Qatar airways has done nothing to resolve this matter. Empty apologies, and ultimately they cut off correspondence. I am not satisfied with their response to this complaint. I want a refund of all fares purchased.I have all the documentation of the cancelled and delayed flights. I also have documentation for the hotel we were forced to stay at, costing over $600.I also have active complaints with the FAA, TSA, and I am submitting a form to the CDC regarding this sick refugees on our flights to Chicago.

The fact that we purchased group tickets, two members (of which I provided Qatar with their ticket information) were underweight by 19kgs--and my extra piece of baggage was 19kgs over Qatar's weight limit (but still under their 30kg safety guideline) and Qatar would then charge me $50 per kilo for 19kgs totaling $967.15 for baggage alone is unreasonable and shameful. My request was that Qatar look at the facts and realize no one person should ever be charged $967.15 for an extra bag that is under 30kgs. I am not asking for a full refund; however, I am asking Qatar to look at the situation and realize, at a minimum, $967.15 is not appropriate given the situation and the charge should be reduced. If Qatar cannot comprehend that $967.15 is unreasonable given the situation, then my complaint stands and people need to know about Qatar's abhorrent customer service.Thank you,[redacted]
