There were four of us that joined at the same time, two of my girlfriends and my mother My mother and I attended more than twice unlike she, "***" states in her letter We all attended numerous times together and then also separately Her computer was not working to register many of the times that we attended so we had to sign a paper stating that we were there If you didn't go for more than a few days someone from the facility would call you and ask why you haven't returned and they continued to call day after day It got to be harassing when they were told that you would not be coming back due to the environment and the pushing of the employees to do more than we were able to do Not just me all four of us
A lot of what *** *** wrote in her letter is lies. She says the other two ladies have used the facility numerous timesThis is not true. The one other lady actually hurt her knee and took over a doctor’s note and she is still being billed monthly. And it is my mother who is the “wellness member” and not billed

We have also offered options to Ms [redacted] to attend an alternate club.Complaint Background Information:[redacted] [redacted] On March 1st, 2017 Ms [redacted] purchased a 12 month Fitness membership at Curves Edmonton West to add strength training to her wellness goals. Ms [redacted] set a goal of attending her strength training 3 times per week. From March 1st to March 15th, Ms [redacted] attended a total of 4 times and missed her Initial appointments. After March 15th, Ms [redacted] did not attend her workouts or respond to missing in attendance calls. It was our understanding that Ms [redacted] was on vacation between March 25th and April 2, 2017 in Hawaii. We resumed following up through missing in attendance calls after April rd.On April 20th we received a call from Curves Corporate that [redacted] had contacted them to attempt to cancel her contract. Ms [redacted] described the situation recorded in her Revdex.com complaint as her reason for cancelling her contract. Curves Corporate indicated to Ms [redacted] that the information would be passed on to the locally owned and operated club and that we would follow up directly with her.On April 20th, I (Tammy G[redacted]) left a voicemail for Ms [redacted] indicating that we received the request to cancel due to her negative experience. I apologized that the presentation of the information about the use of the word rded had landed on her in a negative way. I expressed that we wished to resolve this issue because her strength training was important to her for health reasons. in the voice message I indicated that Mary-Ann, the co-owner, would be on shift that evening between 5:30 pm — 7:30 pm if she would like to speak to her instead of me.On April 24th, [redacted] contacted our club and indicated that she wished to move her membership to Spruce Grove. Mary Ann prepared the paperwork for the transfer and did not take the membership dues on May 1st from Ms [redacted]'s account. Ms [redacted] was instructed to come in and sign the transfer documents or to go to the other club and have the new club initiate the transfer. We are not able to transfer her file without her signature on the transfer form authorizing the sharing of her personal information. On May 2, 2017, Ms [redacted] contacted our club to let us know she decided she did not want to proceed with the transfer and would like to just cancel the membership. I (Tammy G[redacted]) answered that incoming call. I expressed again to Ms [redacted] that I was very sorry that the information communicated to her landed on her In an offensive way and that we would like to resolve the personal issues so that she can continue with her strength training. I reminded her that she came to Curves for health reasons and we want to support her wellness goals and get her back to her strength training.Ms. [redacted] became verbally abusive on a personal level towards me and uttered threats about damaging our business reputation via media, [redacted] and complaints to the Revdex.com if we would not let her out of her contract.Due to the escalating abusive comments being made by Ms [redacted] I respectfully let her know that I was going to end the conversation and hang up the phone. I then hung up the call and followed up with an email to Ms [redacted]. (See attached email)Incident Regarding Use of the R-Word:Ms [redacted] was working out our facility. She was being coached on the correct form on the squat machine when she uttered a statement using the word 'rded' in an unacceptable way. `Ughh, I'm so rded, it takes me a while to get it.' Ms [redacted]'s further comments indicate she was aware of the word that I was referring to. As she moved to the recovery station mat next tothe squat machine, she continued to explain that she uses this word all the time, that she didn't mean to be offensive. Her voice volume increased as she explained this.Due to her volume and repetitive use of the word in her explanation, I noticed the other members starting to pay more attention to Ms [redacted] comments. So I added more information for Ms [redacted] on the negative impacts of using that word in the context she was using it. I said that perhaps she had heard about the yellow card program. A couple of summers ago there was an event with Special Olympics and the Police held in Churchill Square to bring awareness to the yellow card program. The yellow card program is the ability to call a 'yellow card' on someone who is using the R-word. Yellow carding a person allowsthe opportunity to help them become more socially aware of the impact of the use of this word on others. At the time Ms [redacted] did not appear to be overly upset by the discussion. As to the timing of the discussion, our circuit takes a total of 24 minutes, with members changingstations every 30 seconds. Our conversation was not a continuous amount of time, it was interspersed with coaching other members. I recall finishing the end of the conversation with Ms. [redacted] on the Ab/Back machine which would indicate that the entire conversation may have lasted a maximum of 7minutes. At no time did I raise my voice to Ms Coulesan during the discussion or make comments about her on a personal level. I provided her with information to increase her awareness.Desired Settlement:Our first concern remains Ms [redacted]'s wellness goals. Complaint: 1[redacted]I am rejecting this response because: I never saw a sign posted about no refunds, I think I had a reasonable reason asking for one. If the amount for the program was incorrect from the beginning, which she said it was, than I should of...
been given my check back and told it was incorrect and needed to write one for the correct amount. But that did not happen, the owner immediately deposited my check, giving me no options and I was definitely given the wrong amount from the employees. I talked to several other women who were there and they did not hear the conversation that was going on between myself and the owner as it was not loud and we were all in the same room, they only knew I was dissatisfied with the service. Also I never threw the tag at her, I tossed a small plastic tag (1inch by 2 inch) onto her desk, no where near her and at the time there were other members who saw me do that. She definitely puts clients in a position were we have no recourse, it is her way or you can leave as she told me to do, she now has my $96.00 and she can say anything she wants to justify her position.Sincerely,[redacted]
We had Chris do a full remodel on two of our bathrooms - including turning a tub into a walk-in shower. The quality of his work was top-notch as was the quality of the cabinet maker he recommended. The quote he gave us was very reasonable and he stayed on budget. We were so pleased with his work that we recommended him to some friends who needed work done. I know they were very pleased as well. I would highly recommend Christopher Construction to anyone.
This customer was first installed on 5/8/2011 for cable service. He has been late on his payments 29 times. Reveille Broadband did contact him initially and asked him if he would like to be a test customer for our internet service, but we changed our policy and decided we did not...
need any test customers. On 11/30/15, I called him and let him know this, and he was fine with it and told me he wanted to get the internet installed at our regular internet installation price. Sometime during April 2016, we inadvertently mailed him a letter stating Bandwidth Usage Overage charges. He received this letter in error, on April 15, 2016, we credited his account in the amount of $100.80. I received a call from Mr. [redacted] on 4/13/16, he began by complaining about the poor internet service. He was rude and would not let me talk, I did interrupt him and he told me to " Shut up". I tried to continue to explain to him that his service was working fine and that he had used up over 200 gigs. Again he was extremely hostile and screamed at me to "Shut Your Mouth". I politely told him that I did not appreciate his attitude and that I was going to hang up and he could call us back when he could talk to me in a polite manner. I hung up and he began to call back again and again. He left a threatening message on my voice mail that stated the following; "I am going to cancel my service and bring back your fking modem and throw it through your window". As I was alone at the office, I called the Lexington Police Department and the Somerville Police Department to file a complaint. Both police departments contacted him that very day. My husband [redacted], did call him and smoothed things over, he mentioned to [redacted] that he thought he was talking to a high school girl, not the owner. He apologized to my husband for his behavior and they both left the conversation in a good way. We assumed that everything was resolved with this customer but it seems that is not the case. This is the type of customer that will NEVER be happy and is difficult to deal with. In addition, "we do reserve the right to refuse service anyone". Currently he is past due once again for June 2016 services in the amount of $153.98, and the July bill for 143.98 will be due July 1, 2016.
Chris of Christopher Construction did a wonderful job with my upstairs bathroom. I can't say enough on what a beautiful and professional job he did. Chris went the extra mile, making sure everything was done to my satisfaction in a timely manner. I have recommended Chris to my family and friends because I was so very pleased with how this project turned out and because I felt that Chris dealt with me in an honest and fair manner.
I built a home with this builder and it was by far the worst decision I have made. His professionalism was non-existent throughout the whole process. He was very unorganized and often forgot conversations we had. The list of things that went wrong throughout the build or the lies I was told was very long. The prices quoted often changed throughout the build and he was not upfront about these often. Many mistakes happened in the things that were selected and not done to what we discussed. I ended up paying several thousand dollars in overage charges that were due to his misquotes that were nearly 50% more than originally quoted. He is not very well versed with the banking process when it comes to a construction loan and this caused me to pay thousands of dollars I was not expecting. Going into the even more important issues, his overall craftsmanship was below average and very sloppy. I had many items throughout the house that was not professionally done. Sadly, I had to bring many of these items to his attention as he simply did not care about his craftsmanship. When asked to fix these items, he refused and I am still left with multiple issues that I now have to take care of on my own with additional money out of my pocket. I would never recommend this builder to anyone, not even to build something as small as a shed. Overall, every disappointed and now I unfortunately have to live with this decision. I urge you to do more research on this builder as he just joined the Revdex.com in 2015. Don't make the mistake that I made.
We had a very positive experience with Christopher Construction. Christopher completely rebuilt our kitchen, installing all appliances as well as cabinets and new granite countertop. It's gorgeous and I love showing it off. He was very professional and did quality work. I would not hesitate to hire him again for future remodeling projects.
Hired for a bathroom remodel on first floor 10+ years ago. Very meticulous and happy with result. Rehired again 3 1/2 years ago for a second story bathroom remodel.

I had this business remodel my kitchen and bathroom. Both remodels went very smoothly and he did a great job, actually under budget and high quality craftsmanship. The job was done on time and with professionalism. Highly recommended.
I received the follow-up concerns regarding a complaint ID [redacted] originally filed on 8-5-14.
I understand that the mentioned consumer is unhappy with the local Curves facility and the way she feels she was
treated.
She mentions once again that she joined the club at the same time as three of her friends, one being her mother.
If her friends wish to file a complaint with the Revdex.com I will address their concerns but do not feel it is appropriate and
I feel that it violates privacy issues for me to comment on their attendance at Curves or for me to comment on
their financial situations.
As far as her attendance at Curves, she mentions that she came numerous times and that our computer was not
working for her to register and that she signed a paper. Our computer has been working continuously and there
has not been a time since she joined that the computer has been “down”. I do have manual sign in sheets for
customers who forget or misplace their Curves tag to sign in when they arrive. This would not have been
necessary. I did pull out the manual sign-in sheets that I have filed and reviewed them for the months of January,
February and March of 2014. I found her name on only one date, January 8, 2014. At the end of the day, all of
names on the manual sign-in sheet are entered in the computer as was hers. I have no record of her attending
Curves other than the two times, January 8th and January 30th.
We also have a program on our computer system that will give us names of individuals who are “MIA”. We do call
these people periodically to encourage them to come in and use the facilities. We use this system as it was
designed by Curves to document these calls, including the date, the person who called them, the result of the call
and any comments we feel necessary. She was called on only two occasions by myself. The calls were made on
February 26th, 2014 and again on April 9th, 2014. Both times, additional comments were not included.
It is our procedure that when we sign up a new member, they receive a copy of the contract. I cannot say for
certain that she received a copy, but it is the procedure we follow. I did not have a copy of the contract left in the
club that I am aware of. I do have a basket located on the desk area of the club with copies of contracts that
people have left behind, weight and measure forms and other items for members. There is nothing in that basket
for the client.
I did send a copy of the contract to the client after her contact in early August. I did include a sticky note
requesting a written request to cancel. I had told her about the $50 cancellation fee on the phone earlier that day.
At this point, I am not sure what actions the client wants me to take to resolve her concerns. The account has
been cancelled and she is no longer being billed. While she does still owe the club the cancellation fee, I see no
other outstanding issues.
I hope this answers her concerns. Feel free to contact me with any other questions.

Review: I joined curves in February of 2014 and after I joined realized that I would not be able to continue because of health issues. I called to cancel membership and was told first that it would cost me an additional 50 to cancel. Now after the past 7 months of curves deducting 34 a month for membership fees I am told that I need to put it in writing a 30 notice and 50 dollars to cancel. I was never given a written contract when I joined. Plus there were four of us that joined together who also never received a written contract. We all are continuing to be debited from our bank accounts every month even though we asked to be canceled.I would not advise anyone to join this "gym" the space is very small and they are not open convenient hours to work out. The staff follows you around pushing you to do more than you are able to do. So for 6 months they continue to debit my bank account even though I no longer use their facilities. None of us use the facilities anymore.Desired Settlement: I want the membership canceled and a refund of $204.00.
