Just a word of advise to anyone looking to buy a carport. I ordered one approximately three months ago. I finally got a call telling me that they were scheduled to come install it last Tuesday. Due to the weather that we had it got put off until Friday. I then get a call Friday saying that it will not be installed until Tuesday. Tuesday rolls around and its a no call no show. I call the company Wednesday to find out why they did not show up and the lady tells me that they had to work over but would be there between noon and that evening. I get home that day and still no carport... I call again Thursday morning and I am informed that the crew had already packed up and went back to NC as if they forgot about me.. Now how the [redacted] you forget that you are hauling a 20' carport behind you beats the [redacted] out of me but ok... I looked them up on the better business burrow and they have 136 complaints and a F rating. Needless to say I will never do business with Carolina Carports again and strongly suggest that none of u do as well.
My husband and I ordered a carport from Carolina Carports and had a very positive experience. It was delivered in eight weeks despite being a very rainy Florida summer and was installed by a very professional crew. We are very pleased.
Review: Ordered this carport on 5/10/14. Puit 10% down when ordered whas told by salesman it would be up in 3 to 4 weeks. Called Carolina Carports 5-30-14. Was told it would be up by 7/17/14. Also called 7/10/14 + was told they did not know when it would be delivered or put up. Carolina carports called us on 5/16/14 and wanted to knwo if the gorund was level and ready to go. I called back on Monday 5-19-14 the ground was reach. As of 7/14/14 we know nothing - no delivery date + no set upDesired Settlement: get waht we ordered
I ordered my carport on 7/30/15 and was told it would be 3-5 weeks. Within a week, I received call that carport had come in and they would call to set up delivery. At least 4 weeks later, they called and set up delivery. Before the delivery date rolled around, they called to cancel and said they would call back to reschedule. A couple of weeks go by and I don't hear anything so I start calling. A few weeks later, they call to set up delivery for Friday, October 16. I waited all day. 4:00 pm they call to say they were running late and would be there first thing Saturday morning. I waited all day, no call, no show. From what I am reading on these reviews, I may never get my carport. It's sad that they deal with customers this way. I hear they do good work. I , like most, do not like getting the run around. I just want my carport. 3-5 weeks has turned into 10 weeks and counting. Don't use this company if you are in a hurry or if you expect good communication.
Where do I start? I bought my carport from them in December 2014 with a tentative installation of late Jan. or early Feb. It's now scheduled for second week in April! It appears to me that the problem is with the installation division of CC. The sales team was very helpful and courteous but I've had nothing but rude, un-informed installation operators on the phone. They've blamed the Holidays, Oil Boom in South Texas and now the rain as reasons for their deficiencies! I finally got to speak to a manager with CC and he explained to me that he would refund me all my monies but that when I went to purchase another carport I would be put back further in the installation line because they almost all use the same installer. I decided to wait it out. More to come...
This place is a joke they say 2-6 weeks installed they call me 15 weeks later send two people that don't even get out of the truck and say it is too windy. The most pathetic company I have ever seen. I blew 2 vacation days because these is called me and said they were installing it. If you are looking for a steel building this is not the place to look.
I should have read the other reviews before I ordered from this company. The service is the worst I have ever come across. I ordered my building and was told 6 -8 weeks. No problem. They call me with in 3 weeks saying they will deliver on a Tuesday. I wait all day; I call at 4:00 p.m. and the scheduler tells me they are on their way, I am the next stop. At 6:30 p.m. still waiting, no call, nothing. I call Wednesday morning; they say their people couldn't get it done before dark and were supposed to call me and tell me they couldn't make it! After being told they were on their way and I waited another 2 1/2 hours, they did agree to give me $75 off as they hadn't called me. So they re-schedule for a week from Thursday! No time given just wait all day again. So I wait and I hear around middle of the day they are backed up and will come Friday! On Friday, they cancel because the weather is bad. They re-schedule for Monday! This is the 4th time I have been re-scheduled and I have had to re-schedule my day so I can be there to accept product installation. I wait all day on Monday; at 3:30 p.m. I am again calling to find out where they are. I am the next stop they will call when on their way. AT 4:00 p.m., I get the call, they will be there in 30 minutes. At 5:00 they call and are lost! They get here at 5:15. It gets dark at 5:30, remember they canceled the first time because they couldn't put it up in the dark. Guess what? No problem putting it up in the dark!!!! After saying it would take 1 1/2 hours to put up; it takes 2 1/2 hours. So at 8:00 p.m., they finish. I go to pay and remember they said they would take $75 off; it wasn't off the invoice. So the installer calls because he heard then woman say before he left that $75 was supposed to come off bill. The woman on the other end (I have her name) allows the $75 to be taken off but she says to the installer that they should charge me double because I made a stink!!!!! Now this is after I have waited again all day for an install. Guess what *-----, I have another job and things to do as well!!!!! Never again!!!!

Be careful here, the deposit you make to the dealer is not refundable. There fore the terrible service you get from Carolina Carport dispatches and set up crews can not be turned away without loosing money. Not on time and you must work to there schedule or they screw you over. You the consumer are at their beck and call not the other way around 4-6 week delivery is based upon number of buildings in your area they can do In one day apparently. No working with you, no way to complain to anyone above the local office dispatchers or get to management so you can resolve it properly. Find another dealer in your local area to work with.

Delivery and install scheduled for Monday 2/23. I ask are you sure, they are predicting a winter storm. high in the 30s and precip. Answer is yes. I informed them several times I have to drive 110 miles Sunday night and take a day off work to get to the install site. If they are going to cancel, I need to before I have to go out. The woman I spoke with assured me they would call Sunday if they were not going to be there Monday. On Sunday, the forecast for Monday is a high of 24 and 70% chance of winter mix with accumulations less than an inch.. No call, so I go out to our property Sunday night. The sleet starts about 3:00 am as predicted and we had about a half inch by morning. Monday morning at 9:00, they call and ask if they can reschedule for Thursday. Then they drop the bombshell. The first scheduled install for Monday was supposed to be near Tyler, TX. Then, they were supposed to come install mine. How the heck are they going to install a structure in Tyler in the morning and drive 230 miles to my location near Breckenridge and install a 20x36 building the same day? .Even if the weather had been good, it would have been impossible to install it when they told me they would. So, I wasted a day of vacation and got to drive 110 miles home on icy roads because 1) they did not do what they said they would and 2) they scheduled two jobs 230 miles apart for the same crew on the same day. We'll see what happens when they reschedule.
Review: Carolina Carports installed a enclosed garage for me and a few months later it started leaking, I looked at the roof and saw a crack where they had not screwed it in properly, I called and they told me they had to charge 50 dollars to come look at it, a guy came out and looked and said it was my foundation was uneven and said it wasnt there fault and basically said they would have to take down the whole building and put it back up, I had my foundation checked out and this was not the case, and also found out that my brother had the same issue with his garage and they also had the same excuse which was uneven foundation, I called and they said they would have to get the original builder to come back and inspect, the day came and they never showed up, so I called back and told them and they had no record of the appointment and she said she would call me back and set something up, its been 2 weeks and still havent heard anything from them, ive called multiple times and always get someone who is very rude on phone, ive been trying to get this leak fixed for 4 months now and no luck with these people, look into another carport companyDesired Settlement: I would like a refund for the inspection and partial refund to hire someone who will fix my building and get it done right and quick
I live in KS. I ordered via an ordering site here in my state a 2 car sized carport. I ordered this Nov. 7th 2014. They told me 8 weeks. It is now January 7th, and I still have no carport. (14 weeks),I had to put 10% down, about $70. I call them and they keep postponing it. I have been put on hold 2 of the 3 times I called. One time I had to hang up because my phone died. I either want my 10% money back, or a phone call from them to find out when it's coming. This company is terrible. When I called in Dec, they told me they were closed for 2 weeks for the holiday yet they were back logged to September. Seriously? Why are they taking 2 weeks off if they are back logged? I'm angry! I'm considering filing a report with the Revdex.com although it may do no good since they are not affiliated with them.
Carolina Carport has built two metal building on my property.
The cost of the building includes delivery and labor.
I am very satisfied with both buildings.
got a late start getting my area ready, due to me working away...but I ordered 9-9-15 with the site ready...24 x 21 x 9 Vertical roof/sides/gables came 10-30-15 as promised...the crew arrived late morning...no fault of theirs, since the person who's building was to be put up the day before didn't have his concrete base right...the crew led by Marcello Ocampo never stopped for the next 7 hours...he was very polite, and answered every question I had...for a young man, he was very experienced...if I put another up, I wish he would be the one to do it...
I understand some customers complaints about crews not showing up on the day or time promised...
its usually not the crews fault...weather is a big factor...traveling time may play into it...customer saying site ready/level and its not...
maybe CCI could have crew leader call in to let them know if theres a delay, and CCI could forward to customer...
After placing an order for a metal carport to be delivered in NJ on June 8th, 2015, I was quoted a 4-8 week window for delivery. Customer service would not specify any information, other than repeat "we will call you 3 days before delivery". By August, I was calling once a week and always heard the same response. In October, they called to schedule a delivery within 48 hours, which did not work for me, and my order was placed on hold. "On hold" means that they will restart the process apparently, and I am now looking at a February delivery. This is a total of 9 months wait for an 8 week delivery window. They claim that they are running 2-3 MONTHS behind and that delivery to NJ is "weather pending". It is currently 70 degrees and sunny in NJ. I have reached out to several service managers, and all blame others for the repeated delays. I may be cancelling the order if I do not hear a definite delivery date by New Years Day.
TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE! My contract expired and they never called to check in. Three months past the scheduled delivery date, I got a call about my structure. NEVER order from them. You'd be better off paying an additional $200 to buy from someone else. The customer service is rude, unhelpful, and they tried to push the blame onto other people. Never deal with them. Please.
Review: I ordered this garage November 6th 2013. And still nothing 2/10/14. We were told 3 to 6 weeks and it would be delivered. I thought maybe because of the holiday they were running behind. Another call beginning of January and was told told it is a 10 week delivery. I call again at 12 weeks. Customer service said it was because of weather and that they were helping other companies get their buildings put up so that meant we would have a longer wait. We are now sitting at 14 weeks and still no garage and was told it was still a few weeks out. We are trying to get our deposit back and stop this order. If it was going to be a few month wait I wish they would explain that at the time of ordering. I would not recommend ordering from this company unless you are willing to wait months for delivery. Make sure you order way in advance.Desired Settlement: To get what I ordered delivered asap
