Sean did a great job doing an annual inspection of our HVAC system. He recommended items to be fixed but didn't push. I have been working with DonMar for over 20 years now and have been pleased. When I had to replace our whole HVAQ system a couple of years ago, Don walked me through all of the options and patiently educated me. He even told me when to purchase the system based on a sale by the manufacturer. DonMar calls me every year to schedule my annual inspections, which is convenient. I recommend DonMar to my friends!

Have been a repeat customer since DonMar installed a new Trane heating and cooling system several years ago. The cost was competitive and the installation team was first class. Have contracted for annual seasonal inspections and have had nothing but good experience with the service personnel. Would highly recommend.

We have been fortunate to have the same technician, Mark, service our heating and cooling needs for more than 10 years. He is thoughtful, honest, and always on time. We know we can count on him.

My furnance issue was a diificult situation but Donmar people were excellent.

Donmar has serviced my HVAC unots in two homes since I have owned them. Their service has been superb and their technicians are professional and completely describe the service and repairs they have completed. I totally recommemnd this company without any reservation.

Donmar representative, Jorge M, provided excellent service during our power outage in early March 2017. He quickly diagnosed our hybrid heat issue that was related to the size of the generator we were using. He also gave us a work around until the power came back on. Will continue using this reliable firm.

Donmar provided excellent customer service. The technicians worked hard to install the new unit in our older house properly, which has little space for the heating system and posed challenges for them. Every time their staff comes for a call, the staff explains any issue so that any person with no HVAC experience can understand and answer all questions. The company has been responsive when we called. Based on the positive experience we had so far with this company, it will be for us the first company to call for HVAC needs.

The Donmar service rep/technician (Jorge M.) was very professional, knowledgeable and on time. He arrived the time scheduled, completed the service in a professional manner and left the house with no trace they had been there. Excellent overall experience.

The service provided by Donmar Company was excellent. The technician was knowledgable and honest in his recommendations after completing the equipment checkup.

I needed a gas leak test conducted and seasonable maintenance completed and I requested the service from Donmar Heating and Cooling Inc. This was my first time using the company and they did an excellent job. They provided appointment reminders and then provided a website that showed exactly where the tech was in his route to my location. The tech was very knowledge and professional. I recommend this company for your HVAC needs.

I recently sold my home in VA, and prior to the listing of the home my furnace was experiencing intermittent problems with the system not producing heat.
There is a service indicator panel on the unit that tells you exactly what the issue is. According to the display, my pressure switch was blocked, or needed replacing.
I called Donmar heating and told them exactly this and requested that the pressure switch be replaced.
I had called Donmar after finding them listed on Groupon, and did purchase a Groupon for maintenance and set up that appointment to take place at the same time as the replacement of the pressure switch.
The technician, serviced the unit, but told me that I did not need a new switch. I asked him to replace it anyway, because I was listing the home for sale and wanted no issues. He assured me that I would have none and refused to install the new switch that I asked for. This appointment took place on 11/13/17.
on 12/6/17, my furnace completely shut down. No heat. I went to the unit, and again it indicated that the pressure switch needed replacing. Donmar was called again, and I was very firm in my request to change the pressure switch to a new one. The same technician came out on 12/717 and told me, again, that I did not need a new switch,but that I needed a new motor. This new motor cost me over $800. The pressure switch was never replaced. On 12/11/17, no heat again, same indication on the unit,Donmar was called again,same technician came on 12/12/17, and this time tried to sell me a new thermostat for $600. I was very upset and asked him why he never replaced the pressure switch in the first place, since this what I had been begging him to do all along, and he actually said that the part was on back order. I know for a fact that was not the truth. No part had ever been ordered, and I called him out on it. I demanded that he change the pressure switch, which he did at no charge, and asked him to leave. I feel was taken advantage of by this company. The owner has not responded.

After reviewing the facts in this case, I agree with the homeowner that it is possible that the motor did not need to be replaced. A refund in the amount of $554 has been mailed to Ms. and should arrive on or about 02/06. This amount represents the difference between the pressure switch and draft motor costs. I apologize for not responding earlier to her but simply forgot after the Christmas holiday period.

Our technician Jorge was thorough and performed our bi-annual maintenance check. He also showed me some of the more advanced capabilities of the programmable thermostat which were very helpful.

We have recently moved from Fairfax County to Loudoun County. Donmar serviced my old residence for years and I was totally pleased with their work. I was so happy to see they are in Loudoun County too and Mark (tech from Fairfax) serviced our furnace today at our new location. I love this company and their employees. It is comforting to know your are in excellent hands.

Technician came on time and was communicating with me before he arrived to my property. This company is very professional and if there is a mistake, they correct it right away. Really appreciated their team work.

Technician, Jorge, was on time. He also called and texted ahead that he was on his way. His inspection of my heating system was thorough and he was able to fix a minor problem during the inspection. I was happy that shoe covers were used without my asking as my system is accessible only after walking over my very light colored carpet.

Always receive great customer service with Donmar. Jorge is professional and an excellent troubleshooter.
