Florida State Filing Corporate

SCAM! I did not pay, but made me waste time searching them online. DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY TO THEM.

Just opened my business in Florida and Certificate Filing Service sent a form asking for payment.
THIS IS A SCAM.
They will put in VERY small print that the form is a "voluntary request form".
DON'T SEND YOUR MONEY TO THEM.

I got an official looking paper saying I need a Florida Certificate of Status. This may be needed to get loans. They are charging me $61.25. Then I see in small print that they are not a government agency. I did not send it in.

Received a letter 1 week after filing my LLC with SunBiz, from: Certificate Filing Service, asking for $68.42
It looks official at first glance and they do pull your doc numbers from Sunbiz.
But I guess he did not pay attention to my company name, LOL.
We did a full profile on this gentleman and will be publicizing it on several web sites. If you would like a copy e-maild to you just ask us it's free.

My fault for not reading the Information closely enough, and forgetting that the fee for a copy of Certificate of Status (which I have yet to receive from CFS) through the state is $5, not $68.42. It wasn't until I received another mailing from Corporate Filing Services requesting $155 for the Annual Report Filing that I realized both were scams. FL AG needs to look into this and shut them down. They provide no service for the Fees they are charging.

So glad I did a search on them and found out the truth about their scam. I had already filled out the paperwork and had a check ready when I saw the fine print "not a government agency" which made me curious. SCAM!
