I recently bought a car here as a first car for my daughter, and it was definitely a very pleasant experience for the both of us! MrR [redacted] was extremely professional in guiding us to make the right decision for such a big purchaseI would highly recommend going here to anyone looking for a quality used car
Revdex.com spoke to business and the following was relayed: The consumer entered a contract, I got him approved through a a sub-prime lenderI have tried to contact himThere is no legal obligation to refund their deposit, on the office wall there is signage that clearly states that deposits are not refundableAdditionally, we lost out on other qualified buyers who were interested in the vehicle but we had contractually soldHowever, in good faith I am willing to offer the consumer half of his original deposit, or $350, in an effort to resolve thisIf the consumer agrees, I will take care of right away
Refund was sent to wrong address: [redacted] *, [redacted] NY ***Complaint was advised week of 1/22/Will be sent to correct address
Horrible experience with John R [redacted] at Action Automotive ServiceDoes not want anything to do with you or car after he gets your money! Had a major problem with my engine and he refused to pay even though it was still under the day dealer warranty, not a good person, man, or salesman!
Revdex.com spoke to [redacted] and [redacted] at the business and the following was relayed: We have offered in good faith $towards the customer's bill and we maintain that offerIf the torque bolts were on wrong they would have come off before the customer was able to put 7,miles on itWe never saw the car overheatingShe put 7,miles on it, there are many possibilities as to what could have caused it
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint Attached is the USPS history of the certified letter that I sent to the businessPlease note 2/which notes that the letter was refusedIn addition, a notice was left 2/4, so days passed after the business was notified of the letter to when it was refused Attached are my phone records covering the period from the last time [redacted] and I spoke on the phone to when I received a response from [redacted] via the Revdex.comI never received a call or message from the technician or [redacted] as claimed I have made more than enough attempts to resolve this issue: 1) 10/28/- Called and discussed after the first overheating incidentAgreed to see if it was just air in the cooling system creating an air lock 2) 12/12/- Called and discussed with [redacted] and agreed to see if replacing the radiator cap would fix the issue 3) 1/17/- Brought the car to [redacted] and had a failed repair attempt (installed a radiator, which was not the problem after I specifically requested that any and all diagnostic tests be conducted to ensure the problem would be addressed) 4) 1/30/- Called and talked to [redacted] and was hung up on 5) 1/30/- Sent a Revdex.com complaint which took days to receive a response 6) 2/2/- Sent a certified letter which was refused I could not wait longer to get a response from [redacted] as I needed a reliable vehicle for transportation and it was recommended by a [redacted] dealer to discontinue driving it until repaired This vehicle was represented to me at the time of sale as having a head gasket replacement which was a major selling point for meThis repair was done incorrectly by the business, resulting in my expenditure of $after the above attempts failed at resolving the issue I will accept $dollars to resolve this matter and close this complaint amicablyIf I do no not hear from the business by 3/10/I will be seeking compensation through small claims court and this complaint will remain open Sincerely, [redacted] ***

I purchased my first vehicle from Action Auto of Fairview Ave in Hudson approximately years ago Because of that experience, I have purchased additional vehicles upgrades for me and my wife and a truck from my sonHe charges a fair price but, it is the fact that he stands behind what he sells that has motivated me to write this review The truck that I bought for my son had over 100,miles on it After about a month, the truck's electric window stopped working I called and brought the truck in Something was run with a motor Not only did the problem get fixed but I was not charged anything They really want the customer happy and do anything to get repeat business
BBB spoke to [redacted] at the business and the following was relayed: The consumer is out of warranty. She called about a month owning car. I told her to bring it back here and she decided to bring it somewhere else. The overheating issues are inconsistent and have not been exhibited when with us.... The consumer recently resurfaced and I put a new radiator and thermostat, a $500 repair that was done in good faith and I was not responsible for. The customer has put 8,000 miles on the car and is still driving it. The consumer needs to contact ***. He is a certified mechanic and was the mechanic originally on the car. He can be reached at ###-###-####. If there is something wrong with the vehicle we will make it right. She is going to have to leave the car for a long enough period of time for us to have the problem exhibited.
Revdex.com spoke to John at business and the following was relayed: The consumer had came in with her boyfriend and was going to use his truck as a trato finance the vehicleHer boyfriend then came in alone stating he did not want to use his truck for the trade in and demanded the money backI did
not speak with the customer until the next day and no money was returned to the boyfriend as the contract was in her nameThe vehicle was prepared for the consumer, the third party became a conflict of interestI am still offering the consumer the vehicle for the original price but will not accept the third party trade in
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

I do not understand the backup documents he provided. He charged me $397 for towing. His "Tow Rates" sheet states $295. Is this sheet posted in his shop? What is the additional $102 for? He claims I "ordered" a battery that he had to return. I never ordered a battery. He insisted he had a battery there he could install, but I did not want his battery. Is he billing me for this battery? I understand the $130 labor to start the car, but do not understand the additional $95 (can't read the writing on the invoice).
