Affiliate asset solutions keeps calling me about Travis County Emergency for Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen. I am a 100% Disabled Veteran and all my bills are paid for. The VA has paid Travis County in full last year for a bill of just over $1000. I told them that they are wrong and that they insist that I pay. Why am I going to pay for something that has already been paid? They called me from 866-XXX-7838 and broken English. I don't own any bills for Travis County. They need to stop harassing me for a bill that was paid off months ago.

There was ZERO reason for the amount of attitude I got from whomever called me. They wouldn't tell me what the call was regarding until AFTER I gave my personal information to them. Get out of here. I explicitly stated that I would give no identifying information until I was told whom I a was speaking to, the nature of the call and to which company I was talking to. The response I get is "then why the *** are you still on the phone?" Just prior to the agent hanging up on me. I only knew the name of the company because I called back and it was in the recording. The supervisor was ZERO help to resolve the complaint as well. Pretty pathetically run business when supervisors can't even make you feel heard.

I have received over 11 calls from this company this morning alone. I have spoken to this company in the past regarding a debt that is NOT legitimate.
(I spoke with a rep who was very rude and asked me to "calm my voice" because we were speaking over one another. It is very much harassment for any company to call that many times in the matter of a few minutes.

Desired Outcome

I would like to this company to stop calling me so much and allow me the time to research this because I've never been without insurance.

Affiliate Asset Solutions, LLC (AAS) acknowledges receipt of your complaint regarding this matter and welcomes the opportunity respond to your concerns. we have reviewed our call logs as well as listened to the recordings of the conversations we had with the consumer. We have attempted telephone calls to the consumer between 12/09/2019 and 2/24/2020. We have not attempted to contact him more than once per day in that time period. We also show a total of 11 calls placed by the consumer to us between 12/20/2019 and 2/24/2020. Four of those calls were on 12/20/2019 and 3 of them were on 2/24/2020. AAS has not engaged in the excessive calling pattern that the consumer describes. During the calls the consumer was provided the details of the account as well as in 2 separate letters dated 12/10/2019 and 1/7/2020 both mailed to the address the consumer provided in this complaint. AAS will honor the consumers request to stop contacting him to allow him time to research this matter. He can contact us when he is ready to discuss the account.

I set up a payment plan and paid another account off. One hour later I get a call later saying I owe $500 from 2016. The person was shady and only wanted me to speak with her. I wanted to talk with a manager to verify this information because this was news to me . The other person I worked with didn't see a balance in the amount. Since the shady representative didn't let me speak with my previous rep or manager I just hung up and called back. When I called back the rep I worked with said there was no such balance and was confused. Management said well the shady rep mixed up your account with another person's. MY NAME,ADDRESS,DATE OF BIRTH was confirmed so is that possible.speaking with the processing manager who was RUDE and Yelling said in so many words AT LEAST SHE DIDNT CHARGE YOUR ACCOUNT.THATS WHATS MOST IMPORTANT! I can confidently say no one listened to the call 2/24/20 @12:13p for four minutes and the young shady lady that I talked to will be punished for her miscommunication. I have called again at 3:05p about an account I paid off. Really. The Processing manager who was yelling at me promised no one would call me and less then 30 minutes later I get a call!

I called and spoke to "Rodg". He never advised me that usual "this is an attempt to collect a debt ..." I received a letter from AAS for a bill I've never seen. It seems strange to me that he could not provide me with the name and/or address of the medical provider for this bill. Worst than that, it sounded like he was covering the mic and speaking to someone else ... cursing. I called him out on it. After that the conversation went south; I disconnected the call. I am at a loss about why he could not tell me who sent this bill and provide me with information. This is the first I have seen this bill. I wanted answers. I do not intend to send money for a bill I never received.

Everytime they call and I answer they never say anything. The one time a woman actually answered, she did not say who she was, or where she was calling from. She just started asking me if I was ***, and if I lived at ***, I asked her where she was calling from she mumbled something rude and hung up on me. The only reason I know its affiliate assets Solutions is because I called after hours and heard there message.

This company uses illegal tactics to collect. They have contacted a party in my family who is not responsible for the bill they said I owe. I have disputed the bill for over five years, told them not to contact me by phone and sent a letter to that effect. So instead of contacting me, they contacted a family member by phone! I did not owe this bill but paid it anyway just to get them off our back! Terrible company...terrible customer service reps who are rude and will hang up on you if you tell them anything other than here is my credit card number!

Well, simple this company has did me no justice. I was notified of a debt which upon immediately receiving notification, I called this company and told them this was in error and I did not owe any debt for medical services. My debt with the company they received this from was paid in full and verified this with the company. However in short, and I understand people, but not all people are liars! Although, the original company who they received this debt from did not notified them that it was paid, and I could blame the original company, However, upon my notification to the company, which they were very helpful and told me I owed them nothing and was paid in full. As I said, I told this to Affiliates not once, but more than once and they wanted me to contact my insurance company and provide proof! "Guilty before Innocent".

Well, in today's world of "FRAUD" I didn't think that was a good idea, so I contacted "Emergency Medical Associates-ESH" myself and received a letter saying paid in full. Although, I didn't provide this to Affiliates and spoke to them about it, because it didn't have any accounts number on it, which they wanted. After which I called ESH and they made the update on the "portal system" and as for know it is cleared up.

Bottomline- Before a notice goes out of indebtedness, this company should verify to make sure it is still outstanding before destroying someone credit and lively hood. To add, my bill was paid through insurance a month after the service of (4/13/18) was given. Plus, the consumer should not have to prove their innocents. In this case, if someone tells them it is paid, than the company should investigate this dispute and notify the consumer of status just like they notified them (by letter) of the indebtedness.

To add, I haven't checked on my credit score yet, but if it is damaged, then legal action will have to occur. Also a letter from this company would be nice, stating "this account is no-longer in collections and they have been notified that it is paid in full"

Consistent phone calls relating to a "personal business matter" and when inquired they hang up.
I have received 8 calls from (XXX) XXX-XXXX, 6 calls from (XXX) XXX-XXXX, 10 calls from (XXX) XXX-XXXX since the beginning of December 2019, all claiming to be this agency. They immediately ask to confirm personally identifiable information, and when asked what this is in regards to they state it is a "personal business matter" and then refuse any further information. They do not identify themselves as a debt collector as required by law, and do not identify with whom they are trying to obtain information on behalf of. I am a disabled veteran and do not manage my finances without additional information no further actions can be taken. Once challenged with any questions before handing private personal information over they immediately have attitude stating "If that is how you want to act, we will call back" then hang up.

If this does not end, I will be filing an FBI report interstate harassment and cyberstalking.

Desired Outcome

1) No further contact by this business 2) As this is a debt collector, removal of all data from this agency from my credit report 3) Direct communication from original debt source in writing to address on file with said agency.

Affiliate Asset Solutions, LLC (AAS) acknowledges receipt of your complaint regarding this matter and welcomes the opportunity respond to your concerns. We have listened to the calls in question and can provide the following response. We have attempted to discuss an outstanding medical account with the consumer. We have attempted to do that on several telephone calls. Due to the sensitivity of this matter we do need to properly identify the party we are speaking to as the correct party. We were unable to do so during these calls. HIPAA regulations require us to properly identify the correct consumer before providing and detailed information. On each call we did provide our company name and explain this. The consumer was unwilling to positively confirm his identity. It is unfortunate that we arrived at this impasse as we are trying to help the consumer resolve this matter by understanding his situation. We did mal a letter to the consumer at the address provided the original creditor at the time of service. The city and state do match what the consumer provided in this complaint although he did not provide a street address. We will not attempt to contact the consumer further as he requested but our offer to help resolve this matter remains open. Should the consumer wish to discuss this further he can contact our VP of Operations, *** Parks toll free at XXX-XXX-XXXX directly.

This company continues to call my cell phone to reach my husband & then hangs up on my if I ask for more info or a letter to him.
My phone continues to receive 1-888 #'s calls without people giving me information or putting anything in writing then they hang up on me. I have called them back and its allegedly on a recorded line. No managers respond to calls. Requests for information in writing leads to hang ups.

Desired Outcome

I think this company needs to be put a watch list or something to protect the general public. At least be censured for harassment.

Affiliate Asset Solutions, LLC (AAS) acknowledges receipt of your complaint regarding this matter and welcomes the opportunity respond to your concerns. We have listened to the calls in question and can provide the following response. We are attempting to reach a ***. We did mail a letter to him to the address that is listed in this complaint on 12/30/19. That letter has not been returned to us, so it appears it was received. I have listened to the calls in question and the consumer is accurate. AAS agents did ask to speak to *** on all 3 calls we placed to this phone number. Due to the sensitivity of this matter we do need to properly identify the party we are speaking to as the correct party. We were unable to do so during these calls. On the call we received from the consumer we did again explain that we need to speak to Mr. to obtain authorization to discuss the matter. During one of the calls the consumer did ask us to call *** at a different telephone number but did not provide that number. One of our managers attempted to contact Mrs. to explain why we must validate a person's identity prior to released Protected Health Information. She was not content with that explanation and accused us of just trying to get her personal information. Should the consumer or her husband wish to discuss this further she can contact our VP of Operations, *** toll free at XXX-XXX-XXXX directly. He will be able to help them resolve the matter.

They have called my mother and my husband and told him about my debt. The also call me during work hours and that threatens my job.

Desired Outcome

stop calling me. I have given my email address and that is the best way to contact me. and stop calling my mother and my husband, who is now divorcing me as this is one of the main issues. you have ruined my life by telling everyone about my debt. you should be ashamed of yourselves.

Affiliate Asset Solutions, LLC (AAS) acknowledges receipt of your complaint regarding this matter and welcomes the opportunity respond to your concerns. We have researched the consumers complaint and found that we have never had any contact with her, her spouse or her mother regarding the account in question or any other matter. The account was placed with us on 11/1/19. We mailed a validation notice containing all relevant account information to the consumer at the address provided when the services were rendered. That address is the same as the one provided in this complaint. We have made numerous attempts to contact the consumer via telephone, however everyone of those calls was answered by a voicemail. We have never spoken with anyone regarding this matter. We believe that the consumer may have a valid complaint against a different party, but we have not done the things she is accusing us of.

Harassing phone calls for a debt! Insisting the "ONLY" way to clear the debt up is to make copies of my insurance cards and send to them!!! RED FLAGS!
I have been receiving many harassing phone calls from AFFILIATE Asset Solutions, stating that I have a debt collection in the amount of $ 946 20. I offered to give them my retro insurance numbers over the phone to clear this debt up, as I I have done numerous other places without any problems. They REFUSED to take any numbers over the phone!!
They insisted I must make copies of my insurance cards and send to them! I did not feel comfortable doing that, as I have NEVER, in my life been required to do that clearing up any form of debt!
I ask if I was on a recorded line. The man said yes, I told him I was not refusing to pay the debt, but could he please send me a bill showing the orginal bill and amount and I would return it. He said they had already se t one and I did not comply. I ask why he couldn't send another one, again not refusing to settle any debt. He said it was just the way the company worked and he would have to have copies of my insurance cards. I was not rude, but set that I would not send any copy of my cards. He could send me a bill.
A few days later. I did not receive a "bill", however, it was a duplicate letter just stating the amount I owed. No statement showing the orginal date of service to whom or any kind of return envelope. I do not know ANY other companies that would EVER,ask you to mail them copies of your personal information. I have recently had to work with ALOT of debt collection people, whom ALL have been very understanding and kind. I have no intentions of ever mailing my personal information to anyone.

Desired Outcome

If this is a "REAL" debt . I want the orginal date of service and where it took place mailed to me in a timely fashion. I only have so much time to settle my debt from a $200,000.00 Surgery. If this is legitimate, this place could have done this the 1st time I ask and they need to STOP calling me. The only way I will deal with this company is if I see a real statement from the place my visit took place, showing, the date , facility, and Doctor. I will NEVER make copies of my personal information and send to ANYONE!

Affiliate Asset Solutions Response • Dec 04, 2019

Affiliate Asset Solutions, LLC (AAS) acknowledges receipt of this complaint and thanks you for the opportunity to respond. We have attempted to resolve an outstanding account balance with the consumer. We have not called to harass or inconvenience her. Our client has no record of insurance information being provided at the time services were rendered. If the consumer believes her insurance should have covered this account, we do need that information. Its normally easier for consumers to send a copy of the insurance card. If the consumer prefers to provide the information over the phone, she can contact us, and we would be glad to take the information and attempt to bill the insurance company on her behalf. She can contact our VP of Operations, *** directly at XXX-XXX-XXXX to do that or for any other concerns. We will do our best to resolve this on her behalf.

Customer Response • Dec 06, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
While I appreciate the response and they did say in their response they would be be willing to take the information over the phone!
The failed to admit their dishonesty in how many times they called me . I have logs. Also I dont understand why they refuse to mail me a bill showing who the debt is owed to with the date of service . Atleast I could keep a portion for my records.
Is this the only collections place that REFUSES to mail you a bill so you can send it back?? I personally like keeping up with my records. I personally have spent alot of time clearing up debts from debtors because I had no insurance fro 4 years and was awaiting disability! I have not had 1 single problem, except with AFFILIATE SOLUTIONS.
SEND ME THE BILL WITH A RETURN ENVELOPE SHOWING WHAT THE SERVICE WAS FOR AND DATE. I WILL CLEAR UP THE DEBT.

Affiliate Asset Solutions Response • Dec 11, 2019

AAS has never refused to send the consumer what she asked for. In actuality we did mail her a detailed itemization of the charges on 12/5/19. Furthermore, we have been dishonest in any way regarding the phone calls made to the consumer. Every call we make is logged. We will restate our offer to either bill the insurance company if the consumer has the appropriate coverage or work with her to resolve the account with affordable payment terms if this service was provided during the time, she did not have insurance. All she needs to do is call us to discuss the matter at the number provided in our original response.

I am being harassed/manipulated by aggressive men demanding I pay a debt I don't owe, and they will not give me the information to confirm that.
Brandon and his supervisor Al *** at Affiliate Asset Solutions have called me several times to harass me over a medical debt I'm not even sure that I owe. They have the hospital and the time right, but refuse to give me the name of the doctor from whom they purchased the debt, and have lied to me about the debt being purchased at all (saying they are collecting for a doctor, again whose name they have refused to tell me as that's something "you should know"). Al never lets me speak, always interrupts me, and wouldn't even give me my account number the last time he called. Brandon has asked if I am refusing to pay, but I am suspicious of this debt in the first place, as when I went to this Hospital they assured me the visit would be free, and I have called them three times now to confirm that I have never had any billing account with them. More than anything I am confused and would like to stop being harassed by such aggressive men. Al even told me to call my retired parents living on social security to see if they could come up with $900 to settle this $1,400 debt, so even the amount seems arbitrary.

Desired Outcome

The best case scenario would be the erasure of this "debt", or at very least a legitimate explanation of it, including the name of the physician purportedly seeking compensation.

Affiliate Asset Solutions Response • Dec 02, 2019

Affiliate Asset Solutions, LLC (AAS) acknowledges receipt of this complaint and has researched the matter thoroughly. We have reviewed the calls in question. We did mail the consumer a validation notice on 9/27/19 providing all legally required account information. On 11/8/19 we received a $20 payment from this consumer on this account. We do not understand why he believes we purchased the account.
Our 1st verbal contact with the consumer was on 9/26/19. The consumer called us as a result of missing an earlier call we placed to hi. He acknowledged the debt and was interested in the settlement we offered. He asked if he could verify that on line, so we provided him our website information. He said he was interested in taking advantage of the settlement and even said he would do it that same day after he verified the information.
Our next conversation was on 11/8/19 the consumer said he couldn't afford the settlement but that he could pay $20 that day and he would arrange on the balance at a future date. That payment was made over the phone during that call. At that time, he agreed to discuss the future payment terms. The consumer offered to reach out to his parents to see if he could borrow the money. That was not suggested by our representative. We did ask if he could contact them that day instead of waiting until Monday. The call ended with the consumer saying he would call them that day so he could settle the account. The consumer said he would call back in an hour and the call ended amicably. The consumer called back later that day as he said he would. He said he spoke to his parents and he could offer $400 to settle the account. We explained we were unable to accept that offer. He then asked us how much we paid when we bought the account. We explained that we did not buy the account. He asked if we were collecting for the hospital or the doctor. We explained clearly that we were calling on behalf of the current creditor Pendrick Capital Partners. He again kept asking how much we paid for the debt. The consumer became agitated by our response and he ended the call. We have had 3 additional calls with our representatives where he opened the call asking who we represent. We continually explained the creditor was Pendrick Capital Partners and even spelled it for him. He stated he does not know who Pendrick is so that he didn't understand why he should pay. He again verified the date of service and hospital. He claims that the Hospital told him he has no balance due so he would need to file a police report for AAS attempting to scam him. For some reason the consumer kept not understanding that the account was Purchased by Pendrick and not AAS or that the doctor billing is separate from the hospital.
On none of these calls were our agents harassing or manipulative. We continually expressed an interest in helping him settle the account at a reduced amount. He was very open to that in our early conversations. At the consumers request we will mail him a detailed billing summary including all charges as well as the doctors name. At that time, he can contact us, and we will still work with him to resolve this balance in a reasonable manner based on his financial situation. can contact our VP of Operations, *** directly at XXX-XXX-XXXX.

Bunch of high-school drop-outs who don't know their *** from their mouths...You call (5) times you'll get (6) "answers". So much run-around and bad attitudes. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was hung-up on.

Erroneous collection letter.
I received a collections letter yesterday from Affiliate. It claims I owe Pendrick Capital Partners, on behalf of "Travis County Emergency Phys", a total of $2,685.70.

I have to date never engaged Travis County in any services of any kind. From what I can see on the letter, and from what the woman I spoke with at 855-820-5237 told me, it appears to be some sort of a medical or emergency charge.

I have not utilized any sort of emergency medical treatments or emergency services with Travis County. I have not utilized any sort of emergency medical treatments or emergency services with any entity at all in at least five years.

The woman at 855-820-5237 said she had no power to do anything other than collect payment.

Affiliate Account Number is: XXXXXXXXXX.

I have received no other materials from Affiliate in the past. This is the first notification I have ever received regarding this erroneous charge.

Desired Outcome

I did not utilize any services of any kind from Travis County since we moved here from Michigan in January 2013. This includes the date specified on 10-3-18. I would like the collections efforts to cease completely and to ensure there is no negative impact on my credit rating. They clearly have the wrong ***.

Affiliate Asset Solutions Response • Nov 19, 2019

Affiliate Asset Solutions, LLC (AAS) acknowledges receipt of this complaint and thanks you for the opportunity to respond. It appears that the consumers address may have inadvertently been associated with this account. There will be no further attempts to contact this person. AAS is not a credit reporting agency so there has been no impact on his credit report.

Called me none stop but no one was on the other side. Then today they called and all I heard was "hang up on me" and then hung up.

I've asked for bills to be mailed to me. And I've never received them. When I ask again they tell me they've mailed one as won't mail more.

AFFILIATE IS A SCAM COMPANY DEMANDING $900 AND I VERIFIED THAT IS UNTRUE. THEY SOMEHOW GOT MY UPDATED ADDRESS. WATCH OUT DO NOT PAY THEM.
SCAM DEMANDING MONEY

Desired Outcome

NA SCAM

Affiliate Asset Solutions Response • Oct 21, 2019

Affiliate Asset Solutions, LLC (AAS) acknowledges receipt of this complaint and thanks you for the opportunity to respond. AAS is a reputable collection agency properly licensed as required. It is unclear why this consumer believes otherwise. We did mail the consumer a letter that contained the required and relevant information to validate the account. We also had one brief telephone conversation with the consumer. On that call she immediately said that she had spoken to someone to make arrangements to pay this bill. We explained she did not speak with us or the current creditor. She replied that she made a payment arrangement with the hospital and she doesn't owe anyone $800. Tie account we have in our office is not a hospital bill. It is for emergency physicians' services provided at the hospital but by a non hospital physicians group which is billed separately. In addition, our account does not have a balance of $800.00. While we were trying to further investigate this matter with her the consumer abruptly terminated the call. We are still willing to help the consumer resolve this if she desires. We suggest that the consumer contact us directly so that we may understand why she feels she is not responsible for this account. She can contact our VP of Operations, Tim *** directly at XXX-XXX-XXXX.

This company is a total scam! This is the second time they have tried to do this to me with a bill that they have no information on. Both times I have called the doctors offices and they have told me they have no past due balances for me! They are trying to rip people off!

Questionable Collection Practices
I received a phone call from Affiliate Asset Solutions, LLC in July 2019 informing me of their intent to collect on a debt owned by Pendrick Capital Partners, LLC, a company which I have never engaged in any contractual way either verbal nor written. The call was in reference to an account number provided by Affiliate Asset Solutions, LLC as XXXXXXXXXX having a balance of $1,387.80. I sent a letter to Affiliate Asset Solutions, LLC via certified post on September 3, 2019 requesting in writing debt verification including supporting documentation showing the right to collect on the alleged debt, the original billing statement and payment provided by the insurance company and unpaid balance allegedly owed. Rather than providing debt verification as required by law, Affiliate Asset Solutions, LLC that simply included Pendrick Capital Partners, LLC as an account purchaser, the original creditor, EMP of Mercer County LTD and balance. This is insufficient and cannot be considered lawful verification of debt, nor have they provided sufficient evidence showing a contractual obligation between myself and Pendrick Capital Partners, LLC. After receiving this letter, I made multiple return calls to their office in Pittsburgh, where I have been receiving multiple harassing calls almost daily from either a 412 number, XXX-XXX-XXXX, XXX-XXX-XXXX, and many other numbers. Every call I have had with Affiliate Asset Solutions, LLC has been recorded. The first call I had with one of their representatives resulted in him reprimanding me over the phone such as "do you really want to escalate this because once you go there you cannot go back;" I simply asked for his assistance in providing verification and the original billing statement showing charges incurred, payment made by the insurance company, and any alleged unpaid balance owed. Instead of assisting me, he made threatening comments and spoke to me in a belittling way. The second call I had simply resulted in the lady using the same tactics, trying to scare me into making a payment rather than providing me with the requested information. The third call I had with another person ended with them telling me that a person by the name of 'Ty' had sent me an email to ***@gmail.com containing the requested information. I checked my email while I was on the phone with that individual and was unable to located said communication. I informed them and she told me that Ty would contact me. I did not receive any phone call from Ty. I then called them back on two separate occasions to speak with Ty, I was placed on hold and then told that Ty was busy with someone else and would call me back. I have yet to receive any of the requested documents from Ty nor Affiliate Asset Solutions, LLC. You have recordings of the calls, if you need me to provide, I will do so as well.

Desired Outcome

Affiliate Asset Solutions, LLC needs to provide me with the following as was originally requested: 1. Original billing statement from EMP of Mercer County LTD showing charges, payments provided by Medicaid, and any balances owed. 2. Provide documents showing my contractual obligation to Pendrick Capital Partners, LLC. 3. Cease the harassing phone calls and provide me with the requested documentation so we can resolve this issue ASAP.

Affiliate Asset Solutions Response • Oct 02, 2019

Affiliate Asset Solutions, LLC (AAS) acknowledges receipt of this complaint and thanks you for the opportunity to respond. We have sent the consumer a validation notice explaining the original creditor, Date of service and other pertinent information regarding this account. We have also emailed him an itemized billing statement to the email address he provided. This contained the procedure codes that led to this balance. After we were given a correct email address this document was resent today. The contractual obligation was to the original creditor. That obligation transferred to the current creditor, our client at the time the unpaid account was sold. According to the records there was no insurance information provided at the date of service on 6/6/2017, therefore there was no insurance billed. There was no contact with the consumer after the date of service were, he provided or even inquired about insurance coverage. The consumer can discuss this with his insurance company to see if they will cover the claim this long after the service. If they agree to do that, he should contact us and let us know. We have also reviewed the call recordings and disagree with the consumers view of those calls. Our agents tried to accommodate him by explaining the balance and agreeing to email him the information he requested. They were not reprimanding or trying to intimidate the consumer. We have provided him the information he requested. We have updated his account as a dispute in our office. While this will not alleviate his responsibility to our client, we will no longer attempt to contact him. If the consumer would like more to discuss this further, he can contact our VP of Operations, *** at XXX-XXX-XXXX. We will be glad to help resolve this if we can or arrange for an affordable payment plan.

Rcvd collection letter for $97 hospital bill from 2018. Called hospital- bill was paid in full months ago
Collection notices dated 7/3/19 and 8/19/19. Amount is $97 from Emerg Med Assoc- CHC for service provided 7/3/18. I called 9/11/19 and questioned this as I have receipts for all payments on this account. I asked if I could fax receipts and was provided fax number but then rep said to not send receipts. Before I could get clarification the phone was disconnected. I then called CHC billing and provided information. Kaitlyn said there is no balance and it was likely a scam. I don't know what to think however I do not want any issues with my credit. I have no outstanding bills per the hospital.

Desired Outcome

I want a letter stating there is no balance due and there will be no ill effect to my credit.

Affiliate Asset Solutions Response • Sep 13, 2019

Affiliate Asset Solutions, LLC (AAS) acknowledges receipt of this complaint and thanks you for the opportunity to respond. We have researched your claim with our client. Their records show that the original charges were $900.00 and there was an insurance adjustment of $453 reducing the balance to $447. They show a payment of $200 on 4/26/19 and a payment of $150 on 5/23/19. That leaves a remaining balance due of $97.00 We reviewed the call recording and you stated the final payment was made on 2/27/19. It appears that there may be some confusion about which account the consumer paid. This is for the emergency room physicians' services which are billed separately from the hospital. As they are separate entities these charges will not be in the hospital records. It is very common for a patient to receive multiple bills from different providers for one emergency room visit. We have closed this account as a dispute and referred it back to our client. AAS will make no further attempts to contact you regarding this matter.

Customer Response • Sep 13, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I have never received any other bills related to that date of service other than the ones that I have paid. Thank you for following up so quickly and resolving this matter. Your client can contact me directly with any outstanding bill.
