Affiliate Asset Solutions Reviews (%countItem)

I received a bill on 6/21/2018 from Affiliate Asset Solutions, LLC. The amount for the bill was for $1795.00 from a date of service on 6/26/2016! I called the company to find out 1)What this bill was for and 2)WHY am I just NOW receiving a bill TWO years later than when this was done. Their response was then that this was the Doctors bill and it has been filed on my insurance "with the intentions of you filing on your insurance and now this is your bill." I then ask the lady could she give me the CPT Codes, procedure codes, services, anything at all because I am 110% positive that when I was seen on this date of service, I not only received and paid my bills but I also received the "Doctors bill" as well and I am positive that it has indeed been taken care of. She then proceeded to tell me that the debt was mine however it would not be reported to my credit, but they needed a payment immediately or she could not help me with further payment arrangements OR I could settle it then for a special of $1400 some odd dollars. My issues are: She could not verify my date of birth, she could not tell me what CPT or Procedure codes, she could not verify if I had any insurance or what my insurance was, she asked twice for my social (I would not release that information), and overall made me feel very uncomfortable. I would just like to simply know if this is legitimate. I researched this company last night for a few hours and we found several of the same identical issues I had hours prior to and everyone who has been in contact with this company ultimately found out that these are debts that have been paid, however the company basically took the account number which was legitimate, the amount you paid, date of service, and basic info to create a bill. I have no issue in paying my bills, but I just do not feel this is legitimate.

Desired Outcome

Other (requires explanation) I would just like to know how legitimate this is and if it is in fact a real debt. I have paid my bills and I also have paid the "Doctors bill" at least a year and a half ago. And I know it was the doctors bill because I called so confused and they explained it to me back then why I received two separate bills. Can you please help me find out if this is even real, I feel like I am being scammed. As well as others who proved they had been.

We appreciate the opportunity to respond to the consumer's concerns.

We have provided the details concerning the service provider, the date of service, the original and current charges for the services, the current creditor, and have provided all required disclosures concerning the consumer's rights pertaining to this collection matter.

If the consumer has proof of payment for all or some of this amount to the provider, we would request that they forward same so we can research the matter and assure proper credit.

If the consumer believes that their insurance carrier either did not process this claim or processed the claim incorrectly, or did process and pay some or all of this claim, we will be happy to speak to their carrier upon their authorization. However, they should contact their carrier directly to determine which of any of those factors would apply.

As the consumer does acknowledge the underlying service was provided, and does believe that either they or a third party (their insurance) has paid this, we would greatly appreciate them providing proof of same so we can properly credit all payments to the account. At this time, we do not have record of any for this service.

We have requested the original billing and account history from our client, and we will forward to the consumer upon receipt.

We welcome the consumer to contact our corporate office directly at 844 507 9382 and ask for David Strout. I will be happy to assist them in this matter.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I do not accept this response because again, I am just now being billed 2 years later. I am not able to pull my bank statements due to having transferred banks last year so cannot pull when this was paid. I am very upset that I am being billed for something I know has been handled two years later. I need to know why I am again, being billed TWO years later and why I was not notified earlier on.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I want to know when this account was received, the services rendered, & CPT Codes. I want to know why (because I've yet to be told) I WAS BILLED TWO YEARS POST DATE OF SERVICE 6/2016. I know that you did not receive this account in 2018. If I had an outstanding balance with ANY company it MOST CERTAINLY WOULDVE APPEARED ON MY CREDIT, I MOST CERTAINLY WOULDVE BEEN NOTIFIED BEFORE NOW & IT WOULD NOT BE TWO YEARS OUTSTANDING BEFORE ANY NOTIFICATION.

We have mailed a copy of the provider's billing statement to the consumer on July 9th, 2018, which provided the detailed service information (including the date of service, the provider, CPT code(s), etc. as requested.
Due to the protected nature of that Personal Health Information, we cannot publish that in this reply.
This account was placed with our office by the current creditor on May 29th, 2018 for collections. The balance has been verified as due and owing by the provider (original creditor.)
Generally speaking, most medical billing services do not report to credit bureaus. If the original billing group did not assign this account to a third party collection agency prior to selling the account to the current creditor, then there would be little likelihood of this being reported to any credit bureau. Further, if the original billing group did not assign this to a collection agency, we would expect that no additional communications were sent to the consumer past the initial six month billing cycle.

We understand that the consumer is upset because of the length of time between the service and our communication. However, we do not control that. The established, validated fact is that services were provided and remain unpaid. We suggest the consumer simply contact her previous bank to secure proof of payment, if the consumer believes that this amount was in fact previously paid to this provider. The passage of time itself is in no way evidence that this was paid. It may be evidence of an ineffective accounts receivable management system, but in no way alters the facts presented to the consumer.

We repeat our offer to the consumer to contact us directly if they would like to discuss repayment terms if they are unable to pay the balance at this time.

this co. We don't know what more information we can provide to the consumer. This service was the result of an emergency room visit. We have provided all of the details for that service directly to the consumer, including the provider, date, procedure codes, and billed charges.
The consumer stated the desired outcome was an adjustment to the bill. We have offered that. We have offered to assist in rebilling any applicable insurance. We have offered to talk directly with the consumer to attempt to find additional resolutions.
This bill has been validated, the required information has been provided to the consumer, and it is the consumer's responsibility. Although our client has made an offer to settle the account for less than the due balance, we don't understand the consumer's apparent expectation that he shouldn't have to pay for treatment and services received.
We remain available to discuss this matter should the consumer wish to contact us.

Receiving calls from company.Unable to answer, but never leaves voicemail. Not sure what is in reference to. Company needs to send info to my address.
I have been receiving calls from this number on my cell phone while I am at work and unable to answer. They never leave a voicemail, so I am not sure what this is in reference to. If they need to provide documentation, they need to send the information to the address on file. I have no way of knowing anything without documentation. Thank you.

Thank you for the opportunity. We had attempted to contact the consumer by phone prior to receiving this complaint. Upon receipt of this complaint and on March 28th we have sent by first class mail the information requested by the consumer.

Should the consumer need any additional assistance she is welcome to contact our VP of Operations, *** at XXX XXX XXXX.

Horrible work ethic. Tried to collect a debt that had been settled for over a year, while never giving me any other information. When trying to explain that it was taken care of they wouldn't listen, and kept asking how I planned on taking care of the debt.

This company illegally tries to collect debt. They are trying to collect balance after medicaid already paid which is illegal. I've told them twice to cease communications but they continue to call. It's company's like this that scare people into paying money they do not owe.

Harassing, repeated calls with RUDE, IGNORANT agents despite telling them NOT TO CALL ME AGAIN!
I've been received repeated phone calls from this company almost daily. I have the phone records to prove it. I have asked their agents NOT to call me again, and their continuance in this behavior constitutes HARASSMENT!

The ironic thing is that while I recognize they are a collection agency, I have absolutely NO IDEA what they are trying to collect on, for which account, which company... I have no clue. And the reason I have NO CLUE is that the people who have called me from this company excel in IGNORANCE, BELLIGERENCE and HOSTILITY!!!

Their agents are too ignorant and too hostile to even know HOW to appropriately communicate intelligently with people. I am a professional person; I understand how to conduct collections and this is not how!

I am absolutely AMAZED that this company has such a high rating with your Revdex.com. Frankly this rating makes me question the veracity of this Revdex.com. Nonetheless, I am filing this complaint in an effort to utilize a progressive response to Affiliate's constant harassment.

Desired Outcome

I want Affiliate Asset Solutions to immediately cease and desist from contacting me. I want them to practice appropriate, non-harassing collections techniques, and I would like them to hire capable agents and train them on how to legally conduct collections.

Affiliate Asset Solutions Response • Jan 31, 2018

Thank you for the opportunity to address this consumer's complaint and attempt to resolve the matter.
We regret that the consumer has been frustrated in her communication with our office.

Our records show only one oral communication with the consumer, on January 25th, 2018. At that time the consumer notified us to cease and desist communication with here, and we have abided by that request. However, our review of that recording, and our agent's response to the consumer's aggressiveness, was not up to our standards. Consequently, we have counseled with and reprimanded the agent in accordance with our Quality/Compliance and HR policies. We apologize to the consumer and renew our pledge to be the most patient centric and consumer centric receivables management organization in the world.

In response to the consumer's statement that they still do not know the nature of our efforts:

Correspondence was sent to the consumer at the address shown in the complaint, on December 13,2017. That correspondence specifically detailed the purpose of our communication.

Due to protected information contained therein, we cannot provide a copy to this site. However, if the consumer would like to contact our Executive Office at the toll free number provided or by email to***, or via our website at ***, and give us consent, we will gladly email a copy of the communication to her. If there is a different physical mailing address that she would prefer, we can direct a copy there as well.

Although we do show multiple attempts to contact the consumer prior to 1/25/2018, we don't see a prior attempt resulting in a confirmed contact, and expect this might be part of the consumer's frustration. In order to meet the requirements of all the applicable laws pertaining to our service, we do require several layers of identification prior to divulging personal information. We agree this can be difficult for the consumer receiving the call to process that we are communicating in this manner for their protection, not our gain.

Consequently, we do take exception with the consumer's categorization of our staff, our attitude, our intelligence and our compliance processes.

We hope that should the consumer wish to communicate directly with us, by any means (phone, email or website) she will find the information she requires and a more positive experience. However, as previously stated, we are honoring the consumer's request for no further communication unless the consumer initiates same.

Thank you again for the opportunity to respond.

I received a letter from Affiliate Asset Solutions, LLC, and Pendrick Capitol Partners, LLC stating they are attempting to collect a debt from me for $91.46. I do not have a signed contract with Affiliate Asset Solutions, LLC or Pendrick Capitol Partners, LLC. I am requesting Affiliate Asset Solutions, LLC and Pendrick Capitol Partners, LLC produce a signed contract, that I signed with them as proof of debt owed to Affiliate Asset Solutions and Pendrick Capitol Partners,LLC.

Desired Outcome

Correction to a credit report I would like this removed from all three credit reports, because I do have a contract with either one of these companies and I do not owe them anything. I would also like both of these companies to stop harassing me.

Affiliate Asset Solutions Response

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to the consumer's request.
We did provide the consumer with the details of the service provided for which we are attempting to collect a debt in the correspondence she acknowledges receiving.

Our correspondence correctly identifies Pendrick Capital Partners, LLC as the current creditor, states that Pendrick Capital Partners, LLC has purchased the referenced debt, and that Affiliate Asset Solutions, LLC is a debt collector attempting to collect a debt for Pendrick Capital Partners, LLC.

That same communication provided her with the name of the original service provider who sold the debt to PCP,LLC, and the date the service was provided. We provided our phone number, our address, and our website address for the consumer to notify us of any dispute or to make any request for additional information. To date, this complaint via the Revdex.com is the first response we have received.

The consumer should communicate with their insurance company as confirmation of the amount owed, as the billed amount is the balance due after the insurance carrier processed the original claim. She should have an explanation of benefits, or be able to readily obtain same, from her insurance carrier for the claim they processed for the provider shown in our correspondence on the date referenced.

If the consumer did not receive treatment from the identified provider on the identified date of service, and/or did not authorize her insurance company to process the claims from that service, or if there is a claim of identity fraud, we would ask that she contact us at our corporate office for our assistance in helping to direct her to the proper resources to investigate and prosecute any insurance or identify fraud.

If the consumer requires additional information regarding this matter, she may contact our corporate offices between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at 844 507 9382 and we will be glad to further assist her.

This business called me yesterday evening trying to collect a debt I owe. I agreed to make a payment on the 24th of November. They took the money last night. Have called them, said they are working on it. It has been over 5 hours since I talked to them, with them promising to put my money back in my checking account. Has not happen yet. It didn't take them 5 hours to take my money, it shouldn't take over 5 hours to put it back. Are very rude when I complain that it is taking to long. Talked to a Mrs.. She stated that the company is very large and mistakes happen. Bull. Just an excuse to take peoples money before the agreed upon date.

Desired Outcome

No further contact by the busi I want people to know that this company can not be trusted to do way it states they will do. Want for them to never call me again.

Affiliate Asset Solutions Response

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to the consumer's concerns.

We did incorrectly process the payment authorized by the consumer. This error was a result of a verification procedure not being fully executed. We have modified our process accordingly to eliminate the potential for future error.

Upon the consumer notifying us of the error, we immediately initiated the charge reversal process. We understand that the consumer was frustrated that the members of our team that she was speaking to were not able to execute the charge reversal, but that is a restricted function within our process that allows us to fully review and properly execute those requests.

Our finance team reversed the payment the same day (November 10, 2017, the day after the initial transaction) the error was identified. There was no delay in acting on the consumer's request, and we received confirmation at that time that the charge had been reversed. Somewhere during this process it appears the consumer made this report.

We will never intentionally process an authorized payment for any date other than the authorized date. We routinely process some 500 payments a day without issue. We apologize for the error, and invite the consumer to visit our website at*** when she is ready to make the payment in question.

We will not contact the consumer again per her request. However, should she wish to speak to someone in our office, she may contact Mr.s, our VP of Operations, at *** or directly at ***.

Affiliate Asset Solutions first bill date is 10/13/17. They are attempting to collect a $574.00 debt for DOS 07/28/15. I called them in an attempt to resolve this situation, right after I received their letter. In looking into the past claims through my insurance company, I cannot determine what they are billing me for. They said it was a Physcian's billing. I explained that I did not think I owed this money. The CSP told me that I needed to contact the original biller, and my insurance company to resolve this dispute. I called the Physcian's billing and they advised me to that they have a zero balance on my account. I called my insurance company, and they told me that they do not have a bill for this facility, on that particular date, therefore, either the bill was never submitted, or I am being billed for services I never received. I was told to have the agency bill the insurance company. I called Affiliate back and explained to the CSP what the insurance company stated. She proceeded to take my insurance information, and told me that they would file a claim. That was two days ago. Thinking this was the end of the issue I was surprised to get another call today. I asked for a manager. She said they do not file claims. I called my insurance company, and the CSP at Affiliate hung up on my Insurance company twice while trying to do a three way call. How can I resolve an issue if the company is not cooperating?

Desired Outcome

No further contact by the busi I would like Affiliate Solutions to stop contacting me, remove this debt from my credit report, and do not sell the collection to any other agencies, as I believe at the least, timely filing is the issue here. Timely filing denail states that they cannot contact me for collection. Thank you.

Affiliate Asset Solutions Response

We appreciate the opportunity to respond to the consumer's concerns.

Our records, our client's billing history, the consumer's previous interactions with the consumer, and our call recordings differ substantially from the narrative provided by the consumer.
Our records indicate that the information originally provided to the provider was billed and subsequently rejected as terminated coverage. That insurance information is different than the information the consumer provided to our representative. Our records further indicate that subsequent to that notification to the consumer from the provider that the consumer began to make payments on the account, but eventually discontinued those payments.
A review of the calls with our office find no evidence of anyone on our staff hanging up on anyone, the consumer or her representatives. While we are not a billing agency, we will gladly facilitate the billing of the claim provided we have confirmation from the carrier that coverage did exist for this service at the time of service. As the carrier originally identified at the time of service was billed, timely filing is not an issue in this case.

In order to provide the consumer with every courtesy in attempting to resolve this matter and to avoid any further delay, we invite her to contact our corporate office by calling *** anytime Monday through Friday, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET, and ask to speak to Mr. our Operations Manager, or Mr., our Vice President of Operations for further assistance.

Customer Response

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
My insurance company was attempting a 3-way conversation and was disconnected twice while I was on the phone. The representative called back later and was told that the person who would file the claim was out of the office and would return on Monday. He stated that he would continue to call the biller to resolve this issue as this claim was not submitted to them. On this date of service there were many bills submitted to the insurance company, so I am not understanding how it is stated that the insurance I gave was incorrect. What was the Insurance company name that I supposedly gave at the time of service? If I started paying the provider, who is the provider. I haven't been able to get an answer. The Hospital Physician's billing department states that I have a zero balance with them.
There are so many questions, but my main concern is this: Here I am a consumer that is willing to work with a collection company, but gets the run around. I get incorrect information, and different information each time I try to speak to a person. I gave my insurance information to a CSP, and then told that it was not recorded. I was then told that you don't file claims, yet that same CSP told me that she would file the claim. My Insurance company was told that the person to file the claim was out of the office. Do you file claims or not?
This complaint is mainly against the practices of the collection company and their untrained customer service team. I stand on my complaint, and do not consider this closed until I get satisfactory answers and resolution. I want answers that are firm and not some runaround collection company that just wants to be paid, regardless.

Affiliate Asset Solutions Response

We cannot provide the insurance details nor the name of the provider IN THIS FORUM as that is privileged information that may not be released in a post that may be publicly posted on the Revdex.com website.

The provider group name is listed on the correspondence we forwarded to the consumer, and that group is NOT the hospital or billed by the hospital.

If the consumer has contacted the provider listed on our letter, and she has been told that she has a zero balance, it is due to the fact that the balance has been written off to bad debt, thereby adjusting the balance in the providers CURRENT records as a zero balance. It does not mean the debt is paid, but that it has been "written off" of the active billing system.

We can provide the consumer with the specific details of the insurance information provided at the time of service, as well as the details of subsequent payments. As stated previously, the consumer may contact our executive office directly to reach either of the parties mentioned for assistance. If the consumer prefers, we can address the details in additional correspondence by USPS or email.

We are not a billing company. We do not bill insurance companies directly. To assist consumers, we will take the consumers insurance information, contact the carrier to confirm coverage, and if coverage exists direct a request back to the original provider to submit a clam to the carrier, which we have attempted to do in this case. Although the statements above may sound contradictory, they are not in fact a contradiction. We can facilitate the claim filing, but we do not generate the claim itself.

The most expeditious solution we can suggest, again, is for the consumer to contact our Vice President of Operations, Mr. Tim ***, at ***.

We regret the confusion, and apologize for any frustration we may have caused for the consumer. We wish to answer any and all questions regarding this matter, and to provide 100% transparency with regard to the obligation and its history.

We will appreciate the opportunity to meet that expectation, and invite the consumer to advise which method of communication she would prefer.

This agency mailed me a medical debt that is not my responsibilty, but is my son's fathers debt to handle.
I received a letter grom Affiliate Collections on a debt that is a bill for my son. His father is
responsible for this bill. He signed all medical documents on the day of visit and his driver llicense info was given at hospital. How my name ended up on this I fo not know. When I called and spoke with collection agent he said " You will just have to tell him to pay it or you will be responsible simple as that"! Very rude and umwilling to listen. Affiliate Asset Solutions 145 Technology Parkway NW suite ***. The Account number on my statement is *** balance due says $857.00.

Desired Outcome

I want my mame taken off this account ot is not my debt.

Affiliate Asset Solutions Response

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this consumer's concerns.
We apologize to the consumer. We have reviewed her interaction with our agent, and we understand that she did not like the outcome of the call, however, our agent was not rude or disrespectful in any manner. She (our agent) clearly explained to the consumer that the account had been established in the consumer's name as the responsible party for her child's emergency medical services at the time of service, and we can not arbitrarily change that.

If her expectation that this should be billed to the child's father is related to any custodial agreement dictated by the court system, we would recommend that she discuss that with the child's father and their attorney's as necessary.

Should the consumer wish for us to speak with the child's father, she need only provide us with that authorization and have the child's father call us. We will gladly work with him to resolve this matter on the consumer's behalf. She can also direct him to our website (www.affiliateas.com) where payment can be made to resolve matter as well.

We recommend that the consumer read fully the correspondence that she has received from our office. She is welcome to call our corporate office between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. M-F, and a member of our Consumer Services team will be glad to assist if she prefers.

Affiliate Asset Solutions has sent me numerous bills stating that I have an outstanding bill with them. I noticed that this bill is a medical bill and I have asked this company to validate this debt by breaking down of fees including any medical charges that was performed on *** which is myself. I asked that they provide me with a copy of my ORIGINAL SIGNATURE with the provider of service to release my medical records or information to this company because I have never agreed to release any information and Under the FDCPA I am allowed to make this request. In response they told me that they would send me out copies of this information and I have never received it. I also implied that holding any information from a medical provider in an attempt to be a HIPPA complaint can be a violation of the FDCPA and privacy violations.

Also, reporting this debt to a credit bureau prior to allowing me to validate may be a violation as well.

I do not have a binding contract with this company. I have never agreed to make payments or make a payment in full to this company.

Desired Outcome

Other (requires explanation) Since they can not Validate with original signature and a signed statement stating that I have allowed medical records to be released then it should be released from the credit profile that is kept under my name and social security number.

Affiliate Asset Solutions Response

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this consumer complaint.

Our records indicate that we have attempted to communicate with the consumer by mailing correspondence to her at the address she has listed in her complaint.
Our initial communication in early July of this year, identified the current creditor, original service provider, date of service, patient name, AND provided consumer disclosures as required by all applicable statutes. Those disclosures acknowledge consumers rights to dispute the validity of any debt and how to request supporting documentation. Our communication also provides several communication avenues for the consumer.

Our records do not reflect ANY communication from the consumer to our office, either by phone, email, website dispute portal, fax or mail, requesting same. We would appreciate the consumer's assistance in providing the specific date (time if applicable) and method she communicated with our office.

On September 6, 2017 we sent a letter to offer resolution of the debt for a lessor amount. Until receipt of this notification of a complaint, we have no record of confirmed communication with this consumer.

It is our practice to immediately respond to any notice of dispute, to any request for information, and to any request for validation or verification.

Upon receipt of this complaint, we have secured the specific information requested by the consumer: an itemized billing statement from the provider to include cpt and diagnostic codes for the service provided, and treatment and care authorization signed for by the consumer.

As these documents do contain protected information, they have been mailed to the consumer as of this date to the address on this complaint. If the consumer would like the information sent via email and will send us an email consent for same, we will expedite her receipt of same through electronic delivery.

We would appreciate information from the consumer regarding the time and method of communication so we might identify if and if so, how and where our process failed to produce the expected immediate response upon the consumer's contact with our office.

Our records do indicate that both the provider's billing service and their collection agency collectively sent at least 3 statements with details regarding the service, their billing efforts based on the information provided by the consumer at the time of service, and the results of those efforts. These communications were addressed to the same address as provided by the consumer in this complaint.

We understand that the complexities of multiple service providers billing at the same time for the same date of service can create confusion and it can be difficult to distinguish between the providers and their agents, and the notifications from insurance regarding same. We stand ready to answer any questions the consumer may have following her review of the requested information, and will assist her in any way that we can to bring this matter to resolution.

Affiliate Asset Solutions, LLC does not report consumer account information to any credit reporting service or bureau.

Thank you again for the opportunity to assist the consumer and respond to her concerns.

Sincerely,

Affiliate Asset Solutions, LLC

Employees are very rude, cut you off, and yell at you. I've received multiple calls a week and when I told them this was harassment I had a woman yell at me that they were well within the law to to contact me everyday. I've been unemployed for 2 years now and have answered the phone everytime they have called and told them my situation repeatedly.

In proper billing statement for a Bill four years old
Case number***. Affiliate account number 0368511867.They are collecting for EPMG of* Brighton date of service 8/15/13. They claim we owe them $736.73 for service rendered. We ask for a proper billing statement which we do not recall ever receiving and they send me a typed out bill with improper dates no letter head as to who it was from stating we owe them $736.73. I contacted the party who we supposedly owe the money to and they claim they no longer have access to that billing statement. All we want is a proper billing statement stating the correct information and what the bill is for.

Talked with ***
Talked with Affiliate on 7/24/17

Desired Outcome

We want a proper and legal billing statement proving we owe them money.

Affiliate Asset Solutions Response

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to the consumer's concerns.
Upon the consumer's request, we did provide the information forwarded to us from the original service provider. We did not create the statement, and are limited in providing to the consumer what the original creditor provides in their documentation. We apologize for the format, but unfortunately cannot control the presentation of the provider's billing format.
Given the confusion experienced by the consumer as a result of this documentation, our client has requested that we close our file, and advise the consumer that the account has been closed. Further, we have refunded as of this date to the consumer's credit card account a payment of $100.00 previously received on the account.
Should the consumer require additional assistance, he is welcome to contact *** directly at ***.

Received a letter from above named company claiming that I owe money to another company named Pendrick Capital Partners, LLC.
According to the FDCPA (Fair Debt Collection Practices Act), the above mentioned company regularly and frequently violates the FDCPA rules and guidelines. They are listed as an American company but are operating from an off-shore site.

Desired Outcome

I want them to STOP harassing me via phone calls and letters and I want them to contact the credit companies and have those negative/false charges removed. Or I will be contacting a lawyer!

Affiliate Asset Solutions Response

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to the consumer's concerns.
Mr. references receiving one letter from Affiliate on behalf of the mentioned creditor. That communication also contained specific information about the services received, including the provider name and date of service.

As we have neither spoken with the consumer nor received a response to our letters, we do not understand his comments with regard to our practices or the debt in question.

Customer Response

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
This is to advise you that pursuant to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) 15 USC §1692c(c), you are hereby notified to immediately terminate any contact with me, or any members of my family or household, regarding any matter concerning the collection of an alleged debt you attempting to collect. This notice shall include, but is not limited to written correspondence, as well as telephone communication.

Repeated calls asking for information without providing any details.
I have been receiving repeated calls from this number about an alleged personal or business opportunity and they "just needed to verify my information" before giving me the details. Since I would not give them my information they would not explain any details about what they were calling about and would hang up. Using their number in a reverse lookup gave me the business information of them being a debt collection agency which means that they were misrepresenting the reason for the call in the first place. I have placed a call to them and asked that my number be removed from any database that they are using.

Desired Outcome

I would like this business to stop calling me and request that this business be looked into for scam type practices.

Affiliate Asset Solutions Response

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to the consumer's concerns. We did attempt to contact the consumer to make him aware of an account that had been placed with our office for collection.

On August 2nd when we spoke with the consumer, he immediately advised our representative that he was in a bad reception area and would call back. In response to his question, our representative advised him that this was regarding a personal business matter.

On August 4th when we contacted the consumer after not hearing back from him. However, as he refused to confirm his address, we could not reasonably ascertain we had the correct party, and could not proceed with any disclosure of the nature of our business or the reason for our call.

Federal laws prohibit the discussion of or disclosure of a debt to a party other than the identified consumer, their attorney, or their designee.

At no time did we advise the consumer that we were calling regarding an "opportunity."

When the consumer contacted our office following our second interaction, he again refused to provide any identifying information other than his name, and demanded that we remove his number from our files.

We did remove the number from our files at that time. We did send correspondence to the consumer at the address we have on file detailing the purpose for our call. The address we have on file is the address the consumer provided in this complaint.

Should the consumer wish to discuss this matter further or require any additional information, we invite him to contact our executive office directly at*** and request to speak with our VP of Operations, Mr. ***.

Customer Response

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
This is in relation to a car accident I was involved in and at no fault for. While I do not know why this bill was not paid previously I have forwarded the information to my insurance company to handle and have placed a call to the above number and provided the claim number and a phone number for the adjuster involved in this matter. All further claims in this matter should be handled by the insurance company.

I received a letter claiming a $36 medical debt to a medical entity that does not exist. Fishing scam!
Affiliate claims to be representing Pendrick Capital Partners II, LCC, which has itself been the subject of multiple complaints, including selling false info to third party collection companies.
Patient Name: ***
Current Creditor: Pendirck Capital Partners II
Affiliate acct #:***
Original Account #: ***
Original creditor: EPMG of MI***
Date of Service: 01/23/2015\Balance Due: $36.30

I started filling out an online form, as I would do for any billing company. The only payment option offered was direct from my bank, which was a HUGE red flag! I started researching and discovered EPMG of MI*** doesn't exists, and Pendirck Capital Partners II has a history of selling false into to 3rd party collection companies.

The bad news for me is I confirmed my contact info with the company before I figured out there was something fishy/scammy going on.

Desired Outcome

Not to engage in predatory, unethical and possibly illegal business activity. Remove all my contact info from their databases. Don't mess with librarians, of which I am one. To quote the fictional *** from Parks & Recreation: ""The library is the worst group of people ever assembled in history. They're mean, conniving, rude, and extremely well-read, which makes them dangerous.""

Affiliate Asset Solutions Response

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to the consumer's complaint.

Affiliate Asset Solutions, LLC is fully compliant with all federal and state regulations pertaining to the third party collection of debt. In our written communication to this consumer, we have identified the current and original creditor, the date of service, the amount due, our contact information, including our physical and internet address, phone number and hours of operation. We have also provided the consumer with notices regarding the consumer's right to dispute the debt, and the method for notifying us of any dispute.

Although the consumer has not denied receiving medical service on the date provided, and although she has not disputed the debt per se, we offer the following response to her comments.

Emergency Physicians Medical Group, does, in fact, exist. One of their physicians actually provided service to the consumer on the date of service provided in our letter to the consumer.

The consumer's insurance carrier processed the health care provider's billed claim, processed the claim, and satisfied all but the outstanding balance which we billed the consumer on behalf of the current creditor, Pendrick Capital Partners II, LLC. Her insurance company's processing of the original claim by itself should satisfy the consumer's concern regarding the validity of the physicians' practice.

Perhaps the confusion for the consumer is that the information contained in our communication includes the corporate name and the location of the facility where she was treated. We also believe that the consumer is misreading the acronym PC (Professional Corporation) as "PD" from her response above.

We suggest that the consumer contact her insurance carrier, or review her files, for a copy of the explanation of benefits provided when her insurance company processed the claim for this provider and date of service.

We cannot speak to the "complaints" that the consumer alleges that she found on the internet. We can state that Pendrick Captial Partners II, LLC is an established, reputable, compliant and well respected organization in the Accounts Receivable Management industry, and does not "sell information" to third party collection agencies.

On our website, (***) the first payment option presented to the consumer is an option to pay directly from a bank account. If a consumer does not wish to use that method of payment, they can click the tab for CREDIT CARD payments and pay by credit or debit card. The option is clearly and plainly marked. Further, our website provides multiple avenues for consumers to communicate any questions, concerns, or requests for information that they may have. Consumers may also pay over the phone or by mail. Phone numbers and addresses are provided on our website.

Should the consumer have any questions concerning this matter, she is welcome to contact our corporate office directly at

Unprofessional and potential scam
This company, that I have never heard of, nor have any previous correspondence with, calls me day in and day out. They never leave a message. One time, I answered in an attempt to end the calls. A very rude man kept insisting that I owed this company over $500, but could not tell me what the debt was for. He also kept asking me for my personal information or to confirm certain details of my personal information. This is where I began to feel very uncomfortable and asked him to mail me information and he said they had mailed me several letters and now they were going to only call. I have yet to receive any of these supposed letters. I believe this company is scamming people out of fear and intimidation.

Desired Outcome

I would like mail correspondence ONLY with an explanation of the debt that I supposedly owe. I want the company to STOP calling me, PERIOD.

Affiliate Asset Solutions Response

In response to the consumer's complaint, please note the following:
Affiliate Asset Solutions, LLC has attempted to communicate with the consumer by calling the consumer directly, and by sending written correspondence detailing the specifics of the charges we are attempting to collect on.

The debt results from medical care provided to the consumer. In accordance with Federal laws concerning debt collection, we have provided the consumer with the full details of our company to include our address, phone number, type of business, purpose of our call and our website both via telephone and written communication.

Our written communication includes the details of the service provided, specifically the provider, date of service and balance due. The written communication was sent to the consumer on May 12, 2017, to the address provided to the original care provider. We subsequently received a mail return from that address and an address correction to the same address as provided by the consumer in this complaint.

We have sent another letter with the required and requested details as of this date.

When speaking with a consumer by phone, we are required by HIIPA to ensure we have the correct party prior to releasing any protected health information. This requires that in addition to the consumers name and address that we verify either the date of birth, or the last four digits of the consumer's social security number. We only request this information in response to a specific request for detailed information regarding the service in question.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused the consumer, and trust that the consumer understands this practice is to protect their information and is an accepted business practice in our industry.

If the consumer wishes to contact us directly, they may call our corporate office for *** at***.

We have removed the phone numbers for this account, and will not make any further attempts to contact the consumer by phone, unless subsequently authorized by the consumer.

2017 Collection action on invoice paid complete in 2014
Daughter was transported by AMR/Medic West 7/27/2014. Received bill for 526.77 around early September 2014. Finally learned in end of October insurance was not paying this portion of the bill. Paid the amount with credit card first week of November 2014. February 2017 learned Affiliate Assets supposedly receive us in collections in November of 2016. TWO YEARS AFTER BILL WAS PAID. Spoke with *** at Affiliate Assets in February 2017 and gave her the confirmation payment number and she was to close the collections. Also called AMR/Medic West. They indicated it was not their problem and I should have paid my bill! they would not contact Affiliate Assets to remove us from collections. They did mail a statement to me showing zero balance but not payment information or dates. Affiliate Assets wants proof of payment now and will not stop collections stating they bought the debt.

Desired Outcome

Want Affiliate Assets to close the collections. Want AMR/Medic WEST to contact Affiliate Assets to remove the debt. WANT A LETTER OF APOLOGY FROM BOTH COMPANIES FOR THE ERROR IN THEIR COMMUNICATIONS AND UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING FOR BOTH COMPANIES ON PROBLEM RESOLUTION AND HOW TO LISTEN.

Affiliate Asset Solutions Response

We spoke with the consumer on February 17th of this year. At that time she stated that she had paid the bill and would provide proof of same. We sent her written correspondence at that time, as required by Federal Law. We documented her account as disputed, placed the account on a hold status, and awaited her information.
When no details were received, we attempted to contact the consumer 5 times between the last week of February and May 18th.

The consumer contacted our office on May 18th, again advised us that the account was disputed, and was again requested to provide the specifics so that we might research the missing payment. The account was again suspended awaiting the details of the payment in order to investigate the missing or misapplied payment.

Upon receipt of the details in this complaint, we have been able to successfully research the account history with the original creditor, identify and properly credit the referenced payment.

The account has now been properly credited, the balance is paid in full, and our records and our client's records have been closed.

We appreciate the opportunity to respond to the consumer's concerns, and we appreciate her feedback and suggestions.
