I would recommend another lender, their actions were predatory, and I was left feeling uneasy that I gave any of my personal information to CrossCountry Mortgage Inc My realtor (the wife of my friend) recommended the loan officer, Michael P [redacted] of CrossCountry Mortgage IncThe rates from other lenders offered were similar, plus I liked the indirect personal connection During initial conversations, he insisted that I could “do anything I wanted” to buy more with my credit score, amount down, and current salary, but I wanted to stay within my meansAs we continued with the process, an appraisal was orderedThe lender asked for the usual information, but also a copy of my social security card (despite the fact that I was applying for a conventional loan, not FHA) which gave me pauseI also was receiving emails from a gmail.com account for some of the transactions, or from different company representatives using Michael’s signatureReminders to sign documents were also sen

I called Cross Country Mortgage to explain that someone used my identity to apply for a mortgage through Cross CountryI called several times to get help, no response until January 4, I finally got a hold of MsR***She advised me that she sent me an e-mail stating that I had authorized the credit report to be ran??? I didn't authorize anyone and why would I apply for a mortgage loan when I just started working in April MsR [redacted] also stated that all my personal information was on there!!! Anyone can steal your identity!! I asked her for a copy of my signatures and she never gave that information to meI have the right to know what is going on with my personal information!!! I have always lived in B [redacted] My identity has been stolen!!! I need some assistance to dispute this matter and file a complaint against Cross Country!! This is ridiculous how I can't get help for something I didn't do!!!!
Andrew M [redacted] did an outstanding job from start to finish with securing my loanI will happily and enthusiastically recommend Andy to others that are looking for a mortgage brokerDue to my challenging personal portfolio, he took what turned out to be an obstacle ridden process and successfully navigated me through to a successful conclusion In every single step, he proved to be patient, knowledgeable, friendly, professional and consistently available to me I sincerely thank him for making this whole experience as good as it could be
CrossCountry mortgage has been handling the financing of a mortgage for the buyers of our home in Middleburg, FloridaWe were originally suppose to close on the sale of our home on July 30, The contract was agreed upon and signed by all parties on June 15, At that time the buyers had a pre-qualification letter from CrossCountry Mortgage, Inc., so u assume they were working with crosscountry prior to our contract being final At the beginning of July the loan officer, Victoria D [redacted] indicated via email that the loan was in underwriting and they didn't forsee any issues and we're on track for closing in JulyFast forward to July 27th when the title company received an email stating that they were shooting to close on July 29thThe same day on July 27th we were told the buyers needed to buy points in order to qualify for the loan and the lender was demanding we change the contract to cover the buyers mortgage points to buy the rate downWe refused to change the contract
I closed on a mortgage with CrossCountry Mortgage on 05/25/At that time, I was given payment coupons & was told to use them for the first payments and by the time the 3rd was due, I would know whether CrossCountry would be keeping my loan and servicing it themselves or would be transferring it to another companySince then I have made payments, one for July and one for AugustSince then I have tried to call to ask about the status of my loan and to try and have my mailing address changed because all the correspondence is going to the wrong addressI have been told each time that the loan is in a "temporary holding account" and that the decision whether to keep the loan or transfer it still hasn't been madeI have also been told that there is no way to change my address so until my loan is finalized at CrossCountry, I would have to continue to allow my mail to go to the wrong addressThis is unacceptableThey tell me that my agent should have changed my address pri
Recently I worked with Andrew M [redacted] with Cross Country on a new home loanI will stereo type the typical mortgage banker in my mind is dealing with somebody that is stuffy and condescending when you ask questions to understand or confused with the details, thinking of their bottom line… Working with Andrew was FAR FROM THAT!!!! Not only did he make me feel like a person, he was patient with all three properties that passed his desk for consideration to purchase He explained everything, answered all my questions so I can understand and we also enjoyed conversation about other things besides home mortgages To add a little more customer service, he looked for the best deals, deals that were focused on me and not the mortgager and the record time he turned it around, simply incredible Too bad that on average we only purchase a home every years or so, we should do it more often because working with Andrew was a great experience worth repeating!!!!

In January 2016, we began the 203K refinance loan with Cross Country Mortgage. In the beginning of the process, we were told 203K loans typically take longer than traditional refinance loans. However, it is now June 2016 and we have yet to even get a closing date. Our loan officer, Gus Garcia, has a very difficult time communicating with us. We provided all bank statements, pay stubs, completed the application, provided tax returns, paid appraisal fee, and provided contractor paperwork. We didn't hear anything for 3 weeks. We call, email and text Gus. He never answers the phone. When he responds, it is at least a week later. Constantly, we have to request a loan status. We were told in March that all we needed to do was pay for the 203K loan consultant and he can process our file. That same day we met with the 203K loan consultant and paid him the fee. Once Gus received the paperwork from the 203K consultant, we did not hear from him until the end of April. When we finally got a hold o
I was working with Cross Country Mortgage lender James [redacted] to get my home refinancedHe repeated told me this would not be a problem and pre approved me, nine months later I was told I could not refinance my home, even though I repeatedly was told that I wouldThis culminated in Mr [redacted] trying to give me a subprime loan with predatory ratesI am embarassed to say that his continual sleazy salesmanship blinded me from the fact that I was being taken for a ride that has affected my family's finances in incredibly damaging waysPlease, do not use this business

On May this year I closed on a home in [redacted] **, with CrossCountry Mortgage Incas my mortgage providerDuring the closing process, CrossCountry Mortgage Incfailed to accurately disclose my closing costs, omitting some $8,for summer taxes (my mortgage includes an escrow account with a monthly payment toward property taxes and homeowner's insurance)I was assured by CrossCountry Mortgage Incthat all necessary costs were included at closing and that I would have a fixed monthly payment moving forwardI based my future monthly expenditures on that assurance, trusting that CrossCountry Mortgage Inchad correctly calculated my closing costs and future monthly payments CrossCountry Mortgage Incthen sold my mortgage to [redacted] BankIn August, [redacted] informed me there was a shortfall on my escrow account of around $7,500, as the bank had paid the summer taxes, which should have been included in my closing costs I approached CrossCountry Mortgage Inc and the titl

I want to share a very positive experience I had with Cross Country Mortgage specifically with agent Andrew M [redacted] The loan was handled professionally and with no issuesI must say that this was the fastest I have ever had a loan processed and dealing with Andy was a absolute pleasure
I received a flyer in the mail from Cross Country Mortgage that stated "You're Pre-Approved!" "No minimum score required", etc. When I called, I spoke with Steven C***, and I explained to him the issues I have had with trying to refinance my mortgage. I made very clear that if they could not do the refinance that I did not want them to do a hard hit on my credit because I am trying very hard to get my credit score up. He assured me that they could do the mortgage and asked me to get a letter from my credit union concerning our car loan and asked me to call [redacted] Bank and request a letter from them stating that my payments had been current since October of 2014. He told me that the letter from [redacted] would increase my score into the high 600's and if [redacted] sent a letter it would increase my score to the 700's. ( [redacted] has had some reporting problems with the credit bureaus and my payments were always on time.) I told him I doubted that [redacted] would do that since it wasn't true and he st
