I signed up with Delta Auto Protect in June Since then, I've had two major problems with my carDelta has honored their extended auto warranty coverage in a timely mannerI am highly impressed with their professionalism and courtesy

Once again in response to this complaint filed by the consumer with the Revdex.com Delta Auto Protect always performs its services as agreed in the written contract In this instance Delta Auto Protect has attempted to provide consumer service and satisfaction far beyond the terms of the agreement Delta does not process any claim in a capricious or arbitrary manner Fuel contamination, deliberate or not, operator abuse, neglect, continued use and the resulting damages are excluded in the service agreement, and Delta Auto Protect has processed as Consumer Good will the initial claimDelta Auto Protect has received proof of customer's repair of air shocks # [redacted] (1) # [redacted] (2), therefore Delta Auto Protect authorized the replacement of the air ride compressor and labor, this claim is resolved.Thank you,Delta Auto Protect

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I did not click on the link on the first emailHowever, When I spoke to Shawn M [redacted] who had originally sold me the policy, in April 2017, he confirmed that the policy was active and that if there are any claims, the dealership could contact him or ant Customer service RepresentativeI believe there is a binding contract even if I did not electronically sign the documentI had days to cancel the policy with effect from November 8, So did Delta Auto ProtectThe Sales Person, Mr M [redacted] , went over the policy conditions and since I was satisfied, I did not wish to review any further documentationThe company is now looking at a technicality to deny my claimIf any documentation was missing, they had ample time to bring this to my attention prior to March when the policy came into forceI believe I have a binding contract both ways.Regards, [redacted]

On December 4th the Consumer requested a refund which was process accordingly

02/10/ Re: complaint # [redacted] We have received this letter and would like to respond in kindDelta Auto Protect holds a waiting period of days and miles of driving in order for the coverage to become activeAll Delta Auto Protect representatives express this waiting period to all clients at the time of enrolling As per [redacted] ’s complaint on 2/5/the claim was denied under factual basis Our protocol at Delta Auto Protect is for all customers to submit an odometer request upon signup to verify what the client states to us is true and correctThe initial email to provide the proper documentation was immediately sent on 11/23/upon the second attempt to sign up due to the first initial payment being declinedOn another phone call on 11/23/which we have a recording that [redacted] acknowledges that she will send the pictures the following day which were never receivedAdministration repeatedly sent several emails on 11/23/2015, 01/02/2016, 01/03/to for [redacted] provide proper documentation and to sign the coverage that she agrees to the terms and to verify what she said was true and correct, with no response On the date of 02/05/ [redacted] s repair facility called Delta’s claims department stating she needed a new engineThe claim was denied due to [redacted] not sending in proper documentation that she drove the miles and agreed to the termsTherefore there would be no way for Delta to verify if the vehicle entered the coverage in proper working orderWhen asked repeatedly if she can provide proper documentation of her odometer upon sign up [redacted] kept evading the questionTherefore, [redacted] did not enter the coverage under proper terms and was refunded in full for the total amount of $with no fees incurred Here at Delta Auto Protect, we strive to take care of our clients to the fullest extent according to our coverage terms, but we put steps in place to minimize issues in the future Thank You, Administrative Offices at Delta Auto Protect

The initial claim was recorded by [redacted] *** The service provider reported the engine has seizedThe service facility reported probable component failure was timing tensioners or guidesThe service advisor reported the oil was low approxquartThe service advisor requested the engine replacementAt this time the engine was fully assembledDelta advised they would send an independent field inspector to evaluate the vehicles condition The claim filed requires examination for actual component failure and cause of component failureAs per written agreement, the consumer must authorize teardown of the complete engine if needed to determine actual component failureAn independent inspector has been dispatched a second time to examine this vehicle and catastrophic engine failureThe inspector verified metal shavings and debris inside oil pump screen and oil panThe inspector verified metal debris in lower crank caseThe inspector and *** service technician indicated there are engine and oil leaksThe actual component failure has not yet been determinedRemoval of complete engine and teardown is required

Delta Auto Protect's claims personnel are trained to ask for service records on all claims regardless of the failure as per our protocolThis does not in any way delay the process of the claim as the customer stated ‘hold onto the claim for this reason’We also give ‘courtsy’ calls to our customers to inform them as well as answer any questions they might have through the claims processWe feel it is always best to give direct communication with our customers Delta authorized this claim prior to receiving this complaint as well as receiving the service records from the customerThere is also a discrepancy on what the customer said he paidPaid to date is $not $At this point in time the customer was notified and understands Delta Auto Protect's protocols for the future Thank you,Delta Auto Protect

I purchase an auto extended warranty from delta auto protect in April 2019. Payments have been taking out of my account every month. My car broke down on July 12th. I filed a claim on the same day. I had the car towed twice to the dealership, which I was told I needed a new engine. I contacted delta auto protect and was told they will send out an inspector. The inspector came out on July 16, 2019. July 17th, I call delta auto back and was told I needed my car broken completely down , in which they don’t pay for it. I have to pay $1083.00. My car was broken down on July 18th, 2019. I call them the same day to let them know, it has been broken down. No inspector every came back out. I was told because I didn’t sign the contract. I signed the contract and was told an inspector will be sent out. I’ve been calling this company almost every day since July 25th, 2019 about repairs to my vehicle. Every time I call, I get the same script that they are waiting for my car to be broken down to send out an inspector. Well I still had no inspector come do their part. My car has been in the shop for three months now. I’ve been renting cars which is suppose to cover, but not covered and as of October 6, 2019. I’m still waiting on an inspector or my money back.

My vehicle under this warranty should have been already done by now. I have paid my own car engine breakdown, towing and rental fees so far, but delta auto have not done anything they claimed they will do in the contract. This literally false advertisement. All these complaints on this company and nothing is being done, but constantly signing up customers daily to have major issues in the end and horrible and rude customer service representative as well as rude supervisors.

This has been the worst experience I have ever had! I will admit, they have a great sales departmentSo polite, so friendlyThey make you feel so secure, so protectedI felt so confident after talking to our sales rep, that we purchased the highest possible coverageAnd that's where the polite people go away, and the horrible, rude, nasty, and insulting people come inWe took our vehicle in for a weird noise, and turns out the bushings were out on the carCalled Delta and immediately denied the claimWhen I called back to speak to someone to figure out why, and I raised holy hell, they finally approved it and "over nighted" the partsIt took two business days to get the parts, and get thisthey had left one OUT! The shop called the company and they refused to send anotherREFUSEDThe shop owner has been great, worked with us on it, and decided to proceedAfter getting into it, they soon realized the bushings were not coming out and the entire arm needed replacingNothing to worry about right??? Its covered under our warranty, clearly stated in our contract "front control arms"WRONGCalled and yet again Delta did everything and anything to find a loop wholeThey said they wont cover the part due to "assumed" corrosionREALLY??? You don't even have proof and they denied the claim because of an assumption ???? Ron, the "technician" on our account has been rude, insulting, called our mechanic incompetent, and when I got upset with him and asked why he was so rude and being such a jack A...he replied with "keep this up and I will deny your whole claim"Really, a threat ????
This company is a scam! They are con artist who lure you in, take the money, and then find every way out of repairing your vehicleWe were better off saving the money on the warrantyNow we are out warranty cost, AND over $today on repairs they refuse to help withSave your money and time!!!
