Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
It is cometely inaccurate. He failed to mention the vehicles he offered my son had 240,000+ miles on them as well as check engine lights. My son and I never "checked out" the truck. He is 17 and I am a single mother. I would have no clue what to even look for. Bottom line, my son is a minor which makes the bill of sale void. All we want is his money back. That is it. No more, no less. Fair.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

I sold a vehicle to [redacted] on 12/5/16. He and his mother came in. I let them both take the vehicle out alone for a 20 minute test drive. When they arrived at the dealership they immediately came in and said they love the vehicle and want it. I asked and they stated that the loved the vehicle and...

everything checked out just fine so the deal was completed and all paperwork was signed including an as is warranty claim. Within 48 hours mom called me, she isn't even on the paperwork, and said there is a rod knocking in the engine.  I said to bring the vehicle in and let my mechanic check it out. I gave them another demo to drive while that process was happening. The mechanic checked it and said there was a minor rod knocking but it just started and said the car should last another 4-6 years. In return of my offer I offered 2-3 other vehicles that were worth more value than his current truck and the son was ok with that but the mother didn't want to listen to more offers and never once came into the office to discuss other options. She immediately went to Facebook to bad mouth the company instead of coming into the office and discussing all the possible options. A whole week went by. I asked the son to come in to discuss options and he did by himself. He was ok with looking at other vehicles and even mentioned one on the lot. I made him an offer, he went back home and told his mother the offer and she did not want to hear about it. She only wanted his money back even though she wasn't on any of the paperwork. I sent them the title in the mail since they did not want to negotiate. Overall the mom was speaking for the son and the son told me personally that he wished his mother would just stay out of it. Overall the company bent over backwards to help the son out and offer other vehicles that were worth more but mom and son never came in as a group to discuss options.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to respond to the complaint from [redacted]. First let me clarify that Mr. [redacted] is not just a normal customer that purchased products from our website. Mr. [redacted] is one of our exclusive territory dealers that contacted us by phone and purchased...

5 of our products on July 13th, 2015. He also requested that we send him out our dealership agreement with his initial purchase order so that he could read and familiarize himself with the agreement in the event he was satisfied with the product and wanted to become one of our dealers.  After installing and testing the systems on his vehicles and getting satisfactory results, Mr. [redacted] mailed in a signed copy of our dealer contract to lock down an exclusive territory in his area.  (I have enclosed a copy of the signed and dated contract for your review.) Our company policy will not let anyone become a dealer or sign our dealer agreement until they have installed at least one system on their personal vehicle to give them time to familiarize themselves with the systems, and to give them time to look over the agreement to make sure they can abide by all of its terms and condition and the operations therein. It was not until over 2 months later on 10/5/2015 we were contacted by Mr. [redacted], now our active exclusive dealer, for the issue stated in the complaint. We are slightly confused as to what they are stating, as we are in the business of manufacturing a product, and do not know the laws and regulations in the area that they are trying to represent and sell the systems. We are a company who operates all of our business from our website, and who also sells and ships our products all over the world. Because of this, we state very clearly on the site, and in the dealer contract, that it is the users responsibility to check all local laws, regulations, restrictions, etc.. prior to making a purchase of the products. Nowhere on our web site, or in any documentation do we state that the systems contain a California E.O.#, are certified to sell in any specific place, or that the technology has been approved by any agency. This technology is, and always has been listed as a experimental technology. At the bottom of every page on our web site, in our terms and conditions, and on our warranty page the systems are listed as a experimental technology.  While we understand what Mr. [redacted] is stating, and that there are specific regulation in his state or city that may prevent him from installing the systems, never was he provided any type of assurance that  what we are producing was certified in his state, city, or county. In fact we state that because we are unable to know this information, that it is the customers or dealers responsibility to obtain licensing, and or check local laws or restrictions in their area. This information is again explained in the dealer contract which was signed by Mr. [redacted], and returned over 2 months prior to this complaint. The information in his complaint is not accurate, as there is no way that we know the laws in every state, county, city, or country in which our products are purchased. We do not operate out of California, nor do we have any  connection to any regulatory facilities or emissions testing. Mr. [redacted] is stating that we cannot sell systems in California without a E.O.# That information may be true for Mr. [redacted] who is trying to resell the systems, but does not apply to us as the manufacture selling products online. Again it is the dealers or the customers responsibility to work within the specifics of their area, and to verify if there are any regulations preventing the sale or installations of any products. This is going to be true for not only our systems, but any product that any person or business it to sell or install.  We are happy to provide any assistance within our ability to Mr. [redacted] if he is looking to obtain any type of certification in his area, but again it is his responsibility to abide by his local laws and regulations.  In response to the request for refund of the products. Mr. [redacted] was not mislead in any way, and the transaction and information that we provided to him was complete and transparent. We stand behind our products, and our informative and easy to understand website and dealer contract.

Brought a 2006 dually truck on June 3rd used it twice once to go to villa rica ga at end of July used it to go to denver co
Coming back denver colorado the motor went out in it
It's took this long before I could get them to call me back
All Terry the owner said was you have no warranty on it so there is nothing I can do
They don't stand behind their vehicles
I would stay away if all possible
Now we have a 21000.00 dollar Truck that needs a 10000.00 motor that we can't used and still have a 640.00 a month note and a truck that's stuck in denver Colorado and we live in Waynesboro tn
I would understand if we had the truck for awhile and it tore up but we only had it 60 days but it was only driven twice
JUST BEWARE
TERRY DON'T STAND BEHIND HIS VEHICLES
SO IF YOU BUY AND IT BREAKS DON'T EXPECT NO HELP
STAY AWAY IF YOU CAN I WISH I WOULD HAVE

Review: In my I won an auction on [redacted]. It was for a 1998 Jeep Wrangler. The auction ended on a Thursday evening with a $500 deposit due within 48 hours. I called [redacted] from Deals on Wheels to come look at the Jeep that Friday. [redacted] informed me that I could not come look at it as he was going out of town. I reluctantly paid the $500 that Saturday. The ad clearly said very minimal "normal Jeep rust." Finally the next Tuesday I was able to go pick up my Jeep. It was in terrible condition with rust holes the size of softballs all the way through the floorboards on the front and passenger side. I told them I could not buy this Jeep like this and requested my deposit back. They agree that once they sold the Jeep they would return my deposit. I tried contacting [redacted] and [redacted] and they said there was nothing they could do. The following 3 months have consisted of me calling them about 20 times an every time being assured I would get at least some of my deposit back. I have no other place to turn and I really need that $500 back from those crooks. The item was not as described and I have a feel they did not want me seeing the jeep before the 48 window for the deposit.Desired Settlement: I would like at least $400 of my deposit back to cover their [redacted] and [redacted] expenses.

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: I was not given a chance to inspect vehicle before the 48 hour time frame to receive the deposit. After finally getting the chance to see the vehicle I realized why. I noticed rust holes the size of softballs completely through both the driver and passenger floorboards. The online ad specifically said "normal Jeep rust." I highly doubt that that rust holes through the floorboards and being able to see the ground beneath you would be classified as "normal Jeep rust." It has been 4 months since the transaction, it has required numerous phone calls to Deals on Wheels trying to recover some of my deposit. I have given them my home address and have yet to receive any kind of payment. For all of the hassle this has caused me I would appreciate my deposit in full.
