Using fraudulent practice of sales and Marketing
I received a mail from Entek Environmental technologies promising me to deliver $100 gift card if I agree for a water treatment demo. The person who visited my house was rude and threatened me. He forced me to buy product and after 1.30 hrs he finally agreed to leave. This company is using a very scary marketing strategy, entering people house, threatening and forcefully entering private spaces inside house even after telling them not to do so. Please make sure that this company doesn't threaten anyone and help me to get my gift card as promised.
Please follow good marketing practices and deliver your promise. Please provide my $100 gift card.
First of all I apologize to Mr. if he felt threatened in any way! I can assure you that was not the intention. The representative involved is in no way an intimidating person. As far as forcing Mr. to buing anything... he did not. This presentation was done on 8/25/20 (2 days ago) and his gift card request has already been processed to go out in the USPS mail 8/28/20 (tomorrow). I do not see any fraud in the facts other than Mr. claiming to buy something.

I accept the response provided by genesis Entech. I was provided 100$ gift card and accept the apology.
Gift card promised but not delivered
I moved into mt new home on June 11th and received a postcard offering me a $100.00 gift card if I would agree to a water quality demonstration from Entek Environmental Technologies. I agreed to the appointment. Two days later the representative arrived and did the demonstration that took over three hours. When finished, I told him that as I had just moved in and was not sure of my budget, and did not know what I could afford, that I would not agree to a purchase at that time. The salesperson got very hostile, and kept telling me that I would be putting my family at great risk by drinking and using the city water. I was a utility inspector in my home state of Maryland, so I had done a water quality test when I did my home inspection prior to buying my home. So I knew that the statement about having unsafe water was untrue. It then took me an additional 30 minutes to get this gentleman to leave my home. In the end I told him that this treatment was not helping his case in selling me ANYTHING. The price for the system was quoted as $6,995.00 and that financing was available.
Three weeks went bye and I had still not received my gift card. I called and spoke to a lady in the gift card department. She assured me that it was a clerical error and that it would be sent out right away. On Friday July 31st I again called back and spoke to a different lady who set up an appointment on Saturday August 1st to have someone deliver my gift card.
On August 1st, a gentleman named Nick arrived at 10am telling me that he knew nothing of my gift card, and that he was told to come and give me a water demonstration. I told him that I had already had my demonstration and was only interested in receiving my gift card as promised. He told me that had he known, he would have dug it up and brought it along, but he did not have it with him at present. He then proceeded to try to sell me the water equipment, and have it installed the same day. If I did they would bring the gift certificate with them when they did the installation. I declined, and he then told me that he would give me a ultra special rate of $3,995.00, and a payment of just $50.00 per month until it was paid off. No mention of any interest. I again declined, and he left. To the current date 8/3/2020 I have yet to receive my promised gift card. This company I do not believe has any intention of ever giving me the gift card they promised, and looking at all of the other complaints filed here. They seem to do this all the time.
I would like the company to provide the gift certificate that they owe me for the demonstration of theirs that I did.
I apologize for the delay. It will go out in today's mail.
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I have heard this three times, so I will not be surprised if it fails to arrive.
DO NOT LET THIS COMPANY DO A PRESENTATION IN YOUR HOME! They spend two hours of your life on this presentation and you will never receive this gift card that is promised!
I apologize for the delay. A call to our office would have expedited the process and avoided the need to involve the Revdex.com.
A call was made to your office. Still no gift card.
This is the worst company in the world the customer service is very rude! Very disrespectful and they do not go fully over the terms and conditions the guy told me that there is no penalty to cancel and I can cancel at any time. I am a single mother of 4 little boys and ran into some unexpected medical issues with my son. And I called to cancel. I haven't even made a first payment yet and they will not cancel. I am going to now have to talk with my lawyer and take it to court which I have no time for. Also the water turns my furniture white and it's very very hard to clean off I would never recommend this this company to anyone besides they lied in advertisement as well they said they are Revdex.com a credited and A rating they are not Revdex.com a credited and a false B rating. This is absolutely the worst company and even after I get this horrible system out my new home that I worked hard for to provide for my children I will tell all my friends and make it go viral that they are a horrible horrible company. No payments will ever be made to this horrible company. My sons medical expenses come first and now I have to get new furniture and another contractor to re do my bathroom floors. Thanks a lot for your lies. Oh yea I got hung up on 4 times dourning customer service calls how nice and unprofessional.
Other (requires explanation) I want nothing to do with the system and I want it uninstalled out of my home before more furniture gets messed up and before my children get more sick then what they are. My lawyer will be hearing about this.
First of all I am sorry about your son's medical issues. As for the rest of the complaint... it has no merit. You purchased and Entek water system (not an accredited Revdex.com company), from *** (An A+ accredited Revdex.com company) on 6/22/2020. The system was installed on 6/23/2020 by*** (An A+ accredited Revdex.com company). On 6/26/2020 a representative from*** came out and explained the financing terms and tested the system to make sure it was working and also left a copy of the finance paperwork. A few days later a representative from the finance company called (on a recorded line) and verified the terms and conditions of the financing as well as the system performing. It was not until almost 2 weeks later, on 7/7/2020 did you attempt to cancel, which is well beyond the federal 3 day right to cancel. We did, however, send out a service technician to make sure the system was working properly (it is). I'm not sure what the water is being used for on the furniture, but there is nothing in the water that would turn furniture white or any other color. Perhaps a conversation could have produced a better outcome.
We had a water system installed a few weeks ago and this was a complete scam. They charged us close to 7000 and we were promised the softener, an RO system and soap product subscription that was worth around 2500. We have already received a bill without services being completed. We haven't received the soap product subscription or RO system installation. My husband tried to reach out several times by phone and just gets the run around, email that was given to us on website will not go through. We are looking into getting a lawyer and going to court for a scam. Not to mention from reading other reviews it looks like the price was gauged as we read someone else only paid 4000. What a mess to be dealing with moving to a new area and finances already being tight. We wanted to do this for the health of our family, but we have been completely taken advantage of. Next steps are court and the news, will not be paying for services that were not fulfilled.
Responded to a flier in the mail for free water test and presentation. This was when I bought my home back in May 2019. A woman came, did the presentation and told me if I didn't take the offer the same day, I'd never be able to get it. I didn't like the pushing of the product, so I said no. I filled out the paperwork for $100 target giftcard. It's now June 2020, I still have not received the gift card.
I responded to a postcard for a $100 giftcard. I endured a 2 hour sales pitch, flooding my home, and insults. They never sent me the promised card.
I responded to a postcard from this company that promised $100, no purchase required, if they come to your house and give you a demo. The salesman came and proceeded to give me a two hour demo of their product, which I thought was way too long. During the demo, he flooded the cabinet beneath my sink. He had tried to use a funnel to run the water through his sample hydration system, but the funnel did not fit properly. Rather than stop the test, he continued to try to force it, and ultimately flooded the cabinet and permanently damaged the wood.
Had he been able to use his filter, the demo would have been even longer than two hours. He wanted me to make coffee with his water, and even wanted me to cook with it. It was absolutely ridiculous.
When I declined to purchase the system at that time, he called his boss. His boss instructed him to ask me whether I care about my family's health. I said that I do. His boss then told him to tell me that I obviously do not care about their health, because I am unwilling to pay for them to have clean water. That was very insulting, especially after having wasted two hours of my life and having a soaked cabinet to deal with that had not yet been waterproofed (I moved into the house only a week before this).
My official Revdex.com complaint is that, after all of this, I never received the gift card. The salesman claimed that he was not allowed to carry the cards with him for liability purposes, and said that the company would mail me the card. This presentation was nearly two months ago. I called them three weeks ago to ask where my card was. They made some lame excuse that my address had one letter misspelled for the street name (which I really doubt would cause the letter to not get delivered to me), and said they will send out another card. I have still not received a card.
This is obviously fake marketing, and they clearly do not send out these gift cards, even after taking up hours of your time, ruining your house, and insulting you. This needs to be addressed.
I want them to send me the $100 gift card that they legally owe me.
I apologize for your bad experience and will personally mail the check today.
False advertisement
My girlfriend and I recently moved into a new house. We received multiple flyers for $100 gift cards. We called one of them and it was Entek water treatment systems. We scheduled for someone to come to our house to test our water. The gentleman was really nice and his sales pitch was on par. We initially signed up to have the system installed. After he left we did some research. He had mentioned that Entek was accredited on the Revdex.com with an A+ rating. However, everything we found was either not accredited or the highest we saw was a B+. Also, we were told we would get the $100 gift card regardless of if we actually followed through with the purchase. When we discovered there were already complaints and that it was not accredited, I cancelled the contract. However, we have still not received our gift card and have not been contacted about it at all. I don't like being lied to and it may not have been any fault of the salesman that showed up, but if you aren't accredited, then don't claim in. And if you say there is an incentive (such as a $100 gift card) just for participating in the sales pitch, then follow through with that. We picked this one because it was supposed to be a gift card for *** and we have several projects that that could go towards.
We would like to be sent the promised $100 *** gift card.
I apologize for the delay. We have not been able to process claims as fast as normal over the past few weeks due to the virus. I have personally done and mailed the check. This could have been handled much more efficiently with a call to our office.
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
The complaint was not just for not receiving the promised gift card but for the false claims of being accredited with the Revdex.com. I should not have to call for something that was part of the advertisement. If there is a delay a quick call or email would suffice. If the check has been mailed then that will resolve the issue.
When I replied to the postcard about the gift card, I told them there was some type of existing system that provided alkaline water to drink. Other than that, I was unsure of having any other system in place. They set the appointment, and when the rep arrived, she went into her presentation. About 15-20 minutes in, her test found that the water going through my home was as pure as the water that went through her filter. We then went and found that I already had a system outside that did this. She left rather abruptly after that, with no mention of the gift card. The manager told me today that it says on the postcard they sent me, that "some restrictions apply." That is a complete lie! I have the postcard in front of me and it says no such thing. I replied to their mailing, answered their questions, set the appointment, and set aside time for their rep. Manager refuses to send the gift card as promised. Said I disqualified and that the post card does not state anything about any restrictions. What sketchy business practices! If you promise something, you carry through with it. Very unprofessional and unethical. Add to that the fact that the manager is a bold faced liar. What a complete waste of time!
I responded to a flyer offering a 100$ gift which ENTEK sales pitch followed. The terms of the contract agreed to were not being honored by ENTEK.
I closed on my home on 4/27/2020, on 05/01/2020 I responded to a "welcome to the neighborhood" flyer which was offering me $100. No where on the advertisement did it say that it was from ENTEK or its affiliates. When I called I was told that I had to listen to a 2.5 hour sales pitch to receive the gift card and it would be given to me the same day. They lied. I was also pushed into signing a contract with ENTEK under the guise that it would improve my life and that I was drinking water " with enough chlorine for 3 pools". I expressed that I would pay a cash price if I could have them come back. Paul M the "Product specialist" insisted that a cash deal could not be made as this was a one time offer only. I told him thats fine but lets change the terms so that I have the ability to pay a cash offer minus interest. He indicated that it was 13% interest per year and that the payment of $4400 due in one year included the years worth of interest if paid in full one year from contract date. He expressed that the installation technician would be bringing me my $100 gift card and that the Technician would be following behind him in less than 2 hours. I was told that If I decided to pay off the account that all charges would be included and if I paid before the 1 year mark I could subtract all interest and that there was no prepayment penalty which would bring my cash price to $3828. After waiting all day for the service technician to show up to my home I then received a call from Bill the "Finance Manager" who said that he could not allow the full cash payment to be deferred for 1 year, I said that I requested for 6 months to make a balloon payment but was promised a year. He then offered me a new cash offer with out the product being set up until full payment was received at $3650. I told him that he should send his offer to me in the mail with an attached contact information. I did not however agree to anything except the original purchase agreement. I was also told that instead of a $100 gift card being delivered to me as agreed on same day that instead a check would be mailed to me on 5/8/2020. My issue is that this company offered misleading advertisement, agreed to my cash offer terms and now is attempting to back out of the deal because it does not benefit them. This is not how offer and acceptance works regarding the law of contracts. I am furious that they knowingly took my information including my social security number with the intention of trying to sign me up for a finance contract when I explicitly indicated that I would make a cash offer if they would allow the payment to be made in full within 1 year of contract date.
The company that contacted me was DBA: "ENTEK environmental technologies"
The sales rep indicated that he worked from the authorized dealer named and located at: " Genesis Environmental Technologies" located at 2435 US 19 North, Holiday, Fl 34691.
The purchase agreement showed that they were a authorized dealer of daystar marketing and the company was located at : ***. with a contact number of ***. The website provided was getsolarwater.com
I want them to send me in certified mail the $100 *** gift card or a check payable to "***". In addition I want them to shred any document they have with my name on it through a company like office depot which can give receipt of document shredding taking place. I want them to delete my information and not contact me again or distribute my information to any other person or entity. If my credit was pulled I expect the company to issue a credit correction statement to all credit bureaus indicating that they pulled a report falsely and against my approval as I had indicated that I was only interested in a cash deal.
It was unfortunate that we could not get the customer approved for the finance option he requested. The terms he requested are shown on the attached purchase agreement as well as his signed credit application. I am personally mailing his check today sent vis USPS Express delivery.

WORST investment I have ever made. My system hasn't worked in MONTHS and because their office does not answer the phone or respond to voicemails and has no email capability, I have had ZERO assistance.
The customer service for this company is non-existent.
Their claimed warranty is AWEFUL. Make sure to triple read it before your purchase.
0 Star Rating for this company.
This is a ridiculous review! As one of the owners, I personally responded to and answered the customer's call on my personal cell phone the morning this review was submitted. I also made sure service was scheduled for the following Monday. The customer claimed to not have a number to reach the company, however we have several records of his calls and service being performed. Our phones are answered and voice mails are returned daily. We can also be contacted via email at [email protected] or [email protected]
I sat through a 2 hour demonstration that I was suppose to get a $100 gift card for and never received one.
So I sat through a 2 hour long water demonstration which I was suppose to get a $100 gift card for which I did not receive. Not only that but the guy would not take no for an answer. I said no like 100 times and he kept trying to say pretty much that my wife and I are horrible parents for letting are son bath in our water. He was extremely pushy and would not leave till 8:30 pm.
I just want the gift card that I was promised.
I have personally processed the Gift Card and will make sure it goes out within 24 hours. Feel free to call us next time at 888-843-6835
Never received my 100$ gift card to chick fila. Guy said it would come in a few days now its been weeks. They said I wouldn't have to buy it if I didnt want to and I would still get the gift card. I feel scammed and my time was wasted and I did not get what was promised. Very unsatisfied
I apologize for the delay. The demonstration was only done 2 weeks ago (1 of which was Thanksgiving week) I will personally mail out tomorrow.
I would give them a zero if l could have. The system doesn't work and made my mother sick when she called they told her in sum and substance to bad we installed it and you have to pay. The system was installed less than 30 days. Do yourself a favor stay far away from this company!
As far as we know the system is working properly. We did a follow up visit a week after it was installed and tested the system to verify that it was working properly (it was). After speaking with the customer, they have refused to allow us to come back out and test the system and perform any service necessary to ensure it is working properly. We stand behind our product and make every effort to ensure it works.
