When I contacted the company, the people I spoke with were friendly and helpful They arranged a time frame in which the service providers would arrive at my home The servicemen arrived on time and work fairly efficiently They were very good about explaining the issue with my dryer They quickly fixed the problem and cleaned my dryer's exhaust He explained about the Review FormHe was vey informative, polite and pleasant through out the time he was there and finished
Very pleased with the service we received Our technician, Brian, explained what was needed and why the cost was so high He did a clean and efficient job putting a new belt on our year plus dryer We will definitely be using this company's service for our other appliancesI Definitely would recommend this company for appliance repairs
Very prompt service Service technician quickly diagnosed the problem with our refrigerator They were able to get the part delivered to their store that evening and install it the very next day
Our Dishwasher was not filling properlyI filled out the on-line service request on Sunday afternoon and received a call Monday morningSteve came out and diagnosed the problem, ordered the part on-lineThe next day they called to let me know the part was in and to schedule the next visitSteve came out and installed the part, cleaned up after himselfPrice was a bit more than I expected however the senior discount helped and a new machine would have cost times as muchOverall a good experience
The Appliance Care Company responded quickly to my request for help, repaired my refrigerator ice maker problem, and Brian was friendly and capable and efficient
My experience with this company so far has been very goodPurchased a new Speed Queen washer and dryerWas delivered on time and the delivery men were very carefulAlso had the dryer vent blown out since it had not been done for yearsGlad we had this done but believe we could have researched other companies that perform this service and possibly got it done cheaperOverall a good experienceNow will wait to see if the SQ appliances perform as promised
We have a Lowe's Protection Plan which was purchased on our Samsung refrigeratorThis company is their representativeI called for service on ice maker that was not working properly on April 12, They sent a repair person the following day, although I was lied to twice about when to expect him and also when I called to inquire as to why he hadn't shown up within the specified hour period was told by Christi who purports to be the office manager, 'he's in the area and should be there in a few minutes.' Well, HE told me he was in Parkville, which is a mile drive from Overland Park and NOT, 'a few minutes' in Friday rush-hour traffic
After I had to show him what the problem was and potentially HOW to rectify it, he said he'd order a new ice maker bin and when I asked when I could expect it his response was, 'probably next Wedor Thurs.' That's been OVER TWO MONTHS and numerous phone calls to Appliance Care AND Lowe's Protection Plan representatives who only repeat the sam
I would highly suggest considering other options for your home repairsOur experience with the Appliance Care Company was very bad Our refrigerator went out after roughly years of use and we went online to randomly get a company to help us Of course appliance care co had decent availability (i suppose that should have been my first sign that maybe I should have vetted them better!)
Nonetheless, we were told there would be extensive repairs and the technician was actually a good guy and told it to us straightUnfortunately, the way we were treated when the parts service man called us was absolutely unacceptable We were told parts needed to be ordered from seperate locations at a cost of dollars just to ship This is after being told our refrigerator would be repaired the same week -- we were now being told those parts were not available and wouldn't be available until the following weekend ! In my simple questioning of why we were told two very different timelines I was told he would NOT be ordering the parts and would NOT do business with us This service parts guy was absolutely out of line in his treatment of us and I vowed to make it public that the way he treated us would not go quietly I strongly suggest considering ANY other company for your home appliance repairs, this company is absolutely terrible and the treatment of their 'customers' is a reflection of their inability to be true service professionals
This company is awesomeTheir great customer service starts with the flexibility of scheduling appointmentsTheir team works with you to be as convenient as possibleTheir technicians are very friendly and honestThey do not try to fix something that is not worth fixingWhen it comes to repairs they are the best we have had experience with

I had a new ice maker installed in my freezer and it took their repairman minutes to complete the work For minutes of labor, they charges $which is the equivalent of $per hour This, on top of a $service charge

I have a refrigerator that needed the coils cleaned and the water filter housing replaced because it was leaking I am fairly handy and can fix quite a few things, but frankly, I run out of time, so I called The Appliance Care Company based on a recommendation from the Toby Tobin web site In my opinion, I made a big mistakeI called The Appliance Care Company on 9/17/for an appointment on 9/21/and told them exactly what services were needed I provided the make and model for the fridge and would have provided any other information they felt would be helpful When I made the appointment they could not guarantee a time The take either all day appointments for a service charge of $or an afternoon appointment for an up charge ($125, I think) I opted for the all day appointment expecting the fridge would be fixed the same day Because the housing was leaking, I turned the water supply off to save the wood floorWhen Steve arrived, he was very nice and I explained what needed to be done During our casual conversation, I mentioned the ice cubes get hung up in the chute below the ice bin and he said he would look at that, also Steve wrote down some numbers (model and serial numbers) from inside the refrigerator and said he would have to order the parts and schedule a separate time to install them He found the housing on a web site and determined the seal around the ice/water dispenser was bad, so he ordered it, too I clarified with him that I would have to take another day off of work and he said, “Yes” I explained I was trying to avoid a second appointment and he apologized stating he doesn’t have any control over customer service He said he would call, probably Monday or Tuesday and schedule the install I did not receive a phone call by Wednesday, 9/26/2018, around noon, so I called the main number I was told the parts had not arrived and they did not know when they would On the afternoon of 9/26/2018, Andy called and said the parts arrived and he could have someone out the next day, 9/27/ Andy said he could set up an all day appointment I explained, while I have a somewhat flexible schedule, I could not be home for an all day appointment until October 5th I asked if my appointment could be the first one, since we were scheduling more than a week out and he said he would make the request, but could not promiseSteve arrived on 10/5/2018, about mid-morning He installed the filter housing, ice dispenser seal and said he cleaned the coils I paid for the services in full by writing a check The filter now works great and the housing does not seem to leak, so I am grateful for that, however, the ice cubes continue to get stuck in the chute and I believe it is a design flaw and did not have anything to do with the seal On 10/8/2018, I found time to remove the front vent cover and check the coils I found the coils were not any cleaner than when I tried to clean them before calling The Appliance Care Company On 10/9/2018, I called and complained that the cleaning service, which had been paid for, had not been performed I was told I would receive a phone call from Andy Several hours went by, so I called The person who answered the phone said I was sent an e-mail I did not receive one She began to read me the e-mail that was sent in what I took to be a condescending tone She mentioned that the coils would not be “clean enough to eat off of” and I explained that I didn’t expect to eat anything off of the coils, but they were no cleaner now than before I made the first appointment I offered to send photos and I was given an e-mail address I called later and spoke with Andy I asked if he looked at the pictures and he acknowledged that he did He stated the coils looked clean to him in the photos Andy stated he talked to Steve who said he cleaned the coils I assured Andy that the service was not completed by any stretch of the imagination and requested a refundAndy stated he would talk with the service manager, Kent, and get back with me On the evening of 10/9/2018, I took the back cover off and took three more photos and sent them to the same e-mail address along with a screenshot of their 100% satisfaction guaranteeI received a phone call about mid-morning on 10/10/2018, but could not pick it up and returned the message about an hour later I spoke with Andy who said they would send out another technician who would clean the coils, but they would not refund any money I asked why they wouldn’t refund the money and every time, the response was simply that is not what they will do I explained I did not have time to sit around for another all-day appointment when they had two opportunities to clean the coils correctly I asked Andy who his boss was and he said it was Kent I asked for Kent to give me a call and I have yet to receive a call from himIn my opinion, The Appliance Care Company has a poor business model, does not see their customer’s time as valuable as their own and is disingenuous about their 100% Satisfaction Guarantee They have a saying on their web site “If you’re not happy, we’re not happy.” Well, I certainly am not happy and I don’t think it really matters to them
This company was awesome! the technician was very timely and honestHe did great work and we were very impressed!! would definitely use them again in the future! Highly recommend!!
Total ripoff They cleaned two fridges and charged $ Here less than minutes No parts Just vacuumed out the dust Afterwords we called other companies and were told charge would be less than $per fridge We asked for a partial refund Refused Asked why they charged $more than the competition No answerSeriously $for a little over an hours work We got scammed
