I found Cardinal on craigslist after having obtained quotes through Costco and from a contractor who did some other A/C work on my home previously. I sent a message through their website in the evening and received a call the next morning. Cardinal sent out its team to give me an estimate the very next day. The price was right, the unit was right, the advice was spot on, and all was installed and working well within a week. I would recommend Cardinal to anyone looking for new HVAC installation.

Its a real pleasure to find an honest, professional, friendly, competitive company in the AC and heating industry. Our old AC system failed and after many non return calls to other companies, I called Cardinal and spoke to [redacted], who is the sale manager of Cardinal. While on the phone, [redacted] put a Trane AC system quote together for me and it was several thousand dollars below any other AC companies. But the great news is he said his crew could be out today and remove and install the new Trane system. [redacted], [redacted] and [redacted] arrive and did a very professional installation. Our 15 year old Goodman split system heat pump / AC unit gave up the ghost last Wednesday. Called Cardinal Heating & Cooling after our AC company told us they needed a week to get a new unit in. Cardinal installed a new air conditioner Friday morning, and gave us a great deal on a Rheem / Ruud system. [redacted] coordinated all of our special needs (removal crane, dry wall tech) efficiently and effectively. The new unit is working wonderfully and we have a 10 year compressor/parts warranty with a 2 year labor warranty. The installation crew worked really hard, were extremely polite, cleaned up and did a GREAT job. We highly recommend Cardinal Heating & Cooling. AAA+ for professionalism and service. Based on our experience regarding purchase, installation, and one required warranty service after installation of a packaged rooftop HVAC unit for a rental property, we highly recommend Cardinal. Their pricing was aggressive, the responsiveness of German (sales and service manager), and technician was excellent. The unit had a malfunction about 30 minutes after installing techinician left. It was already approaching dusk but German had tech return and spend well over an hour and included for no charge the needed refrigerant and supplies that warranty does not cover. We found the company on Craigslist from our home in North Carolina, so to me this makes the experience of more value. Thanks again to German and colleagues.

Review: Purchased an a/c unit form Cardinal Heating and Cooling on 07-07-2014 from sales manager [redacted]. Business hired an outside contractor to do work for him, which was not disclosed in contract. Sub-contractor poorly installed A/C unit damaging roof and never disclosing the damage. Contacted [redacted] from Cardinal Heating and Cooling LLC on 11-17-2014 about the damage I had just found after going up to the roof and he informed me he would repair the roof. [redacted] agreed and scheduled his techs to come out to repair roof seven different times yet they never showed up. Roof is still damaged and leaks when it rains.Desired Settlement: Repair the roof and leak stains caused by damaged roof.
