The reason we did not warranty this engine is because it was past warranty when she had called us. This is an order from March 3, 2011

As previously stated I had called your company right away after the trucking company called and stated that could not delivery to my residence as was arranged by your company when order was placed. You have dealt with the trucking company for numerous deliveries as you had stated so you should know if they could or could not delivery. Otherwise you should not offer the service and charge for it. When I called your company stated that they could not just make delivery changes without your approval which they never got. If you had contacted them when I called and found out why all of a sudden they couldn't delivery as promised I would have been able to arrange a better time to meet them. But since I could not and you did nothing to help I was unable to and therefore made the best decision at the time to be able to receive the engine. Your company has done nothing to assist me once my order was placed which in my option is very poor customer service. If you had helped as promised when you had called me we could have ended this a long time ago. I am looking for nothing more than to be reimbursed for the damaged parts that needed to be replaced.
customer was refunded

The Terms and conditions of the Free Warranty clearly state on line 1: Engine warranties are limited to manufacturing defects in the block, heads, pistons, crankshafts, camshafts, rockers, and oil pumps. We do not warranty any attached accessory parts, such as switches, sensors,...
cables, electronics, belts, hoses, water pumps, manifolds, wire harnesses, valve covers, brackets, flywheel etc. Additionally, on line 15: We do not warranty oil leaks/damage on engines or transmissions due to non-replaced seals, gaskets or filters. The Terms and Conditions of the Free Warranty must be read and agreed upon before placing the order and is indicated by selecting the text box as confirmation before moving forward and purchasing the part. Therefore, the claim from the complainant was denied based on these Terms and Conditions. We often see many automotive shops not doing their due diligence before installing a used engine. The warranty can be viewed here: http://engineshopper.com/warranty.php?vid=[redacted]. The yellow tag which we have attached to the engine and have attached here clearly states all gaskets should be inspected and replaced, if needed, and specifically states the Rear Main Seal has to be replaced. We do suggest the complainant pursue this matter with the shop and would be more than happy to assist with this matter if the information provided above does not suffice.

I asked the business to provide to me the information that they said I did not comply with in order to make the warranty valid. This is when a guy who told me his name was Del hung up on me. At the time of purchase I was asked for the mileage of vehicle. Which I provided to them. I was sent nothing else nor received any additional paper work explaining I needed to do additional steps. I would like for them to show me in my paper work where I failed to do what was necessary to have warranty valid. I would not intentionally complete what needed completing to have warranty valid. These people are not making it known to buyers that there is additional steps to validate the warranties.
[redacted] had ordered an engine for a 2003 Hyundai Sonata and it was sent out to her in a timely manner, Her mechanic had called us and stated that she has a 2008 vehicle and asked us if it was the same. So he provided us with the VIN number, and we ran the vin number and it turns out she had...
ordered the wrong year engine and she has a 2008 Sonata and the engine are unfortunately. The price on the 2008 sonata was 2595, she elected to just send it back for a refund. The engine is now back and we have refunded her -25percent and - 2 freights
Mr. [redacted] had ordered an engine from us on September 18, 2014 for a 2001 Saturn 2.2l engine for $1515.00. His credit card had declined several times and would not go through so he had done a wire transfer on September 19, 2014 which was a Friday. He had then constantly called our company after hours and all through the weekend over and over and talked to our answering service who just takes sales calls and do not have any access to any banking information. He kept calling the sales call center and harassed them all day Saturday and and Sunday and the only thing they could tell him is leave a message for the manager [redacted] or call Monday. We have not heard back from him since [redacted] had checked his voice mail Monday morning. In the mean time he needs to be patient, it normally takes 10 to 14 business days to receive your part from us
We do apologize that Mr. [redacted] did not read the warranty before hand, but that is just how the warranty works, it is all on the website and you can review it before making the purchase. Also you have to agree to our terms and conditions at the time of purchase. It is also was approved and regulated by the U.S. Government, if our warranty was that bad or we were doing something wrong, the State or government would not allow us to operate.

I have left several messages with John at that extension. I have called at several different times and never get a response. I feel like I'm getting the run around.

SWE will reimburse the repairer up to $50.00 per hour for the repair of a part or assembly. Therefore, the complainant issued us a receipt for 8 hours Labor: 8 x $50 = $400. We will issue this credit in the next 2 buisness days to the original card used to place...
the order. We apologize for taking so long to close this claim.
There was nothing on the website or in the paperwork that was sent that stated any of the claimed actions needed to be taken place. I can have written documentation from the mechanic shop staying when the engine was put in shown to the company to show that it was put in the vehicle as soon as it was recieved . Revdex.com:

We apologize for the experience you have encountered. A representative will be contacting the customer today to attempt to resolve this matter today. We see no reason why the customer should not receive the full refund as long as we can get the Credit Card dispute nullified in a timely...
manner. We will update after speaking with the customer.
They refuse to take responsibility for shipping the wrong transmission. the trucking Co does not label the freight.
This entire process is a Joke. I would like to know what the Revdex.com plans to do in a case like this. Pls respond.
thank you
Mr. [redacted] had purchased an engine from us for a 2006 Subaru Forester back on January 15, 2015. Mr. [redacted] has complained about miles, however the engine that was repesented to us from our supplier was advertised as having 40,000 miles. We had told Mr. [redacted] he could send the engine back if...
he liked, and we would give him a full refund.
The picture of the engines are just an example of the what the engine will look like coming from us. The Terms and Conditions clearly state there is a 25% restocking fee as stated in our previous reply. The complainant is correct when saying the engine shipped it it had of shipped, the customer would be responsible for the shipping fees to and back as well. We will consider this matter closed as we have done nothing but follow the instructions of the complainant by cancelling the order and the 25% restocking fee was levied under the Terms and Condition of the sale.

I made several phone calls in 2011 regarding this. I was hung up on, I was told I was a liar, and numerous other things. I have up I admit. You people are seriously rediculous to think you can get by with this. I paid cash of my debit card. Big mistake. That motor was out in by a professional as the attorney governor of WI has evidence now of. It leaked within a few months. We didn't realize it.
Can you tell me with all these complaints, what your going to do about my situation or others? The motor lasted about one year. I should have acted quicker. I had lost all my receipt material in a move you people are unethical in every aspect. I'm quite frustrated at his point. Hope this report is seen. Attorney general has all my info now and other peoples as well. So u suggest a 1000$ refund to cover the bogus waranteee and the leaky motor you sold me or I'll persue with AG WI. If you reimburse me, I'll drop my case.
Regards,

Per terms and conditions you agreed to there is a 25% for all cancelled orders.
Mr. [redacted] had ordered a 4.9 engine for a 1996 Ford truck and the correct engine was sent in a timely manner. The engines are the sams and work the same way, except for the the only difference is that the AIR tubes are in different locations. There are no special modifications that need to be made...
engines are the same and work the same way, only difference is the location of the Air emission tubes. It will not make it run differently, it is still the same engine, and it will run the same way the original engine ran. We sell about 5 of these engines on a daily basis and no one else had ever complained about the location of the emission tubes. Mr [redacted] would not listen to us nor could he understand the clear logic of this or comprehend what we were trying to tell him.
