I have received the letter in regards to [redacted] ***'s moving claim. We had been behind on the claims process a week to 10 days when [redacted] had been trying to receive service for resolution. Once we were caught up we reached out and serviced her concerns. In an attempt to be fair to our client... we issued a return of half the original invoice as a resolution to some minor damages that occurred naturally on the service date. She has accepted and to our understanding is happy with the outcome. Please let me know if you need any additional information. Thank you Best, [redacted]

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:
I indicated they should see if it would fit through the stairwell/doorway considering they both didn't want to attempt it as it was their last job that day and they left it until the endThat prompted Rob to take measurements to which they determined it would fit through the stairwell/doorway areaFurther, after they found out they could take it apart, they indicated they were confident it would fitHad they used furniture pads and/or left the original couch wrapping on itThere would have been minimal to no damages In short, the movers were negligent on protecting the couchTherefore, it resulted in damages
To address your independent reports of your staff, they rode together in their truck and left together in the same truckI'm confident they discussed the issue they caused in their truck and which led to protecting their own best interestsTherefore, shifting the blame onto the customerFurther, they are the expert moversShould they feel strongly about not moving any items that would result in damages, they should voice that concern and not move itIn this situation, they took the measurements, took the couch apart, explained that it would fit up through the stairwell/doorway then completed it
To provide more color to this issue, Troy stated immediately after seeing the damages done that he was so sorry they caused it and will seek to have it resolved after explaining what they did with their local managerHe also took photos of all the damagesIt's very shocking to see the responsibility shift after he left my apartment and discussed it with Troy (the lead mover) he was withThis is unacceptable to treat a customer and should be addressed and resolved immediately.Sincerely,*** ***

Our company moved the client from Seattle to Tumwater WA At the end of the move, the client notified the team that her used mattress had some damageOne of the seams running down the side had come apart The team used proper packing techniques and the mattress was handled in a
conscientious manner.According to her move contract and the type of valuation that she chose (included at no charge Basic Loss and Damage Protection), she is entitled to a compensation of 60cents/lb Based on a lb mattress, her compensation should be $ Numerous attempts were made to get hold of Victoria (using different phone and different managers) but to no availFinally, we were able to get hold of her directly and settled on $to close this claim This is resolved

This complaint was solved within  days of the incidence. The distinction is the customer  who owned the home , was [redacted] father. [redacted] was not on the premises during my visit. They called me at the time of the home cleanout to say that my guys had tracked oil on the carpet. I...

asked how they could possibly be in a home environment and track oil? They said they were working through the garage. I gave them the 3 step process to get the oil out of the carpet before it set in. They said that they  followed my instructions  and were satisfied with the solution but still had a stain on the driveway. The carpets did cleanup , but it didn’t matter because they were being replaced prior to putting the house on the market.  Mr. [redacted]’s wife had passed away and he was selling the family home , he told me during our very cordial visit.

I told them that I was flying out of state for 5 days and I would address the driveway situation upon my return. When I returned I took various chemicals and tools with me to evaluate the scenario. Mr. [redacted] stated that they thought it was oil that had leaked out of my truck and he had bought a cleanser from Home Depot that did not work. I  told him my trucks were four months old and did not leak oil. When I was there the landscaper and painters trucks were both parked in the same driveway and were very old.

What I found was an ink stain not oil , the ink had been hidden in one of the bags and leaked from the back of the truck, my guys carried the bag out of the house and loaded it in the truck. They were unaware of the ink or the leak. I told the home owner that this was serious because ink is considered a hazmat product and my guys  were not allowed to dispose or carry those types of chemicals, that is why they specifically tell each customer at the beginning of the job they cannot dispose of chemicals. They had specifically asked Mr. [redacted] if there was any inks, paints, flammables or other products considered hazmat in the bags prior to starting the job. Mr. [redacted] said he didn’t know how the ink got in the broken bag.

I went to my car and grabbed the appropriate combination of products to eliminate the ink stain. In the ninety degree heat, I got down on my hands and knees and scrubbed the driveway, which was 40 plus years old aggregate with a multitude of other stains and discolorations.  The ink was completely removed and the driveway was spotless and stood out compared to the rest of the dirty driveway. Mr. [redacted] apologized for the erroneous assessment  and thanked me for doing such a good job of cleaning it up.  I asked him if there was anything else I could do to make the situation better . He said I had gone above and beyond his expectations. He then told me that it was not him that had filed a complaint, rather his son, [redacted].  He called his son  while he were standing together , he told [redacted] what a wonderful job I had done. He specifically asked his son to retract the complaint and write a very positive review in its place. I heard the entire conversation, obviously [redacted] did not follow his father’s wishes. I honestly don’t what else could have been done, the driveway was many times cleaner that when we started the job.

I have a sign on my door that states no printed materials at all are allowed.
If this company employs people that are to stupid to read then how can they be trusted to operate a business. One of their employees left a door hanger soliciting business from me. My sign is less than 18 inches way from the door [redacted]. Either this is a willful disregard my wishes or it is an attack ad targeting seniors.
This company needs to respect other peoples property it is NOT OK to leave solicitations when there is a sign stating solicitations are not wanted.
I will do all in my power to convince my neighbors to NEVER use this companies services.
