I am rejecting this response because: I contacted the business and tried to work with themSee the attached screenshot where they agreed to refund my money upon receiving a copy of my invoice from the other electricianI forwarded a copy of the invoice on 2/with an email and a text and didn’t get a responseI sent another text on 2/without a responseI sent another text todayThe owner agreed to refund my money and I want my money back
In response to customer's complaint I offer the following our original work agreement consisted of the following:1) Remove old electric stove outlet and install new one (Done),2) Install (2) new GFI outlets in kitchen (Done)3) Remove old wiring in kitchen that was no longer necessary as asked by customer (Done)4) put microwave receptacle and box in kitchenCouldn't be done at time of original work because customer stated he was waiting on new kitchen cabinets I agree to return and put in new box and receptacle once customer called me to confirm cabinets were installed (Not Done)5) Change old light switch in kitchen with new ones (Done)Customer did call about GFI problem and I responded by going to house Further Investigation showed that the GFI problem (tripping) light switch I repaired the tripping problem and informed the customer he should replace the old knob and tube wiring The repaired light switch wasn't part of our original agreement but I repaired at my own cost No cost to customer [unreadable] Everything except for microwave receptacle and box was completed.As for not answering his call only one time didn't I respond that was because my son was expecting a baby boy and I was at the hospital with him.Also the customer called my advertiser and wanted to publish an article condemning my work.The publisher said he wouldn't do that.In closing I am still willing to put in receptacle and box for microwave but customer told me by text to stay away from the residence where the work was doneI feel I did my work in a professional and courteous mannerI also feel very strongly that the only thing that is owed by me to the customer is the installation of microwave box and receptacle.No money is due to customer because the $cost was for labor only as customer agreed to buy the material.Sincerely, Kevin F

We had several jobs that needed to be done, and we are very pleased with the entire experience with Affordable ElectricCustomer service was outstanding, with several back and forth text messages to finetune the details before service day, and Mike was right on-time on the dayHe got right to work, and made sure along the way that I was pleased with the way he was going to do things (going to extra effort to make sure the color of light chain was pleasing to our decor!), explaining why they were done a certain way, and informing how to maintain them as time passesI really appreciated the flat rate pricing, the efforts he went to to make sure we were happy with the work, and the overall experienceA++ Job!

I would definitely recommend Affordable Electric, IncMike was prompt, professional, polite, and price was reasonableHe described his observations and shared information in basic, understandable termsNice to have an honest electrician who was direct and respectfulI am new to the area and very happy to know about this licensed electrician!
I am rejecting this reponse because the contractor is not truthfulHe avoided my calls for several daysAfter I finally got through by calling from an alternate number, He answered and said he would come the next dayHe never showed or calledAfter a call that day and the next day went unanswered, I contacted his advertiser who was not happy with his client and stated he would call himOnly then did the contractor callAt this time I felt that it was not a good idea to have him do any further workAs of today the GFI outlet he installed is not workingIt is due to his inability to perform and complete the work for which he was hiredI still must hire another electrician to resolve the problem and complete the workIn closing I just want to add that I have had rental properties for about years and have had several contractors do hundreds of jobsThis is the first time I have ever had to resort to contact the Revdex.com for any matterI feel that because it was not a lot of money, the contractor felt he could get away with ignoring his obligationThank you for your attention in this matter

done by November He asked for an extension untill May wish I never sign or agreed and up to now he has not came back to finish the wokI have told him to refund me or come finish the work but as always he won't answer my calls and just textes me back that will come back soon in May or soPlease help me as I need my refund or job finish I have invested all in that business and I'm giving a monthly payment for a loan I have on it and he has not finishedAt this moment that's all I need to get started and be able to officially open upI'm at this loosing time, profit and very stress outThank you for your support and help in this matterI will be eternity graceful with your service. He never sent me a letter confirming he would finish the work in MayI have been waiting for it since weeks and he keeps saying he needs to see what kind of timetable he can up with and that's been me waiting and waitingI have told me to give me a finish date in writing or a refund date in writing and still the same NOTHINGHe is always making up excusesI will forward you all the text messeges I have including one that he tells me he us very sorry he spent the money on his personal payments that he was behing and overdraft in his bankIts not any of my fault I paid him and need him to refund me or finish upWork was supposed to be done and finished in end of November, I have as witness the guy he sent to start the work he left me his information I can provide his num and you can contact him and he will also let you know how I been struggling for him to come finish, Hes name is *** and his Cell number is 832-800-

The owner agreed to refund my money and I want my money back

Hi Revdex.com,Affordable Electric did go to this home and trouble shoot. Receptacles were tested and one did in fact test bad. [redacted] signed a contract and was talked to every step of the way sometimes electrical trouble shooting is simply luck of the draw. We would like to see what the other company did...
before we offer a refund but we would be willing to work with [redacted] never came to our company with any complaint the first we have heard of any issues was a text message that we received 2/15/2018 saying she was reporting us to the Revdex.com we never had a chance to offer a solution. Had our company started to run a new wire or found a easier solution to fixing the problem her estimate of $2,500 would have been less. Affordable Electric
[redacted] we did ask for a invoice stating that the work was done in less than an hour. We also stated we would be willing to work with you. Affordable Electric never gave you a refund amount. We did state that if we received an invoice stating the work was done in less than an hour. However, the invoice provided does not give hourly rates, dates of service, or where the problem was found, how long the work took, if the tripping breaker issue was taken of. We can tell you an open neutral does not cause a breaker to trip. We can also tell you that trouble shooting can be luck of the draw. We wish you would have called us with your concerns and allowed us to come to you while you were available to be on site. Affordable Electric does not take advantage of female customers and we are sorry you feel that way. We pride ourselves in customer safety and customer service. We wish you well. Affordable Electric
