This place steals your stuff and lies saying you never paid on your *** when they have it in the system that you have paid on it. They forfeited my *** then sold it.
employees at this location in *** have knowingly and purposely altered account records so that I would lose my personal property and investments into other property. The company has allowed its representatives to create multiple accounts that have been misleading and confusing to keep up with payments. Coming into the location in person with my ID has been a constant struggle as several employees have purposely lied to me or missed providing me with loans and layaway payment amounts and due dates. This has been maliciously and continuously done for a substantial amount of time . I have lost hundreds of dollars of property due to errors made by associates at this location. The company has taken retaliation against me for bringing complaints to the store in which the district manager has refused and failed to resolve. Recently the store has damaged a tv I bought from a layaway. Due to such a hostile environment I have had a family member in *** to come into the store to make my payments on my behalf and after one payment was made I have now been informed the store is demanding that thousands of dollars of merchandise be taken out without any further extensions given. This was told to me to be approved by the corporate offices of ***. I have filed a small claims which will be moved to a district court being that there is a pending class action lawsuit against this company for the same type of negligent and illegal loan practices by this company to a multitude of other clients. There is a company representative at this *** location that has on every occasion I have made against the company tried to move me out of the store by either lying about prices of merchandise and providing false information to talk me out of sales. I have tried to resolve such said matters with the company for a substantial amount of time and the company has refused. As a disabled individual the company has allowed and encouraged its employees to take advantage of me which has cost me thousands of dollars in property value loss.

we put a tv on lay away and we decided to cancel it,we give them 70.00 when we went to cancel lay away they told us we would lose all of our 70.00,I believe this is against the law to do this

I pawned my 3,000 school issued MacBook Pro, got a loan of a few hundred dollars. I had been making my payments . I made a payment in November and was told the next payment was due in December and if not that it had a pull date to be sold in January, I called in the beginning of January 2018 to check the status to come in and make 2 payments. And I was told that my item was already pulled and placed in the sales floor back in December 2018. I also found out that they still have my item and it is on layaway hold in the store so there is nothing they can do.
This pawnshop has recently hired new employees who do not value my business , I have never had this issue before when dealing with the previous employees over the last 3 years.
Basically they are trying to steal/ finagle me out of my property, I need this item back on my long terms that I agreed on and secured.
I feel that maybe an employee placed it in layaway, when I found out it was still in the store the manager said that I was not supposed to be given that information.

I missed a payment, so my account was autodeducted for the remainder of the loan balance. Now theysay due to tthe contract, I owe another $1000 dollars. That would mean I wouldbe paying the full amount twice.

On 1/2/2018 around 1pm I went to this location to see about a *** transaction I had a desktop computer to *** the store rep that assist me once the computer loaded informed me that I have to remove all my email accounts and administrator account off the computer and I said they’ve never asked me to do that they just always ask for the passwords and she stated that the new company doesn’t want to pay for an IT professional to do factory resets so now the customer has to remove all the information and I tried to do what they asked and I told them I need a internet connection to remove so one of the other store reps used her hotspot and I really couldn’t figure out how to do it so I asked the rep hotspot I was using can you show me how to do this she responded with a very bad attitude they same way you set it up you need to remove all those accounts and I said ok but I don’t understand why my school and personal email account was something that had to be removed. And she walked off and said we can’t even write up a loan if you can’t get all those accounts off and she went and assisted another customer and as she was helping him she started to say it’s not my fault it the new company has new policy’s and the customer she was talking to said I don’t see what’s the big deal just add the accounts back and I said it’s none of your damn business and a working shouldn’t be discussing one customer situation with another and the girl that originally helping ask me what did I say and I repeated myself and at that point I started to feel faint and I couldn’t figure out what she was wanting me to do so I left and after I started to feel better went to another location and pawned my item.
We have received and reviewed the correspondence from *** and have reached out to her to discuss the matter. We were able to resolve her concerns.

I purchased a Playstation 4 game console from *** on 12/22/2017. The representative advised me that the console was working properly . I should have used better judgement considering the controller was broken at the time of purchase. However, I felt like this is *** shop , if you can't *** the items broken , they wouldn't sell broken merchandise. So I took the console home ,wrapped it up ( because it was a Xmas gift for my son). On Xmas day we opened the gift and it did not work. The system would not read any game disc . I took the game system back 12/26 and was charged a $15 restocking fee. What is it that you are restocking, the game system doesn't even work. The manager *** was very rude and unprofessional. He told me I am doing you a favor by giving you cash , usually we would just give out store credit. I felt like I should have been refunded for every penny spent, you guys were misleading and ruined my son's Christmas.

Made several payments of $45 towards a TV. Last payment of $45.00 was made on 11/27/17, with a remaining balance of $46.49. Spoke with the employee and asked them about making my last payment right before Christmas, they assured me that it was not a problem. Went yesterday, 12/18/17 to pay the remaining balance and pick up the TV, they told me that my order had been canceled and that I could not even get the $211 that she had already invested in return.

I was purchasing a ring from ***. I started the layaway started 10.3.17. I paid $81.00. The next payment was due 11.3.17. I went in on the 13th to make a payment, I was told I had $162 in credit. I wanted to make the next payment, and they said the ring was gone. I was told the terms had changed on 11.13.17 and they were no longer accepting late payments. I asked why I wasn't notified, and they said they tried to make phone calls. I did not get a phone call. I seem to be under a new policy which I did not agree to. I have not signed anything new.

On 09/25/2017 I purchased a LAP-TOP-NOTEBOOK COMPUTER MFGR HEWLETT-PACKARD; MOD ***. In the month I had it I’ve only been on it a couple times because at the time I had a full time job. So one day I decide to come go home after work and start my online testing course and by doing that I had to be on the laptop I purchased. In the time I was on it the computer decided to configure and shut down on me. When I proceeded to turn it back on there was a message that popped up saying... “This computer is property of K12 and must be returned to K12 immediately, failure to return this computer could result in civil and/ or criminal penalties”. It went on saying the computer can be traced and will stay frozen. So basically they sold me a stolen laptop and when I went in the store on 11/06/2017 were I purchased it from to show them the problem they basically brushed me off and said there is nothing they could do because I purchased it a little over a month ago.

Thinking my balance should have gone down by now I've been making payments on my *** ticket but the balance remain the same paying 30 dollars a month on 10/27/2017 at 12:28 I went to make another payment on my ticket and asked the gentleman behind the counter how come my balance isn't going down he said that I need to put an extra 20 dollars with my 30 dollars I'm already paying I asked him did they payment system change he said no but I told him it has because I do business with you guys all the time when ever I made a payments and paid an extra 5 or 6 dollars my I can see my payment go down I asked him what am I paying 30 dollars for when it's not going toward my balance basically for storage when he told me that you could have bought me for penny

I used this business for a loan on goods for about 2 weeks. Brought in a tv and drill set with charger battery drill and travel box. After 2 weeks with two weeks remaining on loan I went back to pay back loan and interest and collect my items. I was immediately ignored by a racist native woman based on my skin color and the non white individual behind me was greeted and met at the counter first. Excuse me I said are you able to take my payment and retrieve my goods? I asked she said of course that's my job...(so why was the individual behind me greeted first) he was there to trade something in and I was there to pay and pick up. After I paid and my goods were brought out I examined them noticed there was a missing charger that had been removed from the box drill set and the manager said we don't take things out if you brought it in it will be there. I restated I brought a charger in and there is no charger in the box. They went to the back retrieved my charger and I left. TAKE YOUR PHONE TAKE PICTURES OF EVERYTHING YOU LOAN THEM! They will try to steal from you not sure if this is *** shop tactics but this one should be watched. I strongly recommend using an alternative location.
On 10/16/17 I purchased a laptop computer from *** location;***, tax included $86.60.
5 minutes AFTER I paid it malfunctioned, without leaving the store. So after much resistence about disliking same day returns the manager processed refund & gave me a refund receipt & promised 3 day refund( see attached scan). Now 3 days later I don't have the refund & store has the computer. My credit card company said merchant must authorize refund.

I had put some jewelery months ago in the *** on *** in *** at the *** store! So I was busy working and was depending on a letter from them saying my jewelery was about to be due for pick up or renewal! I didn't get a letter in the mail and when I checked my paperwork I was behind for sure! So I go down to the store fast to see about it! I explained to the guys that where in the store the situation and explained that I do take some blame! The guy told me they don't do them letters anymore and they had change owners and store names? So I was like man I didn't know and y'all didn't let me know of your ownership change nor the store name change! I asked him would they like if a bank took all there money and put it under another bank name and not tell the customers nothing! He go to telling me they had the signs posted up in the stores I looked around and didn't see not one what they took them down or something! Like I said I do take some blame but they are wrong on their part! So the guy went to his office came back our with another date to pay but I also noticed he kelp all the charges I had to pay to get my stuff back! My stuff done went up hundreds more because they didn't inform the customers properly! Now I have to pay way more to get all my stuff back!

I have pawned a Camera and a lens to the shop in a desperate time of need which really helped me out. But... I planned to come back to get the camera so I left all of my personal items in my personal bag with them to protect the Lens and Camera which together had a value of over $1,200. I was given $300 dollars which really helped me at the time, but it nthe contract it stated that it was for the camera and lens, not the bag and personal items!!
They refuse to return any of that personal items that were not in the agreement. I was told that he could resell it to me! I feel like I've already taken a huge loss on the camera and now he refuses to return the Items that were not even in the contract.

Bought a laptop from *** in *** less Tha. 2 months ago. When I bought this device they stated that if I have any problems I could bring the computer back and exchange for another. One night the laptop crashed and now will not turn on and it's due to hardware failure. Called *** and it stated this laptop is out of warranty and I would have to contact company bought from. Called *** and spoke with the manager *** and he stated I can not get money back or exchange even though I only had it for about 45 days.while on the phone *** did not ask for any of my information about the purchase but just deemed it something he couldn't take care of. That was extremely unprofessional due to the fact the computer isno longer working because of something on their end.

On September 9, 2017 at 12 pm. I went into *** to get a small loan, as a returning customer I thought it would not be a big issue. *** was rude, and was trying to find any way possible to not assist me. I had went to my bank and had a statement printed not 10 minutes prior and was told that in her opinion that my statement was not adequat because to her it was a "tranaction history" and Not a statement. Im sorry I may not be a Finance wizard that this bored overweight and lazy employee is, but is that not what a statement is a complete record of transactions ? I tried to explain to her but she would not listen and said there was nothing further that she wanted to do or even try to do. Never again will I go to this place, and am filing this complaint so others are aware of the nature of the staff at this location.

I spoke to someone from *** previously on how they work on paying off my balance. I was informed as long as I payed off the amount due before the next due date that I would not be charged an additional fee. I called them today to pay off the balance now and they said that I have to pay the interest amount still and they would take it out on Friday. The guy *** who said he is the manager said I was mistaken and I did not reach out to anyone there. I said I am not mistake and I know I spoke with a lady there and I have corresponded through emails to their department as well.
