Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Regards, [redacted] This number that aamco gave me to call is a non working number I’d like them to contact me VIA phone if they will resolve it [redacted]
Absolutely impossible for my team to get to in the day window he allowedI wanted to drop everything and get to it but could not clear a liftWelcome to bring it back but transmission work sometimes takes a little longerWhen I tried to explain he only screamed over me on the phoneI had to goThe reason we couldn't get to it is because we have a great reputation and he are very busy at the moment giving our awesome customers great serviceI don't know where the disconnect is for this personSorry we weren't able to get to it
To whom it concerns, We regret any dissatisfaction [redacted] has experienced at our facilityWe would like to resolve his concernsHowever, we would like to make it clear we did not mislead or misdirect [redacted] in any wayI think its fair to say, in all likelihood [redacted] misconstrued information he obtained while shopping prices over the phoneFurthermore, after we repaired the flat tire, the technician had to lower the window in order to fold the mirror while backing out of the garageWe immediately called the customer to question if there was any previous issues with the windowI would also like to point out that the car [redacted] brought into us was in very poor mechanical condition, with multiple, obvious needed repairsWith all that said, we would like to show goodwill and offer to reimburse the funds to [redacted] Sincerely,.Aamco Turnersville
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved Regards, [redacted]
This is a response to Mr [redacted] complaint According to the Canton AAMCO, they replaced the pinion seal The truck was returned and there was leakage at the seal They felt that it may have been a defective seal and replaced it The manager, S [redacted] advised me that at that point [redacted] shared with them that the truck had been in an accident and apparently caused significant axle damage It is the opinion of the Canton AAMCO that it would be physically impossible to cause this type of damage by replacing the seal or tightening the pinion They have no offer to repair the problem that in their opinion is the customer's responsibility We appreciate the opportunity to address Mr [redacted] questions
When [redacted] came in he was greeted by me, I told him what was going on and he knew he signing permission to check over the car and he would be given a report of anything we find I even said again it was a courtesy check, cost nothing and he was under no oblationThe Techs have signed a statement that yes [redacted] was bad mouthing me every way and language possible but They said nothing of the sortThis is a statement They said, as they were supposed to, that we are sorry for any delay in delivering a carYes we let him know continually we were doing everything we could to help him, in spite of the rude and nasty behavior and languageHe was never spoken to or handled in any way that was not professional Unfortunately [redacted] has a number of recollection that simply are not true for he has even said that the tech told him that he did something wrong and apologizedThis is simply not the truthAs to the battery when we opened the hood and saw the condition of the battery put a tester on it , it failed, The terminal housing was so rotted away by acidI mentioned this to the customer and he said he new about it and was going to take care of itwhen he was given a list of the other basic safety items checked he declined and there was no further communication about themI did not offer to repair anything but the lines that we went out of the way to get parts for and then repair the one line got get him on the road as we promised Sat morningI called him when his car would not startthe battery was no goodthe only thing we did was turn the key to start the car to put ck and top off the transmission fluidthe car clicked and did not startwhen the key opened the circuit the battery which was no good and would not take a chargeWhen we tried to start the car the battery spiked and shorted out the ECUthe fact that car drove in means nothingthe battery was bad it shorted out the ECU because one terminal had rotted as per the pictures I sent you showing the excessive amount of acid on the one side of the batteryNothing was done wrong to the car and the customer was treated in a professional manor I did tell him if he did not stop cursing at me I would call the police as he was treated with respect and we had done nothing but try to help him since we came to the shop Martin A W***ps I am still willing to help himBut will not accept his disrespect and lack of truthI did not cause his problem, I did not treat him in anyway less than professional, I am not responsible in any way for his ECU as it was damaged by the battery
Matter has been resolved per a call to the Revdex.com from the consumer
Addressing [redacted] ***'s compaint: Inspection of the vehicle determined Overdrive button on shifter and bulb for Overdrive light in dash needed replacement and parts had to be ordered We did not say that we had to keep the vehicle Customer could have brought it back when parts came in It is incorrect that we had to "touch" the area in question The Overdrive button simply comes out of the shifter which does not require moving and/or touching the gear indicator While it may be true that the customer did not "make a scene" on day of original pick up of his vehicle, that is not the case on the following day when he confronted the manager Regarding the indicator not being noted on the ticket based on our inspection, we were not asked about the indicator We were asked about an issue with fluid levels and replacement of an overdrive button as the customer states All this being said, we do not believe that we caused the damage to the indicator However, in an effort of customer satisfaction, we will agree to facilitate repairs to the indicator at no charge The customer simply needs to contact us, arrange to drop his vehicle off and we will perform the repair in a reasonable period of time
We have acknowledged the customer's complaint Though we differ on the chain of events as described we were, and still are, willing to facilitate the repairs to the customer's vehicle at NO CHARGE This offer remains in effect and we are sorry it is not satisfactory to the customer

My truck was in an accident in so that has nothing to do with them replacing the pinion seal twice and torquing it down to tight and crushing the crush collar witch ruining my pinion bearingsAnd also what about them breaking a gas line on my Chevy Tahoe that I also had in their shop and then wanting to charge me dollars to fix itThe replaced the tank and put it back together and sent it home to me and as soon as I pulled in my driveway it was leaking fuel all over my driveway I went to other shops and they all told me that for my pinion bearings to go out that quickly was because of improperly torquing the pinion nut
On 4/25/Mr*** our return customer had his Buick Lesabre towed in to us for an intermittent no start problemWe found that his radiator, thermostat and the fuel filter was in disrepair and we had to start there to get the vehicle in proper running mode to diagnose the issue he
brought it in forThe customer agreed and we did that workThe vehicle ran fine and there was no need for any other recommended work. Mr*** called us two days later on 5/2/and said that it cut off againwe towed him in and no expense to Mr***We double checked our work to make sure nothing failedWe had him pick up his car because we could not get it to duplicate the customer's concernMr*** called us again on 5/6/and said it cut off on him and wouldn't start againI then offered to tow him in, again at no expense to Mr***We checked his entire vehicle over and did a much deeper inspection, one that a customer is normally obligated to pay an hour of labor for, however we did this at no charge Mr***We then recommended a fuel pumpThis was the only thing we saw that was in fair to bad condition, that it could possibly be causing his issueWe left it up to him to decide on wether to do that repairAt that time Mr*** authorized for that repairThe vehicle seamed to run fine so we delivered it to himOn May 17, Mr*** called and said it wouldn't start againWe towed hisvehicle in, once again at no charge to the customerWe then replaced the fuel pressure regulator, ignition control module along with two hours worth of labor to rewire the wiring to the full pump at no additional charge to the customerIt started fine, and we drove it for a week without it cutting off, so we once again delivered it to Mr ***.The customer has called and said it is cutting off againMy manager spoke with Mr *** and let him know we'd tow in for free and check out at no additional charge to Mr ***We are waiting for Mr *** to let us know when it's available to be towed at his convenience, that was 06/10/16.As of this time Mr *** authorized another repair shop to fix his vehicle for $300.00, we have offered to refund Mr *** $on in store credit along with other options. Please let me know if you need anything further.*** *** (Owner)
Well, this starts back a year ago when ** brought his *** truck to us for repairThe truck was in very poor shape mechanicallyI needed front differential, rear differential, transmission and transfer caseAfter repairing these items ** had a friend or relative finance the work through one of
our sources and pick up his truckA month or so later he brought it back for more repairs, this time it was suspension parts and other stuffHe hemmed and hawed about the price, but I was giving him a great deal since he had done work with us before so he authorized us to do the work and he offered to pay $a week or a month, I don't remember the truck had since long ago been abandonedHe tried on several occasions to have me release the truck to him without paying promising me to make paymentsAs we can see this was to defraud me since the truck has been in my passion for monthsIt is posted in plain sight and ** is fully aware that we charge $a day to store abandoned vehicles or vehicles that have not been picked up hours after work has been completedHe has not paid a single red cent to the repairs and a complaint to AAA is his way of trying to get something for nothingHe went to the AG's office also and they sided with me. Now he comes to me offering me $to pick it up and I refusedHis bill including the work performed and storage is about $12,000. He can make me another offerHe will be receiving a demand for payment letter any day so we can apply for title and sell it at auction

Please be advused that the operator of the Canton AAMCO franchise maintains that his center was not responsible for damage to *** *** Dodge Ram or his Tahoe In the case of the Dodge Ram, he cites the fact that the vehicle suffered damage as a result of a collision and that the c;laim that an ovelry tightened pinion seal caused damage to bearings is not a reasonable claim In the case of the Chevy Tahoe, he mainatains that the vehicle was years old at the time of the repair and that the damage found to the gas lines was due solely to age and wear and not to anything done by the facility The owner of this AAMCO franchise has agreed to reach out to *** *** directly in an effort to come to a settlement of his dispute with the franchise and trusts that he and *** *** can arrive at an amicable resolution Please have *** *** conta** *** *** directly at the AAMCO center

Revdex.com:I do wish to accept this offer; however I would like to clarify that I hope they are offering me the full refund I requested, as when I spoke with their corporate representative over the phone he only offered me the refund for my tire which was unacceptableHowever if they are in fact posting full reimbursement for my tire and window then yes, I will accept this resolution. Please advise if there is a way to clarify this so we can resolve. Regards,*** ***

In response to complaint #*** we would to be clear that we value all of our customers and hold customer satisfaction in the highest regardWe regret *** *** unsatisfactory experience and hope to reconcile with a solution that is mutually acceptedAny confusion with billing was solely and
directly the result of the poor performance of the warranty company handling the claimWe are at the mercy of the warranty company and can only move at the pace set by themFurthermore, the warranty company in question here was only willing to pay for a small portion of the actual cost of repairs, making it very difficult for us to complete the work covering parts and laborHowever we did perform the work at a significant discount , still delivering quality and satisfaction to *** ***The vehicle we repaired for *** *** was not in the best shape aesthetically, with both driver and passenger door handles broken or partially broken before we received the vehicleConsidering the vehicle was years old, and used commercially, one can only imagine, in all fairness, that the vehicle was far from flawless, and in fact did suffer from an assortment of needed repairs; including door handlesKeep in mind this vehicle was brought into our facility for a transmission repair and nor bodyworkThere was no reason for us to assume *** *** wanted the door handles repaired or any reason for us to offer repairing themHowever, We did repair the door handle in question for nothing more than good willIm not sure what the refund in the amount of requested by *** *** represents but we would split it with her in the amount of to demonstrate our commitment to customer satisfaction and good will.Sincerely,Aamco Turnersville
