Thank you for your inquiry.  The clutch master cylinder recall did not involve 2013 models, thus the reason your request for reimbursement was denied.  Thank you for allowing us to explain our position in this matter.

Thank you for notifying me of regarding Mr. [redacted]’s concern regarding Revdex.com’s number [redacted]. I have investigated this file and found that Mr. [redacted] contacted Harley-Davidson Customer Service on March 27, 2017 regarding a paint concern on his 2014 FXDC103. It was explained to...

Mr. [redacted] on March 30, 2017 that the area affected on his motorcycle is considered a “D” surface, which is defined as a surface hidden by other components of the motorcycle, or a surface with low. Per Harley-Davidson’s Cosmetic Guidelines all conditions on a Zone D surface are acceptable unless the finish integrity is compromised or unless otherwise stated. It was also noted that the Limited Factory Warranty on Mr. [redacted]’s 2014 FXDC103, Vehicle Identification Number [redacted], had expired on April 1, 2016.  For the reasons listed above Mr. [redacted]’s request for an exchange of the motorcycle, or replacement of his fenders and gas tank is denied. Thank you for allowing me to explain our position on this matter. Sincerely,  [redacted]Consumer Affairs  3016427

We are sorry that we are unable to provide the warranty extension that Mr. [redacted] has requested.

I have been dealing with P [redacted] at [redacted] Harley Davidson. I do not have a issue with her. She is the manager that has been working with me, she has done every thing...

possible to appease me. I want a response from Harley Davidson directly. I have purchased 3 New harleys from [redacted] Harley I think I deserve a response from them. I will not drop my complaint until this issue is resolved.Thank You [redacted] Jr

Thank you for providing the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) for the subject motorcycle. Our records indicate that on August 23, Mr. [redacted] contacted our Customer Care Department and said that the dealership was buffing on the tank and the clear coat was damaged.  Our Representative explained...

that since this situation is not a warrantable,  Mr. [redacted] would need to contact the dealership that was buffing the tank and resolve the matter with that dealership.

Thank you for providing the Vehicle Identification Number for Mr. [redacted]'s Trike.  As the Trike has been modified with the non-Harley-Davidson tested mudflaps, which do not flex, we cannot offer any assistance to this repair.  While we understand the mudflaps were installed last year, it usually takes some time and mileage before a condition like this occurs.

Thank you for your inquiry.  I have reviewed Mr. [redacted]'s file and it appears that his motorcycle has been repaired and is ready for pickup.  The dealership's technicians have consulted with our experts and they all agree that the repair that was completed was the correct procedure. ...

As we have explained to Mr. [redacted], the purpose of the Limited Warranty is to correct manufacturing situations like this.  We do not have provisions to provide forgiveness of loans, nor any other forms of compensation. Our Customer Service Department did offer Mr. [redacted] a gesture of goodwill in an effort to alleviate his frustration.

Thank you for finally giving me the page references needed to properly care for my $20,000+ motorcycle that is not prepared for the elements from the factory. I am still awaiting an explanation of the process that was taken to determine Harley Davidson would not cover the corrosion on my motorcycle and the exact reason as to why it was determined to be somehow my fault. I have also asked for the original PDI Repair Order from the dealer that shows there was not an issue from the factory.  I have sent many emails askjng for this information with no luck. Thank you

Thank you for your inquiry.  As you may be aware, our seats are not waterproof, therefore, replacing the seat would not address the concern.Thank you for allowing us to explain our position in this matter.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I am very disappointed in Harley Davidson. My motorcycle has been in the shop 6 times for a radio situation before it was fixed 6 months later. Then it was in 3 times for a overheating issue. Then 3 times for a video issue. I also bought a Harley garage door opener that does not work but the parts catalog does not say it only works on certain models so I'm out $200.00. I have lost over 6 weeks with Harley Davidson having my motorcycle and you have put over 300 miles in testing driving it.  In the shop 12 times took a lot of my time and money away from work but I get after all this we will do nothing for you. Also the person who wrote the last response should be fired. They stated if your bike is under warranty. They didn't even do the research to know it is under warranty. What horrible customer service. I will tell others not to purchase a Harley.
Regards,
Robert [redacted]
