The manufacturer declined a repurchase do to the fact it is a minor paint flaw.We have offered everything within the manufacturers guidelines to remedy the complaint and have been unable to do so.The Dealership is not willing to repurchase the vehicle and sell them the upgraded trim level at the original purchased price. We are still willing to perform a warranty repair and will insure the customer is satisfied with our paint work. Mr. [redacted] said he would have to speak to his wife (?). They had initially agreed to buy the truck for $26000. We even told them that they could get it for $25000. As of this morning, they called and left me a message stating that they were "going to go a different direction" and thanking us for all of our efforts. [redacted] is also trying to reach out to them to find out why they are not purchasing the truck even at their terms.

I am extremely satisfied with the immediate, and timely response to the issue that I had encountered with the service dept. The resolution was swifter than I have ever anticipated. I appreciate a company such as Coughlin to quickly resolve the complaint as they did. As Coughlin, if I were in business I would respond in the same way as they did. A good company as Coughlin need not have a blemish of this nature applied to their resume. I deeply apologies to Coughlin for breaking the chain of command in order to get to someone that would actually listen to me. I attempted to discuss the matter with the service dept. but to no avail. Therefore, I attempted to contact the lead in the dept. only not to feel justice would have been served. The conversation was not to my satisfaction, and I knew not where the next of command led. Coughlin Automotive has addressed the warranty issues with the truck and I am satisfied with the results.
