I went to homedepot store located 6003 Oxon hill Rd MD 20745.
Store manager's name is Nicky. I went to the store this morning and went in at 5:55am. The store was opened. After, I went in to the store , the manager kicked me out from the store and said that it wasnt time to get in. However, the doors were open to come in. I came in early so I can rent the insulation machine. I bought the materials I needed and then I went to the check out desk and no one was there to assist. I asked the manager if she can help me, she refused to. She stated that the person who knows everything about this purchase came in at 7:00am. So I waited with the insulation items at the store waiting for someone to help me. The store manager was very unprofessional , unpleasant and at the same time she stated that didnt care about this bad review. I felt unwelcome and ashamed at front of the other employees there when she kicked me out. I have never been treated in a store like this.
To Home Depot Corporate Office:
I shopped at your store in Kennewick WA. St, Highway 395 and 27Ave. The date was 03/07/2016. However, this shopping experience did not start off very well, beginning in the parking lot. I exited my car and locked myself out. I walked into the store with my son and called AAA for a car lock-out. They told me there was a high volume of car lock-outs in our area and it would be an hour and a half wait. We couldn't go anywhere so my son and I proceeded to walk through the store looking for the item I had intended to purchase. My son then informed me, if we cannot get into the car in an hour and a half, he would be late for a Doctor's appointment at the V.A. He is a disabled USMC Veteran. Home Depot did not have the item I needed so we decided to sit on the riding lawn mowers and wait for the Lock-Smith. After sitting there for a few minutes a very nice H.D. Associate approached me and asked if we needed any help. With a rather sarcastic tone in my voice I said, " yes, can you get me into my car, I locked myself out? She asked me to follow her and she introduced me to a male associate, who goes by the name of John T. because there are so many men named John in the H.D. John said he could get me into my car. I was very desperate because my son could not miss an appointment with the V.A. Doctor, or he would be weeks from seeing her if he cancelled. John T, was a very quiet but nice man. He walked out with me to our car and his first words were, " I didn't think any of these Nissan Pulsar's existed anymore?" So I knew he had some education on older cars. My wife allowed me to drive her car that day. An 1983 Nissan Pulsar she bought brand new, now over 32 years old. And still running great.
John T. had me in the care in less than two minutes. I cannot express in words what this meant to me, that your employees would take the time to open my car door, not for me but both of these associates were concerned for my Disabled Veteran Son, making it to his appointment on time.
I called the store the next morning and asked for the store manager. I spoke to a very nice man by the name of Eric K[redacted]. This man was so upbeat about how Home Depot was able to solve this very important domestic issue. I gave him the names of the Associates who helped and now I'm following up with a letter to you folks at Corporate. Please, please, give all three of these people recognition for their kindness, concern, helpfulness, and the Manager for his upbeat manner. I sincerely thank you all.
Their names: Manager Eric K[redacted], Associates, Peggy N[redacted], Department Supervisor, and our hero, John T. Associate. One last comment. I have read many of the negative revues about Home Depot, Lowes, Costco, etc. My shopping experience is not based on the attitudes of a company's employees. It starts with my attitude when I enter the door.

Would like to submit a review for the lack of customer service and support provided by the Home Depot. I have been a loyal customer of this business for many years. About 2 weeks ago, I replaced all kitchen appliances with [redacted] appliances from Home Depot. A week later the microwave caught on fire. Luckily no one was hurt as we were near the unit and turn it off. We visited the Home Depot store where we purchased all the appliances and were told they could not help us, or replace this defective/dangerous unit. Very frustrating situation as this unit is now just 3 weeks old. We do not want a refund, just to have the unit replaced with a working unit since its well below the 30 day return policy most stores (including [redacted]) provide to its customers.
Home Depot contractors are dishonest and unprofessional. Had a fence replaced and the contractor used defective planks that are cracked and look horrible. The overall job is terrible. The store manager was very rude and just told me that there are no guarantees for wood fencing. This company only wants your money and don't care about their customers. I regret doing business with this place. Very disappointed.
don't ever buy an appliance from home depot they lie about the 48 hours and they will take care of you if there is a problem. what they really mean is piss off.
I have been dealing with the Home Depot in Nashville, TN since July on an installation of counter tops. I have never been so discouraged with a company in my life! They completely botched the installation of the backsplash and my husband and I were forced by home depot to choose an alternative in order to get something to fix the mistakes since they told us they could not re-produce the backsplash to match the countertops we chose. They used the wrong grout and there were large gaps in between the wall and the backsplash. It looked like something an average person could do. We chose an alternative which is fine and we are somewhat happy but my walls are a mess and now I am being told that it is my responsibility to get a painter in to fix my walls and to try and return my kitchen to something I can be proud of. They damaged some molding under the counter top and are also doing nothing about that. The main person from Home Depot stood in my home and told me he would make this right and that we would also get a refund for all the issues we were having. That same person is now telling us that we will be receiving little if any refund and that we need to find the contractors to fix my house and send them the bill and they will reimburse us. Now I am I out more money with the hope that I am not being lied to again! What business acts like this. We could have gotten better results from a local vendor. Worst experience I have ever had and now I am so glad I decided not to reface my cabinets as it would have been a huge disaster I am sure.
I attempted to to order a washing machine from Home Depot. They never showed up for delivery, never called and then claimed they lost the appliance. No one from their customer service department has been helpful. I cannot even file a complaint with Revdex.com because in the complaint form I can only specify stores in states other than mine.
Here is one of my emails to home depot:
- I placed an order and got a delivery date.
- NO ONE CALLED ME THE DAY BEFORE THE DELIVERY DAY.
- The driver called me at 12:50pm to tell me that he will be here in 40 minutes. That would be 1:30pm.
- I had to call at 2:10pm. I had to remind him who I was. He tells me he has the paperwork but no appliance.
- I start calling home depot customer service. AT NO POINT IN TIME ANYONE FROM HOME DEPOT CALLED ME TO FOLLOW UP.
- I spent 5 hours on that phone that day. At one point in time, I was actually transferred to a Samsung rep who told me that I was not supposed to be transferred to her, but in any case they already shipped the appliance to Home Depot warehouse.
- Eventually at the end of the day I am told they will open an investigation at the warehouse to find out where the appliance is and that it will take 48-72 hours to complete. This was Tuesday by the way. The last rep was unable to contact anyone at the delivery company at 4pm. No one was returning his calls.
- I called again and emailed the next day.
- I got an email from the online support team on Friday that I contacted separately telling me that I SHOULD CALL Monday.
- I called today MONDAY which was 6 days later or 144 hours later. Where was that 72 hour promise on the investigation? The investigation was never brought up. No result was revealed to me. I was told the appliance is out of stock and if I want it I need to wait until January.
- At this point I have to give up and realize that the customer service reps are not training to know what to do if the process deviates from the script. The appliance was lost somewhere but no one acknowledged that. NO ONE EVER BOTHERED TO GIVE ME THE CUSTOMER A CALL.
That was 2 weeks ago. I am still trying to get a refund for an order that was never delivered. Now they claim that their vendor needs to scan the appliance back in their system. But I was told the appliance was lost.
I have had a Home depot credit card for a while now and when I first got the card I gave then a check(Blank) to put through my bank and the due date was on the 16th of every month, well I get ph;one calls all the time, I have a check again that they have been putting through for years, quit calling me , stick to the contract, If you need I can provide all this through my bank.I am tired of rude and sarcastic people, Please stop t;he phone calls, And I just got my bill and they just took out the last bill on Dec the 27 ,why can they not do what is right and by contract, quit calling me, if ;you do not take it out it is not my fault. Please stop t;he Harassing phone calls, they calll at least 3 to 4 times a day I can show you that too.
We order a dryer to Home Depot. The lady who helped us ask 2 phone # where they can reach us for the deliver. She advice us that someone will call us the night before the delivery date.
First - we waited for the call per associates instructions, but no one called. So I told my daughter in law to take a day off so someone will be home during the delivery.
Second - the delivery guy was so rude to my daughter in law and giving her attitude.
Third - I paid extra to haul the old dryer but the delivery guy refuse to take the old one. So I called him like 10 but never pick up her call.
I decided to call Home Depot and as usual it's hard to get thru and if someone picks up a call they'll transfer you to someone's voice mail. It took me almost an hour to connect and ask for the store manager. I talked to Daly City branch manager name Richard - that manager himself is not accommodating and not helpful at all. I asked him to do something about my bad experience but he kept saying it's not there fault and I should blame the delivery company - which adding more insult to injury.
This is such a bad experience for us dealing with Home Depot. I will tell my friends and family about my experience and not to order/buy anything in Home Depot!!! And I will post a bad testimony in Social Media as well, so people will aware on how Home Depot run the business!!!
We finalized our order of our kitchen cabinets and countertops from the Home Depot in August. Our cabinets were supposed to be installed on October 6th and 7th and the countertops by October 21st. Only part of our cabinet order arrived and we were not informed until the day of the install. We had to wait until October 31st for the rest to arrive and still one door was missing. The cabinets were not level and the wrong valance was installed. The countertops that arrived were the wrong size and shape and were chipped. There were several other errors and delays which resulted in our cabinets being completely installed and finally matching the design that we chose three months late. The Home Depot did not meet any of the conditions on the contract that they signed with us and the companies they subcontracted and the initial cabinet installer they provided were incompetent and unprofessional. They were rushed and non apologetic for their mistakes. Communication with staff at the store was difficult as you were passed from one person to the other and the Customer Care team at the Head Office was of no help whatsoever. The delays we experienced with the Home Depot set back all other aspects of our renovation such as the electrical, dry walling and the backsplash tiling. The entire renovation was a completely frustrating and disappointing experience. Although they did eventually correct some of the errors they made, no compensation was ever offered and no follow up from the store was ever done. We could not recommend them to anyone considering using this company for any work on their home.
Regarding Order #s WXXXXXXXXX and W445235582 ([redacted], Tel. #XXX-XXX-XXXX) I purchased a refrigerator online and purchased the optional icemaker. When frig was delivered, December 19, there was no icemaker. Delivery person said he found the same problem with online orders. On 12/19/15 I spoke to Catherine who told me I had to purchase icemaker (which I had purchased on 12/19/15 online). I purchased the icemaker and was told to call for installation once the icemaker was delivered. The installer showed up with the icemaker which could not be installed because of work being done on the condo. Since they showed up without my first calling for installation, they wasted their trip. They left me the icemaker. On 12/26/15, I spoke to Christine and Michelle regarding this issue. On 12/31/15, I spoke to Beth who scheduled installation for January 4, 2016. Installer showed up to install the icemaker, but the icemaker was broken. On January 5, I spoke to Kori and Samantha for a replacement icemaker. On 1/9/16, I called again (I didn't get the name of the person I spoke with) who scheduled the installation for January 12. On January 12, the installer, Alex called me to find out if I had the icemaker, which of course, I did not have. On January 12, I spoke to Annette who asked me to call the next day. on January 13, I called and was told that I would get a call in a day or two. I was told that they had an icemaker in the warehouse . Of course, nobody called me. On January 15, I spoke to Dana who told me that the replacement icemaker was not ordered and that she will call me back in 15 minutes. I am still waiting. As you can see, this is absolutely ridiculous!!!! In several of these calls, I was kept being bounced around and around. What is going on? I am still waiting for the icemaker and installation. Can you help me resolve this issue?
We purchased Anderson Doors from Home Depot in April 2016. The wrong doors came in May or June, but were not taken care of until we called to check on installation. Door finally installed in late July with issues immediately noted by installer. As of today, doors still not properly installed and no facings up. My husband has initiated calls with Home Depot many many times to be told they would send emails or make calls. They did not consistently return calls or keep us informed of what was happening. With all the issues we have had with these doors, it seems that someone from Home depot would have stepped in and taken over coordination of repairs. Instead Anderson rep has come out several times and seems to have a plan, but installers repeatedly comes out to look at the doors but not fix them, or finish installation. It has now been over 8 months since the purchase and I still don't have completed installation.!!!
We are a small business in Dunwoody Georgia, and we a great deal of business with Store [redacted] in Alpharetta, Georgia. A couple of months ago we scheduled an carpet installation , and I noticed that the new chainsaw that I purchased to cut down trees on the property was missing from the closet.
I contacted Home Depot Store [redacted] and the told me that I needed the original receipt from ACE Hardware where I purchased the chainsaw, and then send it to [redacted]@homedepot.com and [redacted]@us-installations.com.
Laurie [redacted] @ Home Depot Store #XXXX(XXX) XXX-XXXX x 471 and Hillary Evans , General Manager @ USIG (XXX) XXX-XXXX requested a police report, and we contacted the Gwinett Police Department and the Case#XXXXXXXM police Report was issued and we e-mailed it back to the respective parties.
Hillary then requested that the police all her, and update her on the investigation. The chainsaw was under $600.00. Did USIG provide the names and contact numbers of the crew that they sent to install the carpet?
If I could give a negative 10 I would. My husband and I ordered an Egress Cover in store while visiting this Germantown, Maryland Home Depot. Although my husband was hesitant, I encouraged him to order while in the store. We paid for the item and dealt with the lazy customer service representative in windows in doors who obviously did not have his coffee that morning. Let me say lazy again...couldn't even get out of his chair to take the measurements for my cover. Any who, we received an email that our item was ready to be picked up in record time and went to the store to pick it up...smh they can not find it. A day later they still can't find it and state that they would reorder...yea a week later...still no Egress Cover. Go in to this location to get my refund and they did not want to give me my cash refund from my debit card. The customer service people lie and the store manager is a coward who refused to assist us. The corporate office should fire them all and start again. Please don't waste your time or your money in this store. I'm waiting for someone in the corporate office to realize this store would benefit from a complete overhaul in employees. This place is the worst. I will drive to Frederick,MD any day and avoid this location like the plague. I still haven't received my money in my account yet.
Say that they'll price match. But, wouldn't price match [redacted] on a tool shed. Only sucked because, I just cashed in my American Express points for Home Depot gift cards, with the understanding that they price match. Kind of annoying. Going to see if AMEX will take back the gift cards. Otherwise, Home Depot has always been pretty fair. No I'll will here. And, will still give them a chance at future business.
I ordered a new range from Home Depot and it was delivered 12/6/16. When it was taken off the truck it looked like someone kicked in the side. We were told we would get a call with 24-48 hours and a new range would be delivered..nope. I called 3 times to arrange a new stove. I was told I needed to call the manufacturer of the range?? Not sure why I would need to do that since I ordered from Home Depot??Then we cancelled because of lack of response and we needed a stove for our tenant. We were told we would have a refund within 7 days...it has been almost 3 weeks and still no refund..I have sent emails with no response and made several phone calls. I will never do business with this company and I will make sure everyone knows about them too...they are the most unprofessional company I have ever done business with!
I had a furnace installed thru HD from the start of writing the contract to the installation of the furnace it was a trouble. And as of yet the installer has not replaced the door to the furnace . The .installer lied and told HD I said I didn't want them to replace the door. So he (the installer never came back) , but he got paid. I complained to Customer Service about the noise coming from the furnace but no answer, so I had to call another company out to fix the noise. After installing the furnace I had a big gas leak because the installer did not seal the gas line to the furnace properly, The Gas company came out and shut the whole house down because the fumes were so bad I could not enter the house. The installer did return to fix that but as far as the door on the furnace and the noise to the furnace; he did not. Never again will I use their home services.
We purchased quartz countertops from the Home Depot store in Waynesboro, Virginia. They were installed the week of Thanksgiving 2015. The countertops were defective, the seam in the center of our bar was horrible and they did not match. After months of phone calls not being returned, missed days from work, visits from the installers and the warranty claims folks and our front door constantly revolving, they were finally replaced in March of 2016!!! And now, our countertop has a crack in it from a crockpot!!!! This occurred November 27th. We just want Home Depot to come and get them, period!!! But we are being put in the middle again, installers and warranty claims. This is only half of what we have been through with this company over the purchase of these countertops. What advice can you give us? Do we need to hire an attorney?
DON'T BUY A PATIO SET FROM THEM - THEY WON'T STAND BEHIND IT.
Seriously, after only 90 days, the supposedly [redacted] cushions on our [redacted] firepit set faded 35-40%, and there was rust on the supposedly all-aluminum firepit, and Depot was not willing to stand behind the set to our satisfaction. Essentially, if you buy a patio set from Depot, be happy if it makes it 90 days.
I went to homedepot store located 6003 Oxon hill Rd MD 20745.

To Home Depot Corporate Office:
I shopped at your store in Kennewick WA. St, Highway 395 and 27Ave. The date was 03/07/2016. However, this shopping experience did not start off very well, beginning in the parking lot. John T. had me in the care in less than two minutes.
Why are we getting the run around ?
