it." He said I PAID to have the old one moved. They didn't care and just left, including leaving the trash in the middle of his kitchen floor.
The pictures attached show the damage to door and my old refrigerator. RF9 was the way they left it on 01-05-22.
Because they did not call me the date before to confirm the service, I called them con Monday January 03 and they say that the service was set up for Wed January 05, 2022! That's was not what they said when the they called be the week before! So, I asked to talk to the manager and she said that she cannot find the manager and she will send an email to him to call me. Obviously, he never called me! So, I wait until Wed January 05 and they DID NOT COME either. Never called me to give me an excuse.! So definitely, DO NOT used this company for delivery or installation!
I had a delivery for a dishwasher, fridge, and microwave. Microwave was installed with no problems. Their fridge installation pinched the water line and I had to reinstall it myself. I can deal with little things like that but not a good start.
The real issue came with the dishwasher install. The installers said there was not enough space for the washer to fit and that I would have to take some of the floor out. They left without reconnecting the previous dishwasher and even forgot to leave the dishwasher kit that was part of the order. After taking a good chunk of my floor out, low and behold, I find out that I can EASILY remove the previous dishwasher, even if the floor wasn't taken out.
I rescheduled my install, I figured I would let them do it since they would also pick up my old unit. The driver calls me 30 minutes before he is supposed to arrive and leaves a voicemail. Thirty minutes later, he calls me and I miss his call and immediately call him back twice and text, and no answer. Then my calls start going to voicemail. I took the day off of work to be home for the install.
Customer service is a completely other beast as well. I don't know if they have CS rep shortage, since all calls take at least 30-60 minutes to even be answered. Anyway, I called and finally got someone on the phone and explained my situation. She told me that she would reach out to the driver and placed me on hold. After 30 minutes of being on hold, they hung up on me without saying anything. I called them again and got a different person. They told me they tried to reach out to the driver and weren't able to reach him and that my install was marked "reschedule". I asked them to refund the install and haul-away but they said that "ONLY" Home Depot can do this.
I don't know how such a disorganized business still runs. If you decide to get something installed from Home Depot ask them who their delivery service is. If it's Forward Final Mile, save yourself the headache and shop somewhere else. I definitely won't be buying appliances from Home Depot again as long as this company is on their payroll.
Steven Stowers (compliance manager) came to my home to inspect door. As we spoke he became very angry and began to yell calling me Racist at the top of his voice. This community is very very small. 4500 people I was afraid because of his size and level of anger, my ambulatory Wife was terrified. I had to have a locksmith because we were terrified because of the damage could be problem. He stated that if he had to come back he would have to charge me again. I agreed to wait until Sedgewick inspected and install the dead bolt. The cold air is coming thru the edges of door.
$$$$$$$$$ In his report he stated that there was NO damage. I would like to ask if you could have another rep come and see what we are going thru. Mr. Steven Stowers submitted a false report to your company. He is quite intimidating. As he drove away he yelled "I will fix your door"! Taunting me as he sped away.
