I woke up to having no heat I've never had to have a company for my heat and I remembered seeing their commercial on tv and immediately called Care Temp to schedule for a technician to come to my house to fix my heat A technician arrived within an hour to my home to fix my heatI needed parts for my heater and the technician had the parts I needed on his truck and my heat was working shortly after that I am EXTREMELY impressed with the customer service I received and with the knowledge of the technicianI will continue to use Care Temp!! Thank you Care Temp for helping me so quickly!!
No heat service call on 3/10/I'm an Electronics Engineer with decades of experience with designing, repairing, purchasing, and modifying circuit boardsI did multiple price comparisons of repair parts which included [redacted] and [redacted] I could buy for about $for bothhrs of labor and my bill was 1,No possible justification for this ridiculous chargeSubsequent investigation within my and adjacent communities revealed similar overcharges

NEVER USE CARE TEMP
Came home from work to no heatCalled Care Temp and they dispatched a tech within hours, greatHe found the problem but did not have the partThe office would have to call the following day with price and availability$for service call and $for diagnosticWith tax $and not fixedThey called in the morning and said they can come out and it was going to be $I looked up the part and it was $I asked the receptionist if I can speak to a manager or tech to get an explanation why would it cost $to replace a $FUSEShe refused to transfer me to anyone elseThey wanted over $to replace a $FUSE

This company is a very tricky, I learn when I called them the first time to check my heating system, they actually scratch the maintenance previous visits for the original company, so I can not try to get the guaranty over the equipmentI gave to them the job, they installed, all the equipment, installed new gas pipes connectionsbut they leave an small gas leakthey said don't worry our guaranty cover all our job, they now denied they worked on those pipesthere is like a family company, so you can't complain to any onethey acting a good persons suggest me a plummer to do what the husband said a big job to fix the leak, sure are the plummer in association with theirs bad practiceThe gas company were there and sent some body to fixed, with in an hour, they also agreed, caretemp should be responsibleBut they are not honest at allI am learn those wife and husband going inside of the homes making more damages to get more business for them and for theirs associates
I called Care Temp last week because my mother's home was degrees and her AC was not working And I just want to say that I am VERY PLEASED with the FAST call back and professionalism I received from FredI was very worried that I would call a whole bunch of companies and it would take hours for someone to go out to her house being I don't live in the same state as her and I felt helpless He was at my mother's house within an hour and within 10-minutes, he had my mother's AC working Fred reassured me that he would take care of my mother for me and HE DID!! I am so glad that I used Care Temp and I will continue to use them!! THANK YOU TO FRED & CARE TEMP FOR TAKING EXCELLENT CARE OF MY MOTHER AND HELPING HER WHEN SHE NEEDED HELP!!!
“I am a Military Veteran and I went into Care Temp because my AC Unit was shot I needed a new one, I did get other quotes before I went to Care Temp and “NO One” compared to themI went in one day and they had me installed the next day because of a cancellationI would recommend anyone who needs AC and or Heat work doneCall Care Temp 1st you will not be disappointed!!!!!!!!!! On 1/16/I had a ceiling fan installed by Care TempAfter the workmen (not sure if they were licensed workers) left, I lost electric power throughout my home But within minutes it came back on I also noticed the fan was working 24/7..I thought that was strange, but I'm not an electricianEventually I lost most of the electricity in my homeAll circuit breakers were fineI called a licensed electrician who noticed that the wires pertaining to the attic fan were lose and eventually there was no connection, therefore loss of powerHe also had to install a new thermostat

My family and I came home to find that our AC was working. It was 95 degrees outside and my house was so hot! My wife and I had called several companies and Care Temp was the only company that answered my phone call. I received a call back, 3 minutes after I made the initial call to this company. We did not have a contract with any company. I was so pleased when she told me that she would have a tech out that night. Since my system was old, my wife and I decided to have it replaced because I did not want to pay to have it fixed and come home again to no AC. We knew we could not stay in the house with it being so hot and my wife started calling local hotels but the tech immediately made a call and told us we could have a window unit and scheduled us to have the system replaced the next day. Coming home to a HOT house and broken AC caused many issues for my family but Care Temp showed us that everything would be ok and it was! I AM BEYOND PLEASE AND GRATEFL FOR THE FAST, RELIABLE SERVICDE THAT WE RECEIVED FROM CARE TEMP!! I WILL RECOMMEND THEM TO EVERYONE!!!! THANK YOU CARE TEMP!!!
I spoke with the son and everything is taken care of. I explained how warranty works which he was familiar with being he is in the automotive business and he understands that he has not had a service contract with us in the past few years so he is being charged for the service call and also the...
labor for the part after we diagnosis it. He is scheduled for today, Monday June 30th and customer is happy. Customer also stated that he was going to contact you and let you know that we took care of everything.
Care Temp HEATING in Toms River NJ serviced my parents heating system May 1, 2015 and stepped through the ceiling leaving a large hole in the dining room. It took 4 months of calling to get the hole fixed. Each call the person answering the phone was rude and disrespectful claiming it was not their fault and they didn't do it on purpose. They started the repair and then didn't show several times to finish. The repair was unprofessional at best. They are a careless rude arrogant incompetent company that does not understand customer service. They made a mistake that could have been corrected in 2 days and instead dragged their feet claiming it was not a priority. Worst service ever. [redacted] -- the owner did not have the decency to return my calls even though I left many messages and nobody at the company apologized not once. The person answering the phone is the rudest most disrespectful secretary on the planet. She did not return calls and was testy with every call.
NEVER, EVER, EVER, DO BUSINESS WITH CARE TEMP. The company should be called Does not Care Temp.

Review: [redacted]: Lost all Freon
For her "piece of mind", my wife likes to have our A/C Units checked at the beginning of each season.
She received a referral for using your company from neighbors across the street.
We had already been using both units during the last two weeks in May and they appeared to function normally.
Chris (from your Company) came out on Tuesday, June 3rd and said that both units were operating as normal and no Freon was required.
At that time [redacted] offered my wife a Service Agreement, that she signed.
By Saturday June 7th, (4 days later) the Front A/C unit
(which had never given us any problem or needed repairs or Freon) - did not seem to be working.
[redacted] came out that evening and said there seemed to be evidence of Freon around where he connected his gauge - and then advised us that the unit was completely out of Freon - and given its age, should be replaced.
Not willing to believe that a unit that was diagnosed as 100% on TUESDAY was COMPLETELY OUT of FREON on SATURDAY - I called someone that I had used in the past.
He came out this Wednesday, June 11th.
His suggestion was to fill the system with Nitrogen in lieu of using the high $$$$ Freon - and see if it holds.
As soon as he connected the Nitrogen - he immediately said "there's your leak".
He said the King Valve was not more than "hand tight" and unless that valve is good and snug (as with a wrench) - the King Valve is notorious for leaking.
I can tell you that I had no idea what a King Valve was - and I certainly did not go out, after [redacted] was here, and let all the Freon out my Condenser.
So after a $200.00 Invoice for Service Call and Freon my A/C unit is and has been holding the charge and working perfectly.
I believe a Reimbursement for that Service Call is in order.

([redacted])Desired Settlement: REFUND OF MY PAYMENT That Included A SERVICE CHARGE AND 3lbs of FREON BY A QUALIFIED HVAC TECHNICIAN.
I tried to be nice about explaining the circumstances but since I have received no reply from emails sent to both the Office and the Owner, the bottom line is: The Care Temp Service Technician named [redacted] who came to my home, OBVIOUSLY, DID NOT KNOW WHAT HE WAS DOING - and during the hose removal of his gauges from the King Valve - he Opend-up (unseated) the King valve which, through his negligence, allowed all of my Freon to discharge. The second Technician from Care Temp named [redacted] was clueless as to the fact that he could have suggested running Nitrogen into the lines to check for a leak and was only interested in trying to "rip us off" for a New System. We did in fact Not need a New System - all we needed was for the King Valve to be re-tightened (seated) and the Unit filled with 3 Lbs of Freon THAT WAS ALREADY IN THE SYSTEM - BEFORE Care Temp ever touched our Air Conditioner

Review: My Mother who is 75 years old and suffers from cronick COPD had a new system installed by this company back in 2007 and they gave her a 12 year warranty on the whole Deal. Now their is a problem with the blower and all I get from the receptionist is the run around how no one is In the office, this has gone on for a week now, I had to go out and buy a window unit for her bedroom so she could breath. I heard the company was sold a few years ago, but when you buy an exsisting company, you also buy the liability of the guarantee also. They are ducking me now, when I call there the receptionist hangs up on me, because they don't want to honer the warranty.Desired Settlement: I will accept and Refund on the Blower Motor after I have it replaced, I will not ask for labor reimbursement, I will not at this point have them touch anything, I don't Trust them. Next I will Require that they pay for an extended warranty from a company of my choice for the remainder of the 12 year period as they obviously aren't going to honer their warranty. If I do not get these from their company I will file suite in small claims and also with the department of consumer affairs for fraud.
