Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved. If the company does not perform as promised I can get back to you at: [redacted]
Regards,
[redacted]
To Whom It May Concern,
We are in receipt of Ms. [redacted] complaint and will address her situation below.Yes, Ms. [redacted] opted a program which consisted of 4 matches. We consider this a trial program. We matched Ms. [redacted] with gentlemen who were most mutually compatible with...
her, according to their profile information and compatibility indicators. We will ONLY match our clients with those who show to be compatible, as we strive for success. We provided all 4 purchased matches to Ms. [redacted] and her program is now complete. The agreement which Ms. [redacted] signed states that the fee she agreed to is non-refundable and our services have been fulfilled. Typically, we think it is best for individuals to select a program with more referrals, as this will increase their chance for success. As we mentioned, Ms. [redacted] chose a trial program. We informed her that her program has reached completion. If she would like to receive more referrals, we would be happy to re-enroll her for additional services. If she does not wish to do so, we wish her well and we hope she is able to find what she is looking for.Regards,Virginia Singles
To Whom It May Concern, We are in receipt of Ms. [redacted] complaint. Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. Please know that we have been providing our services to Ms. [redacted] thus far exactly as they were described to her both verbally during her interview and according to the...
paperwork she signed and received copies of. Since Ms. [redacted] became a client on 1/14, we have found 4 potential matches for her thus far. The first match we found on 1/23 (which was less than 8 weeks) was cancelled, as we ultimately decided it might not be the best match. We are very selective of whom we will match our clients with. We then found someone new for Ms. [redacted] on 3/23. Unfortunately, this match did not materialize into a date. We also found gentlemen on 5/15 and 6/27. These matches did not become dates either. Therefore, we completely understand and sympathize with Ms. [redacted]. Although we always want the very best outcomes for the matches we put together, we are unable to control our client’s behavior and/or what will happen between two clients. Please note that we explain to our clients (and it is in our paperwork we provide to our clients upon joining) that we will search on their behalf on a monthly basis for matches, however, we are unable to predict the time frame and frequency of referrals/matches. It all depends on various factors – availability, preferences and most importantly, compatibility. We have to ensure that we ONLY match our clients with those who show to be most mutually compatible with them, according to their profile information and 21 compatibility indicators. Also, we explain that not all of our clients will agree to meet their matches nor will our clients like everyone they meet. We try to keep realistic expectations for our clients. We DO hope for the best with each and every match we put together. Our only goal is success for our clients. We did not have a recent message from Ms. [redacted], so we apologize that we apparently missed her attempt for contact. We will be reaching out to her. We only wish to continue working with her to try and help her find someone special. Thank you, Virginia Singles

I tried to sign up at [redacted] but somehow ended up at the Virginia Singles site instead. I filled out the questionnaire at that site and the next morning was called by one of their representatives who scheduled me for a lengthy meeting with one of their "Gatekeepers" (i.e., salesmen).
The upshot of this meeting was that Virginia Singles promised to email me over a period of time the names and telephone numbers of eight compatible women who lived in my area at a cost for 6,995 dollars, or approximately $875 per contact. For another 3,000 dollars you could get additional information on your date before meeting them. In no case, however, would Virginia Singles give supply you with a photograph of your prospective date.
The gatekeeper tried to rush me into a commitment and when I balked at the price and asked for time to think about it, her friendly demeanor instantly changed. She tried to pressure me to write her a check immediately, and when I refused she accused me of telling her I was ready to start dating (which I am) but was now backing out. In addition, she accused me of being vain and putting too much emphasis on looks. In short, she turned on me the moment she saw she was losing a sale.
The long and the short of it is, do you want to pay strangers huge sums of money to set you up on blind dates with no guarantee, short of verbal promises, that the people they set you up with will meet your expectations? Some people might be willing to take that risk and some might get lucky and find their perfect mate. I was not willing to take the risk--not at that price anyway.
By the way, before disclosing the cost, the gatekeeper insisted on getting my social security number and copies of my drivers license and two other forms of identification--in my case, credit cards--for the purpose of doing a background check on me. Needless to say, this opens the door for I.D. theft. I recommend not giving them any I.D. until you ready to sign the contract with them--and maybe not even then.
To Whom It May Concern,We are in receipt of Ms. [redacted]’s complaint. We will
address some important information regarding our process and the details Ms.
[redacted] mentioned.Ms. [redacted] has been an active client with us for 8 weeks
now. When we activated Ms. [redacted]’s account, we did...
explain that it can take
up to 8 weeks to receive the first match. Please note that we have presented a
couple gentlemen to her thus far whom were compatible with her, according to
their profile information. However, Ms. [redacted] declined these matches, which
she has the right to do. Nonetheless, the work has been performed on her behalf
and we are attempting to provide her with matches. Also, our Regulations (which Ms. [redacted] received a copy
of upon joining our services and agreed that she reviewed in her Virginia
Singles agreement) state that we match our clients with those who are most
mutually compatible with them and we use our best judgment when providing
referrals. We also go on to explain in these Regulations that our clients will
not like everyone they meet and that not all clients will agree to meet their
matches. We also state that we cannot predict the time frame and frequency of
referrals. Unlike a dating service, we are trying to find our clients the RIGHT
types of singles and will not match our clients with just anyone. We do,
however, try to give our clients every opportunity to meet the right person. If
there are some preferences that are slightly off, we will still contact our
clients in an attempt to match them. It can be good for people to think outside
the box sometimes. Our clients will never know if that person might be “the
one” for them. For all that, our clients can rest assured that we will only match
them with those who are compatible with them, according to their profiles. We
have seasoned matchmakers who have been in this industry for a long time and
have helped many people find successful relationships. It is important for our
clients to have faith in our matchmakers. Please know that we guarantee that we will provide the
amount of referrals purchased. On the other hand, we do not make any guarantees
in our agreement that we will definitely find our clients their special someone.
We explain to our clients that we are providing a service to singles in search
of committed relationships. We are an added avenue to help individuals in an
attempt find love. This is our goal for all of our clients and we work hard
every day on behalf of our clients – Ms. [redacted] included. Also, Ms. [redacted] signed an agreement which states that
the fee she paid is non-refundable. Therefore, a refund will not be an option.
However, we would like to speak with her and discuss her issues with the
service. We have been working very hard on Ms. [redacted]’s behalf thus far and
only want to continue working for her. We have clients who wait longer for
matches, have more strict criteria, etc. and they are patient with the process.
Those clients appreciate that we are only matching them with compatible
individuals. Finding suitable, compatible matches takes time and research. Just
like in the dating world, finding a great match can take time and doesn’t
always happen right away. Patience, enthusiasm and a positive outlook are the
keys in our program. Ms. [redacted] is a smart, beautiful, successful lady who
deserves a wonderful man. We would like the opportunity to continue working
with her. We just ask that she be patient with the process. We ask that Ms. [redacted] contacts us back, so we can
discuss everything directly with her. We would like to put this behind us and
move forward in a positive direction with her program.Thank you,We received an e-mail from Ms. [redacted] on 7/7, expressing
her dissatisfaction. We called her back the following day, 7/8, and left her a
message. We also sent her an e-mail asking for her to return our call, so that
we may discuss her program. We have now received this complaint.Ms. [redacted] signed a client obligation form which states
that she agrees to discuss any concerns about her program directly with our
staff prior to contacting any outside agencies. She agrees to speak with Client
Services in attempt to reach a resolution. If a resolution has not been met,
she agrees to speak with a senior member of our Client Resolution team.

Date: 6/13/17 Re: [redacted] Case #: [redacted] To Whom It May Concern, We are disheartened to receive this complaint from Ms. [redacted]. Ms. [redacted] placed her account on hold in October 2016, as she notified us she met someone on her own. We have been patiently waiting to hear from her...
again. She has not e-mailed or called us and now we have received this complaint. Ms. [redacted] should not have an issue logging into her account and we would have been happy to assist her in doing so if she had contacted us. We have matched Ms. [redacted] with men thus far who have shown to be compatible with her in the hopes of her finding a companion. Unfortunately, her matches did not work out for one reason or another. Although Mr. [redacted] mentions receiving 2 matches, we have found more potential matches on her behalf, but we were unable to put the matches together, as the matches were declined. However, we want Ms. [redacted] to understand that we have been working very hard on her behalf behind the scenes. Finding compatible, suitable matches can take much time and research. Some people may meet someone right away, but for others it can take time. In addition to signing a non-refundable agreement, Ms. [redacted] also signed a client obligation form which states she agrees she must meet all of her purchased matches in order to give our company the full opportunity to meet her expectations of the program. She also agrees not to contact any third-party agencies prior to trying to resolve any issues directly with our staff. We only wish to resume Ms. [redacted]’s program. We ask that she remain optimistic and patient with the process. She never knows when she may end up meeting someone through us. Our goal is to help her find success. Regards, Virginia Singles
To Whom It May Concern,As we previously stated, we
reached out to Ms. [redacted] immediately upon receiving her complaint. We left her
a message and did not hear back from her. We have an amicable resolution for
this matter and we would like to discuss this with her. We left her...
another
message on Friday, 10/21. We ask her to contact us back as soon as possible. We
look forward to speaking with her.Thank you for your time.
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I did reach out to Virginia Singles on the morning of 7/7 with the following message:
To the Client Service Managers of Virginia Singles-
It is with deep dissatisfaction that I am emailing today. I came to Virginia Singles on May 12, 2015 (8 weeks ago) for information regarding the programs that your company offers and was promised, on many occasions, that I was the “ideal client” and I was “what every one of our gentlemen are looking for in a potential partner”. I was also told things like “ we have hundreds of men that meet all of your requirements” and “you will be matched very quickly”. I feel that I was deceived by the lady ([redacted]) that I worked with in that she was telling me everything that I wanted to hear when she realized I was really not that interested in moving forward with the program. She kept telling me repeatedly that “I would regret it if I didn’t go with the program because they (Virginia Singles) had the most vast network of gentlemen in the area”. I was skeptical and she promised me repeatedly that I was “guaranteed to find the one with Virginia Singles”.
I reluctantly filled out the paperwork after being fed all of the “promises” that I would be introduced to my prince-charming within a few short days or “maybe a week or two since the Memorial Day Holiday was approaching”. Since that day I have only received three phone calls regarding matches.
-The first (two weeks into the program) being about a man that did not fit the religious or ethnic background that I had expressed were very important, and he was in the top end of my age range. I again expressed my desire to be matched to a “Tall, Dark, and Handsome” individual that was closer to my age range, was a [redacted], and was Caucasian (as I expressed both in my paperwork as well as my profile).
-The second call (about a week after the first) was about a man that was much older than I was and was a strict vegan. I felt slighted by this conversation since it seemed that the lady I was speaking to hadn’t read the profile notes before calling me. I am not a vegan, and do not wish to be as strict as this individual was about his life choices.
-The third and final phone call I received was two weeks ago about an individual who again, was at the top end of my age range and did not meet the job requirements I needed to ensure that I was able to spend time with my children, and was religious but not [redacted]. I again expressed my concerns as well as the concern that his children were older and the response I received from VS was that he was “unavailable” (via email).
I have had no communication from VS since the 17th of June, nearly three weeks ago. At this point I wish to dissolve my contract with Virginia Singles and be refunded my program fee of $5,995.00. I have been very patient with this process and feel like I was tricked into becoming a part of company that has not delivered on their end of the contract. If there has been this much difficulty in finding a close first-match, I have very little faith that there will be subsequent matches that will be more fitting. I would like a response to this email within 24 hours and will be reporting my situation to the Revdex.com by noon tomorrow (7/8/2015) following the outcome of said response.
Regards,
[redacted]
This message was sent at 11:01 am and I requested to hear from the business within 24 hours (one business day) as is highlighted and underlined in the above message. Virginia Singles hours are 12-8pm and my complaint was not acknowledged within that time frame. At 1:56 pm (two hours into the next business day) when I still hadn't heard from a representative I filed a complaint with the Revdex.com. I did not receive a phone call acknowledging my complaint until 4:02pm 7/8 and was asked to return the call by Samantha. I work, and have two small children so I returned the phone call at 7:29 am on 7/9, leaving a message. I did not receive a call back, so I called again that afternoon at 4:20pm. When the phone was answered, I was asked who I was and who I needed to speak to and I am almost certain that the person I needed to speak to answered my call and took a message telling me that I would receive a return call that evening. I did not receive a call, again.
This morning, 7/10, I again emailed Virginia Singles through my client portal letting them know I had attempted to call them twice and to please call me between the hours of 12 and 6pm today and have yet to receive a call back. I did as the contract indicated and reached out to Virginia Singles before going to another entity to assist in resolving the problem. I have received no return correspondence and am insulted that Samantha answered the phone yesterday afternoon and told me that no one was available to speak with me at the time. I am still seeking a resolution to this issue and believe that a refund is warranted as I have followed the outline of my contract with Virginia Singles and they haven't found the time to respond, or to have a Client Supervisor contact me. I appreciate that finding the right person can take time, but as a paying customer, I expect to get what I'm looking for not have to "think outside the box" for something that I know will not mesh with my life-style or beliefs. So, yes, I declined the three individuals because I was promised matches in all facets of compatibility not a "just try it and maybe it will work out" whim. I am legally separated as I've tried that route once...I came to Virginia Singles because they promised me that there would be a return on that investment. Now they won't even contact me back.
I have included screen shots of the time stamps of the incoming and outgoing call times to VS with the date and duration of the calls. I have also included a screen shot of the email that I sent them at 9:20am this morning (all are referenced above). I would appreciate them reaching out to me directly so that we can come to a resolution.
Thanks you,
[redacted]
To Whom It May Concern:We have received Ms. [redacted]’s
complaint and would like to address some important information. Please note that we will only match
our clients with those who are most mutually compatible with them, according to
their profile information. Some clients receive matches...
frequently while others
may wait some time in between referrals. It all depends on various factors – the
#1 factor being compatibility. We will not provide a match just for the sake of
doing so. This is what separates us from a typical dating service. We are an
elite matchmaking firm who specializes in finding lasting relationships for our
clients. We have our clients’ best interests at heart and only strive for the
success of each and every one of our clients.Yes, Ms. [redacted] joined Virginia
Singles in July, 2014. Ms. [redacted] purchased 8 matches and 6 months of hold time
if needed. We had several matches for Ms. [redacted], but she did not connect with
them all for one reason or another. Match #1– Ms. [redacted] spoke with her match over the phone for a period of time and decided he was not for her. At some point during the conversation, Ms. [redacted] told the gentleman that she was in a relationship. Ms. [redacted] also seems to be concerned that this man allegedly had 6 matches prior to her, but this was not the case. Also, we are not at liberty to discuss other clients or their programs, due to privacy reasons. Everyone has their own experience and some people have to meet a few matches in order to find someone they connect with. It is a process for everyone. We continued our search on behalf of Ms. [redacted]. We spoke or emailed Ms. [redacted] on several occasions to keep her updated on our searches and possible matches. Match #2 – Ms. [redacted] declined meeting this man after she first stated she would “give him a chance”. We spoke with her prior to setting up the match and she agreed to meet this gentleman. However, Ms. [redacted] did not end up meeting him and responded in her feedback that he was “too old” for her. Match # 3 –When they spoke over the phone, this man mentioned he was in a relationship at that time, which we were unaware of. He did not communicate this to us before the match was set up. We ask our clients to keep us updated on their statuses, but not everyone remembers to do so. We understand how that can be embarrassing for Ms. [redacted] and we do sympathize with her.[redacted]Please note that the gentlemen that Ms. [redacted]
spoke of in her letter were two different gentlemen. They were both named [redacted],
but they had different professions and are different people. There
were also two other gentlemen we presented to Ms. [redacted] during the course of
her program, but unfortunately, she declined meeting them.As
you can see, we have been working hard on behalf of Ms. [redacted]. Although our
matchmakers have worked hard performing match searches, setting up matches,
etc, we have “bonused back” all of Ms. [redacted]’s previous matches. We hope to
prove to Ms. [redacted] that we have her best interest at heart. We
would like to mention that Ms. [redacted] received a copy of our Regulations pamphlet which states the
following important information under paragraphs #3 and #4: 3. ReferralsCompatibility
is very subjective and we will send you referrals we deem, in our sole and
absolute discretion as “likely most mutually compatible” as indicated in your
singles’ data. The final determination to meet a referral is yours and yours
alone. You understand and agree that we will supply you referrals on an
as-available basis. Because we try to send compatible referrals, you understand
and agree that there is no way for us to predict the frequency and time frame
of each referral. However, we will search on your behalf on a monthly basis,
but we will only match you with others that we feel you are compatible with.
You further understand that no two people are generally perfectly compatible
and agree that we will use our best judgment in providing referrals that most
nearly match your requirements.4.
Mutual AgreementYou understand and agree that simply because you choose to
meet with a single that we have referred to you does not mean that such single
will agree to meet with you. It is impossible for us to guarantee that any
single to whom you have been referred will agree to meet with you. You
understand that you will not like everyone you meet and that some of those you
meet may not like you.[redacted]As
stated above, we explain to our clients that we are matching them with those
who are most mutually compatible, we cannot predict the time frame and/or
frequency of referrals and our clients will not agree to meet everyone they are
matched with. Ms. [redacted] also signed a client obligation form which states the
following:1. Always maintain a
positive and enthusiastic attitude.2. Treat all clients and
staff with respect and kindness.3. You MUST meet everyone
face-to-face. No exceptions.4. Provide feedback with
every referral given.5. Virginia Singles will
match you with people they feel you are compatible with while keeping your
preferences in mind.6. Dating is a numbers
game which requires that you meet many people, and that you naturally will not
love every person you meet.7. All concerns with your
program MUST be discussed with Virginia Singles staff and not other clients.[redacted]Ms. [redacted] agreed that she understands
the ONLY way she can be successful with her program is to fulfill ALL
obligations and expectations listed above. Per this signed form, Ms. [redacted] also
agreed to meet all of her purchased matches so that
she may give Virginia Singles the full opportunity to meet her expectations of
the program. She also agrees not to go to any outside agency before trying to
resolve any issues directly with our staff. Our
Director of Client Relations has reached out to Ms. [redacted]. She and Ms. [redacted]
have been unable to connect as of yet, but we hope for them to speak soon. We
want nothing more than to discuss Ms. [redacted]’s concerns with her and, hopefully,
move forward with her program in a positive direction. Nothing would make us
happier.We
are very sorry that Ms. [redacted] feels she has lost her values. We would not want
any of our clients to feel this way. Since a refund is not an option due to her
signed non-refundable contract, we do suggest that she continues. We sincerely
hope to have this resolved as soon as possible. Thank you. Regards,
To Whom It May Concern,We are in
receipt of Ms. [redacted] complaint and will address her situation below.Ms. [redacted] joined
our services on 1/11/16. She had an extensive interview in our office with a
Relationship Specialist. They discussed Ms. [redacted] past relationships, what she
is...
looking for in a partner, etc. We presented her with various package options
for our different programs. Ms. [redacted] decided to purchase a program which consists
of 3 referrals/matches. For this fee, she not only receives matches, but also
receives services such as the creation of her profile, national background
check, uploading of photos, uploading of paperwork from interview, communication
(e-mails, phone calls), maintenance of her account, recruiting men on her
behalf, conducting searches for matches on her behalf by our matchmakers, etc.
There are various staff members who work on Ms. [redacted] behalf on a daily basis.
There is much work and time that goes into each individual client's program. Ms. [redacted] was
a client for less than a month when she first disputed her credit card charge.
She claimed that she felt our services are “not as described” or “defective”.
We responded to the case and showed that our services have been provided as
they were described and the case was closed in our favor.Ms. [redacted]
agreed to continue her program and we found a first match on 3/14. As Ms. [redacted]
mentioned, they spoke and the gentleman did not follow through with calling her
back. Therefore, we “comped” or “bonused back” this match for Ms. [redacted]. This
means she will receive an additional match at no additional charge to her.
Please note that this man has some college, but he is self-employed and very
successful. Most importantly, Ms. [redacted] and this man showed to be very compatible
with one another, according to the compatibility indicators in their profiles.
Compatibility is what makes a relationship last. The second
man we matched Ms. [redacted] with also showed to be very compatible with her. Yes, we
explain to our clients that we expect them to do “dutch” on their dates. No one
is responsible for picking up the entire bill and everyone should be prepared
to pay for what they order. However, some people may choose to pay the bill –
but some may not. It is important for everyone to remember that no one is
obligated.The third
man we matched Ms. [redacted] with is college educated, a Chief Engineer and is very
successful. He may like to fish and do outdoor activities, but this does not
mean he was not shown to be compatible with Ms. [redacted]. They share other common
interests, according to their profiles. In addition to signing
a non-refundable agreement, Ms.
[redacted] also signed a client obligation form which states that she understands the
ONLY way she can be successful with her program is to fulfill ALL obligations
and expectations listed on the form. Also, per this signed form, Ms. [redacted] agreed that she is
required to meet all of her purchased matches, so that she may give Virginia Singles
the full opportunity to meet her expectations of the program. She also agrees
not to go to any outside agency before trying to resolve any issues directly
with our staff. This includes contacting her credit card company and the RevDex.com. We would like for Ms. [redacted] to understand that by her contacting
the Revdex.com, this does not mean that she will receive a refund. We ask for her to
please review the terms of her signed agreement. Our records show that
we have communicated with Ms. [redacted] throughout the course of her program thus
far. We have spoken with her whenever she has contacted us and/or we have
returned her calls. Our clients must understand that we tend to the needs of
MANY clients on a daily basis and it may take 24-48 hours for us to return a
call.As you can see above,
we have provided Ms. [redacted] with our services promised thus far. We provide our
clients with various documents upon joining our services which explain
everything they can expect during their program, while trying to keep their
expectations realistic. We would like to continue working with Ms. [redacted]. We
sincerely want her to be successful in our program.
To Whom It May Concern,As we previously stated, we
reached out to Ms. [redacted] immediately upon receiving her complaint. We left her
a message and did not hear back from her. We have an amicable resolution for
this matter and we would like to discuss this with her. We left her another
message on...
Friday, 10/21. We ask her to contact us back as soon as possible. We
look forward to speaking with her.Thank you for your time.
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I did reach out to Virginia Singles on the morning of 7/7 with the following message: To the Client Service Managers of Virginia Singles- It is with deep dissatisfaction that I am emailing today. I again expressed my desire to be matched to a “Tall, Dark, and Handsome” individual that was closer to my age range, was a [redacted], and was Caucasian (as I expressed both in my paperwork as well as my profile).-The second call (about a week after the first) was about a man that was much older than I was and was a strict vegan. I felt slighted by this conversation since it seemed that the lady I was speaking to hadn’t read the profile notes before calling me. I am not a vegan, and do not wish to be as strict as this individual was about his life choices.-The third and final phone call I received was two weeks ago about an individual who again, was at the top end of my age range and did not meet the job requirements I needed to ensure that I was able to spend time with my children, and was religious but not [redacted].
Regards,
[redacted] This message was sent at 11:01 am and I requested to hear from the business within 24 hours (one business day) as is highlighted and underlined in the above message. Thanks you, [redacted]
Review: I joined this dating service on 02/28/2014, I was told there are 800+ singles in Virginia. The consultant knew of two or three she could not wait to introduce me to. My first match took over 4 weeks. The agency called me 'so excited' because he was a nice man and they just talked to him. I was told he would call in 24-48 hours, he did not. The agency never told me why, just offered to send another match. I question how many men they had that fit my request. I was told I should change my age range. I explained I did not want to do that because I was told they had 'lots of single' in my age, race and financial group. I question that now because its been over 8 weeks and no match. They sent me a second match, without screening him, because he is a co-worker. Also, he just moved here from [redacted] and had not updated his profile. 'The agency knew very little of him' (his words). I have requested a refund in writing three time (before the 2nd match) I was told no. They have not filled their end of the contract and they are not entitled to the $2,250.Desired Settlement: I want a refund of the $2250, I have requested this from them since March. The last conversation I had with the office I was told a [redacted] would call me to discuss, they never did. I believe this company does a bait and switch then they delay having contact with you to give the appears they are 'working for you'.

Response:
To Whom It May Concern,
First, we would like to apologize for the delay in our response. We have been attempting every possible way to resolve [redacted] issues directly with her.
However, [redacted] does not appear to be willing to work with us and she has not returned our most recent phone call. Please note that we have provided everything promised thus far to [redacted], per her signed contract and the Rules and Regulations which were provided to her upon joining.
[redacted] purchased a program which consists of 6 matches/referrals, including the services that are involved in the process of providing these referrals. [redacted]contract dearly states that her fee is non-refundable. We would like to work with [redacted] and provide our services as contracted.
[redacted]joined our services on 2/28/14. She had an extensive interview rn our office with a Relationship Specialist. They discussed [redacted]'s past relationships, what she is looking for in a partner, etc. We presented her with various package options for our different programs. For her fee, she not only receives matches, but also receives services such as the creation of her profile, background check, communication {e-mails.phonecalls).maintenance of her account, recruiting men 0(1 her behalf, conducting searches for matches on her behalf by our matchmakers, etc. There are various staff members who work on [redacted]'s behalf on a daily basis. There is much work and time that goes into each individual client's program. After [redacted] left our office, we immediately went to work for her. We entered her information into our system, created her profile, conducted her national background check, etc. We were waiting for [redacted] to complete her profile in order to get her account activated. She completed her profile on 3/1 and we activated her program on 3/4, once everything was completed on our end. We then matched her with her first match on 3/11, which was one week after her account was activated. We did have this gentleman in mind for h.er, but the matching process is one that takes time. We explain to our clients and send an e-mail explaining that it can take up to 8 weeks for the first referral. She received her first match rather quickly.
However, things did not work out as planned and her match did not contact her for some reason, Sometimes things can happen that are out of our control and
we would hope that [redacted] would understand this. We apologized to [redacted] on her match's behalf, told her we would search for a new match and agreed to not count this match towards her program. We then had to go back to the drawing board and search for a new, best possible match for [redacted]. In our Rules and Regulations, we explain that there is no time frame or frequency of matches, but we do search on our clients' behalf on a monthly basis. We need to ensure that each match is the best possible match and, of course, the most "mutually compatible", per the clients' profiles.
[redacted] e-mailed us expressing her disappointment and requested a refund on 3/25. We immediately called her upon receipt of her e-mail and listened to her concerns, She expressed that she felt a type of "rejection" feeling since her first match didn't contact her and she hadn't received a new match yet. We reiterated the process and explained that we were looking at a few possibilities for her, We just had to check their availability, etc. She appreciated that and we ended the call.
We were able to find [redacted] next match on 4/11. Unfortunately, [redacted] and this gentleman were co-workers, which we were not aware of. Please note that we ask our clients for their occupations, but we do not know what companies they work for. Therefore, we would not have been able to predict that [redacted] and this man worked together. This seemed to greatly upset [redacted], as it appeared to embarrass her more than anything, which is understandable. [redacted] contacted us on 4/16 and, once again, expressed her disappointment, requested a refund and said she would be contacting the Revdex.com. We reached out to [redacted] as soon as we received her e-mail, but we did not get in contact with her.
We then received a charge-back for [redacted] for the fee she paid. We responded with all supporting documentation and information. The case was closed in our
fa\lor. We then reached out to [redacted] yet again and had a very lengthy conversation with her. We continued to try and resolve her issues and explain that she needed to remain patient with the program. She had only just begun and had purchased 6 matches. Some people meet someone right away, but for most it can take time. [redacted]
was adamant that she wanted a refund and nothing else. She was not willing to cooperate. We explained that we would have someone else reach out to her.
Another representative called [redacted] when we received her Revdex.com complaint and left a message. Almost a week later now, we still have not heard back..
As you can see, we have provided everything promised to [redacted] thus far. We're sorry that she has been frustrated and we can empathize with her frustration.
However, this does not warrant a refund, especially since our fee is non-refundable. [redacted] needs to allow the program some time to work for her. We want nothing more than to continue working with her and try to find her someone special. We know there is someone out there for [redacted] and we want to help her find him. We ask that she contacts us and continues to work with us. We are here for her and only have her best interest at heart.
Thank you so much for your time in this matter.
It is nice and trustable. And listen to our requests.
Review: Virginia Singles solicited my membership by telling me that there were plenty of men available who match my needs, however, the service has been delivering men who do not meet my qualifications and making me feel like the problem is mine. I have been told "it could take up to eight weeks to make a match", "we are working on other clients", "we can't match when we are talking to you on the phone" and each time they deliver another match that is not compatible, no action is taken on my account unless I call constantly to prompt them to move to action for me. I do not believe they have the inventory that they promised when they sold me the membership and I would like to take action to find out what my options are at this point in time. I have been a member of the club since August 19th and have received five gentlemen's names. Three of them were not good matches to begin with, and I did go out with one who was a nice guy. I have been provided a gentlemen's name today but that is only because I changed my height requirement to 5 ft 10 inches because they said I was making it difficult for them to find me a match. I just don't think they have the inventory they promised and I don't think they should get away with charging me an astronomical amount of money and then not delivering what they promised. When I sat with [redacted] on the first night, she told me she had three doctors that fell within my requirements and since I started and have inquired about them, they have been unavailable. I don't think they should get away with lying. I would like to know if you can help me recoup at least some of my money.Desired Settlement: Refund of 75% of my payment of $4400 due to lack of inventory and false promises.

Re: [redacted]
Case #: [redacted]
To Whom It May Concern,
We are honestly surprised to receive this complaint from Ms. [redacted]. Not only is everything right on schedule for her, but we have provided everything which was promised during her interview and according to her contract and our Rules and Regulations. Ms. [redacted] has already received matches with 5 gentlemen in the course of less than 2 months. Upon receipt of this complaint, we reached out to Ms. [redacted] to discuss the situation. However, she was unreceptive to our desire for a resolution and stated that she would see what happens with the Revdex.com case.
Ms. [redacted] purchased a program which consists of 8 matches/referrals, including the services that are involved in the process of providing these referrals. Ms. [redacted]’s contract clearly states that her fee is non-refundable. We would like to work with Ms. [redacted] and provide our services as contracted.
Ms. [redacted] joined our services on 8/18/14. She had an extensive interview in our office with a Relationship Specialist. They discussed Ms. [redacted]’s past relationships, what she is looking for in a partner, etc. We presented her with various package options for our different programs. For her fee, she not only receives matches, but also receives services such as the creation of her profile, background check, communication (e-mails, phone calls), maintenance of her account, recruiting men on her behalf, conducting searches for matches on her behalf by our matchmakers, etc. There are various staff members who work on Ms. [redacted]’s behalf on a daily basis. There is much work and time that goes into each individual client's program.
After Ms. [redacted] left our office, we immediately began working for her and providing our services. We entered her information into our system, created her profile, conducted her national background check, etc. Once Ms. [redacted] completed her online profile and we finished everything on our end, we were able to activate her account. We did so on 8/27. We notify our clients that it can take up to 8 weeks to receive the first match. However, we were able to find Ms. [redacted]’s first match much sooner than that, on 8/28. We also had another gentleman that we wanted her to meet, so we matched her with another man on 8/28 as well. We also matched her with men on 9/3, 9/18 and 10/3. All of the men we have matched Ms. [redacted] with have been compatible with her, according to their profiles. We also explain to our clients that we will search on their behalf on a monthly basis for matches. Ms. [redacted] has been very fortunate to receive 5 compatible matches in such a short period of time.
We use preferences as a guideline for matching and try to come as close as possible to what our clients are looking for. We provided Ms. [redacted] with a Rules and Regulations pamphlet upon joining our services. She also agreed to having reviewed these Regulations under paragraph #1 in her contract.
In the Regulations, under paragraph #3 it states:
"Compatibility is very subjective and that we will send you referrals we deem, in our sole and absolute discretion as "likely most mutually compatible" as indicated in your singles data. The final determination to meet a referral is yours and yours alone. You understand and agree that we will supply you referrals on an as available basis. Because we try to send compatible referrals, you understand and agree that there is no way for us to predict the frequency and time frame of each referral. However, we will search on your behalf on a monthly basis, but we will only match you with others that we feel you are compatible with. You further understand that no two people are generally perfectly compatible and agree that we will use our best judgment in providing referrals that most nearly match your requirements."
[redacted]As you can see, we do our best to come as close as possible to what our clients are looking for, but not all criteria will match 100%. We want to give our clients every possible opportunity to meet someone special. Also, under paragraph #4 in our Regulations it states:
"You understand and agree that simply because you choose to meet with a single that we have referred to you does not mean that such single will agree to meet with you. It is impossible for us to guarantee that any single to whom you have been referred will agree to meet with you. You understand that you will not like everyone you meet and that some of those you meet may not like you."
[redacted]As you can see, we try to give our clients realistic expectations in regards to their program. Our only goal is to help our clients find successful relationships, but it’s important for them to be patient, optimistic and flexible. We have had many couples connect that were outside of one another’s preferences. We all have an idea of our perfect match, but there are usually some things that are not to our exact liking. Also, when people fall in love, sometimes certain preferences do not even matter anymore.
Yes, Ms. [redacted]’s Relationship Specialist told her about 3 gentlemen in our program who fit what she was looking for. However, people’s availability can change on a daily basis, especially if someone is a great catch. The gentlemen which were mentioned are no longer available to meet Ms. [redacted]. However, this is not to say that other great gentlemen won’t come along or that the men we matched Ms. [redacted] with thus far aren’t great. Ms. [redacted] has been matched with some very nice, successful gentlemen. If she did not have a “connection” with them, that is okay. We continue the search and hope for the best with each and every match.
Also, Ms. [redacted] signed a client obligation form which states that she is required to meet all of her purchased matches so that she may give Virginia Singles the full opportunity to meet her expectations of the program. She also agrees not to go to any outside agency before trying to resolve any issues directly with our staff. This includes contacting the Revdex.com.
As we mentioned, we reached out to Ms. [redacted] immediately upon receiving this complaint. We tried to discuss her program, preferences, etc., but she did not appear to be willing to discuss any further. She would like to see what happens with this case, but we are making every effort to resolve this matter directly with Ms. [redacted].
As you can see, we have provided everything promised to Ms. [redacted]. We’re sorry that she is unhappy with the services thus far. We believe that we have been working very hard for her, have introduced her to some great gentlemen and we’d only like to continue working with her to try and help her find someone special. Ms. [redacted] needs to allow the program some time to work for her. We know there is someone out there for Ms. [redacted] and we want to help her find him. We ask that she contacts us and continues to work with us. We are here for her and only have her best interest at heart.
Thank you so much for your time in this matter.
Regards,
Virginia Singles
Review: On the afternoon of May 12, 2015, I entered into a contract with Virginia Singles under the promise that they would deliver their services within 0-8 weeks from the date of my paying for the program. In the 8+ weeks since 5/12/15 I have only received 3 phone calls regarding gentlemen who were nowhere close to the "perfect match" that was explicitly promised during my two hour meeting with the Virginia Singles staff. The last correspondence that I received from the company was 6/17/15 letting me know that one of the three individuals they called me about wasn't even available. I was extremely anxious about the transaction and was explicitly assured that I was an "ideal match" and that the company had a pool of "thousands" of gentlemen that I could expect a return on my investment within a few days to two weeks. I have upheld all of the client obligations that they require and have had no return of service on my investment in the guaranteed time frame (as per their documentation/handouts). I have emailed both their direct contact email and their "Contact Us" link on my client portal and have not received a response requesting the dissolution of my contract and the refund of my payment to them for services that have not been rendered.Desired Settlement: I want to be refunded my payment amount, in full, and wish to completely dissolve my contract with Virginia Singles as they have not proven that they can deliver on their contractual promises.

Response:
To Whom It May Concern,We are in receipt of Ms. [redacted]’s complaint. We will
address some important information regarding our process and the details Ms.
[redacted] mentioned.Ms. [redacted] has been an active client with us for 8 weeks
now. When we activated Ms. [redacted]’s account, we did explain that it can take
up to 8 weeks to receive the first match.

To Whom It May Concern,Yes, we received Ms. [redacted]’s e-mail on 7/7. We explained
in our prior response that we reached out to Ms. [redacted] the following day,
7/8, to discuss her concerns. Please note that we connected with Ms. [redacted] on 7/10 and
briefly discussed matching, needing to receive pre-approval for certain
matches, criteria, etc. However, Ms. [redacted] couldn’t speak long, so we
agreed to connect with her again on that following Monday. We called on 7/13
and 7/15 and left messages. We have not heard back from her and have now received
a “rejection” to our response. As you can see, everything has been right on schedule for
Ms. [redacted]. It is important for her to remain patient and optimistic with
the program, as she agreed to in her client obligation form. She also agrees to
meet all of her purchased matches in order to give us the opportunity to meet
her expectations of the program, as we previously explained. We are doing everything
in our power to communicate with Ms. [redacted] and get her excited about the
program again. She must stay in communication with us directly about any
concerns she may have. We are only here to help her and want nothing more than
to continue trying to help her find someone special.Thank you,
Review: I joined this company due to misrepresentation of a service. I was informed during my presentation that this company (Virginia Singles) can provide a matching service. I joined during July 2014. As of today they have no candidates available. I was originally matched three days after joining. When I spoke with the man, he stated that he had been with the company 30 days and has been matched with 6 women. I was profound. That means something was wrong with him and Vidginia Singles just passed him around. After speaking with him, I understood why all the females declined him. The male informed me that I was not allowed to have any male friends. He hadn't has sex in years but was lucky enough to had sex with the last female candidate. At that point I informed him to have a nice day. I called Virginia Singles and sent them a email. From that point months past with no contact. I decided to reach out to Virginia Singles after I had paid five thousand dollars. One of the representative statied they had a great match. He was 65 year old male with six kids. I told her that I was not interested in any male 65 nor is that on my match profile. This happened around October after continuous calls from me. His occupation per Virginia Singles was a limousine driver for the president of a company. I stated that I was not interested in a limousine drive but they can introduce me to the president. During the holidays, I continued to reach out and again nothing. I was told maybe some candidates should come in during the beginning of the year and they had an abundance of candidates on hold due to the holidays. Around March I received a call stating they had a candidate that was a professional photographer. He was 65 with 6 kids. I asked was this the same male that I said no too months ago. The difference was he was a limousine driver instead of a professional photographer. I was told no. after persistant persuasion I agreed was upset due to letting someone make me lose my values.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund due too misrepresentation of service. Virginia Single stated they can provide a service when in fact they cannot. False mispresentation.

To Whom It May Concern:We have received Ms. [redacted]’s
complaint and would like to address some important information. Please note that we will only match
our clients with those who are most mutually compatible with them, according to
their profile information. Some clients receive matches frequently while others
may wait some time in between referrals.
Thank you. Regards,
