We mailed all the rebate materials around Saturday morning the same week.Around mid-September we received a postcard from Cricket Wireless stating our rebate submission was decline due to "Cricket service was activated outside the valid dates for this offer."We feel this is a mistake by Cricket and that they should honor their rebate offer of $100. Review: I am trying to unlock my phone so that I can take it to AT&T wireless. From the Cricket Wireless Website:https://www.cricketwireless.com/support/apps-and-services/device-unlock/... I meet the following 4 requirements Cricket will unlock my phone. You're a Cricket customer and your account is not canceled.Your device was purchased from Cricket.Your account has at least four (4) months of consecutive paid service using the device you want to unlock.Your device hasn't been reported as lost or stolen.I meet all four of these requirements. I have tried countless attempts to unlock my phone by calling customer support, chatting online, going to a Cricket Store. I get transferred from rep to rep, tech support or special Apple support but ultimately no one can help. I have tried 2 different Cricket retail stores in San Diego. They have charged me for a new sim card and changed me from the legacy Cricket service to the new AIO/Cricket service. They have assured me that if I paid for the sim and changed plans the phone would be unlocked. It has not been unlocked but I have paid for the new services. I believe that part of the FCC approval for AT&T's purchase of Cricket, no additional fees should be charged for switching from the legacy Cricket to the new Cricket. I was charged a fee, but even by paying the fee my phone still remains unlocked.Desired Settlement: I would very much like a knowledgeable Cricket service rep to contact me to assist with unlocking my phone so that I can use it with AT&T wireless. The phone is an Apple 5C GSM phone that is compatible with AT&T wireless. It very plainly says on Cricket's own website that unlocking is possible. I don't think I'm asking for too much.

Re: [redacted]

Revdex.com Complaint No: [redacted]

Cricket Account No: [redacted]

Dear Sir/Madam;

This correspondence is in reference to a

complaint filed by [redacted] regarding a refund request. In his complaint,

Mr. [redacted] states that he purchased two phones and two rate plans with Cricket

on February 27, 2013. Due to the quality of the phones, Mr. [redacted] returned the

devices and was issued a full refund of $596.38 which included the price of

both devices and the service. Mr. [redacted] states that when he checked his bank

account recently, he was charged on March 26, 2013 for $91.42 and again on

April 24, 2013 for $90.00. Mr. [redacted] states that he called customer service to

have the money refunded and was told that this was not possible due to the fact

that the account was set up on automatic bill pay. Mr. [redacted] states that he is

currently unemployed and this amount of money is too much to ignore. Mr. [redacted]

requests a refund of $181.42.

We apologize to Mr. [redacted] for any

inconvenience that he may have experienced due to this matter. Cricket strives

to provide excellent customer service at all times and we regret if that high

standard was not met.

After review of Mr. [redacted]’s account, we

have confirmed that the phones were returned and that Mr. [redacted] was refunded

for the devices and the first month’s service totaling $596.38. Due to an

error, the account was not disconnected after the phones were returned and the

automatic bill pay continued to draft monthly payments from Mr. [redacted]’s bank

account.

Mr. [redacted]’s account with Cricket was

cancelled on May 01, 2013 and the automatic bill pay associated with his

account was cancelled on April 27, 2013. A refund request was submitted on May 02,

2013 for $181.42 and was approved back to Mr. [redacted]’s credit card with a

processing time of 3-5 business days.

We thank Mr. [redacted] for his communication

and we trust that this action resolves his complaint.

Review: I paid my cell phone on 1/9/2014($69.20) online thru Cricket([redacted] Cricket [redacted]). It indicates to that I had to call a phone number ([redacted]) because of an error. I called the number and asked if they received my payment and they said yes. On 1/18, Cricket disconnected my service and told me in order to get my services back on I would have to pay $69.20. I talked with an agent, and told him my story. He told me to call my bank and find out if they authorized the money, and my bank did authorize it. I called Cricket back and told them that the payment was taken out thru [redacted] Cricket [redacted] and I faxed them the bank statement. Cricket([redacted], Daytime Mgr.) connected my services, and said he would complete a form regarding that I did make a payment. Tuesday, 1/21/2014 they disconnected my services again at 5:01 p.m. I went to a Cricket store and told my long story again. They agent went to my account and told me that the bank statement rejected Cricket 4 times as they were trying to take some money from account. I called my bank again and they told me the same story. The bank representative said that the payment was posted on 1/9/2014. Again I called Cricket and gave my long story. They said they would connect my services immediately and they would give me a call. Still waiting on the call.Desired Settlement: I would like an apology for disconnecting my services, and give me a discount on my February payment.

Review: I paid my bill in December 2012. The funds were placed into a FLEX account in which my bill was not paid but, my phone was terminated. I went to the Cricket store on Alabama, Avenue, S.E., Washington, D.C. 20020, to speak to the Store Manager. He said, my funds were placed incorrectly into a FLEX account and that's why my phone was terminated. He made the corrections to the account and restored my service. On April 26th I attempted to pay my bill by phone with no avail. I was told my phone was disconnected since January 2013. I'm currently using the same phone but they have my credit card information in the system in which they have no permission to use. My information should not be readily available. I have a fraud alert on my credit card through the IRS. Lastly, the gentleman I spoke with was very unprofessional, mean and disrespectful. Please help me to remedy this problem as it relates to this complaint. I want my credit card information removed from Cricket System because some could compromise my information. Also, I would like for someone to repremand the Customer Service person I spoke to in the Credit Department.Desired Settlement: 1. Remove my Credit Card Information from their System2. Repremand the Customer Service Employee3. Audit my account

Cricket Account No: [redacted]

Dear Sir/Madam;

This correspondence is in reference to a

complaint filed by [redacted] regarding payment information and customer

service. In her complaint, [redacted] states that in December 2012, she paid

her bill and the payment was incorrectly applied to her FLEX account instead of

her current balance. As a result, her service was interrupted. A store

representative made a correction to the account and her service was restored.

[redacted] also states that on April 26, 2013 she attempted to pay her phone

bill again and was told that her account has been disconnected since January

2013. [redacted] states that she has a fraud alert on her credit card through

the IRS and that Cricket has her credit card information. [redacted] would like

her credit card information removed from Cricket’s billing system due to the

fact that she feels it could be compromised. [redacted] would also like the

representative she spoke with to be coached due to his rude behavior.

We apologize for any inconvenience or poor service [redacted] felt she

received. Cricket strives to provide excellent customer service at all times,

and we regret when that high standard is not met.

[redacted]’s account with Cricket is still active and any information

that is used to pay her bill to Cricket is handled through our billing system,

VESTA. We have contacted VESTA and it has been discovered that there is an

unresolved dispute on her account which has prevented her from making any

payments through that system. On May 1, 2013 we left a voicemail with [redacted] and provided her with VESTA’s contact information (1-866-448-3657) to further discuss the

issue. [redacted]s’ payment information is kept safe and confidential. All

questions regarding credit card and storage of payment information can be

addressed directly to VESTA.

At this time, we do not have the name of the representative that [redacted] states she spoke to that was rude and unprofessional. If [redacted]

would like to provide that information, the matter can be further addressed.

We thank [redacted] for her communication

and we trust that this action resolves her complaint.

Review: We had two cellphones: [redacted] and [redacted]. Cricket sent us an offer to change and get ZTE SMARTPHONES. We did, but they also charged one month payment. We paid by my MASTER CARD. I HAVE THE RECEIPT. Two days before this purchased, Cricket had deducted from my bank a full month payment. When questioned, they said it will show on your bill. It did not for one month. Then on June 25 they deducted a full payment again. That makes three payments for a two month service. After making MANY CALLS THERE WAS NO USE, JUST LIES AFTER LIES AND UNPROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE OF THEIR AGENTS. An Cricket agent filed and gave me case # 14[redacted]. Another agent on the phone gave me another # 14[redacted]. He said someone will call. NO ONE EVER CALLED. They should return the credit due to me $80.00. To top it off they wouldn't refund my $90 of service fees even though I was returning the phone a second time and canceling service because the service wasn't working! What a scam! Review: August 25, 2013 I went to the cricket wireless store on [redacted] ave [redacted] pa [redacted] and purchased a phone from them via an associate by the name of M. [redacted]. Everything seemed promising at first. after the first week I noticed it was not doing everything its supposed to do, so I called customer service and they told me switch the phone out at the store, I went to do so but in the store they denied me the swap telling me it was still early it should start working, I waited another week then went back told them I didn't want the phone anymore because the service was not how it should have been, they first told me I cant do the refund because the manager was not there (the manager was in the back). the next time I went they said I cant do the refund because the Muve Music Pamphlet was not in the box. I called the store numerous times and got not answer. Saturday September 21, 2013 I called and talked to the manager he told me to come in on the following Monday in the morning and he'll do the return; I went in and he was not there. I talked to the associate that was always there. he claimed called the YBUY company that he purchased the phone through and stated they I cant do the return because the papers not in the box. the next day YBUY collections called me asking for a payment I told them I cannot pay anything until I get money and I didn't not agree to a bi-weekly payment. I called the YBUY servicing and they said they did not have a note of him contacting them and that I should have been granted the return. I don't care about getting a refund for the phone I just no longer want it I cannot use it and I don't think I should be required to pay full price for a phone that did not work properly when I made the purchase the phone I purchased from the Criket store on [redacted] ave [redacted] pa [redacted] didn't properly work and I went to get a replacement within the week after I made the purchased. on the phone with customer service they told me get a replacement at the store the denied me the replacement. a week ago I went in to cancel the service and return the phone they would not grant me the return due to the Muve music pamphlet missing and the associate by the name [redacted] gave me the runaround for about 2 weeks telling me he'll give me a replacement, then saying he cannot do my return without the manager present (the manager was there in the back) then claiming he called the company and they cant do the return but when I called the company they never got a note of a call. he sold me the phone through a YBUY service which is charging me 2 different prices but I feel as though I shouldn't have to pay it, I'not saying I shouldn't pay anything but $300 and up dollars is ridiculous to pay for a cricket phone that did not work properly from the beginning.Desired Settlement: I don't want a refund I just don't think I should be paying for a phone that didn't work properly when I purchased it. I'm not saying I shouldn't pay for it at all but the price they are asking for is ridiculous for a phone that doesn't work the way its supposed to. $300 is too much and honestly my job doesn't pay enough to pay that. and when I look online it says $600 is due but my paper receipt say about $300 either way the phone is not worth that much because a lot of features did not work.I dont want a refund I just dont believe I should continue making payment for a phone I cant use.

Review: Cricket Store at [redacted] Miami Beach robbed me. They sold me a [redacted] as if it were 2nd Generation. I'm a current customer since almost a year ago, and I was also charged an Activation fee of $25.00 during the transaction. They charged it like if I were a new customer, which I'm not. The phone price for a Moto G 1st Gen at the store, as shown in the shelves was $79.99, but I was charged $149.99, supposedly because the one I was purchasing was 2nd Gen. I was able to check the IMEI at the manufacturer website (www.motorola.com), and they confirmed that the phone actually is a 1st Gen. But the experience gets even worse, 48 hours after purchasing, the store manager rejected to apply the refund policy without a clear cause, and continued stating that the phone is 2nd Gen. The back of the receipt clearly shows that the refund is valid within 7 days, at the original point of sale. We reached the company Customer Service line, and they stated that the store should accept the return, but they were not clear in how to proceed in this case, where the company representative refused to apply the policy.Desired Settlement: Full refund of the purchase, including the activation fee. The total is $187.24I would also like a written apology from the company.

Review: Hello,My name is [redacted]. I signed up for Cricket Communications Inc. (rate plan "Cricket $50 Muve Smart") on April 17, 2013 at their location on [redacted]. Due to lack of signal strength, I cancelled their services, at the same location, on May 3, 2013. I purchased 2 phones under the plan above; I paid the entire amount for both phones too. Also, I paid the first month of pre-paid services from April 17, 2013 to May 16, 2013. Please note, I cancelled Cricket on May 3, 2013. As listed on their receipt, I don't expect a refund for the period between May 3rd to May 16th. However, Cricket is still billing me for cancelled services. Since I have cancelled Cricket, I have been billed $42.16 on May 16, 2013, and $47.30 on June 17, 2013. I just put a stop payment through my bank account. The phones were returned on May 3, 2013 too. Furthermore, one of the former Cricket numbers had already been transferred over to my new carrier ([redacted]) on May 4, 2013. So what is their justification for billing me? The Cricket representatives refuse to refund due to policies outlined in their contract agreement. I subscribed to pre-paid services to avoid shenanigans like this! Never trust these people with automated services; they'll just take advantage.Desired Settlement: I would to receive a refund of $42.16 for bank charges on May 16, 2013, and $47.30 for bank charges on June 17, 2013 (total $89.46).

Review: Moved from Louisville, KY and needed a cell phone. Friend suggested Cricket wireless because they partnered with AT&T(supposedly more towers).I was shown a map of Ohio that showed that my new address in Lynchburg, Ohio was in the coverage area. I paid a total of $130 for phone, first month's service and restocking fee). I was told that I would lose $80 of this fee if I decided that I didn't want the phone. I found that as soon as I would enter the Lynchburg town limits I would lose my signal. I am almost 70 years old and live on Social Security of $900 a month. I need a cell phone that works. I called customer service a number of times and was told that the phone should work (according to their map). I explained that their map was wrong - that I lived in Lynchburg and there was NO service. I spent the best part of two days talking to customer service reps explaining my situation and was finally told by a "manager" at their customer service number that I should return the phone to the Cricket store and that they would put information in the computer system for the Cricket manager to access explaining that I should receive a total refund of my $130. I made my second trip to the Cricket store in two days and he refused to return my money. He said that I had service according to his map and that it wasn't his policy to offer a refund. He got really obnoxious and ordered me and my friend out of his store. I cannot afford to lose $130.Desired Settlement: Please assist me in getting my $130 refunded. I cannot afford to lose this money. The phone and service are absolutely useless to me.

Review: I set up a bridge payment for my phone and made the payment on 12/10/2013 (and received the confirmation via text AND e-mail). The recording states that I have until the end of day-7 days from that date to make full payment to avoid interruption. Well I wake up on 12/17/13 morning (which is the 7th day) and my services were disconnected. It hadn't made it until the end of day. Last month in November the same thing happened. I called Cricket customer service and the representative gave me a week extension. So I called this morning and they are telling me that it's nothing they can do until I pay the remaining balance of $74.00 to re-instate my services. I advised that I had until the end of day to do that and I would like for my services to be re-instated. The representative refused. I requested to speak with a supervisor and someone named [redacted] (the mananger) got on the phone. I explained the situation to him. He stated the same thing as the representative. I asked him to explain how I was able to get an extension last month and he wasn't able to explain, his reponse "I don't know how that happened". He also stated that the confirmation was just for OUR records only, which doesn't make sense. If that was the case, then why would he ask for the confirmation from me?? He kept saying that the bridgepay was revoked, but couldn't explain how I was able to continue using the service a couple of days ago. He was not helpful at all. All I asked was for my services to be reinstated until the end of day 12/17/13 as agreed. They did not honor that and he was NOT helpful at all! He also told me that there wasn't anyone else I could speak with that was over him. I caught him in several lies during the conversation. Cricket should be help accountable for their mistakes. I am a PAYING customer and do not deserved to be treated this way! There is NO consistency with them at all!Desired Settlement: I would like for my services to be re-instated until the end-of-day as made in the Cricket Wireless agreement.
