[redacted] is a awesome man he has a plan and very ambitious young people need to listen to him it takes help to recognize your good deeds for others we don't all come from the same backgrounds so it was a pleasure to make a difference faith the size of mustard seeds moves mountains God bless his heart help this young man out.

A young woman approached me while I was walking in neighborhood.
She shared her story about how she was trying to better herself for her children.
I was not interested in magazine and she said that I could give her cash or check
and that this magazine would be sent to some other organization.
When I walked home to my house and she told me price started at $45.00, I replied that
I did not have that much cash.
She then said that she could add to existing money toward l magazine and I said I
needed receipt.
I gave $25.00 and got receipt and my husband said that this did not make sense that
she could legally take money by adding other money to make a subscription.

I am calling company and asking question about their policy.

This is so sad to take advantage of Seniors with limited income.

Sadly I read the reviews a day after the fact. The review about the sad background story and trying to get ahead could have been written by me except I live in CT. I did feel pressured and now I feel duped for being so gullible and taken advantage of. She was a good salesman and I feel I was fooled. I may go to the bank and discuss canceling this check but I probably won't because maybe it will help this girl and I do believe in Karma. She may be legit. and the company is taking advantage of her or if not...Karma. I have learned from this experience and hope whoever reads this is helped. Those negative reviews were all accurate.

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Dear Ms....

[redacted],I would like to reopen complaint # [redacted].As expected, I only received 1 issue on the magazine Boating World  (2 year subscription).I originally was seeking reimbursement  for the purchase of the magazine, ( $ 59.00 ), so that Iwould not have to e-mail you 24 times.PS Circulations unfortunately did not prove me wrong, I expected to have future problems with the delivery of the magazines.I received the August magazine, but nothing after that.I would greatly appreciate if you could assist me in the full refund, as I don’t think either of us wants to continually deal with this problem over the next two years. This company has shown their colors and should be run out of town. If anything, a message, article in the newspaper, or broadcast should warn the public of this deceptive company.Anything you could do to help would be appreciated.Regards,[redacted]

Hello. My name is [redacted] and I was hoodwinked by a gentleman going by the name of Brian S[redacted]. He visited my home on September 7 ,2016. I purchased a gift subscription. Then I cancelled my order. Low and behold the che k cleared my bank 9/17. This group. Sends a bunch of hustlers door to door usually during dinner hour. They talk a smooth game. Always say they are from out of state. This kid said born and raised in Chicago but had zero accent. These people are garbage. Shut the door in their face and move on. Don't be a fool.

A young man from PS Circulation came to my door to offer his products. I told him I had the flu and that the sign hung on a nail on my door clearly said "NO SOLICITORS". He talked over me, was pushy and refused to leave, so I told him, "Sorry", and closed the door. He lingered at my door for half a minute and then left. Later on I discovered that my "NO SOLICITORS" sign was missing. No one else had been to my door. I'm accusing this young man of theft.

A clean-dressed, fast-talking and otherwise very friendly and polite gentleman purporting to be "working his way up in life for his little girl whose mother is incarcerated" showed up at our house tonight at 9pm. He claimed to be Jason G[redacted] and he was selling magazine subscriptions to "help the kids". He held a stack of papers, clipped together with binder clips and claimed "most of your neighbors purchased 6 subscriptions". None of the people on his list were my neighbors. He carried on and when I asked how much it would cost for 6 subscriptions he said $580.00. When I told him I couldn't afford that amount, his demeanor did a 180 and he stomped off--irate and yelling and kicked out plants in our yard on his way out. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THESE THIEVES. SHADY, SHADY, SHADY.

Last Thursday 5/15/2014, a black male in his mid to late twenties with 3-4 inch long dreadlocks, stopped by the house around noon when my husband was home for lunch. He was extremely persistent and would not take no for an answer. He only left when my husband had to get in his car to go back to work. My husband, [redacted], shared the details of the conversation with me, so that I would be aware and not engage in conversation with him.
That evening, around 8:40, the solicitor came back to our residence. The front door was open to allow the cool breeze to flow. He started talking through the door, which startled my daughter and I. I went to the front door and simply stated we are not interested, we do not accept solicitors (he kept saying, "But I want to see [redacted]"), and [redacted] is not interested either. I closed and locked the door.
Instead of leaving, he began knocking on the door and ringing the doorbell repeatedly. We decided to turn the lights out as further evidence that we were not interested. Instead of getting the clue, he began shouting through the door and knocking on the front room window and saying, "I know you're in there. You're not fooling anyone. Come on, I just want to talk to [redacted]. Open up now."
My 8 year old son (who had been sleeping) came down the hall with nervous tears wondering what was the matter. The knocking and yelling was so loud, he thought it was a burglar. I asked my daughter to watch him and realized that the solicitor was not going to be leaving anytime soon.
I went to the front door and said, "This is enough. Either you need to leave or I will have to call the police." He said he wasn't going anywhere. I grabbed my phone, dialed [redacted], showing him, and said, "Are you really going to make me call [redacted]?" He continued to try to engage me in conversation.
I put the dispatch on speaker and proceeded to give the description. The dispatcher explained that he had already received two complaints from our neighborhood. The entire phone call, the solicitor tried to continue to engage in conversation and even helped provide a description. It wasn't until dispatch said they would send a unit that he finally left our property.
Our whole family was so disturbed by the whole situation. This solicitor violated our privacy and interrupted our peace. My children are afraid to be home alone as am I afraid to be home by myself. This company is very shady and the tactics they use are abusive and should be punished.

I recently had a young sales woman appear at my door selling subscription to magazines. Since I mentioned I didn't read magazines, she mentioned we could donate. I donated $66. I am wondering if the Memorial Hospital in Boulder CO will ever get those children's books I donated, especially after reading all the complaints. I really wish the U.S. Government would do something about this since they are transporting people across state lines with the intent of committing fraud. Please, do not give or do business with this organization. I did feel sorry for the young lady who appeared at my door because she seemed down on her luck. The sad part is she is being scammed by the scammers.

Same story as the others! My apartment doesn't have an intercom so I accidentally buzzed this fast talking woman in. She was nice and I fell for the sob story about trying to turn her life around and go to college. She was going on and on about points and then asked me to buy subscriptions or buy them to donate to a children's charity. I reluctantly agreed to one. She told me it would be $40 and then mumbled something about getting a little extra money for Starbucks (red flag) and then the amount jumped to $52 when she wrote the actual receipt (payable by check/cash only). I had a gut feeling this was a huge scam. She was talking so fast it took me 10 minutes to figure out what she actually wanted. It was dumb of me but I was too polite to shut the door on her to make her go away. As soon as she left, I googled the company and found this and was horrified. I canceled the check immediately but have serious concerns about her having my account information. I am thinking of reporting her to the police. Lesson learned!!

I am among the many who foolishly purchased a magazine subscription from a door-to-door salesman for PS Circulation. It is a scam -- you can find complaints all over the internet. But there's good news: you can get your money back, eventually. I paid $53 on April 7 for a magazine and never received it. Three months later, when I emailed them, they told me they'd had my address wrong, and said to allow another 4-6 weeks for delivery. It never came, but when I got around to trying again, in December, they processed a refund, and I got my check for the full amount today (Jan. 8). It has cleared at my bank.

If you've ordered from them, cancel right away -- you have three days to get a cancellation request in the mail. It might work (I didn't research the company in time to try). But above all, KEEP A COPY OF YOUR RECEIPT. When they processed my refund, they asked for a copy of it, and also of my cleared check. Make sure you keep these records, and don't send them anything but copies.

Since I got my money back, you could call this a "neutral" experience, but I wouldn't -- obviously, they are trying to take your money, give you nothing, and then throw delays and obstacles in your path to get your money back. They are counting on you to drop the ball, so stay persistent and keep your records.

I am writing in response to the above mentioned complaint.  It appears that there was an error in the processing of Mr. [redacted]'s order.  Due to the circumstances, we feel that refunding Mr. [redacted] for the total amount paid for his order wou ld be an acceptable resolution to this matter....

A check in the amount of$53.00 will be mailed to Mr. [redacted] for this purpose.  We have also enclosed a copy of the refund check for your records.  If any further information is needed please feel free to contact me.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

In the summer of 2014 a young man rang my bell and gave me the hard sell for magazines - he said he'd just been released from prison and although trained as a welder in prison was having trouble finding a job due to his record. He claimed that he was bussed from [redacted] with a large group of young men to sell magazines in [redacted] as a way of making a new start on life. He was well trained in sales & persuasive. I agreed to take a subscription and he showed me the price, but when he wrote up the sale - the price included a hefty "service charge" that he had neglected to mention. When I said I was no longer interested he said he could wave the service charge. He then said if I paid by check, as was my plan, that he would not make any commission on this sale - so I paid by cash. He gave me a receipt and was on his way. Six months went by and no magazines arrived. I figured I had been scammed and that was that - till I found the receipt & emailed a copy of it to the company - the person I communicated with apologized and said they would give me an extended subscription. That was 11 weeks ago, and today I received my 1st issue. I would never buy a subscription this way again, but I am happy that the company stood behind the receipt - even if the sales man pocked the money and never turned in the order.
