This company fails to deliver or communicate to customersWe were told 4-weeks and now we are almost going on three months waiting for our building Very frustrating when you trust a company to deliver and at such a large purchase No one can provide us a date I called last month and was told it would be here by the end of JuneMy wife called today and spoke to Allison that could not give any dates, just that we are “scheduled” for this monthBuilding was ordered in APRIL and it’s almost the middle of July

I purchased a carport through Carolina Carports local distributor on 8/16,and paid in full with the understanding that it would be installed 8-wkslaterIt is now going on the 17th wk and no carportCarolina Carports has allegedly scheduled install dates, two of which I missed work and of the they were a no call/no show on dates
I am tired of the excusesExcuses being that the installer came back and didn't do any installs, installer is delayed because of weatherI find it had to believe the installer drove miles and turned around and went home, with the next day being a nice dayI left a message for Myra yesterday, another no call/no show date, for her to call me and discuss a full refundI have now turned this over to the West Virginia Attorney General for collection

Would not install my carport and left and never came back I want my deposit back they were also two days late and when they were supposed to be there

**warning** do not buy a carport from this company or from *** *** ***!! They will continuesly drag your installation date out for weeks and even monthsThey will say they have "trailer" issues and cancelThey will cancel for clouds in the sky on days it's not even rainingLike for instance today, they cancelled our installation appointment and there's no chance of rain for the remainder of the day and it's only 1:This is the 4th time they have cancelled on us in two weeks They won't call you in advance and will let you sit around all day waiting for installation and cancel very last minuteBut don't worry they will take your no refundable deposit weeks before any of this so that you will be unable to cancel unless you want to lose moneyYou are better off to buy the material from a department store and install yourselfIf you tell them you just want the material to install yourself, it will not expedite the process and they will be unable to do so if the weather is not and sunnyYou can call and get the run around and the "I'm sorry there's nothing we can do about it"I will tell anyone with a heartbeat to run before giving this company a dime! I cannot fathom how they are still in business

I ordered a carport from *** ***, a dealer for Carolina Carports in Pocomoke City, MarylandThe carport was ordered with a $deposit in April It’s now September and still no carport after I was told it would be installed in 6-weeks*** *** says the company lost my orderCarolina Carports claims they never received an order till August*** *** basically told me to suck it up and waitNeither company seemed to give a *** when I got their productNeither offered any discount for being so negligent with the orderI would recommend that if you need a carport, do not use either *** *** or Carolina Carports*** *** even went so far as to accuse me of delying the process by not selecting a color, when in fact, colors were selected and they failed to fill that portion of the order form inThey both suck royallyTheir respective customer care is nonexistent

My husband and I ordered a carport from Carolina Carports and had a very positive experience It was delivered in eight weeks despite being a very rainy Florida summer and was installed by a very professional crew We are very pleased

The company scheduled a date and then canceled days before deliveryI have called three more times with a promise of the next week and they keep pushing the date out with no delivery in the near future

I ordered my carport on August 16th After contacting them several times I was promised that it would be installed before Thanksgiving That didn't happen due to a family emergency with the crew I was told the week of 12-but this didn't happen They called and gave told me that they would install 12- That didn't happen due to weather in North Carolina Told that they would definitely install on 12-14, which is today Today's call said that they ran into weather and it would be Monday, 12- It is supposed to rain on Monday, so I doubt that it will happen - again I have cancelled Dr's and other appointments to accommodate them, but what can I do now? I want my carport, and its too late to order from someone else

I signed a contract on may 21,with carolina carports for construction of a 30xmetal building plus a foot shed on the foot side I made an initial deposit of $ I was promised this building would be delivered and installed within 4-weeks from may On July 12,I was requested to make an additional payment of $for construction to start July 16,I made this payment via credit cardOn July I was advised their contractor had issues and would not be there on the 16th They now have $of my money, and will not say when or if they will showI have talked to several different representatives of this company, but none will give me a commitmentI just want them to deliver on the contract

I recently had a carport installed by CCI and had no problem with time of delivery, like most people are having, but had a MAJOR problem with the quality of the job and the finished project I refused to pay do to the carport being out of level by over 6" I had the pad properly installed and there was no excuse for how un-level the carport was except for the inability of workers to level an 18x36' carport At first they said they would come back to fix it because the pics I sent were ridiculously obvious Two days before they were suppose to come back they called to say they did their part (of installing the carport) and it was my fault that the shed looked the way it did They refuse to come fix their crappy work and said they are turning me over to collections This company just wants your money! They could care less about the quality of the work they are putting out there I would NEVER recommend them to anyone that is looking for a metal carport!!

Contacted Carolina Carports in early May to have an extension on my existing Carolina Structure
Place a deposit of $for the extension on 5/25/
A date was scheduled to install the extension on 7/12/ However, the installers DID NOT Show up and never contacted me And Carolina Carports never contacted me either
I have a signed contract with this company and want my extension installed immediately

I placed an order for a carport and received a approxdate of delivery Then they called and said that due to them not being able to get a hold of me( I was in the hospital for days in ICU)
to verify the order that they had to postpone the shipping for a month I was next given a delivery date of mid OctoberWhen I asked them if they needed to go over the order with me they said, no we have the info right hereSo why was it postponed a month?
Next they called and set the delivery date of October 28thThen another call postponing it until October 31, then another call setting things back until Nov1st Each time I had to cancel doctor's appointments or other commitments This is totally bad business policyI should have been more careful and checked the company out better I thought I was dealing with a local company (their agent in Labelle Florida and they would stay on top of the order.) I am sorry now I did business with them at all Since you the Revdex.com have not been able to do anything about this company's complaints I don't guess there is any sense in going any further with this complaintSo just add another dissatisfied customer to your growing list

Carolina Carports has exhibited a pattern of poor customer service relative dealing with my questionsWhen I’ve called them, they have put me on an extended hold as they contact a second party to deal with my issuesAs well they offered no help with determining which product I should purchase which led to my ordering the wrong productWhen I confronted their customer service employee about not helping me choose the right product, she responded that they do not help customers choose the correct productUnfortunately I chose a product that when delivered to me would not fit my driveway, as they required more space than the width of the actual carportI had no idea about this requirement because they didn’t inform me of the requirementTherefore, to ultimately receive the correct size carport I would have to pay a restocking feeI feel this company is only concerned with selling their product, and expanding their customer base, and do not offer adequate customer service

I purchased a x Carolina carport garage on 6-27-I was told at that time that I would receive my building between three and five weeks After the fifth week I made a phone call to Carolina carports and was advised that that was incorrect that delivery was usually between six and eight weeks The eight week come and gone without any contact from Carolina carports so I made a call again and was advised that due to weather they were behind and I would be contacted to days before delivery I asked about getting my deposit returned and was told that there was no return on a deposit I have been waiting now for weeks on a building that I paid $ down payment on and all I want is a date for install which I have still not received This is no way to do business

On 7/6/I paid a deposit to Carolina carports to install a awning over my RvI was told it would me installed in weeksUntrue! After poor communication from the coit was installed on 9/That's over weeksWhen the installers arrived they discovered they only had open tube of roof sealer (not enough)I provided a tube from my truck(still not enough sealer)After the install I emailed my sales rep from the co and informed him of the problem and that the roof leaks in several spots due to not enough sealerI stated that I did not expect them to drive all the way back, rather just send me the sealer and I will resolve the issue myselfThat was on 10/Today is 11/and after several attempts to contact the rep, I received no reply to my email, no roof sealer! All I have received is a leaky roof, lies, and no service after the sale I do NOT recommend doing business with this coYou WILL receive VERY poor customer service, VERY poor service after the sale, and lie

With such poor ratings by the Revdex.com and an "ALERT" warning, I was really worried about ordering my carport from Carolina Carport, IncI researched other major carport dealers and found that most had the same rating and "ALERT" as Carolina CarportsWith this info, I was left the choice of taking a chance with Carolina Carport or not purchasing a carportThe latter was not an optionI purchased my 18X36Xcarport on Feband was installed on March WOW! That was quickThe two installers who installed the carport, Ulises & Jose, were very professional, hard working, and informativeThey asked me how I wanted certain things done and gave me tips for better ground supportI would recommend them every dayThe quality of the frame and siding was top notch along with the install

We purchased a carport from them Octand they stated it would be Dec1st when it would be deliveredThey called about the delivery and set it for Friday, Dec8thNo one showed up and so I called the next weekThe lady I talked to said it was delivered and set up on that dateI told her, UM NO...I am looking at where it IS to go and there is nothing! She went in to check and sure enough, it is still thereShe has made other dates for delivery and all cancelledShe said she would get a discount for the trouble and yesterday morning she called to set up a time for today, Jan11, and called back minutes later saying she, again, had to cancel and we could not get a discount
We are so upset and aggravated, it's not funnyEnough of this...we just want our deposit back and do something else
