My husband has liver damage and takes a medication called lactulose*** has issues covering this so we need to open a TAR to get it approvedEvery month there is a delay between the pharmacy, *** and the Dr office so we end up having to pay out of pocket for a portion of the prescription and we are promised that we will get reimbursed once the prescription gets approvedThe prescription always goes through but we never have gotten a refund because every time I go in and ask (with my receipt) they say that they cannot do itSo not only do I pay a portion out of pocket but then CVS bills *** for the full amount so essentially they get paid twice for a portion of the prescription

I called CVS pharmacy on 3-9-to get a price quote on prescriptions I later called back and told another representative to e-mail or call me before the prescriptions for me to give approval I never got a phone call or e-mail I called CVS Pharmacy a couple of days later and was told the order had already been shipped and for a total amount that I was not quoted I told her representative that I did not approve the order, as I had told a representative I spoke to I was then told that someone would look into it and call me back The first person who called me back said she would give it to the return department and someone would call me I told her I don't want the medicine, why I didn't want it, and that I didn't approve to have it shipped to me When the representative from the Returns department called me back, she said there was nothing I could do and the only conversation they have a recording of was the one where I got the price quote They didn't have record of th
I have cvs caremart plan through my husbandI know my plans benefitsMy doctor have prescribed this medication for several years nowIts the brand, not generic as I had bad reaction to it at startThis has been recorded since starting with Cvs insuranceEvery time I am renewing the medication I am running into obsticles with the insurance because it is written as a brand by the doctorOngoing patternLast night I drew the line after having a very unpleasant phone call with one of the phone associates named *** (10/16/2017)I had called my doctor to fill the medication several days before and when picking it up at the pharmacy the cvs tells me to pay double the price I usually doAfter talking to the rep at the insurance they told me I have to have the doctor call them to appeal to get it for the price I usually pay which is $125/prescription days supplyThis I have paid this year and never heard of this claim beforeUsually its about doctor did not fill out something co

We have had nothing but issues with CaremarkSo seriously disappointed in this RX carrierMy doctor had to file appeals for necessary life sustaining medsThat took multiple appeals and getting an HR involved etcNow they are denying the same meds they previously approved beforeAfter the last appeal that was approved (as I am allergic to other options,) caremark sent my doctor documents and said as long as I had the same policy and plan this med would be covered and no more appeals for this med would be needed as I am allergic to all other similar optionsNow they are denying it again and telling me to try other generic meds that I am allergic to or say I will have to again have my doctor file an appeal and wait for them to make a decision IF they will approve to cover it again or notHow hard is it to know it's my only option as I am allergic to all other similar medications and it is life sustaining and necessary for me to take this medicationWorst RX provider to deal with
Well, our pharmacy insurance changed to cvs Caremark April 1st, 2016, which you can only get that monthly prescription at cvs, *** or mail order even though my pharmacy is 2-minutes away on my way home.(my pharmacy gives me accentives towards gift card for food which we use as a family of 7!)
I don't trust mail order around our area, have it sitting in the mailbox
Cvs and *** are both over minutes away
I appealed once and was supposedly denied but never told until I called! I'm disappointed that a company would deny me or anybody to use the pharmacy of their choice! I read cvs Caremark comments on Revdex.com, almost unhappy people and I don't want to get caught up in that mess! It should be illegal to not get your prescriptions at certain places and only through place of their choiceI'm not the only one but this is disappointing!

administers the prescription drug benefit for the *** *** ** *** health plan, of which Mr*** *** is a member Thank you for the opportunity to address Mr***’s concerns regarding his plan design. This letter is in response to Mr***’s concerns regarding his plan design. Mr*** was upset that he has to fill his specialty medications through our specialty pharmacy here at Caremark CVS/Caremark is not forcing Mr*** to us our Specialty pharmaciesThe Decision to exclusively use Caremark specialty was that of Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Mr***’s employerMr*** would need to discuss this issue further with his employer’s benefits office as it is not Caremark y driving where Mr*** is filling his specialty medicationsThe second issue Mr*** had was regarding his co-pay assistance card. Caremark billing does not manage Co-pay assistance programs on individual basisWhen patients are approved by these programs they are advised in writing upon approval of the terms of their coverage and to include the dollar amount of assistance for how long the coverage will be in placeRetail pharmacies have the ability to run claims to all insurances prior to patients picking up their medications thus making them able to communicate assistance coverage to patientsCaremark specialty at times processes co-pay assistance plans after the medications have been deliveredThe forms of payment are taken at the time of orderIn most cases due to current processes patient payments are taken within the same day of order delivery. Caremark does not charge patients until all insurances have been billed and we’ve been notified what the patient owes. This process in some cases could take up to days due to the type of insurance being billedMost unforeseen billing issues on our part or the part of the insurance companyMr*** has been provided with this information and is aware of his options going forward.Should you or Mr*** have any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me at 1-*** My office hours are Monday thru Friday from 9:a.muntil 5:p.mCentral Standard time. I recently received prescription medication from CVS/Caremark and I was charged an amount of money CVS did not apply the manufacturers secondary insurance card with an rxbin and group number They told me that this is not their practice This is incorrect because I receive specialty medication from them as well where they do apply the manufacturers secondary insurance card I would like for CVS/Caremark to discount my prescriptions, observe the secondary insurance card that they do in other aspects of their business In addition, the fact that they did not communicate that they do not take these secondary forms of insurance was never communicated to me at the time of filing This is deceptive business practice and should not occur in health care where peoples lives and health are effected by business decisions Since they take it for the specialty pharmaceutical my understanding would be that they would accept it for these other medications as well
CVS took an unauthorized $off my debit cardI did not authorize or approve that paymentI had just returned to work on Sept 6th, I had been on LOA since April 5th They shorted my check some hours and I'm currently in the process of getting another check cut to for the hours I was shortedI went to make my power payment this morning, it's due to be disconnected/interrupted on TuesdayBut I couldn't make that payment, they sucked all but $off my cardAnd for another thing, I don't owe them $I filed a complaint with Consumer Financial Protection BureauThis is exactly why people don't want to do business like thisAnd for another reason, they're telling me I can't get one of my prescriptions refilled until Sept 29th, when the local CVS Pharmacy has the same prescription filled but wants to charge me times the price of the mail order

On 8/10/16, I had a Rx called into CVS by my dermatologistI verified exactly what my dermatologist would be sending in ahead of time, logged into my CVS account and "Checked the drug cost" for *** 0.1% lotionThe drug was shown as $cost to me, so I went ahead and had the Rx filledToday, I check my healthcare MRA account and noticed that I had been billed $for this Rx, which was paid out of my healthcare MRAI called CVS Caremark to complain about the issue and they took no responsibilityI asked for my issue to be elevated and the third person I spoke with was *** (employee ID ***) in the Department of Executive RecoveryI am extremely frustrated because I followed all of the rules to check everything ahead of time and make sure the cost wasn't going to be too high, and I still got stuck with an astronomical billCVS is taking no ownership for their deceptive website which inaccurately projects drug costsIf consumers can't rely on this tool, it should be remove

I don't know when it changed but Caremark has managed to have removed the "Care" from CaremarkThey should change their name to “DontCaremark”Automation is supposed to enhance customer service, not replace it I was having my meds filled at my local CVS but for some unexplained reason they would only give me a 30-day supply instead of 90-day supply even though my prescriptions were for a 90-day supplyNo one at CVS could explain why so I decided to try Caremark mail order another try and hoped they had fixed the glitchBoy was I wrongIt’s worse I used to be able to request when and where I wanted my medicationsNow they just automatically send them even after I call to specifically ask for them not to do soI have never signed up for auto refills yet they still continue to automatically mail refills on their schedule without me requesting themI was planning a move to another state and wanted to make sure that no meds would be automatically mailed to my old address so I ca

On December 12, 2017, I called my local pharmacy to renew a prescription This prescription is made as a result of a monthly blood test to determine blood levels and can (and has) change monthly dosage dependent upon the aforementioned test resultsIt is imperative that these tests are run monthly as the patient is pregnant and directly affects the unborn baby's growth and development Upon calling to renew, I was told I would have to get a day supply and to contest any issue with CVS directly, or pay full price for a day supplyWhen I spoke with *** at CVS customer service, she told me that I had several options I could wait to get a medical necessity letter from my doctor, which means I would not be able to get my prescription immediately, which puts my unborn baby at risk because the pills are critical to it's developmentI could pay full price until my doctor writes a note, but those pills would not be reimbursed I could refill my prescription for days, but I w
