I started to work with this company and I regret it nowLawrence Y [redacted] was the loan specialistHe told me I needed a minimum credit score of (which I had higher than that)I also went over all my other concerns and he "assured" me that they weren't going to be an issueAt this point I'm feeling optimisticI send him ALL of the documentation he needed in about minutesHe never said he got it or anythingI reached out to him TWICE to ensure he receivedHe finally emailed and said yes, he had gotten it and would look over it that afternoonWell, 4-days pass by and I still haven't heard from himSent him more emails and a phone call and NOTHINGThenI get an email from him that says "I'm sorry I can't approve youYou need to get your score up to a and work on your credit"Mind youHe NEVER said this and he'd been over my credit report with me days before and said it wasn't a problemI'm not sure why he all of a sudden decided he couldn't do anything, but I WILL get to the bottomI don't recommend this company to ANYONE
I like to share a very positive experience with Cross Country Mortgage via Andrew M [redacted] This person single handedly took me thru a refinance - cash out so smoothly in less than three weeks He was very kind and extremely patient with me I actually felt I got too relax with him He is super smart in this area yet very down to earth I really was beginning to feel like he was family And if he had lived in the Chicago area I would have met him
I was relocating to Missouri from ColoradoMy house in Colorado sold very quicklyI needed the to close on my Missouri home in less than a monthSteven K [redacted] and his team at Cross Country Mortgage did in daysThey went above and beyond for my familyGreat experience, will use Steven again in any future endeavors
I worked with Roy S [redacted] at the Mansfield branch and could not be happierHe was wonderful, personable, and kept us in the loopWe couldn't be happier in our new home!
My wife and I were buying a home and we were referred to Cross Country Mortgage by our realtor We had a very good experience and our loan officer Andrew Matkovic did a great job every step of the way
To whom it may concern: I attempted to contact [redacted] numerous timesFirst by phone and then by emailMr Flores did respond to my 2nd email and that is attached Unfortuanately without actually speaking to the customer I could not get a complete picture of what went on when he spoke to a CCM loan officer There could be many reasons he was not able to get the rate requested from the flyerSome of them could include; credit, capasity and colateral If [redacted] would like to contact me so I can discuss the problem in detail I would welcome thatOtherwise there is nothing much more I can do at this time Thank you, [redacted] Manager Crosscountry Mortgage, INc 440- [redacted]
I decided to refinance through Cross Country Mortgage because they offered the best rateAs soon as they got money from me for the appraisal they stopped working on my refinance until the locked rate expiredJames Thamann said what I wanted to hear to get my business, and when he didn't follow through he avoided my phone calls and emails
With a lease ending soon, and a pregnant wife I was unsure of buying a home was going to workI called a few lenders and was pre-approved through a computerWhen I submitted to be approved with Cross Country, I received a phone call with in an hourI spoke with Andrew M., and after expressing my concerns and wants, he assured me that he would have no problem working it out in timeHe also stated he would work with me through out the processAndrew advised me not to start looking at home until he did some things to help my credit score and lock in a good rate with my pre approvalAgainst his wishes, and because I'm impatientI began looking at homes with my wifeAfter looking at several homes, my wife and I found a winnerI kid you not right when my wife and I said we would love to put an offer in on the homeAndrew called (while we were still in the house) and said good news, your approvedWe put the offer in, and was accepted that nightFrom there Andrew and his team at Cross Country knocked out the rest of the process with in days! Cross Country stayed in contact with me the entire time, and let me know what was going onI'm very pleasedI will be recommending them to everyone
Simon T [redacted] is the pro that you want on your team to guide you through the labyrinth that is the home buying and financing process! From the beginning Simon was a wealth of information, helping us to analyze our financing options- telling us for example that if we put down just a little bit more, we could lower our PMI, which credit cards to pay down and to what level for better scoring and termsMoreover, the wealth of knowledge of the industry and the local Real Estate market were extremely helpful to us, as we tried to navigate this process without the help of a traditional realtorMy wife had just received her Real Estate license which was required for her commercial property management job, so we saved half the commission, but we were also a bit lost at times when we ran into peculiar issues or termsSimon was invaluable in helping us navigate the potential issuesFor example, when the Home Inspection came back on the property we were wound up buying, the Seller seemed disinterested in addressing the issues, and pressed us for an offerSimon suggested a Seller's concession, so as to supplement the down payment percentage, researching the allowable parameters for our loan, and then providing us with the critical language that was necessary to ensure we didn't lose out if the closing costs came in under the amount of the concession- a possibility we were unaware ofAs it turned out, the number shocked the buyer into action, so that she repaired the deficiencies, which meant we didn't have to shell out cash for the repairs after closingFinally, Simon had the integrity which I found sorely lacking in the other Mortgage company I was shoppingWhereas the large national loan company promised a slightly better rate, their closing costs and cash to close were somewhat higherIn fact, some of the costs were 'slipped in' to the package, without ever having been mentioned amongst the slew of changes they made along the way, which I found to be downright deceptiveSimon was true to his word all along, and I made my decision when both of their loan packages were comparable based on his integrity and professionalsAs it turned out, Simon's closing costs actually came in a couple of thousand dollars LESS than he had figured, which was the Opposite of the large national company, and a nice surprise! I highly recommend Simon and his company, which by the way is an impressive operation! Living about minutes away, we had occasion to visit Cross Country Mortgage's office, which was about times larger than what I had expectedWe got the nickel tour, and you can tell from the quality of the people, like Simon, that this is a well-run organizationI have every confidence that we will be just as happy with the servicing of this loan! Go with Simon, and you will not be disappointed! Your loan will close, when he says! Michael PS- We were not the only ones impressed by SimonBoth our Insurance agent and the Seller's Real Estate agent had a great deal of respect for Simon and his operation!
