On Sept 4 I parked at Metropolis at Metrotown for over 4 hours. This is because I am an employee of the mall. I was ticketed with a violation of $40.00. I didn't understand why I was ticketed because I worked at the mall so I sent a dispute on the day of and was informed that I would get a response within 72 hours. Unfortunately no one reached out so I called on Sept 7th and was expecting a call back after leaving my phone number in a voicemail. Still to no prevail. I contacted my manager and was informed that I was supposed to park at the Silver city area. So I do apologize for not parking in the correct area, but I sincerely did not know. I received a ticket with the balance of $0 before, but I did not realize it was a warning. I thought that whoever was in charge, input my license plate and it came out as $0 because my name and plate should be in the system for the employees of the mall. Now after thinking back it was foolish of me to think so because why would they put it on my windshield if they knew. So I do hope that this balance of $40.00 can be cancelled/ waived as I can ensure you that I will never violate a parking or any condition anymore as now I have all of the information that I needed to know to follow it correctly.
Hi I am ***. I filed a complaint earlier today with the email *** and just wanted to let you know that concord has reached out to me a few hours after my file and that everything is solved now.
I have parked my car in *** king George Blvd Surrey bc for less than 1 hour , that day I was taking my new born in my car , he was crying and I had to pull over my car parked at this location , I walked my baby to shoppers got him a sunscreen and came back to car , and received a ticket for over 3 hours parking for $80 , this is ridiculous.
Hi. We have reviewed the complainants concerns regarding the violation issued. Upon review, we have confirmed the persons vehicle was parked for more that 3.5 hours at Central City. We also note that the person never contacted us directly to dispute the violation. Information on how to contact us is printed on the violation notice. The violation was not issued in error by our staff. However, as a good will gesture, and noting that the person has no previous violations with Concord Parking, we have cancelled the violation.
Please let us know if you require anything else from our end.
Thanks.

Their website has a dispute section that's easy to use. I know from reading their reviews that they get a lot of bum rap. Some were complaining it was hard to get through to them in the past. In my case the guy working was trigger happy (I saw what he did.) and that happens. It doesn't mean the whole company ***. It's tough to gauge parking. But anyways send them a message and be kind in your words, they're just people like us. Just state the facts and be reasonable. I want to put time into posting this so that they can get positive feedback and encourage them by letting them know that their understanding is appreciated. Praise should be done more often to those who deserve it. Thanks to the person who replied so quickly to my email in the office! I appreciate you waiving the ticket!
Was at the mall, made purchases, met people, yet received a parking ticket at Central City mall for parking there too long!
Violation # *** I have been unable to file a dispute on their website. Both the violation # and license plate come up as invalid. I’ve sent an email.
Hi ***,
The 3hr restriction at Central City is not meant to penalize
those shopping in the mall. This time frame is in place to deter individuals who are using this facility
for purposes other than shopping. Your free parking begins when you first
arrive on site and does not reset or stop if you leave the property. As a work around for those who are here for
shopping purposes you can submit your disputes with photos of receipts for
purchases made that day as you have done here. We have reduced
your violation to a warning as a one-time courtesy.

On February 18 2020, I went to Richmond Centre Shopping Centre, serviced by Concord Parking. I made 2 trips that day. 1st trip was around 1025AM to 1040AM where I had parked in their upstairs parking lot, near the food court entrance. I went in to get take out from ***. I then left with my car and exited their lot from the ground exit near ***, exiting onto Minoru Blvd.
I returned a 2nd time that day at around 250PM and made a purchase at ***. *** is right under the food court. I parked in the same area as that morning and entered through the food court entrance. I left around 325 and noticed a violation ticket on my dash. I exited the parking lot.
The violation ticket was regarding my vehicle exceeding 4 hours parked at their lot
I went to their website and tried calling them. I got an automatic message advising to use their online complaint/dispute form. I made the effort to create an account and filed a dispute. I gave them all my information and even asked them that they could check their security cameras to see that my vehicle had exited and left the lot in the morning.
My combined parked time did not exceed 4 hours, not even half.
I got an email back from their department advising that the time starts when I first parked at their lot and it does not matter whether my vehicle left the lot or not and that if I do make a return to the parking lot, it still counts from when I first parked at their lot.
I find the response unacceptable and lacking logic. I made 2 separate trips and even if you combine the parked time, it still does not exceed the 4 hours.
I wished to respond to them and ask for clarification but they responded with a Do Not Reply email address so they blocked and refused follow ups.

I parked at the *** Central north Lot and after shopping, I stopped at T$T to have lunch at the mall. I got inside my car, started my engine with my transmission on drive then a car parked in front of my car so I had to wait before I can proceed forward and It was Concord parking staff, he got down from the car and was about dropping a ticket on my windshield, I had to open my door so he can know I am inside the car and driving out then he handed the ticket of $80 to me. I told him I was driving out and I even showed him some of the itmes I purchased in the mall and he was like he can not cancel the ticket because he had printed it already and said I should call the company which I did but nobody picked the call and I even dropped a voice number with my number for a call back but I didnt get any call from them. It is so dissatifying to get the ticket after done with my shopping and I was just about zooming off. This is my first ticket

I park my truck in the mornings to grab a coffee in metrotown. The free parking is for 4 hours. I was parked a hour 2 days in a row and they ticketed me both times! They also say if you leave and come back it doesn’t matter your time doesn’t reset. ( sign doesnt say that ) Which is complete *** then everyone would have tickets when they leave and come back. Tickets are in dispute. See what they say.
Hi ***,
Unfortunately, I cannot have a look into your file because we need your violation number. I am pretty sure you've received feedback from the disputed department. However, if you need any assistance, please send an email to ***.

My son received a parking ticket *** he had tried to purchase a parking ticket but the machines were frozen on January *** he was on the way to school and parking the car to get the sky train *** campus when he came home that night he disputed the ticket when submitting the dispute it says you will receive a response in 72 hours but not knowing that administration works 24/7 he paid the ticket on Sunday night with my visa because he is 18 and does not hold a credit card and I leave for work @ 7.00 am on Monday and he would miss the deadline of paying $30 prior to $50 if the ticket was not cancelled he is a student and every dollar matters. So fast forward he received a response @ 9.22 am Monday saying they are making a one time exception but now they are refusing to credit us back the money in my visa card.( Violation Number ***)

We arrived at *** Parking Lot just before 3:00 PM to buy something ***, then when I returned to my car I found an $80 ticket on my window issued on 3:48 PM for over 3 hours parking?!? This is ridiculous and I did not even stayed inside the mall for more than 1 hour! THIS TICKET SHOULD DISPUTED! I was trying to dispute the ticket online, but it requires me to create an account which I don't feel comfortable. The ticket # is

I parked at the mall for 45 minutes (08:11am-08:56pm), then drove away to finish other business and stayed away for 2 hours and 5 minutes (08:56-11:01) and then returned to the mall to stay only 1 hour and 30 more minutes (11:01am-12:31pm). The ticket was issued at 12:15pm, and according to documented proof I posses (and 3 witnesses who were with me for the entire day), I had been parked for only 1 hour and 49 minutes total, being that the reason I got ticketed, according to the notice, is parking for over 3 hours. I understand this was a mistake by the company which thought I had been parked straight from the time I first got there to the time I last drove away, but I did not commit any violations. This happened weeks ago and yet their Online System does not recognize my Violation Number or my car plate, so I couldn't resolve this over their own website. This made me feel very disrespected, I am a busy person and need this problem fixed as soon as possible, please.
Hi there,
We tried to find your violation number in our system and there's no record of it. Having said that, you can disregard the ticket because there's no record of violation under your license plate.

I'm a patron of Lansdowne Mall at Richmond BC and this is the first time it happened to me. I parked this morning around 9:30 am at the parking lot close to BCAA to get my insurance paper done. I stayed at the mall for 4 hours to kill time and then went back to bcaa insurance but when I got out, I saw a $50 parking violation ticket on my windshield. I seriously don't see any sign where I parked because if I did, I will seriously be mindful of my time. Me, my wife and 2 small kids always go here and sometimes we would stay longer than 4 hours easily to hang out but this is the first time I was issued a ticket. I'm overly dissatisfied that a loyal customer would be ticketed because they stayed longer than 3 hours. My Violation # is *** and I really wanted this to be waived as I find this unfair. Thank you

Concord Parking Review: A couple days ago I received a ticket from Concord Parking in [redacted] , [redacted] There is a hour parking limit, and I moved my car before my time run out but I was ticketed either wayI purchased a couple things from the mall, and wanted to appeal this ticket, but it was impossibleIn my opinion, there website is built so that a "customer" can't appeal One of the first steps is creating an account, but I couldn't fill some of the mandatory fields because there were no options that fitted my situationSpecifically, the website asked me to indicate where the event happened, and Park Royal was not an optionI was surprised the appeal process and how hard it is to file a complaint; it was impossible for me to do itI did not expect much from a company that seems to threaten their "customers" with passing on their tickets to collection agencies, but I hoped that at least I would be able to appeal I had to pay because I needed to go to the mall the next day, and did not want my car to be towed, but I completely disagree with the customer relation services of this companyI think it is unfair to make the appeal process nearly impossible, [redacted] In the other hand, their payment process is straight forward, and does not require to create a userI took screenshots of the appeal process if evidence is needed
Visiting *** with my wife who had a meeting *** Dropped her off and then parked *** to waste 4 hours window shopping ***. Came back to find a $50 ticket on my window, and immediately went on the website to appeal since there was nothing nefarious going on (and literally hundreds of available spots). You can’t file an appeal without creating an account on their website! And what mall limits people to 3 hours on a Monday? This definitely comes across as predatory practices, and requiring someone to create an account (and adding more of their personal information) just to appeal what is a bologna “violation” to begin with is downright wrong. My “Violation” number was

I received a $50 parking ticket for parking over 3 hours at Lansdowne mall. I was unaware that there was a time limit because there is no visible signage for this. The explanation of amount includes that this is also to cover lost revenue but I bought items at the mall! I bought an apple pie at Langley Farm, which unfortunately I threw away the receipt for because I didn't think I'd need it, and a receipt for stationery at HomeSense, which I do have the receipt for. I don't understand the 3 hour time limit; what if people want to grab lunch and do some shopping? Or especially during the busy seasons, what if someone wants to do all of their shopping in one day? I've never received a parking receipt before, because I do follow rules when I am aware of them. My violation # is

Went to study at sfu surrey central for first time and got a ticket for parking infront of the mall, when I bought food at the mall. This is unacceptable it was my first time and I was unaware of any other parking, also there was no signage.

re: citation # CCXXXXXXXXX.
Arrived at Central City mall sometime near 11:00 am for coffee with a friend. Left after a few hours to get an oil change and came back to finish up a few errands. Was ticketed $80 for being parked longer than 3 hours.
When I appealed, I received a followup email rejecting my appeal in part because "Your free parking does not reset or stop if you leave the property." This is obviously an invalid statement provided that if the parking never resets or stops upon leaving the property, this implies that every returning customer (even on separate days) who has parked cumulatively for longer than 3 hours be worthy of a citation, provided it never resets as the appeal response suggests.
I followed up with an email to their dispute team showing proof of purchases and receipts. It has almost been 2 weeks now and they have failed to respond. I have never received a parking ticket prior to this as I follow parking rules whether it be private or public.
