Stay away from them. I bought a 500 hp motor - after a extra 3000 well I took it to my local motor builder who's being building motors for over 40 plus years. His spec sheet is a lie. Motor never balanced, no comp cam, no valve job, bore was over by .0500 so tons of piston slap and oil blow by. He said he would set it up to ship it back. entertained it but never called me back. Why would I send back a motor they lied about what they put into it? They won't refund BEWARE
Review: Purchased a [redacted] From them 3 Years ago now (Jan 10, 2011), engine was supposed to be freshly rebuilt with all new [redacted] in it. Received Engine which sat for 2 years in shipping crate while car was built. Upon unpackaging and prepping for a break-in on [redacted], found that the engine was used and had many used and damaged parts in it. Contacted the owner and explained the situation, (Aug 1, 2013) they agreed that the engine was damaged (AUG 17, 2013) and agreed to work with me. They agreed to purchase a fuel-Injection system called "FAST" (Purchase Price $2600 USD) for me in exchange for my extra charges to rebuild the engine myself (Sept 18, 2013) . They further notified me that they needed me to send them additional funds to offset the cost difference for the fuel injection system versus engine rebuilt costs. I agreed and sent Money Order for $900 US, which I couriered to them immediately.
I messaged them many times trying to find out when I would receive the FAST system, they responded that they would get it to me. Waited Months and nothing. Contacted several times, finally got Owner "[redacted]" ([redacted]) who replied (January 20, 2014) he had been away and would take care of it for me right away as I was threatening legal action. Still nothing has been delivered to me and I am getting no response to my emails and phone calls.Desired Settlement: I want them to follow through on purchasing and sending my FAST fuel Injection system or refund me the Cost of $2600 USD which included the extra $900 I had sent them separately.
I have many emails saved showing history and agreements, I have copies of the $900 Money Order and Courier receipt.

Review: Hi there,I bought two engines at AR Racing in [redacted].The first engine I've sold and the second I keep to myself. After I sold the first I've found on the second motor some damage.(both cylinder heads broken, damaged piston)I then turned me to [redacted] and told him everything. He realized that the damage during assembly are done with him in the shop and sent me spare parts, which was in July. The cost for my work, he wanted to replace me, this is still not done. Also I should have replaced the purchase prices for the new gaskets and the necessary accessories, this is not also done.In addition, he has built on all parts used, the designators a recognition no longer is removed so that possible.Today I was the first buyer of the motor and called me some pictures of damage which he has cleverly found today. He wants him I will refund the purchase price and the motor take that back. The camshaft is an old rusted, the pistons have damage to valves and are old and needed a push rod guide is broken, the hydro tappets are already used. The engine I was sold as new and unused. This is not fair and I am very sad about someone selling such goods.I buy a lot in the US, but something like this is never happened to me.I have reserved to myself axles, engines, gear cardan shafts and much more to build, always was all good.I hope you can help me.Best regards[redacted]Desired Settlement: Total refund plus reimbursement of our costs.Like customs, shipping, handling and labor.

Your compliant for case [redacted] on engine purchases I would
like to take the time to help[redacted].
The first engine
purchased about 3 years ago appears to have been resold to another party. At
this point cannot refund on a engine sold to another party then used for period
of3 years, However I can assist in the
complaint. The third party buyer appears to state that used
parts were used. This is not the case. To assist you
against that claim I had the NEW parts invoices pulled and
they can be obtained by calling 1-800-251-0331
ext 3033.They will provide you with the entire invoice of band
new parts used in the engine to show your
buyer as proof of new parts, Further even though all parts
are new the nature of use of these parts are not
under any warranty by myself for the manufacture that is why
the product is sold as is as stated in the sale
this is solely for you to show your buyer new parts are
used.
In regards to the second engine .The purchase date about 2
years ago again this engine is built all new parts
but again sold without any warranty expressed .This brings
up a concern we have even though the engine
was sold as is because you where not happy and showed
pictures of a defect pan we replaced that parr at n()
cost to you Associated with that was a cost of out of pocket
expenses of2400.oo usd plus global express
ship cost of480.00usd and customs cost of400.00usdall paid
by A RRacing. Also included with that
shipment was a return label us postal service cost 220.00
usd. This procedure is not normal and any other
business would have demanded a return for inspection first
The parts where received by you within few
days and all we asked was for you to return the defect, The
detect part never was returned. When we tried to
contact you we got no answer or replies until this complaint
5 months later. Because there was no return I
did not have anything to obtain a credit by the manufacture
which I arranged under special circumstances
a onetime courtesy for my business. This is not how we will
do business going forward with you.
At this time your requesting more money and r have no
assurance that even a attempt of a return will
happen.
To be clear we cannot refund the first engine purchase. The
second engine purchase if this has not been used
or modified in anyway we will accept a return under the
following conditions.
I engine must be same was as delivered not used or modified
all parts there.
2. The other parts sent to you at no charge must be returned
also 3 you the shipper are responsible for the entire shipment cost and
arrangement and any and all fees that need to make that happen.
If you meet those
conditions a refund will be made less 20% restock fee after ALL parts are
received back
in good condition and unused. And inspected by A R Racing
No refund wil1 be made if ANY OF THE ENGINE has been used
installed or modified.
Nothing I have stated varies from the industries normal way
of doing business. The refund offer actually is
very generous on our companies part and is not a normal part
of any business operation when selling goods
as is. The value in the goods were sold at a 50% discount to
the buyer already there are risk in hi
performance engine sales [hat cannot be foreseen or
predicted

Response:
I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
What has [redacted] written there is not true!
According to my [redacted] account I paid the first motor on 30/10/2013.
The second motor I paid on 02/27/2014.
THESE ARE NOT 3 YEARS!
in the first motor of october 2013 used parts have been build in, so I can prove with pictures. This was found by the person who has purchased the motor from me.
The engine of february 2014 is built with new parts that I know, because by a false assemble in the workshop of AR Racing both cylinder heads were damaged, so I had to open the engine.
The parts I got from mr lim sent.
He has not paid me the customs fees, which I made myself.
A payment I received not from Him, so I can prove my account with Paypal.
The defective parts I have lying in the garage, because I only send out this when I got replaced my expense, which is discussed with Herrm lim so I can prove this traffic with the e-mail.
again it all understand the motor of february 2014 is now installed and running in my car for a week.
We are talking about the engine from october-2013.
What can we do now?
It is not OK that someone of "professional" motors builds, sent such things just because they go to Germany.
I sold the motor for 13,000 euros.
Now, the buyer would like to return because of the old and used parts in the motor.
I [redacted] some screenshots, where you can see some picures and emails.
