Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Please do provide our ORIGINAL OFFER which clearly we offered $OTD (OUT THE DOOR) which we stated since the moment we arrived at your dealership and as all dealerships know OTD means final prices including sale price, taxes and feesWhen we asked for copies you did not give us the original offer because you know that this will show that we had asked for OTD pricesThis is the reason why we thought the numbers given to us were the OTD prices the entire time and your sales and financial person did not bother to clear this up for us at any timeYour financial person at no point offered us to read/review the papers if he had we would have picked this up right awayWe noticed five mins after and right away let you know but no one cared when it could have been very simple to come to an agreement but clearly you took advantage of our misunderstanding and trustAfter numerous attempts to come to an agreement you told us it wasn't your fault that we misunderstood the numbers and were done dealing with us and hearing about OTD and had five mins to leave your dealership, which confirms we had been asking for OTD pricesClearly your dealership has no ethics and was scared to lose a sale and prefers negative reviews and bad reputation over customer satisfactionWe were willing to renegotiate and even make an offer on a different vehicle but you had no intention of dealing with usYour reaction and lack of help to us in this issue is why this is so disturbingDue to your non coorporation with us and keeping us liable for a contract that we would have never signed but did due to mistakenly trusting your employees we had NO CHOICE but to take the car Sincerely, [redacted]
Well I? hope we get this resolved soon Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Sincerely, [redacted] T [redacted]
Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: ? The problem was that we did have our banks approval letter the gentleman that helped us at the dealer told us that your dealer and our banks were not linked up through your computer system or something of that nature so he asked us to take the purchase order to our bank the next morning which we did? At no point did we accept financing through your in house financing program at no time while talking with your dealer manager Steve or with Steve the salesman helping us did anyone bring up in house financing at any point of our conversation or when we signed papers? We would have not agreed to in-house because that was the whole point of us going to our bank beforehand and getting the loan through them? ? At no time what so ever have I told progressive not to pay the remaining balance as of matter of fact if you feel it would help for me to reach out to progressive and tell them to cover it then I will? I want to get this matter resolved and move forward, I know I can't buy a car and return it after being totaled? However if the bank and insurance were telling me I was not the legal owner yet because the paperwork between your dealer and the bank had not gone through yet, so I am still confused on all that because like I keep saying we never knowingly agree to any in house financing? If we could work together to get the insurance companies to take care of this then I am all for it I want to work together not against anyone to resolve this matter? My question also would be if the insurance companies take care of it then would I get back my downpayment? ? Sincerely, [redacted]

Hello and thank you for your help in this matterMy name is [redacted] I'm the finance manager at Car Club Inc[redacted] came to our dealership and bought the RidgelineShe wanted to go to her bank to secure financing, we agreed, but to protect our interest we did a finance contract that we could finance our selves or with a different lending institution [redacted] agreed and signed the contractThe problem was that the vehicle was involved in an accident before they could go to their bank and secure financing, this was a day or two after they bought the vehicleThe vehicle was deemed a total loss and the customer thought she could just return the vehicle to us and that we would give them their down payment backWe tried to explain to her that that is not how it works, she bought the car, took delivery and totaled it, the financing part has nothing to do with itWe tried to work with the Insurance companies involved, because [redacted] was actually hit by someone and the other person was at faultGeico, who represents the person at fault said that their customer only had $10,of liability coverage, we tried to get Progressive, [redacted] 's insurance, to cover the difference but it seems like [redacted] has told them not to pay because she doesn't think that she should be responsible [redacted] also went to the DMV and told them that she never signed a financing contract with us and that we had committed fraudAn investigator came in and agreed that everything seemed to be in order and that she was going to explain to the customer that we did everything right. We are still trying to resolve this matter with the insurance companies, Im sure you agree that we cannot sell a vehicle and just take it back after it is totaledWe also advised the customer that if the amount we get from the insurance is more than the balance on the account, that money would be forwarded to her.If there is anything else you need regarding this case, please let me know.Thank you for your time[redacted]
First of all I want to say that we really appreciate [redacted] he's bought a few cars from us and referred plenty of friends and family to usAnd I hope this unfortunate event doesn't change the relation ship between us.As of this moment, the vehicle is in the mechanic shop that originally safety inspected the vehicle and they are doing the best to pinpoint the problemYou need to understand that this is a used vehicle with 84k miles and it will never be to the standards of the [redacted] dealership that you took it to, they don't sell vehicles this old and we cannot make them newWe have an independent shop safety inspect all our vehicles and we trust them to do a good job when they inspect the carsIn average we spend $1,per car in the shop and if for whatever reason, like in your case, something comes up after the purchase, we always do the right thingThat doesn't mean we will replace all the parts that the [redacted] store recommendedThe shop has re inspected the vehicle and sent it to other shops to figure out what that thumping noise is and they couldn't figure it out, at this point they are in the process of replacing the rear axle, that will hopefully fix the problem
Complaint # [redacted] ? Car Club will deal with ASI, no other shopsIf you choose not ? to take the car there, that will be your choice Let me know if you want to take it to ASI ? Sincerely, Brian
Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I don't trust that company as I have stated prior to you in my emailsWhy would anyone want to take their car to a company who does such a horrible job, they are there to serve you and save you money they are not there to ensure my car is safeMy car has already been fixed, I'm only asking for partial compensation not even full, is your company that corrupt that you can't even sell safe cars? I want half compensation period or I will not accept and we will have to settle things legally.? Sincerely, [redacted]

Regarding ID ***We did receive a call from Ms ***'s father regarding a problem with the vehicles run ability shortly after the purchaseWe agreed to take care of the problem at no cost to the customerOnce the vehicle arrived at the service facility it was diagnosed as a
simple coil pack issuethe vehicle was as promised repaired at no cost to the customer and I've never heard of any further issues until just recently ( which would be approximately six months since the repairs were performed)Not once did the customer contact me with a complaint during that timeThe customer's claim of issues now has not been verified with any form of invoice or receipt of serviceNot to mention that what the customer has claimed was fixed by the Lexus dealership, was not even the same parts as the service facility replacedAt this point why would reimburse any moneys with no proof of service? If you have any further questions feel free to call ***

Thank you for your responseThis is not a matter of accepting or not accepting the inhouse financing, yes, your bank was probably not part of our network of banksHowever, and all dealers do this, when customers wish to go and get their own financing, we do what is called a back up contract, which you signed, this is to protect our interest in case something like this ever happens, or the bank declines the loan for the customerAt that point we can place the contract with any bank as long as the terms remain the same as in the contract, but we cannot just let the customer take the vehicle for a few days and return it if they cannot secure financing on their own or like in this case, the vehicle gets totaled. We never sent the loan to any banks, because that would be wrong, we are not going to get a loan from a bank on a vehicle that was just totaled and we didn't even do inhouse financing, we are not charging any interest on this, we just had to register the vehicle and list us as the lien holder so we can work with the insurance companies and we have been doing that for a while now, and like you, we want this to be over.We just think that you took this to levels that were not necessary, when it really is a simple matter, you bought the vehicle, you totaled it and it is still yoursAnd like I said before if the insurance company pays us more than what the balance is on this contract, that is your money and we will send you a check for the difference. Thank you
Re; *** *** ID *** Mr.*** did purchase a vehicle form our dealership on 7-11-The customers version of events are unfortunately quite different from documents proveThe customer did negotiate a lower price than our advertised sale priceWe have proof of this by a number of
signed documents prior to the sale and the contract documentsFurthermore, the customer did not pay $10,for this vehicleThe negotiated price was $plus tax and licenseThis is clearly a case of buyers remorse based on a price the customer claims to have seen elsewhere on a different vehicleOur company did nothing wrong and our documentation backs that upFurthermore, the customer has taken delivery of the vehicle with no other complaintsIf you have any further questions please let me knowThank you, Robb *** F*

Like I said before we took it to the shop we normally use, which is an independent, not our shop, and others to inspect the vehicle after that we sent it to a transmission shopThey all said the vehicle is fine.As far as me telling you that it is not my problem and get outYou know that is a lieWhen you came in you didn't say anything to me, all I said was I took the vehicle on a extended test drive and it's not making that noise anymoreWhy are you lying about that? I've always been polite to you and your wife and tried to help as much as I could, and I have never said something like that to any oneThe vehicle is fine according to all our sources so there's nothing else to do in this case.Thank you
Well I hope we get this resolved soon
