I reject this because they have not provided me the additional information I request in my initial response. I want the recorded phone call that this supposed operational manager Joey called me to tell me my account was closed because he or anyone from this company NEVER contacted me. I also want the contract I signed saying I do not have a first amendment right of freedom of speak when dealing with this company and they can cancel my service.I am not dropping this until this company acknowledged they lied because Joey never called me since there is no proof of this and they can just lie and nothing will happen. Advance needs to investigate there operational manager. I will not stop until I expose them as a lying company that does not tell there clients anything. I want other people aware of this also because I am not the first they lie to. So advance where is the Joey and the recording??? Again he didn't do his job. You are liar's and I will Not stop!!!

Review: I have been in conflict since August about a billing issue with Advanced Disposal. I sent in my payment on time. they called me to say I mailed it to the wrong address but that they would forward it correctly to the right department. they never did. now they are charging me late charges! I have been trying to resolve this issue since August. Each month I call them and they assure me that they will take care of it and each month I get charged more late charges. now they will not even call me back about it and just keep charging me more in service charges. I will gladly pay the initial payment that they lost, but that doesn't seem to be agreeable to them even though it was there mistake that they never forwarded the payment slip onto the correct department after being assured that they would! I am totally disgusted with their customer service department. I need help in resoving this issue.Desired Settlement: I would like to get a corrected bill with only the amount of payment $24.72 that I originally paid them. this is what I am willing to pay. not their late fees!!!

Review: Our trash can was accidentally put in the dumpster and after I called the trash company they apologized and said they would immediately deliver another can. They take my phone number and promise the new can would be delivered and if there is an issue they will call me back. I have at this point called them over 8 times and repeatedly am
Being told it will be delivered and they will call me and now 2 months later no trash can and no calls back. I am appalled by the lack of customer service they provide. I even had to go purchase my own trash can in the mean time so trash doesn't build up in our yard. The manager I have been speaking with named "dawn"
Assured me it would be delivered on 8/18/14 and if any issue she will call me. This was the last straw. Still here on 8/19 I have no call or no can. The location I have been calling in Advanced Disposal
On [redacted] in [redacted] Pa. Please help me!Desired Settlement: I would like to be compensated for the trash cans I had to purchase because they would not deliver and would like the trash can I was promised delivered immediately

Review: We canceled service for our apartment building June 9 and asked them to pick up the 2 yard dumpster from our premise. We have repeatedly called them and they have continued to send us billings even though we DO NOT have a contract with them. Their office has informed us that they finally closed our account in July but we still receive billings and they still have not picked up the dumpster. We had paid for the June coverage and are asking for credit in the way of a check back from them from the date we canceled.Desired Settlement: they will stop the illegal billing and pick up the dumpster as we have requested since the second week of June and refund our money that was paid for the entire month of June and pro rate it from the 9th.

Review: I moved at the end of June and called trash removal companies.Advanced Disposal over the phone quoted me a 2 year agreement at $20/per month. I verbally agreed to the two year contract. No contract was sent to me to sign. The conversation was recorded per their announcement at the beginning of the call. My first bill was at the correct amount. My next bill was charged at a higher rate. I have called and spoken with three different people. I have asked to speak with a manager. No one informed me that they were in fact a manager. They stated that since I have not signed a contract, that one of their employees have never mailed that the promotion at that rate is no longer available and the higher rates are what it is. That is such a scam. If the company cared about customer service they would HONOR the agreement that they OFFER to me. Their employee dropped the ball and they feel that they can now charge a higher rate. Also, it took two weeks to receive garbage cans at my new place so I paid for two weeks of service that I never received. I also have called several times requesting that I still didn't receive my garbage cans. I totally feel that this is not how you treat a new customer.Desired Settlement: I want the company to HONOR the 2 year agreement of service at $20.00 per month until June 2016.

Review: Advanced Disposal bills quarterly for trash and recycling service. The company recently switched to a new website to handle online payments. When one goes to pay through the website, one of the options is to schedule the payment for the due date (which the website fills in). This is the option I have chosen. However, if this date happens to fall on a weekend, Advanced Disposal sends a second bill for a late payment, claiming that the payment wasn't posted until the Monday, and was thus late. I have called to complain, but was told the website clearly states that payments may take 24-48 hours to clear. It is true, this notice is posted on the billing page, but it is not anywhere on the page where one has to select a payment date. I said on the phone that if the company wants the payment by a certain date, it should list this as the due date (e.g. last day of the month not on a weekend). I find this practice misleading and highly unethical.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the late fee of $7.96, which I have paid.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I hope that Advanced Disposal will follow up on the agent's promise to me to review and revise the payment system on its website.
Regards,
Review: When I signed up for service, my contract stated "I am enrolling in the rate protection program wherein my rate will not increase more than 5% per year after the first year." In 2013, I was paying Advanced Disposal a total of $66.75 per quarter for trash services. I just received my first quarter 2014 bill and I am now paying $72.08 per quarter -- an 8% increase. When I contacted the business, they told me that my trash rate only increased to $70.08 per quarter, technically a 5% increase. The additional $2.00 per quarter is a new administrative fee I'm being charged. The bottom line is my trash bill has gone up 8%, not 5%, and the company is charging this administrative fee as a way to circumvent the terms of the contract they agreed to. If I follow the company's logic, they could institute a new fee for any dollar amount each year, and not violate the terms of their contract. So while it's only $2 per quarter now, they could raise it or add new fees totaling $20 or more a quarter next year and, in their minds, not violate the terms of the contract. This is a deceptive and unethical business practice, and should not be tolerated by Pennsylvania consumers.Desired Settlement: The company should not be permitted to raise the total bill for trash services more than 5% a year, as stated in their contract. All customers like myself who have been charged this new administrative fee should have their fee refunded immediately.
Review: My company, [redacted] LLC has been using Advanced Disposal for waste collection services for the past few years. We have become dissatisfied with their service and have been trying to cancel our service with them for about one month's time. There have been several calls made by both myself and the owner of the company, as well as several emails requesting that they come to collect their dumpsters and discontinue our service. If we receive any response, it is only to be told that we have to be called back by a sales representative, as they are the only employees who can cancel our service. We have never been called by a sales rep, and all of our emails have gone unanswered.Desired Settlement: We would like for Advanced Disposal Services to come to collect their dumpsters and discontinue our service. We have not used their dumpsters since we have been trying to cancel and will not accept any charges past those presented to us at the end of April.
