Was in the process of refinancing through Midwest Equity. We purchased an appraisal for our property which came back at where we originally discussed it would. Then was told that we would be charged thousands of more dollars to continue with our loan. We then decided to stop the process due to the extra costs that were not originally discussed. When we began the process with a new company we requested a transfer of the appraisal, which we paid for but is “owned” by Midwest Equity, and they are refusing to transfer the appraisal. There is no benefit to them to refuse to transfer our appraisal which we purchased other than to seemingly “punish” us for not continuing to do business with them after they tried to add additional fees to our loan.

The worst service and advice I have received in my life, I tryed to apply for a mortgage sent all my documents, my account statements, all personal information and they never told me that with that information they would not be able to process anything, they ran me the credit even knowing, they never called me even to tell me that I did not apply for that program, I had to call Alex who was the person who attended me and his service attitude was the worst, I asked him why he didn't explain me that, from the beginning so that I would not have to run the credit, so he answered "ok now it's my fault, ok", goodbye and I hang up the phone. what is this kind of service for someone who is trying to apply for a loan, all this happened in two days. It is incredible how they do with the information and with the people what they want. I definitely do not recommend them. Find a place where the attention is personalized and dedicated where they can explain everything well, where they have patience and above all professional, above all we are human and we deserve respect.

I tried to refinance my home with 3 company's, this was the 3rd company I went with. I got my loan, from my first phone call to closing date in less then a month. Comparing this firm from others, there staff was very easy to understand, very responsive and could not even critique there process at all. I am also someone that handles clients on a regular basis, and there service is unparallel. Also offer a free appraisals, compared to spending $500 for appraisals from other company's. I highly recommend and will be referring in the future.

I had a wonderful experience working with Nick *** and Renee ***! They really went above and beyond to help me through the whole refinance process and get me the best rate possible. My wife and I worked with C.H. at *** and couldn't be happier. After doing some research online and on the Revdex.com site I decided to work with *** Lending (the online arm associated with Midwest Equity Mortgage).
From initial contact to closing our refi only took 14 days! Granted, we are both pretty organized and had all the requested documents etc. uploaded by day two and with solid credit underwriting was a quick process. But still 14 days verses the 30-45 I was expecting. Our rep walked us through the process (our first refi) and was readily available via email and on the phone to answer all of my various questions (There were a lot - thanks for hanging in there buddy!). Additionally, he gave us a call right before we met with the Notary to check in and let us know that he would be available at his office number if something came up. Ended up having to call him during our meeting with the notary to clarify something. Other than a small hiccup because the escrow company drastically lowered their personal check limit starting in 2018 (we had to visit our bank to get a wire transfer going instead) the process was efficient, painless and, as far as I can tell, one of the least expensive around. We'll definitely check with *** Lending again to get a quote for a mortgage or refinance if needed in the future. I've already had at least one of my friends contact them about a refinance after asking us about our experience. Thanks again!

This was my second experiance financing with Mike.It could not have gone any better,just like the first time.Mike and his staff were extremely professional,friendly and efficiant as the process was quick and painless.At 57,I've done my share of home financing and have had many agonizing,drawn out battles with other financial institutions.This has been by far my best experience and highly recommend Mike and his team.
